I bought it because my existing oven needs to be replaced and this will give me time to decide what my cooking needs are. It is a versatile piece of kitchen equipment, I am glad I bought it.

I’ve got a normal crockpot just put meat in and leave it to cook it does an amazing job, cooks gently & slowly making meat really tender which I like. This one we bought for a Christmas Present to a more technical minded family they will sort the controls & what it can do out quickly, they will love what it can do. Crockpots are an excellent product.

I love my slow cooker it was bought for me last xmas and I was sceptical I had one negative the writing all wiped off crockpot offered to exchange but covid no stock and I was reluctant to take another model. I make use of digital panel.
I have used the cooker for a year now and although I have had a gee wiz all singing dancing kitchen fitted I still use my multicooker for just about everything, I saute roast steam rice and bake I batch cook so, so easy. I even cook one pot spaghetti in it using saute and water. It is still easy to store, clean and non stick is still intact. I have recommended to friends and family and they are all pleased. One tip if you are making a dish you want to keep dry or less fluid place a tea towel under lid so excess moisture doesn’t get added

I have been using this for a few weeks now to cook Moroccan Lamb Tagine (Shoulder of lamb on the bone) absolutely delicious meat melted off the bone. Roast Chicken I would have struggled to fit a full roast in this as the heat comes up from the bottom and veg fall through the rack and burn it’s better to cook just the chicken and do the potatoes and veg separately in the oven and on the hob. Chicken curry was absolute dream especially because you can saut so no extra washing up – all in the one pan. Just push the stop/start button to change from saute to either slow cook or bake if you want it faster. Chilli con carne the same procedure as curry. Very pleased with this machine and no problems with non stick yet – Very easy to clean. Temperature and cook times can be adjusted during cooking with up/down arrows. Cooks faster than a conventional oven. I’m going to buy another for my caravan as one pot cooking less washing up so ideal for caravanning. Also saves on gas as you’ve already paid for electric hook up with the pitch!

Absolutely love this cooker! It’s super easy to use, spacious in size (cooks a large chicken). The digital panel ticks all the boxes at the push of a button. It also clicks automatically to the keep warm mode after cooking and keeps food warm for 3 hours.
    I highly recommend this product.

This Crock Pot was bought as used. We were disappointed about the condition of it
The liner was dirty and badly scratched and the top of the bearing element was badly stained.

So easy to use and clean. Has enough options to cook with, but seems to always be a bit on the hot side and you seem to have to lower temperatures. So not true to what you set it to. But still love it and use regularly

It does much more than slow cook. No need to use a separate pan for browning meat and onions, simply use the saut function. The only downside, and this is minor, is that it doesn’t brown a chicken as well on the roast function than you’d get by using a regular oven. Apart from that it’s a tidy and tasty way of cooking.

Love this and the biggest advantage is one pot cooking. You can brown of meat and veg and then switch to slow cook mode. It cooks evenly and well and all the functions work effectively. It nice and big and you can take it to the table as it’s a nice casserole type pot. Takes a large chicken easily. Definitely recommend for its versatility and value

Was soll ich sagen, perfekt.

I am a little disappointed with my crockpot. I was thinking of sending it back as not fit for purpose.
It takes a lot longer to cook food than suggested in the the recipes, so I have been looking online and found useful hints –
When making cakes cover pot with paper towels or similar, then put lid on. This is to stop the drips of condensation dripping on the cake and making it soggy!? I must add that the chocolate cake recipe was delicious. But it did take an extra hour to cook.
Cover glass lid with towel when cooking, except the ‘hole’, this stops the hot air from escaping from around the lid!?
The lid is a very poor fit.
It’s a very useful pot to have as it does some many different ways of cooking. Just a great shame Crockpot haven’t sorted the loose fitting lid.
    Hope this is helpful.
I had thought about writing to Crockpot, but reading reviews, they seldom respond.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersLove this slow cooker as you can brown your meat in this before you start to slow cook meaning that all the flavour is retained in the pot. You can easily change between the different functions if you need to finish cooking a at quicker pace if your timetable changes. Best of all though is the keep warm for up to 2 hours after slow cooking is completed as it means dinner is kept warm until everyone gets home from school/work and no reheating in microwave required.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersDieser Crock-Pot ist der Hammer.

Somit locker 5 Sterne!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is simply an amazing thing. I saute then simmer, I saute then slow cook for the day, I steam fish on the Verandah so my house doesn’t smell, I slow cook from raw, and I have barely touched the list of things this machine is capable of. It looks good, I am washing it by hand and the non stick is brilliant. The glass lid is great for checking on progress. I didn’t do well wth cooking Sushi Rice in it, so if anyone has thoughts on that I would be glad to hear them, but if you work hard and want a slow cooker, go camping and want healthy food after a day walking, want to cook in one pot cleanly conveniently and above all well then this is the cooker for you. Just brilliant – and no one paid me to say this either!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDecided to purchase a crock-pot as I work long hours and by the time I get home from work I don’t have the energy or time to cook something healthy from scratch.

Since I’ve purchased this crock-pot I’ve made stews, soups, shepherds pie, even roast potatoes (which turned out perfect) – I just prep the ingredients the night before and throw in first thing in the morning and set the cooking time if i’m off to work. I love the ‘keep warm’ feature, nothing better than coming home to the smell of cooked food and grabbing a plate instantly.

I have yet to try the baking feature, this is something I will be doing this weekend. Will update my review when I have.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have mixed feelings about this slow cooker.

The cooker itself is very good, easy to use, and better made than a previous Crock-Pot I had. Not that the previous one I had was bad, but I found the temperature across the cooking bowl quite uneven (it was a ceramic pot type). The cooking bowl on this one is metal, and it fits against the heating element much better, and the cooking temperature was much more even across the whole bowl, a big improvement.

We are only two people, and I really found this cooker too big. It took a tremendous amount of ingredients to fill it to a good level for cooking; much more suited to 4+ people. Not the fault of the cooker, and smaller ones are available.

My main issue is a purely personal one… I’m not a good chef, and whilst piling chopped veg and meat into the cooker and covering with liquid is potentially a bad chef’s dream, I really struggled to coax much flavour from the finished dishes, and was ultimately always quite disappointed. Yes of course I could do more… brown the meat first (too much effort for me tbh) and use great quality proper stock and a nice bottle of wine etc. But I then found the cost of the ingredients was really adding up and left me feeling like I wished I’d ordered an Indian.

As I say, this is just the lazy chef I am… we just generally don’t bother cooking. For someone who enjoys cooking, and is cooking for more than two people, and had a modicum of skill in generating flavour… I can see how this could be a wonderful thing.

But in summary… the cooker itself is very good.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersMulti functional. Great for busy lifestyles. Fry the meat in the pot, add all other ingredients, set the timer and when we arrive home end of the day the food is ready. Also not much to wash as all is done with one piece of equipment. Easy to clean as pot can go in dishwasher.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThe wife wanted this as the next step after using a traditional slow cooker. The additional features are useful for “one pot” cooking – great if it’s your turn to wash up. Good sturdy product, the cooking tray is non-stick so really easy to clean and use for browning meat & sweating down veg before slow cooking. Good size as well – you can easily get 6 decent stew portions out of a cook. Only thing I need it to do that it doesn’t is put the food in the fridge when it’s cooked.

Don’t forget to like this review if it was useful.

I have experience of working with the smaller brother version of this, the non multi cook 5.6L Crock Pot and the difference is breath taking. Light weight alloy replaces traditional pot cooker. Display is sharper and somewhat easier to use. And then we come to the fact that we can saute, roast slow cook, steam and bake.

If you need a great slow cooker look no further than this.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersIf you have ever had an AGA cooker you will know that they are the most expensive combined slow cooker and toaster devised yet outside of NASA.
As I have moved into a house without one I considered the latest CrockPot a possible replacement, and save 12000 in the process.
In most ways this clever piece of kit does just that, it slow cooks easily, and roasts a 2.5 kilo chicken no bother.
I will have to say though if you want to roast anything don’t do it too hot if you haven’t got an extractor fan nearby, or very close. You will need it!!
I think this product us well worth the money, a pittance in comparison to its far larger great uncle.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve wanted a slow cooker for a while since winter is the perfect season for soups, stews, and roasts, but I haven’t been able to justify getting a dedicated one. This crock pot does a lot more than just slow cooking, though.

The multi-cooker is fairly large and feels very well made, with a brushed metal finish that is quite easy to wipe down. The base is sturdy and the pot feels quality – something you’d probably have to spend a bit on to get on its own, probably. It comes with a roasting rack and a recipe book with some ideas to get you started. I’ve tried the lentil soup and the tuscan bean soup – both very good.

I’ve mainly used the slow cook and steam functions. Slow cooking works extremely well for joints of meat and for soups, while the steam function boils water quickly for cooking vegetables and heating up gyoza/dumplings up on the rack. I’ve only used the saute function once, and it seemed to work fine – if you have a free hob, using a pan is probably a little easier, just because the pot is quite deep so whatever you’re frying will be a little less accessible. However, it works, and I could see a use case for the multicooker in a homes where there isn’t a hob or even an oven. You could easily make all kinds of meals in it.

The 5.6ltr size gives the two of us about three portions each, depending on what we’ve made. We are pretty greedy though, so a more restrained eater could probably get a whole week of meals out of it.

The control functions are simple to use, with separate buttons for each of the functions and clearly labelled time and temperature controls. Definitely a relief compared to some newer touchscreen interfaces I’ve encountered in kitchen appliances.

One of the big pluses for me is that the pot is non-stick and, apart from being a little big and heavy, really easy to clean.

Overall, this is a versatile, generously sized, and well built cooker.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThis is a truly exceptional product that I am delighted to have had the opportunity to review. I’ve been impressed with Kitchen gadgets and equipment before but this is really, really outstanding and I confidently predict that it will be a staple part of my cookery for a long, long time to come.

Does the above sound overly gushing and effusive? Well, it’s honestly justified. This is a top notch piece of kit that fully justifies it’s price tag, in fact I believe it represents very good value for money. Indeed, I have been so glowing in my praise (and used it so much over the recent festive period) that my Mother has already ordered one and my Brother in Law is also planning to purchase. My (not so) old, faithful slow cooker has been retired from active duty for the foreseeable future because this beast has rendered it all but obsolete.

What does this machine do then? It slow cooks superbly, it sears and browns, it roasts, it steams and bakes. Frankly I’m a bit disappointed that it doesn’t sing and dance and tut if you add too much salt or chilli to a dish. I’ve used all the settings so far several times (With the exception of baking -sorry) and have never been less that satisfied with its performance and have regularly been delighted.

The Slow Cook option is first rate, being able to sear and brown meat and onions in the same pot first is a real bonus too. It has a few different cooking temperatures and can be set for times. I’ve found it to be a more efficient cooker that others I have encountered, so dishes have been ready a little sooner than I may previously have expected. It did a magnificent job with the Venison, Chestnut, Port and Redcurrant Casserole I made for Christmas Eve.

The Roast option was a godsend on Christmas day, giving me an alternative place to roast my spuds, parsnips and Beetroot. All of which came out fantastically well. I would be very confident roasting a meat joint in here as well.

I’ve only used the Steam option once for some Kale and Broccoli but this seemed to perform perfectly well. Not sure it’s something I would use it for that often though as it’s no easier that using a pan.

It’s big too. Bigger than I’d normally need truth be told as we are a family of four but two are under 5 years. This has a 5.6 litre capacity which is easily adequate to feed six hungry mouths. The controls are very straight forward and simple and it’s very energy efficient as well. All told it is very hard to find any notable flaw with it, and I’ve tried.

I can honestly say that I have used this machine a few times every week at least over the last month and I don’t believe it’s novelty will wear off. This has it’s permanent home next to our microwave and I envisage that it will get more use. As such I strongly and enthusiastically recommend this item.

As well as the above I have cooked the following meals with his very happily: Chilli, Bolognese, Chicken Curry, French Onion Soup, Red Beans & Rice and various roasted root vegetables.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersNot all things which are exported from “over the pond” are welcome, but in the case of the Crook Pot Multi cooker a shout goes out to our American cousins. The Crock Pot Multi and Slow Cooker is a fine piece of kit. It is a decent size but certainly not too large to be left on a kitchen work top permanently for ready use. Over time it will prove to as convenient as a microwave while the food it produces is fresher, tastier and less battered by electromagnetic radiation.

The key of course is slow cooking and the ability to leave this implement to perform its work while you are out in the office, at work, robbing banks or doing whatever you do. Slow cookers are traditionally pigeon holed as largely useful for stews and casseroles and it is true they perform the task of making such dishes admirably. But to confine your Crock Pot to this is to massively under employ it. The recipes below from the makers site shows its versatility –

    Easy Beef Korma
Cumin and Coriander Spiced Vegetables with Pearl Barley
Halibut Fillet with Saffron Infused Rice, Dill, Fennel and Cherry Vine Tomatoes
Mixed Autumn Squash and Wild Garlic Medley finished with Toasted Seeds and Croutons
    Orange Crme Brle
Pea, Mint and Spring Onion Summer Broth

What is great about this multi cooker is its functionality and simplicity. Honestly a monkey in a suit could use this. It has five pre-programmed intelligent functions and all you do is press the on/off buttons to select the relevant programme. Set the cooking time, set the temperature and head off to the January sales or go and watch the footie. The roasting function is particularly useful and with a full oven this Christmas it was used in this residence for wonderfully produced “pigs in blankets”. This leads you to the recognition that this is not a traditional pot but a small cooker and can perform many of the functions of your main oven or at least become a vital back up. With cookers like these there really is no exercise for torturing your sprogs with some processed ready meal gloop claiming to be “Lancashire hotpot”. Typically such products are made up ingredients that have been kept at sub-zero temperatures for months, even years, but when it thawed and cooked, they are laughably marketed as ‘fresh’. Forget that junk, save time on cooking, produce great meals full of flavour and do it cheaper than a normal oven. Slow cooking rules and the Crock Pot is King.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI held back a little on this review as I knew it was going to get a lot of use over Christmas and the night before Christmas we put the ham in to cook. Simply choose the cooking time choose the temperature and switch it on, it’ll pre heat and let you know when to put the meat in. Then forget about it, it cooked the ham to perfection it was simply melt in the mouth. On Christmas day it was the turn of a chicken same thing work out the cooking time, set the crock pot and leave it alone. I guess we could have done the turkey roll but that went into the regular oven. Again the meat was falling off the chicken it was perfectly cooked, plus it made Christmas day one of the most chilled out cooking wise.no constant basting just cook and go. I personally enjoyed watching the chicken cook through the lid.
The crock pot is great large enough to roast a sizeable joint but not so large as it can’t be stored on a worktop, the footprint is pretty small for what it can do. We used it a couple of times previously as a slow cooker but as pointed out it will roast to perfection on top of that it will saute, steam and bake. So it’s really versatile. It’s easy to clean as well.
It’s a good idea to read over the cooking tips that the booklet gives to get the best results

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAt the age of fifty-seven, I have a confession to make: I’ve never owned a slow cooker. Working from home, I’ve never really needed to put a dinner on a low light and cook for hours until I get home. All I can say is, having acquired this Crock-Pot Multi-Cooker, I have become a convert. I haven’t totally put it through its paces yet, but one thing I did do was lamb shanks cooked over eight hours – the results were superb. One of the anomalies with my gas hob is that even the gas rings on their lowest setting are too strong – the ‘low’ setting on the Crock Pot gets over this wonderfully, ensuring even cooking and splendid results. Christmas is coming, and this will be a great gift for working people who would like a home cooked meal ready when they get home from work. The build spec and quality is commensurately top notch. Highly recommended. The accompanying recipe book is OK, but you may want to get one with a bigger range of recipe ideas.

Golden Review Award: 67 From Our UsersThis multi-cooker has a very (very) good slow-cooking function, and is also able to steam, roast, saute and (apparently, although I haven’t tried) bake. The slow-cooking function is one that you can’t really replicate with a hob and oven, but the other functions are also useful, particularly if you’re cooking something complex and your oven is already in use. Or if you’re living in a bedsit, it would supplement a microwave oven, allowing you to cook all those things that a microwave just can’t do.

It’s very simple, and that’s a strength. There’s the main cooker unit, a non-stick cooking pot that fits inside, a wire rack that goes inside the cooking pot in either a high or low position, and there’s a lid. It’s big enough to easily cook for four, but fine (and very economical) if you’re just cooking for one. I think there’s a small measuring cup provided as well, and a slim recipe pamphlet that gets you started. I quite liked the very simple carrot and lentil soup recipe.

The display and control panel are beautifully designed. No fiddling around with multi-function buttons: these are all separate and clearly laid out. To cook something, you press “On/Off”, followed by your program (there are five separate buttons, one for each program). Then choose your temperature (the up/down buttons on the left) and cooking time (up/down buttons on the right) and then press “start”. With some programs, such as roasting, there is a preheat time, whereas slow cooking starts right away. If the green light on the right is still flashing, you’ve forgotten to press “start” – this has caught me out a couple of times. At the end of the program the cooker will keep your food warm until you press the “On/Off” button.

    The five programs:

Baking – I haven’t tried baking anything in this cooker. There’s a warning in the instructions to use a separate baking tin if you’re cooking anything with a high sugar or fat content, and everything I bake has one or the other, so I’m as well using my oven.

Saute/Browning – It’s as easy to use a saucepan if you have access to a hob, but it can certainly saute.

Steam – This works well. The water boils surprisingly quickly, and putting the vegetables on the rack means they don’t half-boil, half-steam.

Roasting – I had mixed results. I’ve tried roasting potatoes, carrots, leeks and onions, as well as large and small chickens. Vegetables need to be roasted in fat on the base of the cooking pot. When I tried roasting large potatoes cut into pieces, the flat sides tended to overcook and go very dark and crispy. Charlotte potatoes roasted whole in their skins worked very well, as did carrots leeks and onions. For my first attempt at roasting a chicken I put it in the cooker the right way up, which was a mistake. Because this cooker cooks from the bottom, it was the underside of the chicken that browned (see picture – note also the stripes from the wire rack). So you need to cook your chicken upside-down. It tasted really good though.

Slow Cook – This works very well indeed. Other than making soup, I also tried slow-cooking a leg of lamb in stock and with lots of vegetables for eight hours. Unlike many slow cookers this one has a “low” setting which gives true slow-cooking that allow you to cook your meal on a very low heat almost indefinitely. The lamb was absolutely gorgeous, the meat falling off the bone just like it should. This slow cooking function is by far the best I’ve seen.

This is a great cooker for steaming and roasting, and absolutely wonderful at slow-cooking. I’m rather hooked on it.

An absolutely wonderful slow-cooker that can roast and steam as well

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our UsersBeing a working mum, I’ve long worked out that a slow cooker is an essential item in my kitchen, but this crock pot is great as it allows me to slow cook but also saut, steam, roast and steam. It’s a great size for a family and good looking enough to keep out on the work top. I think it’s brilliant.

The pot part is really light weight and is made of non-stick metal. I have been hand washing it, and think it’s light weight enough and nice looking enough to transport straight to the table.

The multi cooker comes with quick start instructions, a short recipe book and full instructions. Due to the clear display and intuitive buttons it’s really easy to use. If you are sauting ( eg to seal mince before slow cooking) the cooker heats up and beeps to tell you it is ready. There’s quite a lot of variability in the temperature and I think it’s great for saving on washing up rather than using a frying pan and then slow cooker ( I learned the hard way that not pre frying mince makes for sludge bolognaise). If you are slow cooking the timer sets to a default 6 hours- I generally need to to cook for longer than that, but the time is easily adjustable and there’s a boil dry cur off, another plus for me when leaving pulled pork to cook while I’m out. I slow cook and one pot cook a lot so can easily use my recipes, but if you are new to this kind of cooking the recipe guide has a good range of soups, rice, meat and fish dishes.

In use I like the fact that the lid is a good fit and, though not cool wall, the walls of the cooker are thick. It’s really well made and surprisingly compact due to its rectangle shape.

I think the cooker is best at slow cooking, roasting and cooking rice in my opinion. The steaming function is fine, but the rack to put things to steam on has bars and not mesh and so steaming anything like carrot batons is not that great. I can’t deny though that the rest of the functions are fantastic. For casseroles and stews it’s ideal. There’s no strange hot spot in the cooker ( unlike in a previous slow cooker) and everything is evenly and easily cooked, the temperature adjustment is excellent. There’s a “warm” function which allows you to use the cooker as a hot plate.

If, like me, you like cooking from scratch, but lack time, this cooker is a great choice. It’s fast become a kitchen essential here and is the best slow cooker I’ve tried, due to having clear controls, a predictable cooking temperature and instant adjustment. I’m really impressed by everything on this cooker and I would totally recommend it, it’s just fab.

A cooker that promises much and actually delivers
