very easy to use
i found this jig saw easy to use and the speed control on the finger tip control very good
Appears to be a great investme
The jigsaw is light weight and easy to control (for a novice female). I did think it came with a guide to set the distance from the edge of the wood and the angle could be rotated but I was deciphering images to work out the features. Took a bit of getting used to the switch, it was easy to press too much and get more power than I wanted at times.
Buy, buy, buy
Top brand, top product, has torn strips of my previous Ryobi – value for money too, a game changer for me
Bosch jigsaw
Brilliant tool easy to set up and use cuts and handles grea
Cracking Ki
Paid a little more than I planned but very pleased with this Bosch jigsaw. Easy and comfortable to use, quick blade change and very impressive bit of kit.

Clean lines, easy to stee
Easy to use. Did a lot of diy with ikea furniture, cuts through the particle board like butter. Also cut a pallet board in half, clean straight lines.
Simple easy and convenie
Does exactly what it says on the box, it is a jigsaw, upon arrival you have to insert the blade and then your away, its that easy
Very good
I love this thing. Durable and accurate. Note: if you’re cutting wood you will more than likely need a working table to do it safely.
Great tool
Definitely a must have for your DIY works around the house. It’s easy to use and cut in seconds. I’m very impressed for the price definitely highly recommended.
Great budget jig saw
Great budget jig saw light easy to use and robust would definitely buy again and recommend
About time too
I love this jigsaw, it’s my first one, it’s uncomplicated, the first cut wasn’t great but that’s down to me not the tool, once I got the hang of it it was like slicing through butter. It does have some weight behind it but so be careful if doing big jobs, the only thing that never allowed me to give it 5 stars was the fact that there’s not led light but it’s not a huge deal as long as you’re in a well light space or have bright light. The blade is easy to fit, I would definitely recommend this. I will update as I use this should there be any change.

Jigsaw with an edge!
A very easy piece of kit to handle. Cuts accurately and sharply with out any trouble. Be careful cutting hardwoods as the blades can twist with too much pressure and spoil your precision. Having said that, it works wonders on wood of the correct depth. Delivery was excellent as ever from Amazon and during these difficult times they always come through with courtesy and care. Excellent all round.
Good Value for Money
Bought this with amazon voucher my son gave me for Christmas As i needed to cut some 12 millimeter ply into a curved shape into a couple of bearers. Pleasantly surprised with its performance and how quiet it is. I used the supplied blade for the cut although i had bought a pack of others. I took my time and the finished article was of a good standard. The blade followed the lines i had marked out as long as i didnt try to rush it.
I would recomend this saw to anyone doing DIY projects like me .
Lesson Learned!
Having been tempted by a jigsaw that looked great and promised everything I couldn’t believe how inaccurate it’s fancy laser cutting guide was; rendering it unusable. In disgust I returned to Bosch’s reliability, having previously owned a Bosch which I had found basic but effective. Things have progressed and I particularly appreciate the quick change blade system and the onboard blade storage but the heart of this remains it’s ability to marry your eye and hand to produce an accurate cut. Bosch continue to produce straightforward, easy to use reliable tools – thank goodness!
Perfect Gif
This has been my dads favourite birthday gift, he finds it very easy to use and comfortable. Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant jigsaw
Brilliant product would recommend to anyone looking for a jigsaw. So easy to use/ as a complete beginner I had no trouble using this power tool.
It’s not a puzzle
Fantastic tool had to replace gate post worked great and accurate now I’m looking for jobs to use it. Great value and trustworthy brand
Good for basic d.I y.
Bought this to replace a 30yr old B & D. If this lasts as long I shall be well pleased. Anyway it feel quite light and should b e easy to manoeuvre. Comes with 1 saw blade, but easy to find more. Packed neatly in its own plastic case.
Does the job
I’m not in the trade but for what ive used it for diy its been great, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend!
It's just a dream
Well. So. My friend Big Barry wanted a jigsaw. He wanted one of Bungle and Zippy and all them guys from Rainbow. Which is a very funny and old TV programme from the 1920s when TV was in black and white. And grey I guess. Anyway, I could not find a Rainbow jigsaw. I was sad. I was nervous. So I just got this. I thought it was a jigsaw puzzle but it’s not. Thankfully it worked out well as Big Barry has managed to escape from his prison cell as the prison guards also thought a jigsaw would be safe for a category A prisoner. Oh how we laughed. Big Barry is now living in Spain with a load of old Cockney villains. They rub butter on their big tanned bellies and walk about shouting stone the crows and all that kind of Cockney barrow boy chatter. So I am very happy. And so is Big Barry. And no-one touches him on his winky like the other boys did in prison so he says “hooray”. As do I.

Great little jigsaw.
Cordless brings great freedom. Being able to use the same battery as my other Bosch tools makes life easy.
Bought this to cut kindling for our wood burner, I can’t believe be struggled for so long with out this, so much better. Cuts through pallets in seconds!!
Easy to use, change blades etc and not too heavy when using it for a while!!
Meould easily recommend

Great tool
I don’t have experience with other Jigsaws but i am impressed with how precise and easy it cuts wood.
Handy little power tool, much prefer a battery unit. Does the job though and reasonable at the price.

Reliable and accurate.
Having decided to take on a project building a canoe, I felt my old cheap jigsaw was not up to the task, inaccurate, slow blade changes, and noisy. I have used bosch tools previously (woek and home) I felt I would treat myself. After reading multiple reviews , i opted for this one, good price to features ratio. I was not disappointed. As someone with limited wood working experience, this proved a godsend. Easy to hold a line, (straight and gradual curves) quick blade changes when needed, and the line guide is surprisingly good! Working on 6mm ply I was worried how the finish would be, but I was pleasantly surprised how neat it was, and only started to splinter a bit towards the end of cutting out 20+ pieces as the blade lost its edge. Would be nice if it came with a straight line guide bar (?) But to be honest, its easier to keep straight and with a bit more practice this might not even be needed for the occasional project use it will get.
Great compact DIY tool
Used this to build some garden planters where I had dozens of decking boards to cut. This was my first use of a jigsaw, and i just wanted something that was relatively low cost but could manage a fairly heavy use in a project. This tool was up to the task, was easy to use and gave good results, even a novice like me could acheive smooth and straight cuts, and managed to use the bevel cut setting well.
It is quie
I bought this one as I got the impression that it is more quiet and it will not disturb my neighbors (flat). It is truly quite, I made a good choice.
Great little piece of ki
What a great piece of kit. Got it for small jobs around the house and I am very pleased. Usual bosch quality and pleasure to use.
No complaints
Very easy to use straight out of the box. Has done lots of cuts and still using provided saw bit ( 2 each provided). Does the job.
Not a German produc
Sad to read that this jigsaw was not made in Germany but made in China. I always thought Bosch goods were made in Germany which produces the finest engineering in the world. Goods from China are always inferior and will look careful in future before buying anything.

Bought as I needed to trim the base of a few doors in the house due to new carpets. Works as expected and came with 1 saw bit.
Plug and play, no faffing with instructions to understand which is always a bonus.

I have many hand tools in my workshop , various brands …Mikita , De-Walt etc ..all good solid tools , all with good solid price tags . Fine ! No problem, you get what you pay for …and an inaccurate job is THE most pointless and frustrating thing.
So to say this cheap jigsaw from Bosh is the equal to my De-Walt Jig seems to run against my previous statement ….but you know what …it really is .
It’s versatile , easy to use , feels great in the hand, can be controlled beautifully with les or more pressure on the trigger …it’s not bulky and feels like an extension of your hand …Sure it has draw backs (corded ) being one …and if you’re building a satellite , perhaps is accuracy is a tiny tiny bit off on pushed cuts ? But I’m not building satellites ….so for its price its incredibly good . My last bosh jigsaw lasted 4 years of solid use. So no lifetime tool ….but hey …it is what it is …
Inexpensive and good .

Great tool but you might want to look at the cordless
only used it once but it cut through 12mm MDF like a hot knife through butter, very easy to maneover, good precision.
Only regret is that I didn’t splurge on the wireless one (not that more expensive if you have the batteries)
But yeah, muuch better than the cheap (crap) one I had before
Compare with 10 years old jigsaws this model is a huge step forward in comfort, safety and low noise.
Great jigsaw for beginners
This is a very easy to use jigsaw. It’s lightweight and cuts smoothly when in use.
Felt safe and no worries about loosing fingers.
Great for a beginner. The option of adding a hoover to the back is a good idea.
It comes in a nice carry case that’s great for storing it and comes with a nice long power cord.
IT'S GREAT!!!
Had tried a different jigsaw from my local hardware store and had to take it back as it ground to a halt after cutting for six inches, it was complicated – so many switches to set and to get the blade in, well almost impossible. This Bosch Jigsaw is absolutely brilliant – managed nice curved corners on the wood that I was cutting, speed is regulated by how hard you pull the handle, no fussy settings to bother about – just pull the handle and cut. Great stuff! Thoroughly recommend this jigsaw.
I love Bosch stuff and, over the years, I’ve bought loads of it. And this is an exceptionally fine tool to add to my stable. It cuts brilliantly with unerring accuracy (far better than my handsaw skills!!) and saves hours and hours of exhausting effort. It is easy to control from slow to superfast and drives through wood and composite decking like the proverbial knife through butter. The ergonomic design is excellent, changing blades is a breeze and it has already well and truly paid for itself in just a few little jobs as I prepare for winters onslaught. Couldn’t be happier with it.

Simply works
Got this delivered within a few days of order.
What to say, it works. I’ve used to cut through 4 layers of 18mm ply with no hassle at all. I’ve used it to cut complex curves and with some fine details, no bother. It just works.
Noise is not excessive. Vibration is fine, though I wouldn’t call it low vibration but then I have no other reference.
The unit comes with one blade which is “coarse” with a fairly wide pitch. Definitely order a set of blades with narrower pitch to get finer cuts. The cutting speed slows, not painfully but then you get a way smoother cut surface.
Great little jigsaw
This little jigsaw has been so great .
Easy to use and reliable.
I used it for cutting laminate flooring planks and finished putting a laminate wood floor. Also used to cut a plywood .
great accuracy, fantastic value
great little jigsaw for most household builds and DIY work. Has dust exhaust option also. Only suggestion would be for Bosch to provide a spare blade. That would be icing on the cake

Worth the money
A really easy jigsaw to use comes with the plastic case, the front shield, and the extended line mark viewing attachment. Only comes with 1 saw blade and its just a generic blade, the blade storage tbh is a waste of design as it keeps falling off. Much better than my last Black n Decker one.
Don’t look any furthe
Made up with this, massive improvement on my old black and decker. So smooth and quiet. The blower function is great so you can see what your doing. Highly recommended
Very happy
I’m really happy with this zigsaw. Much better that my old black and decker. Cuts smoothly in a straight line, with variable speeds. Comes in strong case.
New addition to my Bosch family
Bosch has always been my first choose when it comes to hand tools. Bought this to do a lamination flooring and it was a perfect choose once again.

Study, nice quality feel Bosch item.
Did research. Happy with this, seems sturdy, used it a fair bit..perhaps not on ideal wood situations either..and copes..a blade did break..bought some others. Yes, seems ok..a nice quality feel..happy with this purchase for the price but havent tried others to really compare..but yep, would recommend.
Brilliant.
I’ve used my Bosch PST 700 E Compact Jigsaw for months now, and am so glad I bought it. Forget about Laser guided jigsaws, this compact saw cuts accurately without any fuss. More than pleased with my purchase.

Best Jigsaw I Have ever owned.
This Jigsaw is first class and I would Highly recommend. I have been using Jigsaws of many different makes and price over fifty years in a professional compacity. From very expensive to battery operated.
Cuts a clear straight line easily manoeuvres for intricate shapes and clears the dust on your line.
I do however believe that more blades should be supplied with the unit even if it needs a small price increase.
I have discarded three Jigsaws in the past two years all of supposed high quality and price.
This Jigsaw has already helped lay two real wood floors and build two large bedroom wardrobe complexes without a single problem the cuts were so accurate that the units which were built to a specification needed no adjustment what so ever saving me hours of work. (Not flat pack but custom built Of expensive and high quality materials). Well done Bosch.
Highly recommended
Well Bosch, you’ve gone and build the god of affordable jigsaws. The low vibration is great. You can also control the speed really well so you’re not just maxed out all the time meaning a better cut.
Only issue is that the lead could be slightly longer.

Great JigSaw
My old one lasted about 6 years and was used often but eventually it just stopped. I took it apart but nothing was obviously wrong so I expect one of the coils has burnt out (I was cutting 3×2 wood). I use Bosch T101B blades for most things (except metal).
Good product, sensible price.
I needed to cut quite a few panels of 11mm OSB3. My 30 year old jigsaw was on its last legs so I treated myself to a new one. This one does all I need, seems to be well made and is easy to use. Definitely recommend.

Wait till you cu
Looks much the same as other saws, has a few handy features quick release blade and so on. the real difference is when you cut. i have used a few cheaper saws but fitted with a proper blade, the saw is just a motor to move the blade after all. How foolish i was, how smooth the cut is, the low vibration, the actual feel while using. I’m trying to think of projects to start just to use it.
Very good jigsaw for the price
my old one hadnt broken, but was blowing sawdust upwards making it a pain to use. Really glad i bought this one as it has a feature to blow the dust away. Also the clear plastic guide is superb for getting accurate cuts.
wasnt sure i was going to like the adjustable speed by pressure, but its very useful.
minimal amount of vibration when using it too.

As a beginner with power tools, I wanted to buy ones which would be easy to use. I have sawn small pieces of wood to get used to the tool. This I found to be quite easy. I managed to use the saw once I got used to the weight and maneuverability. Easy to change the blades. Compact. Although tricky to put back into its case! I am looking forward to doing more projects with this as it adds to my DIY kit. I would recommend this product.

Another great tool from Bosch.
This is a great piece of equipment without being too expensive. I wanted a simple basic jigsaw for general cutting therefore I did not require a guide fence guide or speed control. This one did the job for me.

Great for odd jobs
it does the jobs in the house and in the garden very well. Makes light work of certain jobs.
Easy to use
Easy to change the blades
Handy storage case.
Good Basic Jigsaw
This saw was as expected. Good tool with speed that can be varied by pressure on the trigger. The dust collector works OK, remember to empty it often. There are 3 fixed positions for shoe angling the blade 0, 22.5 and 45 degrees. You will need a cross cut screw driver to adjust the shoe. My only gripe is that it has proved quite difficult at times to remove the blade. The unit I have requires a lot of jiggling to get the blade out. I would pay a little more for a better blade carrier. I would buy this model again.
Great Power Tool!
Excelllent bit of kit. Bought to sort out a decking frame and decking boards. Completed the job in double quick time with the aid of this power tool. Only criticism is that it comes with one blade for cutting wood – investing in more blades is sensible if you have a large project to complete!

My expectations about this jigsaw were not high as I’m used with top professional tools however I have changed my opinion. This is great quality…
Happy customer here
The Bosch PST 700 E arrived on time despite Amazon suggesting it might not. It comes in a handy green box that should protect the tool over time.
In the box you get the jigsaw itself, plus one blade (fast cut for wood) and a user manual. There’s space in the box for more blades that you have to purchase separately.
The tool fits both T shank and universal fitment blades, according to the manual, but of course if you buy Bosch or “Bosch compatible” then you should be okay.
Fitting the blade in is simple, although I found it slightly odd that in lifting the red movable mechanism, with the blade in place it didn’t return all the way down. I tried it with a few different blades that I had and the same thing, but in use it holds it fine and no blade has ever fallen out.
A word of caution before making your first cut: make sure the foot plate is centered and tight. Mine wasn’t and that would have resulted in a non-straight cut if you follow the marker arrow and don’t look at the blade that follows it.
I personally chose a corded jigsaw over a cordless one, because I considered that it won’t be in regular use and having a battery out of use for any extended periods of time is not good for its longevity. So, a cord was a requirement of mine. I think Bosch have been a bit stingy though and could have provided a longer power cable as this would avoid the need for extension cables in many scenarios.
The tool itself is simple to operate with the trigger being pressure sensitive so you don’t have to use it at maximum speed all the time. There’s a lock that holds it at maximum speed though, but not at slower speeds. The only other feature is the air blower, which I personally find useful. There is a vacuum attachment on the back of the tool, but despite owning a standard ‘outdoor builder’ type Nilfisk vacuum cleaner, it does not fit and so has so far proven useless to me.
I’ve not tried the footplate angle cutting yet, but have no reason to believe it won’t work. I would say that it would be better if it had two screws holding it in, rather than the single screw. Notches and indents aim to make sure the foot plate is aligned though, but as mentioned, out the box mine wasn’t.
All in all, for my light use so far, it’s a nice lightweight tool that’s easy to use. I like that it isn’t complicated and isn’t covered in buttons or settings or adjustable pendulum action, unlike other brands that — I think — overcomplicate matters. That said, is it worth twice the price of a generic branded jigsaw? Probably not, but I’d like to think that being a Bosch tool its quality and therefore longevity is superior.

Solid
Good weight. Strong enough motor. Excellent for the small jobs I have. It’s a Bosch so I expect itll last well into the future. Happy customer.
I bought this jigsaw to replace a trusty Black & Decker unit I’d had for more than 25yrs. It’s a heavy duty unit perfect for any DIY enthusiast (and perhaps for professional users too). My work tends to be fairly straightforward so I can’t comment on the saw’s versatility. Liked the storage case. Downsides? Well, I struggle to replace the blades from time to time but I’d have the same problem with any make or model of jigsaw no doubt.

Good, solid and comfortable to use
It’s a Bosch. You don’t need to say much more. It isn’t lightweight but that is an advantage. Very little vibration and the smooth start-up makes accurate starts very easy. The forward and back blade oscillation makes for a fast and smooth cutting action. The blade guard can be a bit fiddly because it has to be removed to change blades. The blade change itself is very easy. I wish I had replaced my old jigsaw a long time ago.
Lovely little machine
Brilliant. Really easy to fit blades: without any tools. Cuts really fast and clean. Miles better than my 20 year old black and decker: so glad I changed it. Love the variable speed control as it gives great accuracy

Wish i had bought one years ago
I bought this as i have a very heavy wardrobe that i need to get rid of. It did the job perfectly cutting it up in to easy to lift pieces, granted what I am using it for is not exactly heavy work but I cant fault it, especially for the price, the variable speed gives you total control, i would certainly recommend it.

Great little tool
Had a lot of wood to cut. Carried out the work successfully.
Great saw for beginners.
I got this to modify a unit I had to make it fit perfectly. Having never used an electric saw before it was very easy to use but naturally with a power tool you have to be careful. I felt it was easy to control but turning was a little difficult.
