it’s flatpack, so it has the usual visual issues where things are not quite ‘square’ but it it is solid and 100% functional and good value for money
because of the lack of clarity in the instructions re runners, and because these have sharp edges that require care in handling, I have given it four stars not five; also in that consideration is the need to hammer home the draw fronts also needing care – personally I would prefer to have those glued as well as the sides even though it would mean waiting before using…

For the money this is a great desk / dressing table . Delivery was prompt, arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

Useful desk
Got this during lockdown 1.0 for home office but reassigned to son’s room. Gives him the space to get his studies and homework done in an organised fashion. He makes full use of the drawers too.
Setup was relatively easy.

Couple of issues. 1 I ordered the brown and got grey. Turned out it suited the room better.
2 one of the screws provided had no thread. I had a leftover from an ikea build so not the end of the world. Draws are basic so won’t glide on runners or soft close. Its a budget desk and is suited to the price point.

Was able to build this by myself in around 2 hours (had never built anything before or would likely be quicker). My concern was it coming with glue however it’s a great size, looks lovely and I’d say it’s sturdy! I’m using mines as a makeup desk so I’d recommend a glass topper for it so it doesn’t stain.

Right size, very comfortable, strong and sturdy. Assembled it on my own, and my study room is not that big. Quite spacey on top, and the drawers are quite deep. Could have been better with four drawers, but it is not a problem, because the drawers can take quite a lot actually. Very happy with it.
Although similar desks are cheaper elsewhere I chose this one as it was higher than other cheap ones. My partner is 6’4 so needed a desk big enough to fit his legs under but also with a gap high and wide enough to slot his big office chair under when not in use. I was a bit reluctant to order it as the price was quite high for a flat pack desk and a lot of the reviews said it was awful to put together or that the draws arrived broken. It was easy enough to assemble although I’d watched a guy on YouTube do his first just incase so maybe that helped. One of the draws was broken just like others have been but it still went together okay and it doesn’t affect how that drawer works at all. Overall a big heavy sturdy desk with plenty of surface area, drawers don’t hold much at all but we didn’t need them to. Probably could have found a desk locally for twenty quid cheaper but none of them were as high as this one so it ticks all the boxes other than slightly high price.

Spacious desk for a small workstatio
The desk was relatively easy to assemble – the only tricky part was glueing the drawers and then putting them in. This part clearly required two people. Other than that, I like the colour of the desk (although if you look closely, you can see the pixels of the oak print). It is spaces to fit my computer and wide enough to allow a chair to roll in.

Nice desk for a good price!
Ordered yesterday and to be honest was worried after reading the reviews.
Item arrived and was packaged well just like any flatpack i have bought before, quality was good and instructions to assemble very easy to follow. Glad i went for it as its a nice little desk.
Not overly impressed for price
Although we did get replacement quickly for the original desk and screws, we found out that not all of the fittings were actually correct. So this has led us, to search for various fittings online. Not the ideal way you want to spend your spare time.We did eventually manage to fit the desk together, and, to be fair my son was very pleased, but it wasn’t as straight forward as I would like.

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised as I think the quality is far better than similar items from Argos (I’ve put a fair few desks together in my time!). It ships from France or I think Spain and luckily mines was quickly delivered in one piece with no damage luckily (it’s pot luck the way individual couriers maybe handle these desks). The oak colourway is very nice and quite sturdy. Definitely better than 6 months use of my dining table during lockdown!! Easy to put together with simple instructions. Took me just over an hour. So those of you considering buying… Go For It as with Amazon you get no quibble. I give it 5/5 stars!!!
Just what I was looking for and within my budget as working from home. Plenty of room for a laptop and screen. Very happy with the look. Was worried when some reviews said missing parts of damaged but everything was perfect, no complaints here and already recommended to work friends looking for a desk.

Arrived quickly, no damages… it was a little dirty as the box was a little damp possibly from a warehouse. Nothing a bit of zoflora and damp cloth couldn’t clean off. Managed to put it together no issues… perfect size for what I need for and looks great!

Looks good when assembled and is practical for home use.
The grey finish looks very good and has nice strong, silver drawer handles. It’s a good size for home or office.
There is no text with the instructions, just illustrations and numbers mainly. I found that it was easier and quicker to assemble drawers first, then fix runners, then all other fixings including dowels, before starting to assemble. (It helps to lay out all of the screws and other fixings, as knowing the quantity of each does help when following instructions.)
There are times when two people would be handy but, it can be done by one person.
I’ve no idea, however, the use of the little plastic L shaped pieces which have a small screw passing through them. When fixing as instructed, all they do is force the underside of the desk top away from the uprights causing a gap which wont close up again even when struck with a rubber mallet.
The screws which connect the drawers to the runners, appear too short but are not, they could NOT be any longer. (Be mindful at all times which is the front and which is the back as the desk has to be assembled upside down.)
All in all, I’m very pleased with this product.

Very happy. The desk is easy to assemble and only took an hour to put together. I made up the draws the night before to allow the glue to dry. The space where you put your legs is very roomy. I use two monitors and there’s lots of room left on the desk. I would highly recommend this for your small home office.
Bit hard to put together but got there in the end. Drawers not great if you need to store lots of papers as the sides are only half way up, but serves a purpose in a pinch. Desktop bit small if you need dual monitors plus keyboard plus laptop, but it is what it is.

I am so pleased with this desk. It was easy to put together and looks really hood. The draws are roomy four in all. Altogether for the money it was a really good buy.
Just what I needed
I was almost put off from buying this after reading some of the reviews but I needn’t have worried. The only tricky part was when it came to putting the drawers in after fitting the draw runners but with a bit of patience we finally managed it. Considering the price I paid for it I have to say I think it looks pretty good and I’m more than pleased with it.

A fairly tricky build, not the best quality finish (the drawers end up uneven) but has done the job so far! Good number of drawers with sufficient space. Will do for WFH.

Fab desk as described, was a little dubious due to reviews and most pics on here are not of the desk I was going to purchase so took a gamble glad i did, good quality, solid, cant fault it, only thing it was missing 2 draw screws for the handles but we had some at home

This unit looks good and is substantial, not cheap and lightweight. Good price for the quality.
Unfortunately due to the weight the item arrived damaged (during delivery). Amazon were very swift with solving this issue. Just check outside of packaging carefully for damage before opening.
I am aware of some of the bad reviews but mine: arrived promptly; included instruction manual and all the parts and was in good condition.
It took me 2 hours to assemble (solo effort) and needed a fair amount of space for assembly. I needed 2 screwdrivers (phillips and flat head) and a hammer. I also used a ratchet as the alternative to the allen key provided but that was all.
Given the price I am pretty happy with the desk

A 100% not happy, the product is fine except the drawer widths are slightly short. The packages with the assembly parts in were not complete C9, B9.
I felt the item should of come in two packages because of the weight problem for one person being me and the delivery driver.
The item rattled around inside scratching found on the handles and side panels, likely on the insides. You could that the package had had a rough ride mainly due to the packaging.

Good value for money disappointed with packaging
Product itself is fairly good for the price, I was slightly disappointed as upon opening the package I noticed that the glue that is provided with the fittings kit had been burst inside the bag. This made all the small assembly items covered in glue and obviously left me with no glue to fix the item together however to save time I popped to a local DIY store and picked up some glue after we have thoroughly washes the items.

Nice and easy to put together and good and solid. It’s what you could expect for the price, i.e. chipboard and veneer, but a good size for the price and plenty of drawer space. Plenty for me to work we with bearing in mind I cover my desk in paperwork and pens and still need the elbow room for a keyboard!

Pleasantly surprised
You get what you pay for of course, and this took me right back to MFI… but having made do with an old kitchen table for months of lockdown home working I’ve finally decided to get a cheapish desk. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The oak finish is quite attractive and fits into various room decors well. It was easy to put together, though there are several sets of screws and lugs which I have no clue where they should go. It’s holding together without!
It’s a pretty sturdy desk with a good depth. I’ve been able to use my laptop on a stand, a separate keyboard in front and still have plenty of room to rest my wrists on the desk. The space under the desk is ok, I wouldn’t have minded having more sideways room and doing away with the drawers altogether, as they are pretty small and don’t even make full use of the depth of the desk. They’re also essentially held together with glue (the fronts also glue on so I’m not expecting much durability). The plastic handles aren’t very nice to use either, but they work.
It won’t last forever, but in these current times it’s just the job. Pleased with this item.

Arrived at least 2 weeks earlier then scheduled. Very happy with desk. Good value for money. Suitable for my 16 yo daughter to use as her study desk. She helped me put it together. Good easy instructions. Read other reviews & was expecting screws & lots of items to be missing but only short one small screw. I was still able to use other spare screws they sent so it was not a problem. Definitely recommend this desk.
Pretty good, reasonable quality
This desk was reasonably easy to assemble. There was just 1 screw missing, but I managed to find one the same size in my supply of spares. The quality is fine and it works well as a first desk for my 8 year old.
Perfect for dressing table
Such a good price for such a big desk, I’m only 19 and managed to put it together myself, all the parts came, really quick delivery, no damaged parts. Only issue was the instructions wasn’t very simple.

Great desk but...
The desk is great but when we where assembling it there where pieces that didn’t have drill holes in so we had to put our own in . The side panels also had some little scratches in but luckily they where on the inside of the table not the outside so you cannot see them the assembly was easy bit it was a bit of a hassle to glue the draws to together and a bit messy because there was glue on the floor so if you are assembling the draws make sure you don’t do it on carpets but it is still a great desk and very sturdy it also can handle a bit of weight I do have a quite a bit of Heavy stuff on it. is a great desk and I would definitely recommend this to other people.
Sturdy, nice looking desk. The instructions weren’t the easiest to follow but got there in the end. It is a comfortable height for using, my computer chair fits under nicely. Enough space for two 24 inch monitors, a keyboard and mouse.

I’m one loathe to buy flat pack but this had changed my mind. It’s a very heavy and solid piece of furniture once erected. Easy enough to assemble for someone who knows what they’re doing ( him in doors, not me) the colour is good as shown..

Great desk I prefer a laptop set up instead of a big bulky pc so this is just perfect and looks great ,I’m very please with it, found it quite simple to put together and I usually hate flat pack stuff. Cant recommend it enough
This product was straightforward to assemble and makes a great desk for my son in his bedroom. The colour is not too officy: it blends in well with the other furniture and the drawers open and close smoothly and are perfect. I’m planning on buying another for my younger son’s room later on this year.

I made this up alone within an hour or so. Easy instruction to follow and seemed to be able to follow without a problem on the whole, although I did put the drawer runners on the wrong way round the first time. Was easy to put right though.
Put plenty of glue on the drawer assembly, there’s more than there looks.
In the end its very sturdy and looks really nice in my office. It will house a 27″ iMac which is not light at all.
Its excellent, but may take longer to build than expected for some.
I found the instructions rather difficult to interperet which led to a long construction time, but, the table is excellent and of great quality, and I am really happy with it.

My son picked this desk, I assembled it. He likes it and it was straight forward to assemble. Instructions were okay and all the bits were there. Give yourself plenty of room to work in – I didn’t.

Very impressed by the quality and ease of assembly. Excellent value. We will be using it as a dressing table. I would say that the colour is a pale-ish beech, but it matches our fitted wardrobes very nicely. I needed to drill 4×2.5mm holes in “part 6”, and the drawer runners needed a bit of thought, but apart from that it was simple to build.
This is an excellent buy. Solid and looks good too. Easy to assemble, especially if there are two of you. Highly recommended.
