It does the job
Firstly some reviewers say the velco does not keep the sandpaper on. I have not had that problem. However, I would purchase the attachments to get into small areas that the base multi sander has difficulty with.

Great piece of kit. Bought an extra 20 pack of Bosch sanding paper which fits on well. Would recommend.

Ottimo livello di prodotto per un utilizzo amatoriale e son contento che mi si incastri alla perfezione nella valigetta con un attrezzo che spesso mi pu capitare di utilizzare insieme. Per le batterie ho un avvitatore che nella valigetta originale ne ha due oltre al caricabatterie e mi trovo benissimo, si caricano in poco tempo (30′ circa) ed hanno una buona durata (3 ore circa).

As my headline says it is nice but the fact that you don’t get the battery or charger is a joke. Yes I know this is made clear and that the battery can be used in many other Bosch tools but I still think one is being slightly ripped off.

Nice and smooth
Nice easy to use sander, very comfortable in your hand. Only downside is that it runs the battery down quite quickly.

I didn’t realise how much difference cordless would make. It’s so much easier to use. I all ready have the 18v batteries for a drill and trimmer, so buying this device ‘dry’ makes it much better value. Recommended

Habe den Schleifer zum abschleifen einer Tischplatte genutzt. Er erfllt seinen Zweck. Natrlich wre man mit einem Exzentschleifer besser dran, fr solch ein Projekt. Da wre die Arbeit allg. schneller verrichtet. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden. Man sollte beachten, dass durch den oszillierenden Motor kleine Reifen entstehen knnen. Dies liegt in der Art, wie der Motor luft. Fr grosse Projekte ist er ungeeignet und man sollte eher zu etwas kabelgebundem greifen. Fr kleine Projekte ist er i.O. (kleines Zaungor abschleifen, Stuhl, etc.)

Gutes Gert fr Leute die unbedingt einen Akkuschleifer haben mchten. Kabelgebundene Gerte finde ich allerdings, bis auf das Kabel, handlicher.
Erwartungen nur teilweise erfüll
Der Multischleifer von Bosch hat nur zum Teil seinen Zweck erfllt. Er schleift soweit ganz gut, jedoch selbst mit dem grobkrnigen Schleifblatt nicht allzu schnell, man muss schon sehr oft drber fahren, um Unebenheiten zu gltten, das hatte ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas einfacher vorgestellt.
Ansonsten fr den Preis in Ordnung, jedoch wie gesagt nur dann fr grere Flchen geeignet, wenn man nur minimale Unebenheiten abschleifen mchte.

Ponceuse que j’ai pu avoir petit prix sans batterie car j’avais dj une perceuse 18 v avec 2 batteries 2,5 Ah (d’o le trs bon rapport qualit prix.)
Remplace une ponceuse du mme type filaire. Rendement quivalent. La batterie permet de travailler plus d’une demi-heure, pratique pour les petits travaux donc. Si vous devez poncer tous les volets de votre maison, prfrez une filaire…
A noter que si la ponceuse est lgre, une fois la batterie en place, elle devient plus lourde qu’une filaire de mme taille.

Beetje zwaarder en groter dan anders, maar dat betekent wel dat ie helemaal draadloos is. Ik had al andere Bosch producten, dus de 18V accu hoefde ik niet aan te schaffen. Handig!

Ein super handliches Gert . Akku hlt ca 1 1/2 Stunden habe in der Zeit einen Stuhl und eine komplette Euro Palette bearbeite
Achete 53 euros, c’est un excellent rapport qualit-prix pour cette petite ponceuse sans fil.
Mme avec un lot de disques bas prix, elle ponce et rogne le bois sans aucun problme.
La qualit de l’aspiration est plutt bonne : trs peu de poussire s’chappe, donc utilisable en intrieur sans aucun problme. Le petit rservoir se dmonte facilement, ainsi que le filtre l’intrieur, donc il est trs facile de vider la poussire.
Et trs grande compatibilit de batteries malgr sa taille rduite :
– OK avec les batteries 1.5Ah de 1re gnration (il reste tout juste 1 ou 2mm de jeu)
– OK avec les batteries 2.5Ah de nouvelle gnration
– les grosses batteries de 6.0Ah ne passent pas par contre, dommage, mais c’tait prvisible et compte-tenu de l’autonomie avec les 2.5Ah, ce n’est pas un problme
– je n’en ai pas, mais il est possible que les batteries de 4.0Ah passent, tester …

I was going to buy a cheap, corded sander until I saw this Bosch, which takes the batteries from my Bosch drill, so saving money on further batteries and charger. It works really well, and I’ve had an hour of use from one charge, after which it’s probably worth taking a break to avoid white-finger, although the vibrations are not too bad at all.
I’ve used it a fair bit, and I like that fact that I can still ‘feel’ the wood as I’m working: Another reviewer wished it would remove wood faster, but I’m very happy with a more gradual approach, giving more control and subtlety to the work.I’ve also not had any issues with the pads not sticking to the velcro, as experienced by some others. One wonders whether they have perhaps been overenthusiastic, and sanded down through the pad to the velcro maybe?
The pads are not cheap, and I may try non-branded ones down the line, assuming I can find some to fit. But that said, I have found them lasting longer than I expected: I sanded the finish from a three-drawer bedside cabinet ready for painting, and only used a single pad, which still had some life in it.
The dust-collector also works well, although I’ve worked outside enjoying the nice weather so far. But I would be happy to use it indoors knowing that the room wold not be covered in sawdust after working. Just remember to knock out the collector from time to time.
I have no reservations in recommending this device, it is a fine sander, not overly loud, no cable to get in the way, and allows subtle sanding, even into corners and along curved edges without being over-zealous!

Great sander, worth getting
Worked well and produced great results. The vacuum kept falling off so I had to use other hand to hold it on but wasn’t too big an inconvenience. The vacuum prevented almost all the dust, great! Love that the battery can be used on multiple Bosch products meaning you can save money and space.

Product works well although it is much chunkier and heavier than the smaller version. On the other hand it does feel a lot more robust.
Praktischer Schleifer mit kleinen Mankos
Der Schleifer ist handlich und lasst sich gut bedienen, die Akkuleistung ist ausreichend. Zwei kleine Mankos: 1. Aufgrund der Gre kommt der Schleifer nicht in alle Ecken, wie bspw. ein Deltaschleifer. 2. Gibt es keine Regulationsstufen der Power.
Already had 2 batteries with a drill. Best thing is the absence of a power lead and being independent of power sockets, and extension leads. Have used it a few times and does what is expected of it, battery looks to last quite well. Dust extractor quite good and works well on doors and other large surfaces, collector needs emptying often for best results.

Alles in allem zufrieden, aber das beschriebene Problem mit dem sich lsenden Klett, kann ich verstehen.
Es ist zwar noch nicht passiert, aber man muss schon sehr vorsichtig sein an der Spitze

Ich hatte bereits den Bosch Multischleifer mit dem eingebauten Akku. Das Arbeiten damit war super, nur das Laden in dem dazugehrigen Ladegert war schwierig. da sich die Steckverbindung immer mit Schleifstaub gefllt hat und damit der Ladevorgang fters schief ging. Mit dem Akku, den ich auch fr meinen Akkuschrauber und die Stichsge verwende ist das Produkt super in der Handhabung und das leichte Mehrgewicht ist zu Gunsten der greren Akkukapazitt und der besseren Handhabung beim Laden verschmerzbar.
Bosch-typisch gut gemach
Bin zufrieden. Das Gert arbeitet, wie es soll. Liegt, wie ich finde, beim Arbeiten auch gut in der Hand.

Fr ambitionierte Hobbyhandwerker vollkommen ausreichend.

Hatte den PSM 18 jetzt schon in verschiedenen Bereichen im Einsatz und er berzeugt mit seiner Leistung und der Ausdauer mit einem 2,5er Akku. Schleifmittel von anderen Herstellern passen auch ganz gut.
Fr den Preis unschlagbar.
Ausganssituation:
Ich besitze ein groes leistungsstarkes kabelgebundenes Gert mit rundem Exzenterschleifteller von Bosch. Fr kraftvolle Arbeiten ist dies meine erste Wahl. Allerdings erzeugt dieses trotz Absaugung beim Arbeiten auch immer wahre Staubwolken. Fr kleine Arbeiten brauchte ich daher ein wieder ein zweites kleines Gert, da mein Bosch PRIO Lithium-Ion leider den Akku-Tod gestorben ist. Bei dem Multischleifer PSM 18 LI kann ich meine greren Bestnde an Schleifpapier aufbrauchen, was mit eine Kaufentscheidung war. Auerdem besitze ich noch einen 9 Jahre alten Bosch PSR 18 LI-2 Akkubohrschrauber mit zwei Akkus, die bis heute tadellos funktionieren.
Handhabung:
Das Gert liegt sehr gut in der Hand, der Motor ist sehr krftig und trotzdem relativ leise. Fr kleine Schnheitsreparaturen ist das Gert perfekt. Besonders das Bosch Schleifvlies mchte ich jedem ans Herz legen, der schleifarbeiten mit Holz durchfhrt und zum Schluss ein tadelloses Finish hinbekommen mchte. Hier versagt feines Schleifpapier, das Vlies verstopft jedoch wegen der groen Hohlrume nicht. Durch den Auffangbehlter bleibt die Arbeitsstelle in einem ertrglichen Zustand, natrlich muss man danach immer reinigen, besonders wenn man Holz schleift. Staubfrei wird kein Gert arbeiten, egal was die Werbung behauptet.
Das Schleifergebnis war bis jetzt immer tadellos. Das Gert funktioniert deutlich besser als mein alter Bosch PRIO Lithium-Ion Multischleifer.
Besonders elegant ist das Akku-System, dass die Nutzung mehrerer kompatibler Gerte mit wenigen Akkus ermglicht.
Zur Beachtung:
Einige schreiben das ihr Gert nach relativ kurzer Zeit defekt war. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass der kleine Scheifzwerg nicht fr groe Arbeiten ausgelegt ist, das Gert auch im Zusammenspiel mit dem Auffangbehlter meines Erachtens leichter berhitzen kann. Hierfr gibt es grere grozgiger dimensionierte Gerte. Auch darf man das Gert whrend des Schleifens nicht zu fest gegen den zu schleifenden Gegenstand (z.B. Parkettboden) pressen. Der Kleine Motor kommt da schnell an seine Grenzen und berhitzt.
Fazit:
Alles im Allem ein sehr ordentliches Gert, einfach Handhabung und perfektes Ergebnis.
Eine Bemerkung and die lieben Freunde von BOSCH”:
Die Ausfhrung ohne Akku” wurde in einem liederlichen Pappkarton geliefert. Die Verpackungsknstler” bei BOSCH falten vermutlich erst den Karton, schieben dann das Gert mit der Spitze nach unten zuerst in die Aussparung. Dabei sind sie bei einem Gert mit der Spitze im Pappboden stecken geblieben und haben die Klettfolie umgelegt. Daher habe ich mir ein zweites Gert bestellt. Bei beiden Gerten ist vermutlich der Transport nicht ideal gewesen und hat deutliche Spuren hinterlassen. Die Spitze ist seitlich durch die Verpackung gestoen, die gefalteten Kartons haben auf der Oberflche des Gertes und der Gummierung deutliche Spuren hinterlassen. Alles Dinge die nicht sein mssen. Falls Ihr keine Idee habt wie man das besser machen kann, ich bin gerne behilflich.
Dennoch bleibt es ein 5-Sterne Produkt. Auch wenn mir absolut unbegreiflich ist, warum die Erstschdigung des Neugertes schon durch den Hersteller geschieht.
Ebenso wre es praktisch, wenn man nicht nur den Koffer fr die Variante Gert + Ladegert und Akku erwerben knnte. Entweder den Koffer mit einem Einsatz fr Nur Gert” + sinnvollem Stauraum, oder kleinerer Koffer fr Nur Gert” (das wrde ich bevorzugen)

Bis jetzt tut das Gert genau das, was es tun soll. Scheint sehr gut verarbeitet zu sein. Die Schleifscheiben gibt es auch sehr gnstig von anderen Herstellern und ist mit vielen 18 Volt Bosch Akkus kompatibel.

Das Teilchen ist wirklich schn kompakt und macht einen robusten Eindruck ,lediglich der Akku ist am Anfang bei der Handhabung des Gertes etwas gewhnungsbedrftig .Ein Kaufgrund war fr mich auch das Bosch-Akku-System ,womit ich meine Gerte fast alle mit einer Akkusorte betreiben kann .

Compact and battery lasts about 2 hours of continuous use
An amazing little sander. Used it to prepare garden furniture for restaining. Cut the time by 90% and gets in to all the corners. The collection bucket fills quickly but with the option to attach a vacuum cleaner, what a bonus.
Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich das Ding gar nicht gebraucht. Bin halt ein Werkzeug Freak und da ich bereits einige andere Produkte von der selben Linie habe, habe dieses Teil auch sofort kaufen mssen. Was ich sehr praktisch finde ist der Staubfnger und die Tatsache, dass ich den gleichen Akku benutzen kann. Natrlich ohne Kabel arbeiten zu knnen macht viel mehr spa.
Funktioniert prima
Im Paket fehlten leider die angegebenen passenden Schleifpapiere dazu, so dass wir rgerlicherweise nicht direkt loslegen konnten, (dann bitte nicht wie angegeben den Hersteller kontaktieren, sondern ber Amazon). Wir haben netterweise einen Gutschein erhalten. Wir die fehlenden Schleifpapiere dann extra gekauft. Die Maschine kam einsatzbereit, daher dauerte es ,bis wir das gute Stck dann mal wieder aufladen mussten, dabei stellten wir leider fest, dass nur ein Aufladekabel fr englische Steckdosen enthalten ist, also kann die Maschine nun wieder nicht sofort genutzt werden…bin gespannt, ob wir nun noch einen deutschen Stecker dazu erhalten!? Also ansonsten wren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Maschine. Wir haben bis jetzt eine Holzdecke angeschliffen. Sie tat gut ihren Dienst und durch die Absaugfunktion ist auch gut.

Dieses Werzeug ist sein Geld wirklich wert!
Schleifen war nie meine Lieblingsbeschftigung, aber jetzt konnte ich feststellen, dass ich wohl immer nur das falsche Gert (i.d.R. ein Multifunktionsgert) verwendet habe. Der PSM 18 LI liegt sehr gut in der (meiner) Hand und ich kann das Gert gut kontrollieren.
Mit dem 18 V Akku verfgt der Schleifer ber genug Kraft, um auch grobe Unebenheiten schnell anzugleichen.
Da ich schon einige Gerte aus der 18V Familie nutze, war dieses Teil irgendwann fllig.
Liegt gut in der Hand, fhlt sich wertig an und hat echt Kraft, fr eine Akku-Maschine.
Der Auffang-Behlter lsst sich tatschlich schwer ffnen, aber man muss sich nur berwinden, ein wenig mehr Kraft einzusetzen, dann ist es kein Problem.
Ein paar Probe-Schliffe gemacht, gefhlt sind 95 % der Spne im Behlter gelandet.
Das Teil werde ich bedenkenlos auch in der Wohnung einsetzen.

Tolles Tool!
Wir hatten die Tapeten in unserem Ezimmer abgenommen und mussten die Unebenheiten, welche durch Farbreste geblieben sind, abschleifen.
Mit dem PSM 18 hatten wir damit keine Probleme, der Akku hat gut gehalten auch das Ergebnis war super! Danach konnten wir den Kalkputz auftragen und es waren kaum noch Unebenheiten brig!

Excellent, but very much hoping this one will last longer than the last one we had to return .
Das gilt leider auch fr Dinge die bei der Kabelversion nicht gut sind. Hier ist in erster Linie das Staubdistributionssystem gemeint, von Bosch auch als Staubfilter bezeichnet. Das Schleifen mit dem Teil ist immer eine groe Sauerei. Im Vergleich zum Kabelmodell leidet die Handlichkeit, denn der Akku sitzt unter dem Griff, der damit prakitsch nutzlos wird. Halten und fhren muss man daher mit dem Kopf des PSM. Das geht aber auch ganz vernnftig. Das Teil ist nicht perfekt, aber es tut seine Arbeit und die Befreiung vom Kabel macht es viel universeller einsetzbar.

Utilisation rgulire depuis l’achat, rien redire. Elle fait le travail. Agrablement surpris par la puissance par rapport une filaire.
Je l’ai prise principalement car j’ai les autres outils de la gamme, donc pour le ct batterie c’est vraiment super pratique.

Das Gert liegt recht gut in der Hand und ist verhltnismig vibrationsarm. Der Filter ist nett aber recht schnell voll / zu gesetzt. Ein Staubsaugeranschluss ist die bessere Wahl fr grere Aufgaben. Da wren ein paar Adapter im Lieferumfang angebracht. Das Klett hlt super und der schnelle werkzeuglose Umbau der Schleifplatte ist gelungen. Alles in allen ein gutes Produkt.

Maybe that is my bad with thinking that you can just keep sanding to get a tiny bit more wood off but it seems sanding is only ever about taking the very top layer off so that you can re-do the paintwork or similar.

Easy to use, and effective with a variety of easy fit velcro sandpaper grades. Handy to use same battery as range of other tools. My only gripe is that the so called dust trap on the back clogs up very quickly and doesn’t do much of a job. If dust is a problem best to connect vacuum cleaner.
