Good value when compared to other watches with the same functions. Fantastic battery life , I run 100km over a week or so (with GPS on) and don’t have to think about recharging the battery.
Small annoyance in that it cuts out the work out my announcing “calories target achieved”, this happened to me on a ultra marathon, the alarm goes off and it says “congratulations target acheived” resulting in loss of data /map I was following etc. This function cannot be turned off. I get around the issue by setting the daily target to 1 calorie so when I put the watch on it immediately sets off the alarm so I don’t have to worry about it crashing out during a run. Probably just a software issue and I hope it has been fixed, seems odd that you can’t just desactivate this in setting but you can’t and have heard this compliant from others.
Only use for running so can’t comment on other uses. Software issues aside its a fantastic watch, very easy to set up and use. ie. load maps etc. Very intuitive functions .

So far I like this watch. It is lightweight and the watch band is very comfortable. I have small hands and wrists; it doesn’t look too big. There are many watch faces to choose from so that is kind of a fun feature. The battery life is excellent, a big reason I purchased this watch. The downsides are that the directions are terrible and you can only use the Coros app on your phone. They don’t have it on the internet for your computer. You will have to look online for how to use the watch. There are YouTube videos that will help.

Overall great battery life which is a huge plus. The watch works very well when running outdoors.
I train for triathlons and when training indoor bike, ~70% of the time the watch does not connect to my polar h10. This is so frustrating. I don’t have 15 mins to wait until I restart the watch and re-pair my HRM every time I work out (every day). I need a device that works every time I need it without any issues. Also, for swimming it is very so so. The watch does not translate my TrainingPeaks session into proper laps, which turns structured swimming workout very hard. Lastly, I’d love if I could choose imperial vs metric for each sport. My triathlon trainer lives abroad and translating from metric to imperial manually is highly inefficient.

Before going into details, I would like to list the pros and cons of the watch first based on my own experience. In general, the watch has very solid/high quality hardware but there is much space for software improvement.

    Pros:
    1. Building quality and material of the watch, high performance/cost ratio.
    2. Good battery performance.
    3. Accuracy in measuring heart rate and steps.
    4. Can be used to track over 20 types of regular sport (running, biking, swimming, snowboard, ski, Gym cardio, triathlon etc.).
    5. Sync with the iPhone is easy and very fast.
    Cons:
    1. The COROS App for iPhone need be improved. Only very few types of data in the App can be edited.
    2. The choices of watch face are very limited and the watch face cannot be customized.
    3. Sleep tracking function is limited. It will stop tracking the sleep after the 6-hour mark once you are awake. What makes thing worse is that you cannot edit your sleep data in the App (e.g. cannot add nap time)
    4. The way used by the watch to track treadmill running is weird and often inaccurate for distance measurement.

I purchased the COROS Apex Premium GPS sports watch because the specifications shown on the product website (https://coros.com/compareChartPage.php) and many online reviews mentioned the long battery life of the COROS product and the quality of the watch itself (such as sapphire screen). Having used this watch a bit over a month, here is the battery life of the watch in reality:

The first time the battery lasted 14.5 days from fully charged to 20% battery left, during which (1) I had five ~ 30-minute workout (mainly treadmill running), (2) with receiving notifications from the iPhone and gesture backlight being turned on for the first 4 days, (3) synced the watch with my iPhone once every day, (4) Sleep monitoring was turned on every day, and (5) All other functions, including GPS tracking were turned off.
The second time the battery lasted 18 days from fully charged to 17% battery left, during which (1) I had six ~ 30-minute workout (mainly treadmill running), (2) changed watch faces four times, (3) performed one firmware update (added Galileo support for GPS), (4) synced with my iPhone once every day, (5) sleep tracking was turned on every day, and (5) with all other functions, including receiving notification from the iPhone, gesture backlight, and GPS tracking being turned off during the whole period.

Thus, the battery life is satisfactory but not as strong as some online reviews stated. However, I need point out that I did not yet test the battery life with GPS turning on. Many online reviews commend the higher sensitivity and stability of COROS watches in receiving GPS signal and the long battery life under the GPS function being on (e.g. outdoor running, which is said to be much better than other peer GPS sports watch on the market, such as those from Garmin, Polar, and Sutto). Further research online revealed that the Apex Premium is equipped with a 320 mAh Lithium polymer battery, which is smaller than a peer product from Huawei, the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro that is equipped with a 455 mAh Lithium polymer battery. Surprisingly, online customer reviews indicate that the battery performance of the former is much better than the later in daily use. Based on online customer reports and my own experience, COROS watches have better battery performance likely due to that 1) the COROS watches monitor heart rate very 10 minutes rather real time monitoring when you are not on a workout/exercise. It activates real time heart rate monitoring only when you are on a workout (You can change heart rate monitoring to always real time in the settings of the watch), 2) the watch does not have many functions that other sports watches equipped with (e.g., playing music, sending messages, making and receiving calls, display photos etc.), and 3) The COROS company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Yuanfeng (YF) Tech Corporation. YF is a company with expertise in GPS-related products. They thus may have know-how about tracking GPS signals in an energy-efficient way.

The watch uses Totally Reflective liquid crystal display (TR-LCD). Thus, the display is very bright/clear and easily to read under strong light (e.g., sunshine). By contrast, it is very difficult to read under low light (in the evening and early morning you need turn on backlight to read it). There is a very simple user manual comes with the watch. It took me quite a while to figure out how to use the watch. I would suggest the company prepare a better user manual in PDF format with more detailed guidance such that customers can download conveniently meanwhile save production cost for the company. Based on limited experience in using the Apex, I found the function of vibration, turning on the backlight function and receiving notifications from the iPhone consume quite a lot of battery. You may need turn them off if you want to extend the battery life. I did not test the GPS tracking and the water-resistance function of the watch yet and will update my experience of using these functions later.

Overall, I like the COROS Apex Premium watch so far. However, I give it only four stars this time due to the cons mentioned above (I actually want to give 4.5 stars but the Amazon system allows for integer only).

    Segnale GPS Precisissimo
    Orologio velocissimo a fare tutto

Great stretchy wrist band. Good ergonomics. Hard to see the face without good light unless you turn on the raise wrist to illuminate feature. But that feature uses a lot of battery. On my second charge I am about to get 28 days using maybe 10+ hours of gps. I got this because of good reviews, and battery life. Having to charge a watch every day (cough Apple) is ridiculous. No map on the watch but if you need a map that badly, bring a real one. The app on your phone does overlay a map, so you can study later. I’m very happy. PS I have nothing to compare the sleep feature to, but gps is very accurate so far (matches my iPhone) and holds even in dense woods in a river bottom below 100 foot cliffs on either side. Not super narrow, but still impressive.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNach Garmin und Polar hab ich nun endlich meine Sport Uhr gefunden!
Akkulaufzeit is ja mal so was von geil da hlt momentan nichts am Markt mit, auer eine Garmin Fenix 6 Solar vielleicht.
    Trainingsaufzeichnung funktioniert super.

Fabulous watch, lots of information and stats available. Batterie lasts for ages. Easy to setup and use. The Coros app is really informative, from the casually healthy runner to an elite athlete, it has everything needed to report performance and fitness levels and it looks pretty too! I have a 42cm in White and it’s a perfect fit on my wrist. The buttons are easy to use whilst out running and in training sessions. The GPS signal is acquired really quickly and stays strong and fairly accurate.
I would buy one over a Garmin again, the spec on the Apex would cost twice the price on a Garmin.
It comes with the usual American customer service which is second to none. Buy and enjoy.

I have had this just about two months and really enjoy it so far. First thing is the screen is NOT a touch screen. This only took a few days to get used to. It is actually a benefit of you live where it is cold. I have had no trouble wearing gloves, mittens or anything else on my hands and I can still use the dial on the side.

I came from using a Fitbit ionic and this seems to put perform in most places. I found that when running this tracks mileage and gps just as good if not better. But it also tracks stride length and cadence. This really has helped to let me see when I get tired and form breaks down.

For sleeping it tracks my night time sleep just fine…however I have a newborn and have been napping and the coros doesn’t pick that up.

When I have to charge the watch the coros has been great. I have only charged it twice. The battery does really last about one more month per charge. Also I appreciate that it comes with plugs to cover the charging port and keep the contacts clean.

When I do strength training I really love that you can design a custom program and sync it to your watch so the watch will tell you what exercise, how many reps/time, how long to rest, and then it will keep track of how much each body part has been working. Their exercise library is very large, includes multiple tools (kettle bells, ropes, weights, bodyweight, medicine ball, bands).

    I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had the watch for a little while now and I love it for going out hiking. The gps and route tracking seem to work great. The sleep tracking is far, far better than my fitbit ever was. You know what I don’t like about it? It doesn’t accurately measure my steps. There have been days that I have been stupid busy, running all day long, and the watch doesn’t even register 10,000 steps. Meanwhile, my phone is giving me all sorts of congratulations about being over 10k steps (and I didn’t even have my phone on me the whole time). I don’t know if it’s because I was carrying things and couldn’t swing my arms, or what, but it’s pretty annoying when the $100 fitbit is more accurate than the $300 smart watch that has all the bells and whistles.

I’m very happy with the watch. For my requirements it fits perfectly. Great battery, accurate on the route when running and the length is very precise. The GPS signal is great. The light of screen with some watch faces is not good, but choosing a better watch face solves it.
It works fine also to receive notifications from messages, whatsapp, calls… and syncs very fast with the app. This watch is terms of price/quality is very good.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat for fitness tracking. Gives good statistics: heartrate, distance splits, and elevation. It contains multiple exercise modes like skiing and swimming and if course running.
The color is not what I expected. I ordered the gold color, and it’s more burgundy, cool tan and rose gold. I like it, but it’s not what I expected.

Little unsure on accuracy of OHR monitor. Also the auto pause glitches on occasions during a bike ride.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHave owned the Coros Apex for almost a year now and don’t regret my decision at all. I did alot of comparison shopping before buying the Coros. Ultimately decided to go with the Coros over the Garmin because of the battery life and the relative low price for the feature set.
My favorite things about the watch:
1- Battery life is insane: I used this watch to train for a marathon, wore it for long runs, short runs, 10 hours a week and more, all with GPS. I can easily go a month between charges. Really don’t know how they do it.
2- Always adding features: Coros has introduced several major updates since I bought the watch. It’s encouraging to see new features always coming to the watch and hearing about new features in the works.
3- Customer Service: Had one issue with the watch recently (ended up being user error) and emailed support about it. Had multiple people reach out to me and they were quick to respond, descriptive in their troubleshooting and overall pleasant to deal with.

Highly recommend buying this over a Garmin if you’re in the market for a new running/sports/triathlon watch.

This watch is amazing! The highlights are the long battery life, workout functionality/pre-programmed workouts, and the Coros application, which is easy to sync with your watch and see up-to-date statistics. The only negatives I have are that the heart-rate monitor isn’t very accurate and the watch face is dark and can be hard to read when glancing at it. Overall, though, I have had Garmin and Suunto watches and this Coros has been my favorite. GPS is accurate and connects quickly.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThe battery life is obviously incredible. I am coming from a Garmin 235. The screen brightness is ok, could be a little brighter. For the amount of data I am accustomed to seeing on one screen while running, I am having a hard time being able to read out my screen at a glance. I got the 42 mm version so perhaps the 46 would be easier. I wish there was a indoor walk mode as I sometimes walk on the treadmill and that data “counts against my numbers”. Also manual input would be a nice feature. Overall nice watch. Looking forward to putting it to the test in the upcoming months

This watch does way, way more than I need it to, and that’s good. I am a marathoner and ultra-marathoner. I was looking for a great running watch with super-long battery life at a not-insane price. That’s what this is. I recently ran for 12 hours straight (using GPS) and it only used 30% of the battery. I consider this watch my trusty companion. No complaints. I give this watch my highest recommendation.

I run ultra marathons and needed a high quality GPS that wouldn’t break the bank. My main requirements were durability, price, and long battery life. This watch didn’t disappoint! I’ve only had the watch for two days, but have already run a 20 miler to test it out. It was AWESOME! It came in the mail with over 50% charge, so I haven’t even plugged the watch in yet. I’m super happy with the product. By the way, their support team is also very responsive and helpful. I was having issues with Strava and Coros synching, and someone got back to me right away with specific directions to problem solve. This is an AMAZING WATCH!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Userssw v2.22.0, hw v1.50 at the time of the review.
I have owned few watches before, I suppose many of us can say who decides to buy Coros brand.
My previous two ones were TomTom and Forerunner 935 and used a few others.

To start with, as many said before, the battery is awesome, still after half year of use. Will see in a year.
I take notes of every charge with date and percentage when I plug it, and it usually lasts for two weeks for me with about 6-7 exercise per week, reaching 10% when I plug in.

I used open swimming with friends couple of times (Fenix 6x and Vivoactive 3), luck might have it, but my map was the closest where we swam in the ocean. I was quite surprised as I did not expect much of it. One time the reading was garbage, but the other three times was surprisingly good, even though the overall accuracy was around 85%.
Indoor swimming isn’t the best. If you swim 2k just freestyle, that might work, but I prefer switching styles and the reading is no always gets the laps as it gets confused where the next comes.

Still no scratches on the bezel, neither on the glass. The turning know gets stuck few times I take my shirt on, but easy to use.

I think the price is just right. I did not feel the other brands worth the extra money, especially the lots of bug they have after launching a model.

It supports GPS, GLONASs and Beidou, however the GPS+other setting never gave me better accuracy when I changed, even though it should read more satellites in my region.

Laugh at me, but I prefer the TomTom app the best. Garmin gives lots of data and the ecosystem is nice too. Coros application is somewhat between, probably getting better nowadays, but not very customizable. You can get used to it and integrates with many 3rd party apps (except Runkeeper).

Syncing your data is fabulous. Especially compared to Tom and G. T is known to be slow, bu even G6X lacks behind. Same activity got synced 2 minutes with our G5/6X where Coros did it in 15 seconds with bluetooth! And it was not due to the phone, we tried with both iphone and android, as we did not believe why latest Gs are so slow.. (wifi was OK though)

Lots of export formats from the App! Import to route is also possible.

Integration with phone like receiving notifications, calls works fine for me, though I don’t use it often.

Support is great! This winter, they added bunch of activities missed by the community, they listen to your needs and your problems. Response time is fast and usually helpful.

Cons: One minus star, because the watch is not perfect. Not sure which watch would I give 5.
    1. The optical HR sensor is quite funny at times during exercise.. Don’t count on it hoping this brand/model will be different from others like Garmin. But at least they don’t overcharge you..
    2. I don’t feel the Current Pace accurate all the time in Run activity, even compared to my old TomTom. I noticed on several runs with steady pace, lets say 5 minutes, then I go DOWN on a steps/stairs, then returning to my target pace by feeling as I run before. The watch however does not follow up, showing 6+ pace, only after 150 even 200 meters, it catches up. Surely, the average will be OK given the time and the distance, but this I feel should be improved as it is a main feature.
    3. Sleep measure only works well if you set it to continuous HR reading, well at least for me. The default 1 minute per 10 minutes readings gives you an idea how you rest, but not that accurate (no wonder). I should note, that it works well with my girlfriend. If she wears it overnight, even with the energy saving mode, it matches her Vivoactive 3 data, not for me.
    4. The menu is simple, therefor lacks few features you may find at other brands (or not..), there are few functions you cannot set, for example if you are a nightcrawler, running before or after the Sun in the dark, there is no way to set the auto-light feature by activity, only by general. I know, don’t bother the watch, just run! 😀
    5. Pin a POI would be nice few times later to remember and save, but that does not really goes with the “cons” section.
    6. You can import a GPX file to your routes, but cannot change start/stop place. Import is only possible now with share the file from another app, not from the app, which is weird

Overall I’m quite satisfied with the this model and with the brand! I will probably upgrade to either Apex Pro, where the GPS module is stronger, or maybe the next model after a while; will see. Surely, I’m not looking back to Garmin, finally, I’m happy what I payed for, but I do keep an eye on others, while hoping Coros will continue the great job.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI can’t adequately describe how much better this watch, customer support and ultimately the company as a whole is than Garmin or Suunto.
The battery life is significantly greater. Not only is the battery life longer but the GPS is still more accurate even with the increased battery life.
The watch itself; no more stupid alligator clamp for charging or syncing. When you finally need to charge there is a simple plug-in THAT ALWAYS CONNECTS.
This kind of leads me to my next thing. Syncing activities. This is app based. It syncs so much easier and faster via the app. Never needs repaired and doesn’t need plugged in to sync.
The one I mean ONE time GPS took a while to locate my watch the very next day there was a bug fix that performed itself. No need to plug in or anything.
And now I’m finally getting to what prompted me to do this review.
They released an update. Made a comment about nutrition and water intake reminder setting. I could not find it for the life of me. I sent an email to support asking where it was. Less than a hour later BOOM there the answer was. Clear and concise fast response.
Years and years of running with Suunto and Garmin I’ve never been even remotely as close to as satisfied with their products as I am with this watch.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAmazing watch!

I heard a lot of great things about COROS before purchasing and I have to say, it has lived up to the hype.

The battery life is unbelievable and I only have to charge every 10-14 days, whilst running 5 times per week, clocking 35-50 miles per week.
When the battery is low, it also has a nifty battery save feature where the backlight and data synchronisation (with the COROS app, Strava etc.) are disabled until you charge the watch. I managed an 8 mile run with the watch on 7% battery and it still had 4% when I finished.

In terms of value, I have to say you will not get this much watch for the money anywhere else. I am enjoying monitoring elevation as I run with the barometer. (A feature that You will usually need to spend at least 450 to obtain from rival brands)

Initially I had a bit of an issue viewing the screen during high sun but after changing the watch face from white text on black background to black text on white this was no longer an issue.

The COROS customer support is second to none. Any queries I have asked have been answered comprehensively and concisely in under 24 hours.

Regular firmware updates demonstrate that COROS are a company that are continually improving and I will look forward to seeing how they improve this already great watch in the future.

I wanted a watch that would accurately track my miles while running roads and trails because my phone was not doing a good job, especially with the trail runs. I didn’t need all of the bells &whistles and analytics that the Garmin’s had to offer, especially with the added cost and less than desirable battery life. This watch is exactly what I needed. I only wear it for fit was and during runs since I’m not a watch wearer and I don’t care about tracking my daily activities. That being said, I am very VERY happy with the battery life of this watch. I’ve never had it less than 56% power and that was after 7 days and tracking 28 miles of running. And it charges super quick. The GPS tracking is awesome and syncs well with Bluetooth on your phone so it automatically shows up on Strava. The GPS is so accurate that on roads I can tell what side of the road I was running on and the path isn’t all wobbly like it was when I used my phone GPS in the past. It turns out that I have been running further than necessary when using my phone GPS because it was so inaccurate. Now that I have this watch it’s so much more accurate and I don’t have such a descrepency with my race times/distances and my training plans. Highly recommended. The app is super user friendly and if you have questions the website will answer anything you need to know.

I will note that I bought this watch from the Clever Training website and not on Amazon because I had concerns that I would get the Asian version. I had a coupon code so it kind of made up for the difference in price and it was well worth the peace of mind.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI love this watch! I tell everyone who works out, does triathlon, or ultra distances to get this watch! The battery life alone is amazing and such a life saver. For reference, I did a 50 mile run race in 13 hours, 50 minutes. When I left the house I had 98% battery. When I was done I still had 30% battery. There is an additional mode to use less gps and extend the battery life!

There are so many options within each activity, from cadence, to pacing, following a gps course, track mode, intervals, triathlon mode, changing when or if the watch buzzes at every mile or every 5 miles, the list goes on. The only downside is there is no “walk” feature. There is a hike, but when I’m walking in the city I use “gps cardio” and change it in my strava later. I’m hoping an update later will fix this. If not, it’s still not a deal breaker for me.

This watch is fantastic! I was looking for an alternative to a Garmin, as I was looking for something to track my swims, bikes, and runs but Garmin is way out of my price range. I was a little skeptical of the battery life, but it really does last for quite a long time! I charge it every week and a half or so and don’t have to worry at all about running out of battery. It’s been really accurate with GPS, and in my experience it finds GPS in about 5 seconds or less. The lap tracker in the pool is great, it keeps track better than I can. The app is pretty easy to use, and gives some nice training estimations (VO2 max, lactate threshold, training level, etc). There’s only 2 buttons on the watch, so it’s pretty foolproof to figure out. And a minor detail, but you can choose to flip the watch orientation so that if you wear watches on your right wrist, you can access the buttons easily.
The only thing I would consider a downfall is I wish there were more watch faces to choose from. I haven’t found one I love yet, but we will see if they come out with more options!
I really couldn’t be happier with this watch, and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen to me!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAfter doing a lot of research online I took a punt on this watch over the Garmin or Suunto rivals. I’ve owned both Garmin and Suunto in the past, but what won me over when it came to updating my watch initially was the exceptional battery life of the Apex. But now, having owned the watch for the best part of a year and having run two ultra marathon races in it and over 2000 miles – I can honestly say I LOVE this watch. It boasts a whole load of brilliant features, including GPS. Coros also provide regular updates for the watch in terms of real feature updates and tweaks to improve existing functions. It’s just a brilliant piece of kit. I’ve run 100km using gps mapping on this watch in a race and worn it for the following two weeks and not bothered to charge it. I could not have dreamed of doing that with my old Garmin. I’ve run in rain, ice, snow, and thick mud and this watch has survived it all. Recieved the Coros Apex watch for Christmas from my partner, and after reading all the good reviews which made me decide to give this brand a go, I was not disappointed. As I am fairly new to the triathlon world and want to excel in this sport, the Apex was the way to go on a budget, but not sacrificing the quality. The watch exceeds all expectations and had performed very well in all training fields so far. Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis watch is a must have for any serious endurance athlete. I am a newer Ultrarunner and found that most GPS watches are not made for these type of runners. Many GPS watches are great for about 6-8 hour tops before the accuracy and battery life go. After reading the Runner’s World reviews on this watch and talking to some friends that have it I decided to buy it.

First of all, it is purely for sport. It is not a smart watch. There is no touch screen and you can not reply to texts or make calls from the watch. That is a plus for me. There is no music storage either. It is a dedicated multisport endurance watch.

The watch itself is built to last. All the parts are very durable and it also looks great on the wrist. Battery life is ridiculous. I did 62 miles of running before I even charged it once and I wore it straight out if the box!

GPS and running metrics were my main draws for purchasing this watch and they are perfect. After a few workouts you get you VO2 max, LT HR and LT Pace. If you want even better analysis buy the POD and you get all the data you could ever want. My favorite feature of the app is the Fitness Level which tells you how resilient your fitness is as an endurance athlete. This pairs with your workouts to give you an idea of you are training too hard, not enough or just right. There is a built in AI on the watch that tells you time to full recovery from your workouts as well. It is obvious that this watch was built by athletes for athletes. Highly recommend!!!

I use the trail running, road running and hiking functions, and am impressed with the usability and with the amount of information captured by the watch and relayed via the Coros app. It’s very quick and easy to get up and running, and the battery life is superb – even an all-day walk for eight hours doesn’t seem to get the battery down below 80%.

Golden Review Award: 81 From Our UsersI’ve been a Garmin user for years and while I do love their watches, I got tired of the chunky bulk of the lower end (I have the 920) and the cost of the higher end sleeker timepieces. Friends in my FaceBook group were talking about Coros and a few people I knew had made the switch. I’m thrilled that I tried it.

    What I LOVE!

#1 Battery Life. I had multiple runs and almost 3 weeks before I needed another charge. I probably had another week but didn’t want to risk it before my weekend long runs. I’m used to long battery life with my 920 but even that only lasted a week or so with consistent use.

#2 Look and feel. I found myself constantly switching between my chunky 920 and Apple watch. I’m selling both now because as you can see on my left wrist in the picture, my Coros Apex is beautiful. I wear it to work, to sleep, out and of course during all activities. I get compliments all the time on my watch. I chose the smaller face because my wrists are tiny and it looks stunning on my wrist.

#3 Tracking. This thing tracks multiple activities. I’m a triathlete and it supports all the disciplines as well as Tri as an activity itself. It’s spot on in sync with how my Garmin tracks so I completely trust it. It has different types of tracking based on your needs however, I’m mostly in open areas and rely on the simplest GPS type of tracking. There are multiple configurations to customize your activity screens. I got all of mine setup just like I like them without issue. I liked the different variations from 2-6 or so fields available on every screen and maybe 5 or so screens to set up (if desired) per activity type. This is important to me on long runs where I’m working on different things depending on where I am in the run and whether I’m running to work, on the road or on trails.

#4 The mobile is is solid, especially for a new company. It syncs to Strava which is important. I get good information on my workouts in terms of effort etc. once the sync completes. Oh and it syncs effortlessly. I’ve not lost bluetooth connection once which was something I’ve experienced over the years with other watches.

What I hope to see as the company grows –

Better watch faces because I wear this thing all of the time and want that to always improve. With my smaller watch face I need good crisp colors in order to see. I can see now but do strain just a bit.

Bigger Coros community. Everyone, go buy one and let’s be Coros FB friends or join the Strava group together. 🙂

This watch is awesome, not hugely expensive and you won’t ever regret purchasing it. I am now selling my 920 and Apple watch as neither are needed.

    I'm Coros Converted!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe battery life, mapping and live elevation were what made me consider this watch and of course the price. There were quite a few iffy reviews around to begin with so it took me a while to take the plunge, especially coming from what I considered a very reliable Garmin.

I’ve had it for about six weeks now and I need not have feared. All the featured I bought it for work perfectly, GPS tracking has been perfect and any other concerns I had before purchasing have come to nothing.

Can’t recommend highly enough especially for the price. As others said the battery life is amazing, recently did a 70km race and two weeks later I’m only just having to charge the watch.

I love this watch. My first run with it was a 35 miles of trail and it was still ready to do more even though I was not. The GPS was as accurate as one could expect running in and out of the woods in rural Maine. It is very comfortable–I have tiny wrists and have been wearing it to bed without any discomfort–and very intuitive. It syncs quickly with the app and the data is as accurate. The only thing I wish it did was allow for time intervals in a run rather than just as a workout, but it does allow mileage alerts so I have been able to figure it out from that. Overall I’m completely satisfied and recommend this watch enthusiastically!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have only charged my watch three times since I’ve owned it, using it everyday to track my runs, swims, and rides.
I can go out with there being less than 15% on the watch and know it will last the entire session or day.

The GPS is very accurate, and if you go into a low GPS zone (which doesn’t happen often), it will estimate your stride/time to continue recording your route until the GPS kicks back in. It also records elevation accurately.

I went for the 42mm, going down to a smaller watch from previously having giant watches. It’s light, barely noticeable that you’re wearing it, and the silicone bands are very comfortable.

The sleep tracking, while I’ve never tracked my sleep previously, it has been accurate in HR and deep vs light sleep zones.

Heart Rate: I’ve done both the monitor in the watch and attached my heart rate chest strap and the beats are only off by one or two at most in the tests that I’ve done.
