Gain / Input Sensitivity
The “Gain†or “Input Sensitivity†selectors on an amplifier are not to be mistaken for a volume setting. This setting allows users to match the gain from the source unit.
To set these selectors properly, you must “defeat†any processing on your source unit. In other words, make sure Bass, Treble, and Subwoofer levels are set to “0†on your source unit before adjusting the gain or input sensitivity selector on your amplifier.

Easy to install and sounds great. Better then the one I had. Once installed it did not get hot or over heat.

Great all around amp. Puts out good sound for multiple speakers. I personally ran a Chanel to both of my door speakers. And bridged the other two for a pioneer 12inch sub. Puts out great sound and thundering bass would highly recommend for advanced aftermarket setup

Very pleased with this product. LEDs do not look cheap. Defiantly not a beginner amplifier. Would recommend anyone who is trying to put subwoofers and speakers on the amplifier.

If you’re looking to upgrade a factory stereo or if you’re wanting to disturb your neighbors (lol) then Boss can do it, and at a price that’s very reasonable.
I have just installed a new system in my Silverado. It starts with the Boss Head Unit- 508UAB , then the Boss 7 band Equalizer -AVA1210. The Boss PF1800 Amp powers my Boss NX654 door speakers and my Boss P69.4C rear speakers. I have the Boss PT1000 Amp driving my 2 Boss SLR8 Dual voice coil subs. This system sounds PHENOMENAL in my truck !!! It’s crystal clear at ANY volume and it puts me in the ” Front Row of the concert ” so to speak !
My advise is this : Regardless of what Boss System you might purchase, always use the thickest gauge wire possible for the entire system, make sure you have a VERY GOOD GROUND and follow the wiring diagrams provided with your components. I have ZERO engine noise and a system that is nothing short of AWESOME !
I highly recommend any and all Boss Audio products to everyone. From a basic system to a competition system you’re going to love it and it won’t cost you a fortune !
