Disappointed not that reliable
After using for a few months, the drive assembly fell into the bowl, a screw had fallen out, allowing the whole mixing arms to detach. After patiently fitting this all back together, few weeks later it fell out again, this time the shaft pin disappeared,
Have now returned, mixer very disappointed .

Easy to use and clean.
I wanted it to knead bread dough, and find it a godsend, I have arthritis and find it difficult to use my arms and hands for any length of time. The other attachments work well and easy to use.

Love this mixer before this i had a hand held. But this is the bees knees wasnt expensive but it does exactly what all the others do. Defo recommend it.

eeded a new mixer and a lot of them are a bit on the dear side. have already got an amazon basic cylinder hoover and am very happy with it which gave me confidence in buying this product. just goes to show that expensive is not always what it’s cracked out to be. does what it says on the box

Basically the same thing as the 300+ kitchenaid mixer, so I’m really happy with this purchase. Doesn’t feel under powered, but I haven’t tried a dough yet. Has all the attachments I need at a great price.

An excellent product and excellent price.
Replaced an ancient Kenwood chef with this really light and easy to use mixer. The suction caps make it very stable in use and quick to remove from work surface ( best to tilt it ) as I keep mine in a cupboard.
I ordered it one day and it arrived the next.

Good mixer for price - finds bread dough tough
Seems ok but, with bread dough it keeps popping up and stopping.

I guess it ultimately depends on what you plan to make. It’s brilliant for cakes etc but struggles a little with dough for bread / pizza (500g flour).
It’s capable, but moves about a bit and has once Managed to release its latch. Smaller batches would be fine.
Still, happy with it considering the price 🙂

The product us good to use at home but not for pro cooking. if you use this to make some bread or cake that would be perfect for a small production lets say cooking 3 to 4 time a week but not for several time a day. the stand mixer will breakdown If you do so. over all its a good quality product and easy to use

The power behind this mixer is absolutely amazing! I didn’t want to spend the money the more expensive kitchen aids wanted after my last one died so I decided to give this a try. If you don’t require the 5 million weird attachments that will end up collecting dust in a drawer and simple want a powerful, well made and reliable stand mixer than save yourself a fortune and get this one!
Fantastic mixer well worth the money only one drawback and that’s the attachments don’t reach the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise perfect for baking.

The item arrived lovely but the lid is broken n in 2 pieces. Would be perfect if they can replace just the lid n I didn’t need to return.
I like this stand mixer. It works as well as some of the brand names out there. I just wish it didn’t move so much when being used on higher speeds.

Not very sturdy compared to more expensive options but for this price its a bargain. Its amazon basics after all. I use it every day, so far no problems. Very good for doughs and meringues. Would recommend

Not strong enough
Is not strong enough, you need to use small small portions if one to make bread or cake. For cream is good.

I needed a stand mixer for making marshmallows. This was reasonably priced compared to some alternatives. I have just used it for the first time and it is easy to operate and clean. The marshmallows were fab. ADDITION: Still using this after several months and the marshmallows are still as good. Also great for mixing cakes.

Ideal for a novice
I’m not a professional but this mixer is really good! You have to stop and wipe the sides of the bowl down every now and then but I love it!! For someone just making cakes for their family it is ideal!!

A decent mixe
This mixer is very easy to set up and use, it looks nice with its black plastic body and chrome bowl. The suction pads underneath keep it well in place even on the highest setting. For most ingredients it mixes them well although for more doughy mixtures it isn’t the best as isn’t powerful enough to kneed it. However for most things this is an impressive mixer that I would recommend.
We absolutely love ours. And it’s used every week. It never fails to please us. The cakes come our light as a feather. I’ve not tried making anything else in ! But we only wanted ours for cake making.
It’s so easy to clean. Just wipe down the main unit. The rest we put in the dish washer. You really can’t go wrong with this diamond of a machine.
If your a wizz in the kitchen who makes cakes biscuits and bread etc then an item like this especially living on its own counter space is a must. I am not such a cook. I do love cooking and only very occasionally make cakes or have the need of one of these once in a blue moon.

It stands happily on the countertop of my kitchen, looks the part and I think for the price point and motor size your getting a very nice piece of kitchen equipment which is more than capable of tackling the everyday tasks a competent cook would ask of it.
If you looking for a hard working capable good looking free standing counter mixer this is a good start…. it appears well made, comes with the necessary additions to whisk, stir, beat and pulverise and it does everything you need while looking aesthetically pleasing at a very reasonable price point. If your looking for chef standard super duper counter mixer then no no no and to be honest you should be looking at tripling the price point and a much better spec.
Price wise it is comparable to lower spec mixers on the high street so I think it’s value for money and will last longer than similar priced mixer.

This is a super stand mixer from AmazonBasics. It is a really good, basic model that comes with a beater, a dough hook and a whisk, along with a bowl and lid for the bowl – and it has a British 3-pin plug. It comes with clear, easy to follow little instruction book and it is very easy to operate. It is very stable when you use it, because of the way it’s made. I’ve used fancy posh ones with lots of add-ons in the past, and this works just as well as the expensive models. It is great for all aspects of baking from bread and cake-making to whisking cream or egg whites. It is so easy to use that I allow my 9 year old granddaughter to operate it (under supervision) when we are baking together (we are both Bake-Off fans). With my guidance she follows the instructions and she has had no problems at all. She is growing in confidence and ability – and this excellent mixer is helping to make that happen. And I can’t praise it more highly than that.
Functions very well, and has a complete set of attachments. The anti-splash screen is a nice touch, and I like the recipes in the instruction booklet. Only loses a star as the whisk attachment feels a bit flimsy
