Really good quality
For something small and relatively cheap, the quality of the audio is really good, not tinny at all like you get with other small speakers. Battery power is great as well, would highly recommend!

i love this little speaker and am so excited that i decided to get it.
I will be honest, when it comes to ANYTHING with a wire, i have the worst luck and things never work for me, even when i buy brand new things.
The ONLY thing that swayed me to buy this actual speaker is a review of it that a young man uploaded on here, it was a short video review.
And i thought it looked simple enough that even i could use it so i got 1.
It is so easy to use, it connected to my bluetooth with ease and seems to charge really well.
I like the actual feel of the speaker and i love the sound quality. I have not tried it on full volume yet but even so, i can still hear it clearly when i am at the back of my garden and the speaker is still at my house.
I have not had any problems with the bluetooth connection at all, and it even has good base.
Another thing i love about this speaker is that you do not need to download any apps at all.
It is so easy to move it from room to room which may not seem like much but if you had had my last speaker, you would understand why i am valuing even the little things!

Sound is nice and clean, compact and sounds tight and warm
I produce music on my home setup (not with these though), so I know a decent speaker when I hear one. I use this speaker as a ‘go to’ everyday speaker to play music on or to use as a soundbar on my tv, given how portable it is. Given its a small speaker, it’s not a ‘party speaker’ where you need more power and boom. This thing does have a surprisingly good amount of volume and power though given its size. This is ideal for home listening or out in the garden or the beach by the side of you as you sunbathe or for close proximity listening. The sound on this thing sounds more premium than the price suggests and even the low end is very good…but its not particularly heavy on bass either…which is what I didn’t want because i prefer a more compact accurate clean sound rather than a boomy pimped up hi fi sound because i find it annoying if i just want to relax and have an ear pleasing non instrusive sound. Id say the sound is punchy and warm with a good balance and range, whilst the look of the speaker is great and looks very elegant and feels nice, given its rubbery shell
What a great little speaker! Waterproof (although I haven’t tested it) connects well and good sound. Rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges. Simple to use with volume controlled by th plus or minus buttons on the top or from your phone or other bluetooth source. Great value and robust enough not to need a separate carry case.
Bought two of these to use in stereo whilst camping. As a single item the sound is very average and lacking any direction and bass. Add a 2nd speaker, linked via Bluetooth, and the sound is very good. Still lacks a touch of bass but forgiveable for the stereo sound and clarity. Overall a good 4 out of 5

Actually these speakers, as a pair, are very very good. The sound is so crisp, the speakers are super easy to connect and are faultless. For the price I’ve upgraded from 4 stars to 5
I bought the first version of thos speaker a few years ago, it still works perfectly fine but I have given it to my teenage son so he can listen to his music in his bedroom.
This second edition is just as good if not better as it has a type C charging port not a micro charging port.
The clarity of sound is excellent, the battery lasts for what feels like an eternity.
It is built solidly and comes with a charging wire ( you will need a plug )
For something so small the volume is very Impressive.
It is so handy to take away with you, listen to music in the bathroom or as I do, in the garden Wifi permitting.
I have nothing negative to say about this.
It is more than reasonably priced and I know it is durable as my older one is still working the same as it was when I first bought it.

Wowser! The NOISE!
I got left behind with MP3 players. “What, 2,000 songs, on this teeny thing? Nahhh”. Technology is always evolving – it was all-kinds of wonderful, not having to cart spare batteries & 10 cassette tapes around! When you were born in a far-distant land of tinny headphones (that my sister & I used to put in a metal bin in our room, so that we could both hear it), something like this Anker Soundcore 2, is beyond marvellous. I only got sound like this before, from my old Sony Hi-Fi speakers, powered by a beefy amplifier – which, of course, you couldn’t take out to the park with you. Now, as well as enjoying everything from Classical to House music on this speaker, playing movies on YouTube is a great new experience – it is immersive. Before, even with my laptop at full volume, on too many videos, I strained to hear the audio. Those days are GONE.
As another reviewer stated, it really does show up greasy paw-prints. I use Dettol Antibacterial Wipes in Lime & Mint for a great many things – they clean this up well, too. I’ve found it best, to just let it dry, though – as when using anything to dry it off with, for some inane & incomprehensible reason, it will only necessitate another clean. I didn’t worry about how wet the wipes are, because it’s waterproof. The rubber bung, on one side, that well-protects the charging & auxiliary ports, neatly tucked away in there side-by-side, will only do so, if it is firmly engaged in its housing. Other, much smaller Bluetooth speakers, I’d never dared to use when in the shower. So, this is going to be a luxury – although, I won’t be splashing it with & most definitely not immersing it in water, knowing that the steam won’t harm it, is a smile-inducing thought.
My only issue is the Bluetooth – it can be temperamental. Certainly, if I’ve forgotten to switch Bluetooth off on my ‘phone, it won’t connect to my laptop. But, often, I have to switch Bluetooth off, then on again, a few times, to get it to connect. Still, I got it for a bargain-price in a flash-sale, I’d not have bought it otherwise & I’m so glad I did. The battery-life is as impressive as the sound. I charged it fully when it got here; occasional use over the last few weeks & it still has 50% left, even though, on many occasions, I forgot to disconnect & switch it off. It does that itself, after a period of about 10 minutes inactivity. It’s just the most maddening, infuriatingly-uncooperative Bluetooth, that had me knock a star off. It is an otherwise-perfect bit of kit.
Packs a punch
Was smaller than I’d imagined, but WHOAH, does this thing pack a punch. Loud with minimal distortion. Battery life excellent, sound quality so much better than the Goodmans unit it replaced.
Brilliant Value
I am more than happy with this for the money paid, I haven’t done blue tooth as I’m old fashioned and connect my walkman with a cable but seriously happy for the size, this reproduces listenable pleasant audio quality enough for my needs.

One of the best portable speakers
Recommended to me by a work colleague. Wanted one to play music during overnight shifts, so I’m not constantly wearing headphones. Was after something compact, but also powerful enough to use for a sound system running dance/fitness classes, and it’s perfect! Powerful built in bass, and clear sound quality. Highly recommended!

Saw a review of this on YouTube and needed something small but powerful for movie nights outdoors. Less that 30 quid and the sound is great which easily can fill a room indoors and a garden outdoors. Waterproof so can handle a bit of rain outdoors and easy to set up. 24hr battery life was a big plus too as my Goodmans speaker barely has 4 hours before it conks out.

I have a Sound core mini which is fantastic for its size. The Sound core 2 is so much better with more wattage and overall is superior. My only reason for giving it a 4 rating is it lacks an sd card slot so I can only play music from my phone. ie utube, Spotify and Amazon.
Apart from that I am very satisfied.
Excellent Budget Speake
Nice looking Bluetooth speaker. Well made and robust. Easy to set up and pair. Impressive sound considering the cost. Looses a bit on the bass, but overall far better sounding than I expected from a budget item.
It is about the same length as my mobile phone; it is connected via Bluetooth to this phone. Streaming from Apple Music to this little stereo speaker produces a good-quality sound.
I purchased it quite some time ago, I generally use it from time to time upstairs to stream music from the phone to the speaker for a fairly good quality sound suitable for a bedroom etc. The bass and treble have to be adjusted on your device. I have not tried the SD Card or Auxilliary function, but if you are looking for something small, but powerful (and not tinny sounding), then this could well fit the bill…
Decent sound although bass isn't brillia
I’ve got this in the bathroom to provide a soundtrack to my showers. I don’t use it all the time, but its battery has held up well. Sound quality’s good, it’s nice and loud, the bass isn’t gonna be causing your walls to vibrate or anything but it’s acceptable. It was worth it for me.

Awesome. Battery life one of the bests in the market (5400 mh) it lasts days! It is sturdy and stylish. Sound is deep and clear. Connectivity is impressive, you just pair it and every time you turn it on it literally takes a second to connect, never disconnects. I was looking at other models because I wanted a rose gold one or a white one and finally got this again in black (have another one blue) because I simple could not find any other better in the same price range. Let’s see if I don’t buy a third one LOL
Great speaker for price
I was sceptical about the audio quality from a speaker of this size, but it really does sound great both inside and outside. Loud and clear.
Battery life seems to last ages as well which is a bonus.

For the price and compactness of this Bluetooth speaker, the sound is very impressive. Music is punchy and detailed; I heard elements of tracks that I had missed prior. Bass is good but doesn’t overwhelm. It was a replacement for a similarly sized and priced Tribit (decent, if a little lacklustre, sound – lacking in punch – but more importantly, refused to connect to my phone after only a day’s usage) and a Notabrick, which was just awful (reedy sound that was almost impossible to listen to). Thankfully, I returned both and settled on this. I have Anker earbuds too, and it has to be said, this budget brand really do concentrate on sound quality – and overwhelmingly succeed. If your budget is somewhat limited, and you need a small-ish bluetooth speaker, you cannot go wrong with this piece of kit.

Good clear sound, good battery, fast charging. Speaker is connected with my laptop whole day, around 12 hrs a day. Charging every second/3ed day. Long life battery. One star less because of distance. Speaker should be close to laptop/phone otherwise lost connection. Probably speaker is waterproof but I didn’t try and I don’t even want … I can recommend, if you looking for something cheaper with good quality sound.

I’m fussy about the sound quality of my music, and bought this to connect to my old mac which has dodgy speakers. It’s a very weighty little thing, which feels like quality, and it connects to bluetooth first time, every time. It sounds really lovely; very warm, not at all tinny like some portable speakers.
I still can’t get my head round the price, when you consider the cost of some others, which probably don’t sound a lot different. I happily recommend it.
Cool little speake
I only got this as it had so many reviews. Easy to connect and if you are actually usuing it to connect to your phone or take to a park then look no further ticks all boxes. Personally i feel there is not much bass at all at higher volume but the reason i purchased this is because my wirless tv speaker stopped working so was looking for a cheap alternative. I could not afford a tv speaker so opted for this to use at night so works for me. Only reason 4 star as it makes a loud super annoying start up noise. Leaves greasy stains when touching while eating yummy greasy food.

I have owned one of these for 3 or 4 years. I wouldn’t be without it. I’ve recently introduced my 86 year old Mum to podcasts and have bought another for her. Very simple to connect, portable and excellent sound quality for the price.

I bought this item with measured expectations. Can’t say I was overly impressed or extremely underwhelmed. The sound quality is decent, same as the bass. The product is good value for money.
Good for price
Not as bassy as the Soundcore boost but for the price can’t complain. Its a good speaker for if you want louder music but not too much bass.
Great Value Bluetooth Speake
Had a Anker speaker previously and it was great. That one got lost so bought this Anker Soundcore 2 and it’s excellent. Can’t fault it. Robust, looks good and sounds great, all round really good value. Would recommend!

Nice little speake
It’s a solid little speaker and gives out a good sound. The bass is surprisingly good, an all round cheap and very cheerful speaker. Unsure about the waterproofing but it’s left in the bathroom and still no problems

Great speaker, ideal for at work
Cheaper option to a JBL but very much the same in quality. Great sound, feels sturdy and is really good for the price. I ve bought one for work and work in heavy engineering but the volume is good. I ll probably buy a second for round the house
We bought this speaker becasue we after a good quality cost effective portable speaker for use in the local park or while on holiday.
Two years later the speaker is still going strong, we have not any issues considering we put it through its paces. The sound quality of the speaker hasn’t degraded at all over the time neither has the battery life.
If I was to find one fault it would be the length of the charging cable, it is tiny. Although this is not a deal breaker.
Would 100% recommend.
Good sound
I needed to replace my old portable speaker which no longer worked after falling from a great height.
Having looked at the reviews I decided to purchase this model.
I’m very impressed and being waterproof is an added bonus, to those of us who enjoy listening to music, whilst being outdoors.

The customer service is outstanding
After purchasing several Anker products I definitely can confirm the build quality is as expected of usual Anker standard.
A very high quality finish that looks and feels great.
Battery power seems to be decent and lasts a fair bit of time with a full charge.
The only problem is at higher volumes the sound just disappears.
At low volumes the quality is brilliant and sounds very good, but as you turn it up it seems to just get tinnier.

Astonishing for price
As someone with a “buy cheap, buy twice” attitude, I’ve always bought high price items when choosing something to play my music. I first bought one of these and was so impressed I bought another the next day to pair to so I can have sound in stereo in my campervan. I currently have one each side of my head and the sound quality is astonishing. I actually feel I can jump into the music and join in with the artist. This sounds easily as good as my Apple EarPods. I’d rather have four of these paired together than one Bose any day of the week.
Great sound to fill a room.
I am a music teacher travelling between schools and I needed a speaker that could deliver high qulaity sound loud enough to fill a large room. This does the job beautifully. I bought it for work but will use it around the home too.
It's what you get for the price.
It’s not bad. If anything the sound on it is pretty good but not as loud as I’d have hoped. I think it is probably quite reasonable for the cost but I’d recommend spending a pretty penny for something a little louder and with slightly better quality. The bass on this isn’t terrible but it is a bit farty. I compared it to my friends Sony speaker and his quality was a lot smoother.

Does what it days on the label
This product had pretty good sound for its size. It’s easy to set up. I use it to play music and radio apps on my phone. It is excellent.
Impressed
This is a great little speaker – very punchy sound, a little too bassy for my liking but that’s what EQ is for. Fantastic when listening at reasonable volumes, it can be decent when loud but will distort when trying to go too loud which is expected due to its size.

I’m happy to find that it is better than I expected it to be. I’m considering buying a second one.
I purchased this to use in the bedroom at night. It’s connected to an old mobile phone which is running my Calm App. The bluetooth connects immediately and the sound is very good when listening to either Sleep Stories (spoken words) or any number of the calming sounds (ocean waves, whales, raindrops etc).
The only 2 things I would change is:
1. the tiny light on top when its on is bright enough in a pitch black room, so I need to put a sock over it to cover it
2. the “blleeurrp” noise it makes when you turn it on. A couple times I’ve woken during the night and its switched itself off (as it should) but I’d like to put the ocean waves back on and its quite a loud sound and I don’t want to wake the hubby!
We did test it out briefly with some Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath .. not concert quality, but perfectly respectable sound.

if you are contemplating and in need of a good sized, priced, and quality speaker…get this! i was so hesitant about which version and brand of a speaker i wanted but i am so glad i got this! the sound quality is crisp and the bass is just perfect for an apartment, room, small party. i am not picky like some of these reviewers can be…i used to have a cheap 15 quid speaker and did not complain but paying the extra 20 quid for this thing is worth it. hoping this thing lasts me a few years! 🙂

When I received the speaker I was a bit disappointed as it was smaller than anticipated. But when I used it it was superb, the sound from such a small speaker is incredible.
An Excellent Bluetooth Speake
Small Bluetooth speakers can sound very thin. This does not. I bought this as a cheap and cheerful speaker for the kitchen. I have since bought a second one for the bedroom. The sound is deep and rich, and fills the room. Great sound quality at a reasonable price.
A cracker for the price
Great sound quality for a speaker of this price. Decent weight and whilst the bass is not on a par with a BOSE it’s punchy enough. A bargain for what I paid. No issues with pairing so all in all first impressions very good.
Great Speaker For People With Limited Space
I don’t have my own place to live at the moment so I’ve only got a small space to watch movies or play video games.
The audio on my monitor is terrible and when watching movies it was too quiet so we was having to use subtitles.
Bought this, the Anker Soundcore 2 to give it a try as it was Bluetooth and it is a lot better than my monitor speakers.
I realised later I could get an aux cable and plug it straight into my monitor which means I can get audio from Xbox through the Soundcore 2 as well. Xbox series S doesn’t have Bluetooth so I can’t use my headphones for Xbox, this speaker having aux means I at least get better audio when gaming than I was getting out of my monitor.
I read in other reviews it clips at high volumes which i’m not sure about cause the speaker is loud enough for me at mid to high volume. The speaker isn’t the biggest so I can’t imagine it has great audio at high volumes anyway.
For music it does the job for what it is, you can hear every instrument clearly and the bass is present without being thumpy and it was easy to pair the speaker with my phone and blu ray player.
I would have rated the Soundcore 2 five stars but since I’m using it now straight to my monitor it would be nice if you could plug it into the mains. The battery life and my habits mean I have to charge it frequently.
Simplicity itself to set up!
Arrived very quickly. I have given this five stars for battery life but haven’t actually charged it yet as it came with some charge already! Very easy to set up and great that it’s so portable and compact. Good sound quality. Am very pleased with it thus far!
Worth the price
Wanna say it’s slightly heavier than others speakers. The sound seems good, Bluetooth connectivity distance is something to be aware of besides that would recommend for a room speaker. If thinking about using it for a party consider the sound goes only one way not 360 so probably would need 2 of them.
Better sound quality than expected.
Really good sound, and loud enough for normal use. Connects quickly and easily.
The only issue is it doesn’t have an inbuilt FM radio, which may not bother everyone but as you cannot use FM and Bluetooth on my phone means you cannot listen to FM radio.
Great speakers
Quite difficult to get two units to link together with Bluetooth and instructions not the best, but once done it works really well. Nice, full sound. If you want stereo make sure that both speakers the same as it’s not too clear that they have to be
Good for the money
Had the same one but previous generation, lasted reasonably often use for about
7 years! This one has waterproofing which was the downfall of the previous. Sound quality good for the price. For around 30 a bargain.

I tried 2 other bluetooth speakers which we’re slightly more expensive and higher wattage than the anker but they just couldn’t compete . Sound quality is solid through the ranges with a decent bass and a crystal clear top end .
Great all round speaker for home and garden. This little unit will play for hours and hours without needing charged and its so lightweight it is totally portable. Anker is the choice for you no doubt .
