Disappointed to find silver casing has 2 dents on opening box. Not able to return as need it for tonight. Would have returned otherwise.
Cannot comment on anything else at the moment.
Update: fish cakes cooked to perfection, very simple to use. Shame about the outer case being dented but does not affect cooking. 1 star deducted for dents

Filled it with dripping. Cooked chips in it 5 times a week for the last 6 months. just fried some pork ribs in it.

Prev had a fryer by a well known brand but after 6 months it was struggling to cook a decent chip. Read reviews on this and for under 30 thought it worth a go. When it arrived I was sceptical. Lid was flimsy and is just placed on top. To be honest I nearly sent it back but decided to give it a chance. Glad I did. Makes excellent chips. Quick up to temperature. Perfect home frye
As close to a commercial fryer as you can get for a domestic price.
Fits neatly on to worktop and is easy to use.
Good temperature control and it’s 3 litre capacity means everything has room to cook evenly.
Unbelievably easy to clean as all parts slot together easily; this they are easily separated to clean.
Basket, lid and reservoir fit into dishwasher, so almost no manual scrubbing required.
Lid also contains odours when not in use, so the kitchen doesn’t permanently smell like the local chippy.
This is the best kitchen gadget I’ve bought for years. Definitely won’t be joining it’s predecessors bread maker/vegetable steamer/air fryer/blender etc… in the garage.

Washing out before use. This one had very sharp edges under the part that you fill with oil and I cut my finder in a few places.
Flimsy
Not as sturdy as I would have liked and when homemade chips are fried on the chip setting they brown well but are still hard in the middle. A little disappointing.

I have put off buying a deep fryer for a while now. But after spending soo much on burgers and chips this summer, I gave up and bought one. Best decision, If used in moderation. Cooks quicker yummy foods.
Markings disappea
All temperature and time paint markings disappear after about 3 months as they are not etched in. Shame as otherwise it is brilliant.

The Aigostar deep fat fryer heats up quickly, and appears to hold a very accurate temperature throughout the cook. Easy to assemble/dis-assemble for cleaning/storing and for the money, the quality is good. There are just 6 components to the unit, and 3 of them can go into the dishwasher. The other parts are not suitable for that method of cleaning, but a hot soapy bowl wash does the job in a very short time. The unit is reasonably compact and can be easily stored in a typical depth kitchen cupboard. Very pleased with the purchase overall and would recommend to a friend.

The Aigostar Deep Fat Fryer with Dual knobs of Timer & Temperature knob, Visual Window was bought as a Christmas present and the recipient is very happy with it. He particularly likes the visual window, controls and most of all the fact that its so easy to clean.

Great performance and value for money
Very happy with this fryer. First deep fryer I’ve ever owned and so far I’ve made awesome doughnuts and triple cooked chips! The outer casing is not the sturdiest but I think that is reflected in the price, and once the oil container is in place and filled with oil it feels sturdy enough. Reaches temperature quickly and the thermostat holds it well, having tested it with a proper thermometer. Also like the fact that all the parts are detachable for cleaning – this was important for me as I personally empty and clean it after every use. Overall very happy with the performance and good value for money.

Its best product which i brought in past.
My daughter love fries and chicken nuggets. Usually i fry them in fry pan. Its take so much time because i need to fry separately fries and nuggets and need to turn sides. So i order this deep fryer. Omg i love this. Its save for me so much time. And taste so much better than if fry pan. Now my daughter ask me to cook fries for her everyday. Very easy to use and clean. Value of any penny.
A handy chip fryer that strips down for cleaning, would like to make a suggestion to the manufacturers to make available a cover of sorts for the exposed electrical parts, to protect it from the inevitable oil splashing as after a while it can becomes awkward to clean.
Making good chips
Don’t go by the guidelines on making chips as it depends on the potato.
I love my fryer. It makes the best chips in the world. Easy to clean. Best tip is follow instructions and google how to make best chips. Choose sunflower oil. Look after it and it will look after you
We have had a fair few of these over the years. This has been one of the better ones due to its quality. It looks tinny in the picture but it definitely was a lot better in reality!
Really like the way it comes apart and you can clean it in a dishwasher. This is the only one in this style that you can cook with the lid on. The downside is there is a filter on it. Only a small one but still just another component that needs cleaning and replacing.
Was delivered very quickly. But disappointed with the instructions as they’re a bit vague. Think having pervious experience has helped as was able to use it without any problems.
Definitely value for money and worth getting. I would definitely recommend it.
