his water cooler works really well, but seems a bit slow releasing the water.
Flavor of water has massively improved and I don’t feel I’m drinking lime each day.
Now in the winter, no need to plug it in to cool the water (I prefer room temperature).
Only thing I can object to, is that it does not ave eco friendly filters.
Have been using a Brita water jug but found we were constantly filling so in buying this machine we have negated that.
The best so fa
This is the best one yet, having cold water to drink when you need it is good. Saves me money buying bottled water. Filters are cheap and easy to replace, only down side is filling up with water. That is a samll thing to over come, when you fill a glass or a jug replace the water used right away. Yes i would buy another when i have funds to and have one upstairs as well.
Brought this as the hard water in my area is gross and i wanted a way to hve better tasting water. Here are the pros and cons
Pros
– Filters well! Vast diffrence between this and tap water
– Nice chilled glass of filtered water and had even improved my tea
– Good price, filters and always on deals so cheap to run
– Saves buying bottled water
Cons
– You only get about 600ML of water before it needs to have time to chill again
– If you sit close to it ( in a office room maybe ) the chiller fan can be quite loud
– The logo on the button you press to get water rubbed off in literally a week
– You have to hold the button the whole time you want water which can be a pain as it comes out at a slow speed
Overall it does the job, for a reasonable price just wish it chilled more water so you can get a couple of glasses out of i
I wish the water were colder, but that is just my preference. Temp is reasonable for others. It is easy to fill, and clean. Disappointed at how long it takes for water to cool down, as whilst the reservoirs holds a lot of water, the cooled reservoir does not. It really struggled to cool the water down during the recent heatwave. Plumbed in versions may be better.

If you push the button at the bottom, the button stays in and you get constant water flow, push the button again and it stops.it, lasted just over 6 months then it didn’t cool the water anymore wast of money

If you are thinking of buying a water filter chiller buy this one looks great lovely cool water aswell much better than my last one
Sleek machine
This replaces another water filter which had a high up tank. This one is more unobtrusive and attractive.
Just about fits between work surface and cupboards above, only just enough space to fill with tap water.
Uses Aqua Optima 30 day filters which are recyclable if you find someone locally who collects them, or start doing it yourself! I found some filters for 30 for a year’s supply so not bad at all. It’s not noisy, water chills well but not very fast although in cold weather it doesn’t matter of course. I’m very pleased with this item and would recommend highly.

Chilled water capacity not grea
It does what it’s supposed to do but the chilled water capacity is not great. Can’t get 2 full glasses of water out before it starts re-chilling. I also find the water is cooled but not cold. I had an Ebac water filter/chiller before this and it’s nowhere near as good as the Ebac, now discontinued unfortunately
Chilly !
This chiller gets mixed reviews due to noise and water temperature but I have found it very good. Yes the fan goes when it chilling the water but then goes nearly silence in standby mode. It stays in standby mode most of the time depending on how much water you get through of course. Would recommend

I like the fact that there is no taste to the water and very easy to operate.

Bought this to help us stop buying plastic bottles. It does that well. Takes about 20 mins to chill .8 litres, and provides limitless filtered if you are cooking or brewing so long as you keep it topped up. Taste is fresh.

Great for my home office
I found I wasn’t drinking enough water when working from home, our water is also very hard so doesn’t taste great. I have had the filter/cooler for a month now and I am so happy with my purchase. My water has always been cool and well filtered. I was worried about it being noisy as I was having it in my office but the majority of the time it’s completely silent then about once every couple of days it will make a whirring/fan type noise for about 20mins and then stops. I am definitely drinking more water and I am very happy with, water dispenses quite slowly but it doesn’t really bother me.

Great Purchase
Love this water dispenser. So easy to change filter and refill with water. I have had this dispenser for two months now, easy to set up and have had no issues, water is lovely and cold.
Would highly recommend, no more buying and lifting heavy packets of plastic bottled water.

I was worried this would not get cold enough as I am used to having my water from the fridge.

The humming noise when cooling is extremely minor and wouldn’t bother anyone sane.
I washed out the containers as stated in the quick start guide and there was no plastic taste in the water at all. I also make sure to discard the first 100ml from the filter just incase.
All in all a great machine.

Fantastic cold drinks
Best thing is ever bought. Been drinking flavored water for a long time to help my diet.COLD DRINKS ON TAP BEST THING EVER.
A very good water filter, although I’m not actually sure how much carsinogenic stuff is actually filtered out of the water as I don’t own a laboratory unfortunately, but aqua Optima say on their website they filter out a majority, but not all, but a majority is fine with me! I’d like the water to come out a little faster as it takes exactly 18 seconds to fill up a pint glass (yes I timed it) but it doesn’t bother me that much. All in all I’m very pleased with this water filter as I have a family with four children and don’t want them drinking tap water anymore with all the horrible stuff they put in it now days.

Great product for the price
Found it easy to set up and not that noisy at all. Great value for money, keeps water chilled for a couple of hours when switched off.
I have read reviews about black bits in water, not tasting any different etc., you do have to follow instructions properly, give the water holders a good wash prior to use, make sure you soak your cartridges for long enough and rinse for at least a minute. Flush water through before use.
I bought this to replace plastic water bottles and have more room in my fridge and it has certainly lived up to expectations.

What can I say, I’m genuinely surprised how well this works for the relatively low cost. I wanted a simple way to have chilled water on hand in my bedroom / office space and this product does not disappoint.
I followed all the instructions including running a few litres through the machine before proper use and I had none of the plastic taste others have mentioned. Doing this is absolutely key!
I was a little worried when plugging it in for the first time how noisy the fan was, it wasn’t anything that would disturb during the day or be out of place in a kitchen but since I’m using this in a bedroom I wanted something quiet. I’m pleased to say after the initial cooling period of an hour or so the machine has been practically silent. There’s a light hum if you put your ear against it but perfect for bedroom as no audiable noise. I do wonder if during summer time or when the room is hot if the fan will spin up louder due to extra strain, but I can always use a timer if that’s the case to automatically switch off at night.
As others have highlighted the capacity of the internal tank where the water is chilled is only around 800ml – this tank replenishes from the main tank when you dispense cold water and if you do about 2 or 3 normal size cups in quick sucsession (or 1 large glass) it will need time before chilled water is available again. I really don’t see this being a problem for most people and is likely a design limitstion – otherwise having to keep the entire tank chilled would be very inefficient. Some of the reviews complaining about this I feel are unreasonable – if you want a supply of chilled water on near constant demand you need to go and buy a plummed solution which will set you back probably at least 10 times the cost and hassle of one of these!
I bought a pack of 6 filters (you need to change monthly) for only 15. That means filters will cost 30 per year which is a small price to pay. I suspect the machine would run happily without a filter – though not something I plan on doing or would recommend.
My only gripes if I’m being picky are the two blue lights on the front (power and chilled indicator) are very bright and illumiminate the room slightly – this doesn’t bother me personally but may others. Also, the sticky tape used to hold parts together in the box was a nightmare to peal and left sticky residue on the tank.
I’m extremely happy with this for the price paid!

Worth every penny
We needed a new new water dispenser, and we were drawn to this one. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase, the water tastes so good, really good for us as we are in a hard water area. Easy to set up and use, would really recommend.
No fuss chilled water...
Fed up with refilling the Brita filter jug day after day and then storing glasses of filtered water in the fridge to chill, I purchased this thing. It’s made a huge difference to our lives. The initial set up was a little fiddley but it’s been up and running for the last 5 days. The water is cool – not ice cold but pleasant enough, nicely filtered and crystal clear, and the machine is very very quiet. The tank is huge and the whole thing sits nicely next to our kitchen sink. Simply put – we love it. Very good value for money.

I found a previous review really helpful and due to the information they provided about taking the time to flush the filter through and washing the containers, I havnt had any issues at all and this has led to a great improvement in drinking water in our house rather than squash. Also me now working from home, this machine is used constantly. Also someone mentioned about pint glasses not fitting underneath. It fits pint glasses fine. Water tastes great! 5 stars all around!
Constant cold wate
Does what it says, cold water when you need it and machine is quiet.
Very easy to use and clean, good flavour, cold.
I now drink more water than I ever did, purified, chilled and worth every penny I paid for it. The chilling tank only holds just under a ltr. For best results keep it clean, change filter every 30 days or earlier if you use lots of ltrs, machine will stop dispensing when the filter needs changing. Always follow filter replacement instructions for taint free water.

Only one downside in my opinio
I’d been looking for a water filter as I drink a lot of water & recently my tap water flavour has changed. This is a bargain & simple to set up. The only downside is you have to keep your finger on the button & the pour is slow. However no plastic bottles & will soon pay for itself

The water tastes gorgeous – it’s fresh, and clean… like the very most wonderful bottled water. And to think it’s from the tap!
I will say quickly, the inner compartment is beneath the filter so as soon as you take it out of the box, give everything a good clean – the more thorough you are in the beginning, the better – and this will stop your water tasting of plastic.

This is cool
I am very pleased with this cooler/filter unit, it tastes good and the chilled temperature is excellent, the only drawback is that if the room in which it is situated is very hot, it struggles to keep temperature and therefore remains on. But overall very happy.

Great piece of kit and well worth the money
Loved the cool water and flavour,slightly large so you need a space on your work top,but having said that it does make a huge difference to ordinary tap water.
Brilliant water cooler/filte
I have tried numerous water filter jugs previously but the capacity and cooling ability of this product is outstanding. I am so bad at remembering to drink water, just having this always ready to produce a clear cool glass of water is brilliant.
I no longer buy water in plastic bottles !

Why didn’t I think of buying this. It’s economic the cool water temperature is perfect. Lovely design can’t fault this item. I have read here that it makes a lot of noise. People will always complain no matter what. It’s like putting on your fridge, if your fridge sound doesn’t bother you then this won’t. Very good buy, no more bottled water. I will make good savings too
Good product, ensure you follow the instructions for first use
I bought this product to replace a water filter jug which was taking up far too much room in the door of the fridge. It works nicely, if you want a cool filtered cup of water a few times throughout the day. It doesn’t chill the entire water capacity, as you will see from the other reviews, but for us (two people), it’s perfectly fine.
Make sure when you first get it that you follow the instructions to the letter, including washing all the plastic parts thoroughly, pushing water through the tap and rinsing out the filter. On top of that, I would recommend leaving the first batch of water until the light comes on to say it’s chilled then pouring it away. For me, this avoided the plastic/chemical taste which others have referred to. No issues since then.
The only reason I knocked off a star is because it would be better if it chilled more of the water at once.
