Its been years since i’ve had a vaccume cleaner with a powerful suction on it. Did a good job getting dog hairs. The only issue I find is that it needs a little strengh to push and move it when on but i’m fine with that.
Just tried this out and as someone stated previously the suction is incredible, I was quite surprised. I needed a cheap back-up vacuum for my main one which although great on the stairs is not so good on larger areas, this fits the bill perfectly. It’s probably one of the best value items I have bought in a while. Although it’s a bit plasticky, it seems sturdy enough, and if first impressions count, this one is a keeper.
This vacuum has great suction! It was easy to assemble and fairly easy to work out how to use. The cord is fairly long but could be longer. Overall great value for money and does the same as our Dyson or even better at the moment.
Good points…. For its price this vacuum has a lot of suction. Build quality seems good. Filters are easy to change/clean and it’s easy to empty.
Bad points…..Its a lot heavier than previous vacuums we’ve owned and would not suit someone that wasn’t particularly strong. Its quite large so even lent right back it won’t go that far under low furniture. To recline it you have to put your foot on the front and push the handle back hard, not entirely sure how long that will work before wearing out.
Received this hoover today in 1st class condition, found it easy to assemble with no tricky parts. Saying it’s the best hoover i have purchased is an understatement, picks up exceptionally well and the tools are easy to use. I didn’t realise the amount of dirt that was in the carpet until checking the hoover. Overall a very good purchase, just one thing maybe the cable could be slightly longer, i live in a studio apartment so it’s fine for my but stairs in a house you may need an extension lead, but overall extremely satisfied 5 out of 5 for me.

Really pleased with this, very strong suction and long lead makes doing stairs easy.
One thing to note is that on deep pile carpet the suction is so strong that it actually lifts the carpet and makes it difficult to move. Solution, turn the air flow to part hoze and it’s perfectly fine then. I would be worth adding this to the guide book Amazon for other buyer’s benefit.

I’ve previously used branded vacuums which have nowhere near as much suction power as this! Half of my flat is carpeted and I have a pet dog, this vacuum has no trouble picking up dust and dog hairs. The hose and attachments are also really powerful and work really well in more awkward places. It’s heavier than vacuum cleaners I’ve had previously but that just helps for a good arm workout, the weight is also forgiven for how well it works. Really pleased with this purchase and would recommend!

Nice vacuum, the only drawback is its weight. Otherwise it’s quiet, powerful enough and has useful features like turbobrush.
Brilliant for the price you cant go wrong. Power lead is a bit short but just have to move it around with you a bit more than I’m used to. Definitely recommend. Got all the attachments you need and all work as strongly as the main hoove

This has just arrived and I wanted to try it straight away and this is after ONE USE!!!!!!! And that was only my living room carpet. I only ever use my Dyson and this has surpassed it for suction like you wouldn’t imagine. I hoover every single day because I have two kids and there was obviously more dirt in my carpet than I thought. I took a risk because it’s so cheap but this is the best money you’ll spend on a ‘cheap’ hoover. Looks fine and you’ll perhaps think it’s not as flashy as Dyson or shark but belive me once you try it you’ll forget all about that. I only put 1 star for lightweight because it is heavy to move but its so strong at picking things up you’ll not care so expect a wee workout and you’ll be amazed at how much you lift with it!
A heavy vacuum you won’t find easy to use on stairs, and a suction so strong it will lift carpets up.
That said, your carpets WILL be clean in single strokes, no more going over the same spot twice.
Despite its weight, it maneuvers very easily around corners.
Dirt accumulates in a plastic containment unit, so very easy to clean and no dustorm when emptying it as you get with fabric bags.
This beat our former henry hands down in power, only downside is the weight.

We’ve just received our Amazon basics vacuum and it’s far from basic! Our previous hoover has been on its way out and not picking up very well, even after several attempts at fixing and cleaning it. Thought we would buy this to see us through “lockdown” till we can go out and look at others. WOW doubt we will need to purchase another one. It’s brought the pile back lovely into all our carpets, and the suction is fab! It does get heavy to push when hoovering, but it’s not unmanageable. We also have a springer spaniel and dog hair is not an issue for this hoover. Would highly recommend, specially at this price.

Amazing vacuum cleaner! Exceptionally straight forward to use and boy does this clean the carpet! After reading hundreds of reviews for different vacuum cleaners I decided on this one and am happy I did so! Really can’t fault it!
This vacuum cleans amazingly! The suction is so strong I am sure I will have strong arms soon. It’s a bit bulky to carry around and though I don’t have stairs, I think I would really struggle if I did.
The tube is also too short and when you switch from upright, it’s not easy to use as the tube is very short and therefore not easy to reach areas you are unable to use in upright mode.
Overall, it’s a very sturdy vacuum and I am happy with my purchase.
I have 4 dogs and 2 cats this Hoover is brilliant. I was sceptical at first but had read the reviews on this hoover. I can now see pile on my carpet. Suction is brilliant. Cant fault this hoover. Highly recommend.
This is probably the best vacuum I’ve owned in terms of suction power. It really works! The price is great too. Had an issue with the belt breaking and since this is an unusual brand, the belt was impossible to find, but Amazon was quick to send me a replacement vacuum with return of the old one. All-in-all a great buy!

I have been looking for another hooever (my 3rd in 12 months) and was getting pretty sick of spending 100’s and the suction on them is dire, I mean i could probably suck up more than the big named ones i have bought so decided to go for this one and was so pleased with it, I’m sure it’s sucked him dust from about 1975! love it and would highly recommed. Okay it’s not the lightest of hoovers but still worth it.
I recently walked into John Lewis store and seen this vacuum but it was branded as a John Lewis machine. Theirs has a higher price tag and did not appear to have the included pet tool.

-Fantastic on carpets! I also own a Dyson V8 cordless but still use this upright a few times each month as it gives a really deep clean on carpets and picks up all the dog hairs.
– Quiet operation and can easily turn the brush bar on or off at the touch of a button.
-Powerful suction!! My expectations were not high but I was pleasantly surprised when I turned on this machine for the first time!
-Simple setup, easy to empty when full and only some basic filter maintenance required from time to time.

This is not a strong point for this vacuum, especially if you plan to use on vinyl. I find the suction is so powerful it just sticks to hard floors with too much force.
-Manual adjustable dial to use the extension hose can be a pain when you only need it for a brief moment.
-Cable length is short! Expect to need an extension cord if you have a large home.
-Leaves black residue marks on skirting boards from the front bumper. I resolved his myself by placing some tape around the rubber plate to stop it from marking walls.
Overall I would purchase this machine again. It’s low cost, requires minimal maintenance and does a really great job when cleaning the carpets in my home. I feel this is on par or even potentially better than many higher priced machines when used on carpets!

It is heavy but no more so than some of the leading brands I have used, and I actually like that it feels quite robust. Yes you would have read reviews saying that this hoover is heavy, and they’re right. However, don’t let that take away from the fact that this is fantastic vacuum and the suction power is something I would never have expected!!! This is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. I couldn’t believe the amount of dust and dog hair that it picked up that my Dyson had missed. It’s a tall vacuum, and yes it’s weighty but the performance is absolutely superb. I can’t fault it. I can deal with it being a little on the heavy side due to the amazing performance it gives!!!

Suction power is key, on that front it’s excellent value for money. Manoeuvring the vac isn’t the easiest so would consider if youre after something lightweight.

Works well I have a dog and it deals with her hair leaving the carpet beautifully clean. It is not ‘light’ but makes up for it in manouverability and now quiet it is (In comparison to mu old vacuum). This is only week 2).
With 12 cats and 2 dogs we needed a hoover with good suction power. This is the best Hoover we have had. Does a great job. Initially found it hard to run over floor as suction too strong, turned switch between floor and hose and it made such a difference to its manouverability. Highly recommend. Good value for money.

Picks up very well but is quite heavy to move around. Fortunately I do not have stairs but if I did I would have thought again! The hose could have been a bit longer to reach higher places but overall not bad for a cheap machine!
Have to laugh , old hoover pushed out more dirt than picked up. This vacuum has the suction power of an industrial vacuum, very pleased with the cleaning power but have resorted to a two handed pushing technique to prize it off the carpet.
I’ve used lots of different Hoover’s over the years, my most recent being a Henry, and this is the best one yet! I have 2 pugs, and they moult constantly, this Hoover manages to pick up all the hair, and makes my carpets look like new! It was easy to put together, and is very easy to use.
The cable could be a little bit longer, but I used an extension cord, and had no issues doing to the top of the stairs.
I would definitely recommend this Hoover.
Fabulous Hoover would recommend brings the carpets up like new. I found a bit heavy for me but have took all the gadgets off which for me is better( if I was in good health it would seem lightweight)
This vacuume is excellent value for money the suction ability is powerful and the build is solid and functional. As I worked through the house I emptied out the bagless dust chamber with ease and it’s always satisfying seeing the volume of dust and debris picked up. It also handles well through corners and can ‘hug” the skirting board so really doesn’t miss any spaces. Beater bar can be switched on or off depending on the surface. It’s also not that loud which is another bonus. Really pleased and I would recommend it.
Better than a dyson, very powerful doesn’t look cheap, rubber around wheels and front of hover so feels like your not bashing everything only wish lead was longer.
This gives the carpets (and your arms) a really good workout. Not for the weak of arms! All in all a really good cleaner at an excellent price.
This Vacuum is very powerful and the amount of material it picked up from a “Clean Carpet” was shocking, the only reason it did not score 5 stars across the board is because of the suction makes it a little hard to push upon occasions, but this is easily forgiven when weighed against the accessory’s it came with. Very satisfying using this on our new carpet, as normal these days the cable could be a couple of metres longer but overall a great vacuum and excellent value for money. Be careful as the black rubber bumper marks skirting board – easily fixed by covering with tape.

Im a bloke of about 20 stones and i really cant believe the suction on this thing to the point that my galaxy watch thought i had done a workout and awarded me a gold star and considering most of my floors are all wooden tells you how powerful this vacum really is my only gripes are 1…wish it was lighter and 2… it had an adjustable suction dial because after doing the small rug I’d felt like i had gone 5 rounds with Mike Tyson…

The suction is so good it can get stuck to the carpet! Just lift and go on, well packaged with very little plastic thanks for that, came sooner than expected. Great value for money and very well made, thank you.
This is one of my favourite hoovers.
It has brilliant suction. There is a dial to switch between hose and the hoover which I think is the key to the strong suction. The way the tools are placed makes it easy to use the tools around the house. I even use them daily now.
This Hoover is great the suction on it is fantastic and easy too manoeuvre. Definitely recommend this vaccume cleaner.
