Very quiet and easy to fi
This repaced a door closer that i hadup foor about 20 years. The old one was chain driven and noisy. The new one uses atoothed rubber belt and is almost silent.

Quite moter fairly easy to install
Bought this when it was temporarily reduced in price making it a good buy. Very quite in operation and fairly easy to fit. It was a replacement for another chamberlain chain driven door opener which I got from Wickes 25 + years ago which finally gave up the ghost. My only compalint is getting hold of some additional remote controllers as they are very hard to source. I had hoped my old remote controllers would have done the job bit they work on a differant freqency.

Initially very good but failed out of Warranty.
This was a very good replacement. Initially it worked very well but it’s not a long lasting item. It is functional now and it’s failed after three years.

The instructions could be more succinct, spent 5 minutes trying to slot the guide sections into each other before finding that two slides were at either end to provide an overlap. Otherwise I’m delighted with the unit, it’s performance and it’s init price

Great piece of kit though took a little figuring out to install by provided instructions. Been in place a week and entirely satisfied with its performance. Very quiet .

This is a great product, easy to assemble and install, and has been a reliable workhorse with no issues at all so far.
To make it more reliable I also got the Chamberlain Door Handle Quick release: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EYYAHJ2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share which is not designed for this assembly but works well if the cable is zip ties to the V arm connecting the door assembly to the track, I would recommend that if you already have a lock handle and don’t want to drill extra holes or install a new key on your door.

Great electric garage opener but very poor instructions
Once assembled, this is a great machine. However, it is very difficult to build as the instructions are very poor. You also do not get an emergency pull to use on the outside of the garage and therefore have to purchase one at an extra cost. In fact, everything comes at an extra cost – for example, the canopy arm, the extension for the app, sensors and wireless keypad. However, now that we eventually got this together, I’m very impressed. It’s very quiet and a joy in the wild weather to not have to get out the car to lock the garage.

El motor es relativamente fcil de instalar, especialmente si has instalado uno antes porque todos son similares. La informacin que trae est solo en ingls y adems no es nada intuitiva (en otras palabras, es muy mejorable).

Wired & connected through a switched fuse i fitted in the garage & all installed solidly by mounting on beams running across ceiling for real support. I wouldn’t trust fixing to plasterboard with plasterboard fixings only as the motor has a tough job pulling & pushing the garage door open & closed. You can actually see the support arm flexing under the strain. Easy set up of opening & closing limits & then done.
Great item that works well & has done so far for over a year. Only thing negative & is not a biggie is that it could be a little faster opening & closing. 18 seconds at the moment but seems longer sometimes. Like i said…not a biggie. 😉

Muy fcil de calibrar y silencioso a la hora de operar al no llevar cadena. La puerta es abatible y abre y cierra sin problemas ajustando a la perfeccin. Los mandos tienen un gran alcance y el acabado en general es bastante bueno.

Fitted to double garage door . Took a few hours but simple enough and works without any issues at all. More flimsy than similar premium products but appears to do the same once installed . Can not fault at this price.

Good product but hanging brackets are poor, you need to purchase some angle and nuts and bolts for extra bracketry. Instructions not good and video on Internet over simplifies installation. Depending on your particular garage allow at least 4 to 5 hours if installing alone. Once installed works well.

Fantastic, ordered another one a while back and love it – had to get another one for my own garage. such a quiet and quick operation, good coverage with keyfobs. I have ordered another keyfob for the sun visor (one with a clip) as I am reluctant to attached the remote to my keyring and have it in my pocket in case it goes off and I don’t know the door has opened as its so quiet. Its a shame there is no clip/holder for the fob but grrat otherwise!!

Would recommend watching utube tutorials for handy tips and getting assembly done in the correct sequence. A good half day to put up .and well worth it !!!

I really do want to squirt oil all over the wheels, I know I shouldn’t because all that will happen is dust and dirt will stick to the oil and act as a grinding paste and ultimately make it worse. Little bit squeaky but to be expected, it’s the door that squeaks so not fair to moan about it. A great piece of kit which i wouldn’t hesitate buying agai

Smooth operato
Installed in conjunction with a canopy arm. Quiet operation and installed by myself fairly easily although took a bit longer. Power lead way too short to reach a standard height socket but doubt any garages have a socket fitted 7ft up in the middle but that’s why they invented extension leads.

Fitted to our retractable Hormann single garage. Installation took two of us about 3.5 hours in all (including additional electrics work to run a new spur and power socket up to beams where the unit is fitted). Instructions are fantastic and there is both text description and diagram for all steps. You can, however, go off the diagrams almost exclusively – they are so helpfully set out.
The unit itself is just great. Very sturdy and well-made. Everything worked straight away with no hassle. Smooth and speedy operation. Superbly easy to program – a few button presses to set the top and bottom positions and a simple two press to pair any wireless devices like the remotes.

I bought the Chamberlain Comfort to replace a Doortronic Lift King which was absolute rubbish.. with matching customer service. The Chamberlain was easy to build and install. It operates my Henderson double up and over garage door with ease and is extremely quiet. Easy to follow instructions for programming the unit and the light is bright enough to illuminate my garage. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

I had 2 bolts missing but pulled them off something else. Works fine. If I had to start from scratch, knowing what I am doing, I could do it in under 2h. The instructions confused me

Initial fitting of this kit was very fast and i felt i was making very good progress. Then i got to the part of attaching the frame runner to the door its self. I was installing this on a 15 year old 3 metre garage door and the middle section was a raised brace and the holes for the bracket supplied with the kit would not line up with the brace correctly. This wasn’t too much of an issue as i made something out of some aluminium bar and some rivets and attached it on to the door.
Next the fun really began when i attempted to set the lifter up. Firstly on opening the frame was bending which i fixed with some additional timber bracing on the frame. After that when the door closed it would stay open on one side about 4 inches where as the other side was closed perfectly. When it got to this point of travel the upper door frame timber would twist and creak and sounded like it was about to snap. I spent several hours bracing this to beef it up abit which made no difference.
When you run into this type of issue the manual is next to useless and just tells you to seek professional help. I messed about with the door abit more and figured out that the right hand guide that eases the door backwards wasn’t doing its job and the door was passing over the side of it rather than against it. I drilled the rivets out and moved the guide further outwards. With very little expectation i tried again and to my amazement it work perfectly! It would be nice if they pointed out some basic things to look out for on the door if you have issues
The garage door opener is a good piece of kit but dont assume that it will fit and you will have no issues. Programming was abit of a pain to start with but it worked properly in the end. The manual control button looks abit cheap and nasty, i didnt bother with it.

OK, fitted this today to replace a very old screw drive opener that went fzzztbang!. It’s quiet and fast, and does the job well, hence the 5 stars. The manual is pretty weak as the descriptions of the various bits of hardware hover between vague and plain wrong, but no-one who’s not prepared to use a bit of imagination is likely to tackle fitting something like this anyway. Fitting took about 90 minutes working on my own, which included fitting a double socket as my old opener was hard wired into a junction box. With a bit of work on the manual, this would be knock out, so it’s a shame there wasn’t more proof reading.

V pleased, we did have to return the additional arm we purchased as on reading the installation guide it was clear we didn’t need it, despite the description on Amazon leading us To believe that we did. Returning it was straightforward so no complaint there

Smooth and reliable with good lighting option. Only one aspect to enquire on if seller is reading, I have limited mobility and dexterity in hands so I find the electronic key fob difficult to use,although I must add perfect for normal user. Can you supply a chunkier fob with a raised button please?

All in all, I’m very pleased with this garage door opener. It’s absolutely worth the price and can easily be installed by even those with the most basic of DIY skills! Make sure you get an extension lead to run up to the unit for power.

Simple to fit in the right situation,the only problem for me was the height above the door, which needed timber beams cutting and then reinforcing. Works perfectly on my 9ft wide door.

Easy to install
Replaced my 20 year Chamberlain opener with this. Easy to install, Love how quiet it is as it is below one of the bedrooms.
I had this to change the age old chamberlain model which stopped working suddenly.
