Meine heute 17 und 14 Jahre alten Shne haben schon im jngsten alter damit gespielt,heute benutzen es meine 6 und 4 Jahre alten Shne und sie Spielzeuge schauen aus wie neu!
So bekommt man auch hier die gewohnte Qualitt und die tadellose Verarbeitung,welche man von der Marke kennt.
Das Produkt erweitert unsere schon vorhanden Brio Sets gut und meine Shne haben viel Freude daran.

Nous avons command ce train pour les 5 ans de mon fils et nous en sommes vraiment trs content. Tout est qualitatif, il y a plein de petits dtails.
Depuis nous avons rachet des rails et accessoires de la mme marque car il ne s arrt plus de jouer.
On peut enregistrer la voix de l enfant sur la tablette pour l entendre quand le train passe sous les bornes

The smart tech train set is exactly as I hoped. It works for about a day of light play on a set of normal batteries.
I would say that might be under powered but seen as the normal battery powered trains far exceed expectations I think this one is closer to expected.
It works great and for one month it has only missed a smart tunnel signal once.
I thought by the reviews that these might be poor and hit and miss with the signals but they work fine until the battery is low and the train turns the receiver off and turns it’s lights to red, which is after hours of play. Maybe if it was going constantly it might be a few hours. A pack of loads of normal batteries is cheap and every parent will be familiar with how many batteries get used up by their toys.
I will say I have not tested rechargeable batteries but take it from what Brio say that they are no good for this due to the power needed so avoid rechargeable batteries.

This has been a fantastic present. So entertaining to my 2 1/2 year old grandson who enjoys moving the tunnels around and changing direction Of the train. Lovely sounds. Highly recommended!

We bought this for our grandson’s 2nd birthday and it didnt take him long to work out the way it worked. He absolutely loves it and the best thing is we can add different things to keen his interest. Great product well done Brio!

It is such a nice and fun toy!! My son loved recording his voice!! Unfortunately the On button is a bit hard to press, we first thought that it wasn’t working but it turned out to be hard to press…

I have kids in their 30s and late 20s and a teenager. All of them played with Brio, which whilst expensive, has the ability to stand the toughest of abuse and still be playable many years later. In fact, the set that my 14 year old played with when he was little, came from his older brothers and sisters and had dozens of pieces of track and all manner of accessories. We sent that set to a hospital for sick children in Russia, where my wife’s nephew was being treated. This set will be a present for my grand-nephew who is 3 years old. That’s the recommended age for this Brio set, but I have never limited my kids by what the average kid does and nor should you.
I’ve listed electronic sounds as a plus and a negative. That’s partly because I can see the attraction of in-built sounds and recording your own, but I still believe that imagination and creativity are diminished when children are given the sounds. As I said, the fact that you can record your own sounds is great. I could see it being used by grandparents or estranged parents to send loving messages to their little ones, which I think would be super.
There are many pieces in this set (37 in total) and i am little disappointed in the use of plastic because it sort of goes against what Brio always stood for. However, time moves on and I can see why they’ve done it. My only concern that they’ve lost a little authenticity by doing it. Plastic comes from crude oil, which isn’t exactly the most environmentally friendly or ecologically sound message to send to the middle class eco-warriors who can afford this set. My I urge all purchasers of this set that when your family has finished with it that you donate it to a children’s home, hospital or to someone who will get some enjoyment and use out of it. My 4 older kids loved Brio, my teenage son loved it, and I loved it because I could see the thrill on everyone’s faces when they used to respond to “Let’s get the Brio out!”

This is a perfect starter set as it has everything you need to make a complete track circuit and the trains to run on it. It requires no batteries or winding up and the trains and carriages run nicely along the tracks.

The train is operated with two AA batteries which are not included.Once you add the batteries, getting the train running smoothly across the tracks is easy with buttons to go forward, stop and reverse at the top of the train. The train has “smart ” features an dinteracts with 8 of the items the five tunnels and the destinations to perform actions. Each tunnel and destination activates different sounds, lights and motion functions along the way.
Sturdy and easy toputtogetherwith instructions provided. The app was very easy to set up and use(changes sounds). This set is good for the imagination , social skills, and development.

The track layout will form a figure of 8 and the layout measures 1040 x 485mm according to the box. Measured and track when complete measures 41 inches long by 18 inches wide.
The train is powered by two AAA batteries which are put into the back of the engine into a screw secured compartment. The top of the train has buttons to switch on and off, move forward and backwards and to interact such as recording voices and your own train sounds by way of the interactive red i button. Own voice announcements and sounds can be recorded to customise sound effects.
The big thing with this set is the technology which includes tunnels with different sound effects when the train goes under them and also some tunnels which can stop the train and also reverse the train, the tunnels can be moved around the track and taken off easily as they are free standing.
The downloadable app which is the Brio Smart tech, allows the train to be controlled by Bluetooth technology, the tunnels to be customised in functionality with different sound effects and the ability to record your own voice announcements and train noises! The fact that this set can be controlled by your smart phone or tablet doesn’t seem to be really emphasised by the seller which i think is a mistake as to me, it is one of the best parts of the set. On the smartphone you can download an app called BRIO Smart Tech Sound (I downloaded via google) and from the app you can change the sounds on each individual tunnel/stations and even control the trains movement.
I think this is all so clever and you can see from one of my images that built into the tunnels is a microchip which is what the train reacts to when approaching…each tunnel has a different action…i.e. stop, reverse, fix and other. All of these can be customised.
The track is reversible which we didn’t realise at first and we had some difficulty getting the track together, but when realised it was easy to put together.
The set seems quite robust but am not sure if it would be suitable for 3 year olds, I feel that it would need an adult to help set up and to help with the enjoyment, which isn’t an issue because I can guarantee the adults will love this set as much as the children!
