    Great Sound, uncomfortable headband
Great sounding headphones, but after an hour the supplied head band cushion became very uncomfortable. So I modified them, changing them to a hammock style headband. They are now very comfortable and can be worn the whole day.

    Brilliant for this price.
    Solidly made.
    Look sleek.
    Quality cabling too!
    Perfect for any home studio.
Perfect for mixing/recording the response is quite unbiased (using reference tracks).
We got these to record vocals and at loud volumes with these tight against your head, the sound bleed is almost nothing.
Not that I have much use for it but there is a tidy little bag to put them in, nothing too special though.

    Impecable comfort and sound quality
Headphones feel like you not even wearing them, by far the most comfortable pair ive ever owned. Really clear sound aswell and have been great for monitoring and listening to the ocasional music. noise cancelation isn’t the greatest compared to other closed back headphones as they dont seem to close as firmly to the head as others but otherwise great.

    Really good studio headphones
Got the 250 ohm version recently after using sennheisers for over 10 years and they… are… superb. Amazing bass definition (best I’ve ever heard on headphones) and really clear and bright top end. I have been told they can under-represent the mids but I have not personally noticed this yet.

All in all really, really good studio headphones and just unmissable for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery detailed and spacious for a closed back
I have a lot of headphones but I mainly use HD660s for listening to music at home. Although they are very detailed open sounding headphones I wanted some closed backs that didn’t sound or feel clostraphobic and lifeless.

I prefer to used a open back for more detailed folk or chilled indie and American but I prefer a closed back for metal, rock etc especially 80’s metal.

These headphones were comfortable out of the box on my massive melon head. No issues with excessive clamping force and they also had plenty of room for my big flappy ears. I have tried them mainly with my portable CD players but also my higher end hifi with built in headphone amp and DAC.

Every genre sounds full of body and life but doesn’t leave the fine details behind and also seems to feel much more spacious than any other closed back I own. They were supposed to be a secondary set of headphones but I’ve been using them for about 8 hours a day for 2-3 days and they just get better and better.

For the price 109 they are incredible for me, an avid music listener. Everything from Jazz to house music, folk to metal sound great. Just buy them.

    Outstanding, get some
Why are you wasting time reading this when you could be buying a set of DT770’s?

    Great phones
I use them with my Nord keyboard. They’re ideal – great sound quality and excellent noise cancellation. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFantastic for the price
I don’t really have anything to compare these to. I prefer speakers, but since moving in with my girlfriend, I needed something to drown out the noise.

I bought these because I wanted good sound quality for a reasonable price, and I think those boxes have been ticked, they sound great.

I would point out that these 80 ohms work well plugged into my Macbook from 2017 and my iPhone from 2013, I was considering the 32 ohms version, but read they should work, and that the lower ohms weren’t as flat and more consumer. Full volume is plenty, though when plugged into my Marantz amplifier, the sound was bigger and more clear, and more powerful.

Build quality is not great, with plastic, and fixed wires, but I am happy with the price considering this, the cushions are comfortable, and the fit is snug.

I would give them 4.5 out of 5 for the price. 5/5 would be reserved for something that went beyond expectations, but I have given them 5/5 because 4.5 wasn’t an option.

    Comfortable
Yeah, seem just as good as my more expensive bins sound clear.
