This rack is is very sturdy and and was very easy to assemble. For this price, I wouldn’t expect anything less however, it is not so great for doing squats because it is a bit too low as I am 6’2″. It is great for heavy bench press and allows for adjustable width which is perfect for people with wider grip. Overall, very affordable and sturdy rack.
Only issue I have with this stand is that I wish the arms that the barbell sits on were a little shorter. When bench pressing I sometimes hit it. Other than that I have no complaints and it’s great for what I use it for. I use the squat rack and bench plus I can store some extra plates on it when I’m not using them.
Nice stable unit could easily take more weight than I would ever need and the added plate holders at the front/bottom of the rack is a bonus. The highest level (at the top) is for military press and the lower level for heavy bench press. It is height and width adjustable. Really good solid rack. Great bit of gym equipme
It’s a very solid bench and squat rack however, the safety arms are very low for anyone with long arms and the pre-drilled holes make racking the barbell impossible to reach or too low also.
This is super affordable and easy to assemble. If you’re looking to lift super heavy weights, it’s not the right product. If you want to load lighter weights (up to about 100 lbs) this works just fine. My bench pulls right up to the horizontal bar and I can load/unload bench press. It’s somewhat awkward getting the bar off for squats, but I am not lifting a ton of weight at home.
I use the Reebok barbell and weight set with some extra weights and it works just fine on this rack with it set at the narrowest setting.
Sturdy. Comes with extra pieces. Option of central bar or not. For bench press it’s great. For squats if u have the stabilizer horizontal bar when picking up the weight you must face the weights or else it can be dangerous to place the weights back. Your legs will you touch the bar. if you do the opposite . In short very happy . No pieces missing a minor scratch even thought it came well packaged. I would give it a 8 out of 10. Love i
The squat rack is rather light and easy to carry if you feel like lifting outside on sunny days! Super durable.
Not bad for 140 USD BUT,
Small things that have been cut out to save costs stands out over use.
1- the bar below that connects the left and right hand side pillars has one screw to hold them together. Often this bows the whole rack front to back. Using two screws would have eliminated this and made it sturdy.
When working with weights, that little bit of feeling safe goes a long long way.
2- if you keep this outside, beware. It rusts very quickly. Like in a day or two if there is even a mild rain. A bit of antitrust coating would have been better.
3- the rubber pads on the spotting arm was a good idea but, the glue does not hold very well.
(Original review) Nothing fancy. It’s a squat rack that doubles up as a bench press.
Feels sturdy, easy to assemble and serves the purpose.
If I nitpick, I can say the bar that connects both sides could have been adjustable. I have a exercise bench and it cannot decline much as it hits the bar that connects both the legs but that’s to be expected as the bench was from a different brand.
All in all, worth the price and safe and secure for workouts for medium weights under 100 kg
My 13 year old is just getting into lifting, so we wanted something safe but affordable, and this was perfect! We thought we were going to have to put it on those foam gym floor mats because he has carpet in his room. It turns out we didn’t need to. This piece is already very stable and solid. Everything fit together great when assembling and it was a great gift for him. My 13 year old loves it and my husband and I can’t wait to use it as well!
This is a good, sturdy enough piece of equipment for a home gym. If you’re using very heavy weights, this might not be your best option. But for most needs I think it works well enough.
In terms of using it, for a flat bench press its great, but you can’t adjust the height for that so no incline/decline bench press. And for doing squats, the yellow bar is directly under where you need to stand to rack the weights so its a little difficult to squat without a spotter.
Overall its a great rack for its price, with a few inconveniences.
Easy to put together and sturdy happy with my purchase
Nothing. The equipment is easy to assemble, sturdy to use, and when finished with, easy to store out of the way.
Easy to assemble and very sturdy. It’s great to change widths
Perfect for bench press and squirt. It is easy to move around.
Love it! Gets the job done. Adjustable, easy to install, good product for the money.
I ordered this for my home gym, and I haven’t really had the chance to use it, because it was missing some screws, but i could tell it was sturdy and it was really easy to assemble. I wouldn’t have returned it if all pieces were there. I’ll still give it a 4 stars, because it was super easy to assemble and the material was of good quality.
Great value for the money. I was looking for a beginner piece for my home gym. This was the perfect fit. The size is great and it’s very sturdy. East to assemble!

Good value, easy to assemble, sturdy, perfect height adjustment, well made not too light or flimsy.
This is top quality, well made, strong, easy to assemble, well packed and with clear instructions. Highly recommended.
Strong and stable. Well made and fits the purpose I needed to extend my home gym.
Facile montaggio, istruzioni chiare e in italiano.
Cannot do decline on it and not Perfect high and setting but ok for the Price
I’ve been using it for a few days now and I’m really enjoying it. What sold me the most was that it has plate holders. Not that it is required but it helps with balance. ….. Worth every penny – cheers!
Great piece of equipment. Good quality and excellent customer service from the sellers.
I’m 5’5″ so I wanted a rack with shorter settings available, and this one is perfect. I can do bench presses and squats with no problem. The expandable connecting bar between the posts does mean it’s best to take a step or two forward when doing squats so I won’t bump the bar on the way down, but that’s fine.
It was relatively easy to assemble. I was able to do it alone, but a few steps would have been a little easier with a second pair of hands.
Make sure to use both wrenches provided to hold and tighten the nuts and bolts from both sides where applicable! The instructions aren’t explicit about that, so if you don’t have a lot of experience assembling things like this, it might not be obvious to you.
Great while I wait to get a power rack. They are sturdy enough that I can slam down 200 pounds and not worry about it falling on my face. The bar in the middle is a little annoying, but for the price it’s a great produc
This rack is pretty easy to assemble. So far I have tried different weights on it and i can say it can safely hold about 250lbs without shaking or tilting in any way. I could try higher but taking the weights off would be a different story and I’d rather not let weights fall onto my floor for obvious reasons.
Since it was a small rack I was worried about the stability but when I put the weights on the 2 weight holders it was perfectly stable.
If I had 1 criticism it would be that the place where you rack the bar for doing squats etc could be a little bigger.
But other than that this product is sooo worth the $
10/10

I had my own barbell bench before which took up too much space and was not meant for squats. I now have a space saving bench along with this squat rack.
Very easy to assemble. All screws and bolts are exactly the same which makes it very easy. Only suggesting I can give when building is be careful not to tighten to much you can end up denting the metal.
Looks better than the one at my gym!!
Not sure why I decided to pay more and get this rack as opposed to others which cost less. However based on past experience of inferior quality issues when trying to find best value and regrets thereon I chose to pay more and order this one as it seemed to tick more boxes.
Positives:
Well packaged, well built, even the nut and bolt bag is of decent gsm and so can be reused elsewhere, the instructions are set out like a brochure and the English is clear, a few extra bolts and tube ends are provided for future keeps, easy to assemble, took 30 minutes in all with no stress, used my own tools as opposed to the supplied ones as I prefer superior tools for a better job, foam rubber mats included for the barbell rest positions which is a bonus as I was concerned about noise and scrapes, no cheap welds and no sharp edges or points of body injury. Easy to move around.
Negatives:
The foam rubber mats should be bigger and moulded to encompass the entire rest position (back base and front) and not just the base. I saw a rack in Decathlon which was perfecto but it came with a bench and as I already had my own and space was limited I chose to order this one from amazon.
Time will tell how this rack performs and/or annoys, I think the knobs may give first and I may have to improvise my own bar rest rubbers.
Hope the photos and my comments help you decide.
Within this pandemic year, I have bought lots of home gym equipments. Pull up rack, dumbbell, barbell, cycling, treadmill etc etc, but always fancy a squat rack. But everywhere is very expensive, and actually too expensive. Bought one from Argos, but when it arrival, it could not support more than 80+ kg, even it said so.
Refund that one and starting searching from internet, but again, expensive or not fit my requirement until I saw this one. Free delivery and could support mid-training weight.
Place order and delivery very fast, no extra charge. Feel sorry for the driver as he help me carry the box straight into my home, good guy.
Assemble is very easy, took me about 10mins with an electric wrench, there are two 14-17 spanners include in box if you have not got your tools, which is very sweet.
Well made, very thick bar, could go up to 160 meter hight which enough for all the hight requirement. I put around 140kg on the rack without issues. only problem is the yellow support bar might feel a bit wired as the business gym squat rack do not have bar in the middle.
Over all, 5 star for me, and for all the beginner or inter-mid trainer, cross-fitter. But might be a bit struggling for the body builder. Will recommend to all my gym mates.
I’m 6’5 and the height adjustment is pretty close to what I would squat at with the bench being almost perfect height for me. Assembly was pretty easy but feet could be made longer for more sturdiness
There are two bar-rests. The lower one is a typical L-bracket type off the stands and appears to be welded on well (Not sure I’d “drop” the weight into the rest “hard” like you do at the gym to make sure the bar is parked properly–you could be visiting your dentist and facial reconstruction surgeon if it fails). The welds look solid for the bottom rest, but I’m not sure I’d put more than 200 Lbs or so on there for a bench press. The “top”, upper-most rest seems pretty flimsy for a “rest”. This I note this as it’d almost certainly be your rear or front squat rest and lots of bigger guys are in the 300+ Lb range–will it work? It says it will, but there’s no way I’d put max weight on these stands.
With that being said, you’ll see I gave it a pretty decent rating. If you’re not likely to squat or bench more than 200 Lbs (which has got to be 95%+ of society?!?), this is a very good stand and exceeded my expectations which weren’t high to begin with. I use it in my home gym and I like it.
Thank you.
The assembly was easy and took about 20 minutes, I did it alone so it could be faster if you get help, the wranch that comes with it is not the highest quality but it does get the job done for you.
Overall, for the price, this is durable, functional and great for home gym.
Very easy to build, adjustable width and height, made to be very sturdy. One thing to note is that the minimum height is a bit too big for smaller bars. Overall a great purchase that will get a lot of use moving forward
Is this the most stable squat rack? No it isn’t, nor should you expect it to be for less than $100. I’m not trying to bench or squat 400 pounds off this thing. For the price point, it will allow me to barbell bench, overhead press and squat a decent amount of weight (100 to 250 pound range) with decent stability and safety.
It comes with weight plate holders and changes width and height relatively quickly. I was even able to add a landmine attachment that fits perfectly. I was nervous the stability bar would get in the way of unracking for squats, but it does not. If you have the space for a larger squat stand or power cage with greater weight capacity, I would skip buying this. However, this is perfect given my current space constraints. Do what you can with what you have.
Pandemic home gyms here we go haha
The assembly was enjoyable and easy. It is easy to move yet sturdy when doing the bench press.
I do squats off of it. And love this rack.
The only issue would be that racking the bar is a bit tricky as the rack area is on the top as opposed to the side of the rack bar. And the lower stability bar catches you in the back of the legs while trying to rack, but it is doable.
Thank you!
Theres a small weight rack built into it and aesthetically it comes together nicely
Enter this squat rack, which has been a total life safer.
This thing is as solidly built as they come. I squat about 225lbs with an Olympic bar and this thing can handle it no problem. I do agree that it’s pretty hard to get into position with the stabilizing yellow bar in the middle, but I usually just take it out before I start sets. If you add weights to the pins at the back the rack is fairly steady even without the stabilizing bar.
Of course I haven’t really stress tested it that hard, given that I live in an apartment and the last thing my basement neighbour wants to hear is me dropping metal on metal. But with the stabilizing bar and barbell it’s easy to do all your full body presses (bench, incline and military). The extendable barbell shelf is cool but I haven’t really found a use for it.
I won’t argue that it’s pretty expensive, but given how everything is practically sold out, I really can’t complain.
I using it with 100lbs on squat and bench press with this product. I am surprised on how sturdy this is. The quality of the material used seems high grade , looks like something really solid. It gives you more confidence while you use it, the way it holds the weight. It is easy to assemble, and super easy to put together I’m happy that most of it came welded.
I think its the best squad rack during a pandemic when you can’t go to the gym. It serve its purpose very well. You need to respect it you can’t treat it like you would at a commercial gym.
Recommended.
Replacement unit was perfect! Amazing bang for the buck, and super solid. Yellow bar can be removed for squats, and stability can be gained by adding weight plates to the holders.
I have seen comments about the bolts under the feet. This can easily be corrected by over-torquing them so that unit sits correctly.
Very pleased with the rack and the support experience!
It was delivered in a day, is very easy to assemble (ratchets easier than the supplied little wrenches), looks nice, can be adjusted narrower if needed when not in use, the storage bars at the rear can get 3 or 4 plates out of the way each, and so far seems pretty sturdy … although for at home workouts I am not exactly moving giant weights, the PRs can wait for commercial equipment.
Front squats, OHPs and bench presses are easy with this as well as easier accessibility over blocks/floor for rows and things. Back squats are a challenge to feel safe getting into position for given the support elements – there is a reason the guy in the product video presses the bar over his head before squatting! – but hey, it is not a rack, which is not an option for me anyway given ceiling height in my basement. I’ve been getting good daily use from this and am happy with the purchase.
The yellow bar connects two stands to make it more stable, without it the stands will wobble too much. The stand legs could and should be a bit wider to add more stability. Maybe that way there would be no need for the yellow bar.
The yellow bar is sort of in the way of doing exercises, doing squats feels akward with it. Also, it is installed pretty high so your bench might touch it depending on the setup.
Another negative is the holes for height adjustments, there are too few of them, which limits the range of exercise. If you are doing incline bench press, you cant adjust the stand low enough unless you have super long arms. The holes cover exercises for leg squat and shoulder press, but if you want to do some incline chest press or similar , then you need to drill your own holes. Make sure you have a good drill and a bit.
Overall, this is the cheapest (still pricey) option to buy from all the overpriced racks. Because we have a pandemic, we don’t have a lot to choose from. I think this would cost 100 dollars during normal times, but now it is almost 300. So don’t expect super high gym quality rack, this is very much a home rack, for casual exercises.
You can still load it with really heavy weight, just expect some wobble, it is a good rack nevertheless for what it is intended to be, which is casual home workout.
Good prices, shipping was quick and packaged well. It isaabit lighter duty then I thought, but for the price I understand. I used my 1/4 impact driver to assemble and drove a few bolts in too far until I realized I was using too big of tool. The yellow bar does interfere with my wife’s form while doing a squat. This will get us buy until the workout equipment shortage is over and we can upgrade. Or she lets me buy a welder 😉
