Upgraded from the older model which I think was better for temp control but would still buy this one again if needed.
Would highly recommend this Bosch toaster. It has taken centre stage on my worktop and goes with the Bosch kettle purchased last year. It’s powerful and easy to clean.

Wonderful toaster – easy to set level of toasting required and easy to clear the crumbs and clean. Toast is evenly browned and delicious, the warmer rack is also handy for items too big to fit in the toaster.
It works well with a pop up warming rack for croissants etc. Nice addition of cable storage underneath the toaster to keep a minimal look.
Does the job well, I’m sure there are better toasters out there for ‘even browning’, but probably none that look this good.

early every other toaster will have the traditional elements that these days can be slow and dry the bread out before its brown. This stylish toaster has rods instead and although it’s not super fast it is quicker and better than any I have had in the past. I have just changed all my accessories in the kitchen to white so this is my second purchase of the Bosch in black it is stylish too! The white one is bright white and not off white, it’s beautiful! Also a good price on Amazon!
You do get what you pay for though, the digital timer feature will show you how far along the job it is and the defrost functionality is very useful.

Needed a new toaster…..looked at loads and went for this expensive Bosch after reading some reviews. What do you need to know, well it toasts just fine ,using a ‘electric bar’ style element, instead of the traditional zig zag hot wire design, which is found in just about ever toaster on the plant.
Some may find the heat setting buttons 1- 5 a bit faffy ……no rotary resister knob to set heat.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase.
Attractively designed and reasonably effective device, I’ve only used this with home-baked bread and although I’ve had a few unevenly browned slices, I suspect that’s mostly down to the moisture content of the bread being a bit uneven. It seems reasonably sturdy and the heating elements ought to be more robust than the wire filaments in most toasters so I’m hopeful this will have a longer life than most.
Again a very good product from Bosh, toasts evenly with a good choice of settings.

But would be expensive at full price, but we purchased when it was on offer to match our Styline kettle.
Toasting not really even and the thing is wide and ugly. However, it is one of the only toasters on the market which accommodates UK size slices. I like the fact that it’s using quartz lamps as opposed to the 100 year old filaments – hopefully it will provide reliability. Now someone tell me why I could only find one model which gives the option to cook only one toast? (And it had too many other flaws to be on my shortlist.) Why do we have to waste 50% of the energy every morning? Multiply this by 60 million people…

Very well made stylish toaster. The mechanism seems really solid and smooth when you push the bread down. But what about the toast? My son says it is the best toast he has ever had. Which must be good praise as our previous toaster was a Siemens by Porsche Design toaster at 3 times the price.
After ploughing through various reviews, I am so glad I chose this one. Yes, Warburtons bread fits perfectly. Toasts pretty evenly, no you are not going to get a toaster that toasts exactly the same colour all over. It’s a lovely looking design and the finish looks good. The fingerprints don’t bother me (which I thought they would), as it’s on a worktop under a cupboard with lighting, so I can’t see any fingerprints. Never thought I had a use for a warming rack, but I have been missing out, as croissants and pain au chocolat are delicious, and take a fraction of the time than in the oven.Well worth paying extra, the cheaper toasters are definitely false economy. This is very sturdy and feels like it should last years. Had it about a month now with no problems. Delivery, as always, excelle
We have had this toaster for a month now no problems it works very well , I think the popup section would be usefull for re-heating larger items, so far it’s turned out to be a good buy.
This is a good looking robust toaster. Had a 120 quid Dualit toaster that was rubbish, replaced it with a10 quid toaster that was better but this toaster gives a consistent browning on both sides with most types of bread. However its not perfect but its the best Ive tried
Looks good especially with matching Bosch kettle. Not long enough for some breads but I cut naans and pittas in half before toasting. Easy to empty crumb tray.
Bought this for my mum as a Christmas present. She has told me a couple of times now that this makes the most evenly toasted bread she has ever had. What more can you ask of a toaster.
Happy enough! The only thing is that the bread is not getting tosted the same way, in all the surface…
Only negative is you have to remember to switch it off after toasting, or the LED stays on the toaster.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Well built and easy to use. Only annoyance is the power switch, you have to remember to turn it on and off but is a good safety feature.

This is a very good toaster simple controls you have four settings no guess work with the setting. I have had some bad toesters but the Bosch made in germany is the best toaster I have ever had.

Works beautifully! The finest toaster I have ever used. This toaster has quartz elements which, I believe, are much more energy efficient than the standard wires.
Setting 5 cooked a fish finger!!! Can’t recommend it though as there was spattering and the fish juice is now in the tray. Impressive toaster though. Just wish I could afford the kettle, which my family have.

I love this toaster. After reading the reviews, which seemed good, I decided to order it to go in my new kitchen I am very pleased with it. It has a button system to chose how much to toast your bread, which is saved even if you power off/on. I especially like that you can chose half settings 1/2, 2/3 etc. It looks very stylish and is easy to clean. Would certainly recommend and very pleased with my purchase 🙂
Excellent – best toaster I have bought – the first to toast evenly on both sides. Not too sure about the digital toasting control – one more thing to go wrong, perhaps. But it’s an excellent toaster.

We have had a few toasters and they either only toast half a slice or break very quickly!! Well this Bosch one still works great after 2 years and is very good at toasting a full slice with decent controls for adjusting how you like your toast. If you wonder why it costs more then that is because this has a proper glass tube element inside and not a cheap wire mesh element.
Top marks for this Bosch TAT8613 skyline Black Toaster. Dose the job you want it to do and the price is very good too.

Works very well. Only pity is, that you can’t put bigger slices in the toaster, but no worry, then you cut the slices of bread in two.

Absolutely worth the extra cost to have this toaster and it produces consistent results. The second load comes out the same as the first whereas I found the wire version always try to burn the second load unless carefully watched.
We bought this and the matching kettle and they both look great.
It is much wider that the Siemens Porsche toaster it replaced but produces better toast that our old toaster and we are now used to the chunky looks.

Extremely well made toaster and am very pleased with it. Having searched for a product of quality for some weeks I was surprised by the difficulty particularly for such an everyday appliance There are plenty of throw-away toasters in all the major supermarkets but few that are worth buying
This toaster lives up to the expected Bosch quality and looks smart. It has push button selectivity for the desired time to toast the bread and boasts halogen elements instead of the usual wired elements. According to the hype this is meant to provide more even browning of the bread but in practice the results are no better than any other toaster I’ve used!
At the end of the day it’s a toaster, nothing more and nothing less. It is quite stylish however and gives an appearance of quality. The product is slightly larger than many traditionally styled toasters so if work top space is at a premium be warned!
Looks Cool we had it in White to match our Bosch Kettle Excellent! Handy rack for charming rolls etc!!! All in all a good buy,only probably a bit large for some people!?
Provided nicely tanned toast with minimum of fuss. Purchased to match Bosch Kettle. Tends to be slightly slow but being retired I am in no great hurry.
This is a nice looking toaster which matches our kettle perfectly. The elements are, of course, not the thin wire type, which was a factor in my purchase.
In practice it works well, with acceptably even browning for standard bread.
I was rather sick and tired of cheapo, ugly toasters that ended up in landfill as soon as the warranty had expired. I also wanted something that looked a bit more sophisticated in my smart new kitchen. After dismissing the Dualit range (just too expensive, and reviews very mixed to say the least) I settled on this Bosch.
Only had it a week or two but I seems to be rather typically Bosch: You realise it’s virtues as time goes by. It takes quite thick bread and toasts well. Haven’t noticed any unevenness as mentioned by other reviewers but perhaps I’m just comparing it to my previous inferior models. I find it very easy to use and actually quite like the on/off switch. It makes it easy to switch off fast when any bread gets a bit stuck and needs a helping hand.
Another positive is that the outside stays cool in use, unlike some of the previous toasters I’ve owned. You might want to consider this if you have children, for example.
Overall, pleased with this purchase but I’m a bit of a fan of Bosch stuff generally. I have a Bosch Max washing machine that’s still going strong after 16 years and had a dishwasher that did 14 years. You know what you’re getting generally with this make – a bit more cost but reliable quality. I wouldn’t extend this to their irons btw: My Bosch iron was a bit rubbish and only lasted a couple of years..back to a Tefal on this front!

Bought this to go with the kettle, great little toaster, pity it isn’t a four slice one and you also have to remember to switch it off after the toast has popped up but that’s no hassle
Does a great job of toasting but still not a 100% due to arrangement of elements inside. Better than most others though and looks good too. Bosch could have designed one that toasts EVENLY both sides …. this doesn’t but is close enough.
Gorgeous isn’t something I would normally say about a toaster but this Bosch item is great – really lovely looking addition to my kitchen plus it matches my also gorgeous Bosch kettle 🙂
We bought this to match the kettle and with the reviews not brilliant we risked it.
I can see the points that have been made about variable toasting beng only one bar of halogen and then reflective but it has not really bothered us as not toast perfectionist – it does pittas and bagels well and takes a surprsingly big slice.
My bug bear would be that when designing a produce more thguht should have gone into where crumbs land and sit and diffuclt to clean which can spoil the look of what is a stunning looking toaster.
I would certainly buy again if in as et with the kettle but not sure as a stand alone toaster the price is worth it.
Good toaster but a bit pricy for what you get. I have had better in the past by they have stopped making them, so this is the best I could find on the market today.

Has the Bosch quality, well built, looks quality.
it is not like any conventional toaster, which uses the heating coil as the heating element, which does not have uniform distribution of heat. with quartz elements and mirror heating, it achieves even toasting.
Cleaning is easy, especially with the provision of the lower tray.
Warming rack on top is useful.

This Bosch one uses three unique quartz tubes instead of traditional mesh system to heat. The idea is good and the result is excellent. Highly recommended if you are looking for something special with a better performance.
