For the price this little kit was easy to use and send away and told me so much about myself I never knew! The traits are interesting to look through too. It’s a great addition to the family-tree rabbit hole I’ve found myself down recently

Bought this is a gift.
DNA is easy to do. The ancestry site is very easy to use really intuitive and providing information that seems to contradict what family members had thought was the case.
We still waiting for the DNA results, so hopefully they’ll turn up some more interesting twists
Very easy and interesting to do
Super easy to first rage the sample and informed through every step of the way with the process. Results came back within the time period and had fun exploring the information that cane from this.
Registering
When this arrived it was difficult to light onto the app & put in the appropriate information easily as it was for my 96 year old aunt & only survivingrelative & they wanted her email address which she does not have this in tirn made it difficult to answer the questions accurately.
Really interesting product.
I bought this for my partner. The insight she got from the results were amazing.
For the price, a lot of information. Results take a while coming back.

Amazing
I know if other people who used other places for DNA and then used Ancestry as it even shows the area of the countries concerned. Mine were not easy to just pick from a hat and it was amazingly accurate showing parent I and parent 2 sides. Three cousins were linked to me that have done the test and I know them so prove how genuine it is.
Does what it says
DNA samples have to be posted to the USA. Be prepared to wait between 6 – 8 weeks for results from the time the lab receives your sample. The big plus of purchasing the kit from Amazon is that if you are on Amazon Prime you receive the kit the following day instead of waiting for the kit to arrive from Ancestry.

A beautiful way to see who you are
Showing where you ancestors are from gives you an insight into that makes you. Like a torch in the darkness. It shows you didn’t just appear, you are intertwined in history. Through your DNA
Ideal if you want to find out more about yourself.
I bought a kit for my wife a few years ago and it threw up some interesting points so decided to have a go myself, the test is simple and easy to complete, box and post.
The down side is the time scale, they say it takes up to 20 days (Working days) to receive the samples then 6 to 8 Weeks to process and send back you results so could take up to 3 months to get your result so a slow process, will update when my results are in.
