Very good and resonably priced product. This is my third Dolce Gusto machine and for its price its very good. Slightly noisy in use but that is only for a few moments as it dispenses the coffee. Automatic shut off is good. I find the water resevoir much easier to use than earlier models. Comes with a handy funnel for use when using cleaner/limescale remover which directs the flow into a cup below.
Recently bought this model to replace a previous manual Dolce Gusto and can safely say that It’s money well spent.
The bonus of the automatic machines is that it puts the correct amount of coffee in per pod grades, just turn the dial to the correct grade and press the button and leave it to pour.
No more multitasking keeping an eye on the coffee pouring as you make a sandwich, just let it go safe knowing that it will cut off when it’s reached the level required.
Nice wee machine to have in the kitchen and quieter than my previous model.
Also benefitted from the additional offer of 6 free boxes of pods.
Highly recommend to all coffee lovers
This is the best dolce gusto machine I have had – and I’ve had a few over the last 15 years or so! The water can be topped up whilst the machine is in use, the start button can be activated whilst it is still pre-heating, the cut off is automatic. All this allows you to freedom to do other things whilst your coffee is brewing. Of course the flavour is as good as ever, the selection of pods is ever increasing and there is now a free pod recycling service. I won’t be changing coffee machine brand anytime soon.
Small and compact, very easy to use. Great selection of coffees and other drinks.
I bought mine when they had an offer on and recieved 6 boxes of pods free, making this a great deal.
Water tank has enough water to make two cups.
If there was one niggle it would be the lid on the water container is not very secure and could easily be knocked off.
Quickly heats up and simple dial controls. I love it.
I discovered this coffee machine when I was researching for a pod coffee machine on my WHICH app. WHICH gave it a Best Buy rating. The machine has lived up to its Best Buy rating. The quality and taste of the coffee is excellent across the range of coffees I’ve tried. I particularly like the au lait and the au lait intenso for my first coffee of the day. The machine works extremely well and is easy to clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends.
This is my third Dolce Gusto machine, the first I gave away as it was very tall and the second started leaking and sounding like a train after many years but this little one is just perfect. The tank at 0.8 litres is quite small and I might have preferred a bigger tank but it makes great coffee . The instructions though are pretty poor but being an old timer was able to work out how to operate it, its quiet and looks great on the counter top.
The coffee machine is fine, but after sales service stinks. Dolce Gusto had a promotion running at the time of purchase which was six boxes of coffee pods if you purchased within a time frame it had to be done through Whatsap,I am a 73 year old pensioner! so I asked a neighbour to help me to get my free coffee, but they kept putting obstacles in the way,so if you’re a pensioner you’ve got no chance unless you’re computer literate. They did contact me but said they couldn’t help.
Great little machine does not take up much room on the work top easy to use good value for money.
Love this coffee machine! First time of buying a machine and I am in no doubt I bought the right one.
Sleek and compact mixing rich and tasty flavours love i
I love my Dolce Gusto I use it every day
Very pleased with my new Dolce Gusto Coffee machine. Nice neat looking machine. Love all the choice of drinks you can make with it. Have converted from a Nespresso machine.
Purchased as a gift for my mother, she loves it! Last one she had did have bigger water tank but had no auto-off feature, which this one does (pours the right amount and stops automatically). Water tank size really isn’t an issue as you can refill it while it’s making a drink.
The only thing I’d change is increasing the vertical space where the cup goes as large latte cups are a bit of a squeeze.
Also, highly recommend trying the Starbucks and Costa coffee pods!
Great little machine sits nicely on unit, it’s a lot quieter than my last one. I like the dial to adjust cup size rather neat !
Great to have choice of coffees too recommend to coffee lovers
We absolutely love this machine (genio s). Super easy to use & clean and the variety of different drinks is perfect.
The water tank doesn’t empty too quick. Very happy and saves us a fortune as no more expensive coffee shop runs.
Cons the hot choc options is more of a shot than a mug full and need better shaped mugs to fit the tray. I will try getting ones like in the pics.

I love how compact this machine is, it fits really well in a small space in my kitchen. The tank can be fiddly to remove if you don’t leave enough space around the sides of the machine as it doesn’t have a handle like some of the Tassimo machines, but this is resolved by leaving a gap for your hands along the sides. The tank itself can produce about 3 mugs of coffee. I like the range of pods, definitely more than Tassimo offer and cheaper too. Also places like Aldi have their own compatible ranges. Well worth the money. The settings take a bit of getting used to as you use a dial too select how much/how hot the water is, but once you’ve figured this out is brilliant. I do like this feature as some people like their coffee boiling hot rather than instantly drinkable. Would recommend this machine only downside is the small tank size.
Had this a couple of weeks now and not had any problems. Was worried by some poor reviews talking about a ‘plasticy taste’ or leaks, but this was not my experience. I ran a tank of water through it first,as per the instructions, and every cup has been spot on since.
I got 3 different boxes of capsules to try and some are nicer than others. I’m not a fan of the powdered milk cappuccinos but the rest of the family really liked them (I got one of those electric frother ‘wand’ things and just make my own froth with milk zapped in the microwave for 1 min. Which everyone now prefers)
It’s really very simple and very clean to use. The water is very hard around here so I always use filtered water in it because everything gets scaled up really quickly in this house. The only negative is that you start to feel really guilty about all the plastic pods going into the bin by the end of the first week so I bought one of those reusable capsules (the metal type with a green lid) and fill that with my own ground coffee. Had it a few days now and I can report that it works perfectly, just adds a bit more faffing about to the process than the disposable capsules but it’s worth it for being guilt free and the fact I can use any coffee I like (I’ve just ordered two more of the reusable capsules so that all three of us can use them at the same time.)
When we moved into this a house a couple of years ago it came with an expensive Bosch coffee machine already installed in the fitted kitchen. We couldn’t believe our luck and thought that was ‘the height of luxury’ but it turned out to be a nightmare, constantly needing to be repaired at an extortionate call out charge and the coffee it made was not that good and a bit of a faff to prepare (the steamer nozzle thing never properly worked). Contrast that overpriced junk with this inexpensive Dolce Gusto thingy and the is really no contest.
One of the better things I’ve bought in lockdown. It just works properly, every time.
love my machine and so much simpler than my older dulce gusto, have a bit of an issue with getting it to work everytime I think I need to reread the instructions,
my only complaint is the part where the pod goes into, it jams a lot and takes a lot of wiggling to get it ou

Having had an ‘expensive’ Dolce Gusto machine that broke and going to a much cheaper one, I decided to upgrade to this one, and it is worth every penny. It boasts excellent pressure ensuring that whatever the choice of drink is, it is made to perfection.
Highly recommend if you love coffee shop coffee at home.

Superb machine..easy to use even my 7yr old daughter can operate it with no problems.
Like the way they suggest what setting u need for each different capsules.
So easy to clean and to operate..
And the selection of drinks is excellent.
Would highly recommend this machine.
I bought this machine for my wife. I am actually not a big fan of coffee machines. We got 6 free boxes on purchase. I can smell nice aroma when the drink is being prepared so decided to try once. I had Cortado and it was unbelievably good. I tried 4 flavours so far and each one is very distinctive and fantastic. I already stopped drinking home made coffee and ordered more flavours to try. Another good thing is pods are environmentally sustainable. Dolce sends us pod recycling bag and we can send used pods for free of cost. Every penny with and this machine is must have in kitchen.
Very easy to use, excellent flavour and really easy to clea
I’m really enjoying this machine. It’s easy to use, the coffee is great and all in all it’s very affordable. I had a Nesspresso Vertuo which makes the most amazing coffee but the running cost was prohibitive to me plus the fact it’s broken 6 months in. This machine feels like it will keep going and going though!!
I like the easy way to control the heat (it does make a nice hot coffee if you want one), mug size and the speed it warms up. I had heard it was noisy but it’s no more noisy than my old machine and I like the red cable it’s just a bit different from all the others, which to me is good.
All in all very pleased, it would be nice to have a bigger water tank when friends come around but hey I can manage fine with it on my 3 mugs a day.

it was packed securely and delivered on time. no defects were seen. it is very easy to use and very easy to clean. the instructions included in the box is very helpful and informative. now, i can enjoy my coffee without going to a coffee shop. i am loving my dolce gusto machine. there are a lot of pods compatible with this machine (starbucks, coasta, nesquick, mars, galaxy, many more). highly recommended and it is worth buying. it is like having my own coffee shop at home.
It is a great machine. It makes very decent expresso. I have no problem with dripping I have had great hot coffee. The trick is to wait until the heat light is solid red before starting. I wish there, was more of a choice if coffee pods. And all varieties of pods without sugar. I’d like to have a cold brewed coffee but do not want sugar. Get your own milk frother and use barista quality alternative milks.
Love my genio. Had one previously which unfortunately started leaking after a number of years though. Easy to use and adjust to add extra milk or coffee with the adjustable levels. Makes a good cup for someone who isn’t a connoisseur of all things coffee! Love the cappuccino, and for my sweet tooth the caramel machiato is great.
The machine is very easy to use and the coffee tastes far superior to instant coffee which is what I was using prior to getting the machine would totally recommend for the price as the coffee is as good as a coffee shop but significantly cheape
I really love this machine. So easy to set up, clean and use. Great choice of coffee pods, and they are all recyclable which is a real bonus. Good after sales service and easy to order coffee pods and free recyclable bags with your order. The company responds quickly if you ask a question, and when your register your purchase, they send you 6 free boxes of coffee pods of your choice. And you can have Horlicks, hot chocolate and even green tea pods. One very happy customer.
A couple of years ago we bought our first Dolce Gusto coffee maker. 39 as a promotion with a set of coffee pods. We set it up and tried the americano, OMG because we are both coffee lovers we could not get enough. Long story short, we just bought our fourth machine a Dolce Gusto Genio s,
It is amazing, it’s automatic and there is a setting for extra pods. I use that sometimes to get more coffee.
We have tried all the different coffees and sometimes it’s hard to order more because they’re all excellent.
When a coffee machine is at the end of its life we don’t wait to get another one.
We worn the previous ones out never had a faulty one.
It’s the best thing in the coffee world
I’m really happy with my Dulce Gusto, the item arrived really quickly, would definitely recommend.

I really like it. I am very satisfied, I really recommend i
I love this machine, gives me an opportunity to make any drink of my choice, super fast and easy….love love love
I’ve only had this machine for a couple of weeks but have already seen the benefits of it. Yes, it’s quite small but you would get 2 decent sized mug fulls from the water tank and fits very neatly in the corner of the kitchen. The instructions that come with it are ok to follow if you’re used to picture instructions (IKEA). I had no problem with them and found them self explanatory, however, there’s plenty of info on the Internet to help if you’re struggling. The service I had with delivery was excellent and arrived the following day…unfortunately I didn’t have any pods to hand and as it was a Sunday afternoon delivery I had to wait the following day to try it out! Maybe Nescafe could include a pod in the box so you can get started? Anyway…now with pods and having ‘cleaned through’ the machine the coffee was amazing. It automatically shuts off when it’s reached the level you want and also has an adjustable temperature gauge…all very useful settings. The offer that comes with this machine is well worth taking up too…there is a simple application process to go through but then once it’s been accepted you have the choice of 6 boxes of any type of Nescafe Dolce Gusto plus 2 free recycling bags from their online shop…saving a few pence short of 24. I could go on extolling the virtues of this machine but will encourage you to find out for yourself. So far a very satisfied customer who’s enjoying barista style coffee in very convenient pods from an exceptional value coffee maker.
My new dolce gusto coffee machine is great coffee is superb and machine looks fantastic
A real step up from my old manual machine. Quicker, quieter and great that it automatically cuts off when cup full. Very happy with this purchase
What a improvement on my older machine easy and straight forward to use great coffee
bought as bday gift for daughter fantastic she loves it never had so much coffee everyone needs one

The only downside to this device is the cost of coffee if you only drink one now an then it’s good but trust me when I say it can easily burn a hole in your pocket an my guess is that it was cleverly engineered for that purpose great machine works great nothing wrong good price but my second guess is because they know you will be paying through the nose

Came quickly and efficiently- easy to set up and easy to use. I use it every day, it’s grea
Thought holds less water than other models it is so much easier to fill. No need to remove tank.
Got this for my mother for Xmas to replace her old tammisco which have stopped doing English tea but these have and the chocolate
Only thing which lets it dine she has a full cup and the tank drains empty but otherwise
One happy mother’s who is 77 years old so that’s how easy it is to operate

Was fed up with my Nespresso machine. Wanted more of a combination coffe /milk machine. Researched and this one came up tops. Simple to use. Limited mess, only when changing pods. Great variety of drinks available.
Only negative is the water tank size. At 0.8ltr have been caught out a couple of time with water running out in the middle of making multiple coffee’s but no great problem.

Great design, easy to clean and maintain i use in a daily basis and it makes great coffee. very simple to take the water compartment out to refill and put back, loving this produc
Easy to use however pods are still full of liquid after use. When I would assume they are supposed to be empty
It is soo nice.
To be honest i was waiting for the genio plus, but that was taking too long. So i saw the touch one model, and i did not find any difference to the genio plus model.
I love it. Is is a small model, my hand in the photo to create an idea. If you want something for home purpose, that won’t take much room on your counter this is perfect.
The coffee is absolutely delicious, for me that im an expresso drinker.
Totally recommend!
Easy to use little machine. Very quick and easy to use.
So far so good easy to use though was half the size of my old it still made same amount of coffees and it was nice to not have to sit and watch it ,I was always forgetting and it would spill over ,this one s automatic so perfect smaller lighter but does same job ,only prob trying to do the warrenty email one wouldn’t respond but other wise great value too

Super machine which takes up little space and is so easy to use
Comes with a wordless illustrated user guide which is about as much use as the proverbial chocolate teapot. Demonstrations on YouTube are not much better. If you fill the water tank from the tap and use a single capsule, you’ll get one SMALL (teeny) cup of lukewarm coffee. Fill the water tank with HOT (really hot, from the kettle) water and use two capsules, not one, and your day will be transformed.
Rather like a 300 super-duper mixer, it’s a bit of a gimmick. It can be made to work, but it’s a device designed primarily to sell hugely profitable coffee by the teaspoon. Personally, if I drank coffee (I don’t; my wife does), I’d just use Instant and a teaspoon. No machine to clean, no clutter, no faffing around, genuinely instant and nothing to go wrong.
So far I have found the dolce gusto pods are best? Although the ones from lidl are nice too.
My only annoyance with this machine so far is that it doesn’t seem to make particularly large coffees. I wouldn’t waste your money on the galaxy hot chocolate pods they are very watery.
The machine itself is tidy and quite simple to use, but I have experienced it drip a little after use? But fine if you just remove the pod quickly afterwards.
Good machine for a quick coffee, not tried a cold brew yet although it does have the option to create a cold coffee. Overall okay machine, but I do still have a milk frother in my cupboard in case!
I love it!!!’ It’s okay for 1 person or couple coffees, but the tank is quite small and needs to be refilled constantly!!! Apart of that; it’s a good little machine
I found this very hard to use. The user manual is in French and although it is also in picture it is not very clear. It certainly has plenty of details but as usual there is nothing in English and most of the wording is so small it requires a magnifying glass to read. I have phoned the help line twice but they seem rather vague and not really helpful. The coffee is nice once you can get one but I wish I had looked around before buying this one.
Bought for a Family Christmas present.
10/10.
Family use it daily and enjoying the different pods available.
Superb piece of kit. Our other one failed after years of extremely good use. This model is an upgrade on the other one. Easy to use, produces great coffee. 5stars!!!
This item was delivered promptly and well packaged it is easy to use and easy to clean. The capsules I bought separately from the machine are a good range of flavours and good tasting.

Thus coffee machine is very easy to use, looks very smart and make a lovely coffee with a number of flavour choices. Highly recommended
Smaller than previous Dolce Gusto coffee machines, with a very attractive design. this machine produces excellent coffee however you adjust the settings. All automatic, but you have to remember to check on the water level (if you are used to a bigger water container!), check on the temperature light (to make sure you don’t accidentally pour yourself a cold cup or merely lukewarm!), remove the capsule quite soon after making a cup (so that the lift mechanism which releases the capsule does not get ‘stuck’). So far pleased with it, but should reserve judgment for the longer term as these machines tend to leaking after a while (by that I mean a couple of years)
Love this machine!! This one is so easy to use and looks fantastic in our kitchen. Just pick your coffee/latte/espresso/chocolate or cappuccino, select the proper water amount and press the but with the cup. You can see from the video that the machine is fast to get your coffee ready and heating up takes less than 30 seconds. The pods we tried so far are Starbucks espresso, Starbucks hot chocolate (chocochino) nespresso cappuccino and nespresso latte macchiato and they all taste very good, rich taste and not diluted or bland. The temperature is really good and hot.
The water container is perfect for serving up to four cups. Very easy to refill and place back into the machine. I have absolutely no issues with the pump as reported on other De Longhi nespresso dolce gusto machines. I did have problems with the Nespresso Dolce Gusto Jovia!!! It was broken as it arrived so I sent it back and bought this one instead. Even if it hadn’t been broken I’d send it back because it’s not automatic like this one. All in all GREAT coffee maker and I do recommend it!!!! Hope this review helps you answer the question whether to buy it or not!
Bought one of these to replace an old Dolce Gusto machine. More techy as you do not have a lever and took me a little bit of time to get used to it. It’s quite dainty looking and not chunky, the only downside is that means I have to fill it up more often with water but it’s hardly worth losing a star over. It also fits store own Dolce Gusto pods. Would recommend.

It’s really easy to use and there is a good variety of coffee pods to match everybody’s favourite flavours.
The only bad thing was that I needed to use the cleaning needle before using it because no water was coming out. This was not really intuitive for a new user of the machine.
Great little machine , easy to use and accepts compatible pods well .
It’s so easy to work and clean a love what a great buy
It was present for my mother in low she is love i
Only been using it a week and although Instructions were not clear, I watched a video on how to clean it first. It’s simple to use once you know the procedure and coffee tastes lovely.I bought pods from Amazon but also cheaper ones from supermarket x3 boxes of 16 pods for 10, Americano Intenso being my fave flavour as it’s strong.
Im not sure the “touch” part is essential and the cheaper Genio S Plus would be just as good
When my old Krupps machine gave up I got this impeccable coffee machine. The manual is easy to use and I got great coffee after a few tries. It is also easy to clean. One improvement I want to propose is to abandon plastic pods and use environmentally friendly paper bags as one competitor has recently done successfully.

Absolutely delighted with this compact machine. Excellent flavoured drinks dispensed quickly and efficiently. Very practical and stable design.
I have upgraded from a manual dolce gusto coffee machine this is so much easier before I had to measure the water and pour it into a cup then more or less remember where the level was this machine does that for you also I have a small kitchen and it doesn’t take up a lot of room. Love the coffee and the different hot chocolate flavours highly recommend.
I absolutely love this coffee maker! Couldn’t make head nor tail of instructions … but sussed it out in a minute! Easy to use, excellent results!
Produces great coffee using the pods, better than my previous model. Only drawback is the usability. I have the fully touch sensor model and when opening the clamp to put pods in it is easy to touch the settings bar and have to reset the settings. Instructions are poor and the clamp for inserting the pods is far from user friendly. I would think that anyone with poor dexterity in their thumbs might find it a problem.

Christmas present request for my daughter hope she will like i
Bought this as a replacement for an older model. Good compact shape, easy to use & has the option of hot or cold drinks. This was bought as an early Christmas present for my mum and she was very pleased.
Excellent buy, only takes up a small space on the worktop and produces a great cup of coffee
I brought this to replace my tassimo, as I couldn’t seem to buy many flavours for it.
I looked at all the dolce gusto range and wanted an automatic machine, and found this best value for the features.
It makes hot drinks in 3 different temperatures from warm to very hot , cold drinks such as milk shake and ice coffee (use your own ice). You can go with the measured water amounts recomended by the pid, or you can choose to add extra water to get a mug full. The same prices allows you to make your coffee stronger to taste.
I’ve managed to find locally many more flavours of coffee and chocolate, and the price is compatible with tassimo T discs.
I’m very happy with this unit and would recommend it over a manual one. It has all the features you need, looks good, and is easy to use.
Go test yourself!
Long gone are the days of casual Starbucks or costa coffee, or a Marks and Spencer’s trip with a nice carrot cake.
The De’Longhi Dolce is a wonderful choice for home coffee at it’s finest. Very simple to operate, there is a super collection of tastes to keep even the most casual drinker, or hot chocolate lover happy.
I like the idea of quantity as my wife only like a small one. (cup) so this is more than adequate for our needs.
I not a fan of the brewed coffee it’s kind of a lot of effort to make prepare, etc.
So you want a nice cuppa, that’s the absolute must for any coffee machine, you can’t go wrong here.
Good strong material finish, pretty easy to clean when you need, just like everything be sure not to drink all day long, moderation people!.
Well recommended.
A nice looking machine that looks good alongside my Nespresso compatible machine and filter machine. Yeah I like my coffee. What I like about this in particular is how little I have to do to get a mug of coffee now. I’ve only bought Nescaf’s ‘Grande’ pods so far so I’ve not tried the two pod Cappuccino / Latte varieties.
With my Nespresso type pod machine I can only make an espresso, so I’d have to use a milk heater/frother to get a latte or milk & hot water to get an Americano. The Dolce Gusto cuts out all of that ‘faff’.
Easy to use and good looking (though I think I’m alone in not liking the red cable), it quickly and easily makes a nice coffee. I can see my percolator getting no attention. I also like the adjustable temperature which was a nice surprise as I didn’t remember reading that.
As I’ve seen in other reviews – ALL pod machines should come with samples, even if just a few because it’s horrible waiting for your next online shopping delivery when the machine is there and ready to go.
Doesn’t take up much room. Instructions not especially clear but you can work it out from the pictures. I have had two other coffee machines and always used boiled water as I like my coffee piping hot. This machine really heats the water well so no need to use the kettle. This is the first automatic machine I gf ave had and already I would not go back. Looking forward to trying all the different coffees as it was too much faff to use flavours that needed two pods before. The machine leaked badly initially but I followed advice from previous reviews and removed the little spring from under the water container. Early days but so far I am very pleased with this purchase.
This is a brilliant coffee machine. It’s not a Nespresso, so it would be very unfair to compare to it to one. This machine does a variety of drinks that you can’t get with a Nespresso and so if you are looking for ‘variety’ then this is the machine that you need to go for. It gives you so much choice and puts you in control.
The DG Genio is shockingly compact — I had the DG mini-me and thought that was small so I never imagined that an ‘automatic’ dolce gusto machine could come in this ultra-compact size which is perfect for small kitchens — compact yet big enough to give you 4 drinks at 200mls each (the water tank has a capacity of 800ml). This machine is ‘automatic’ — this means that you can set the drink water level and let it dispense without having to stand watch over it as it will never go over. It also lets you choose the size of the drink from small to XL.
With a myriad of DG Nescafe pods and many more compatible ones (on Amazon and elsewhere) you will never be out of choice and you’ll be able to find your perfect drink for every mood and occasion. The drink quality from is wonderful and the hot drinks are indeed very hot!
Its stylish and well-constructed and I love the red cord because it makes it so much to easier to spot the cord from the bundle of cords for other kitchen appliances.
Easy to maintain, clean and descale. The cheaper dolce gusto machines don’t come with a descaling alert system — but this machine does which I find very helpful. It warns when it needs a descale so you can prepare yourself. Over time, this machine pays its worth many times over because it gives quality drinks at a cheaper price than coffee shops and at the convenience of your home. Superb at everything it does and would recommend without a second thought.

Great little machine and asset to any kitchen so small and compact but gives a Big flavour coffee every time and I was impressed with the results.Let’s call it a belated birthday treat! This De’Longhi machine has a small footprint, and sits neatly on my kitchen worktop. It makes delicious coffee in a matter of seconds. It’s so easy to use, too.A useful feature is the ability to adjust the espresso and lungo dispensing levels to suit your cups. My machine came with an assorted box of capsules. I used the enclosed booklet and circled my favourite blends.I am so pleased I treated myself to this little machine. I have no hesitation recommending this De’Longhi machine.
I’ve had a dolce gusto before (a much older style) and I am pleased to say that this newer model is an improvement, it is quicker and quieter.
Before making any drinks you have to fill the water tank at the back and run it through with just water to make sure the machine is clean. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with any sample pods (this was no problem for me as have them in the house anyway). There are some really great pods out there, my go to is the latte. The water tank is 800ml so you will get a few cups out of a tank.
It is a small neat coffee maker and a nice design. It sits nicely on the kitchen worktop. You can select different cup size depending on the pod. All in all a great little machine.
This is the second Nescaf Dolce Gusto that I own, the previous one I gave it to a dear friend of mine when I moved from Mexico City to relocate back to Europe.
I always liked this coffee machine, and this is an upgrade to my old one.
This one as a screen to see how much coffee is the machine going to pour in, you can decide if you want your coffee in 4 different temperature which is great, especially for these days when you don’t have time to wait half an hour for your coffee to be drinkable, and it has the button for the espresso boost.
As for every Dolce Gusto, it turns itself off after a minute or so if you don’t use it to avoid wasting electricity.
Easy to use, I think it’s a perfect coffee machine for those who are appreciate a machine able to serve them fast and excellent coffee.
This is a great upgrade from the previous models. It has an XL button which makes a mug of coffee, the last model we had was lacking this. I love the fact that the pods show you the correct setting to make the perfect cuppa.
My video shows you how simple it is to make your coffee and how nice it turns out. You can smell the quality as it pours. There are so many different coffees to explore, including Starbucks and Costa pods on top of the great variety from Nescafe. The pods can be a little pricey in places but our local supermarket sells them the cheapest and when they are on offer even cheaper! Make sure you descale as advised in the manual as it will glog eventually but descalling is an easy process.
You can even make cold coffee if you like (not for me), just keep in mind it takes a while for it to cool down after doing hot coffees so do your cold coffees first.
Overall, this is a great addition to any kitchen. It feels like a treat every time i make myself a coffee (or hot chocolate or caramel macchiato). It is small enough to fit in a tiny kitchen too, the bug model was a little more bulky. I highly recommend this coffee maker, even if only used as a once a day treat. Oh and you can get Skinny Cappuccinos and lattes too for the my fellow slimmers out there 😉
Lovely machine much smaller than my last one . Easy to use lots of froth on coffee only down side are instructions are not very good but as i have used these machines for years i could work it out smaller but same power so very happy takes up less space on worktop
This is amazing. To start with it is a brilliant size so doesn’t take up the whole of the kitchen worktop like some machines do. The range of pods available is mind blowing. It is worth experimenting with the different settings until you get a drink that is perfect for you, we are all different. The speed is fantastic. Seriously, it really is. Slip the pod in, fill up the water tank and within a minute your drink is good to go. I can highly recommend this if you re looking for a coffee machine that delivers on every promise.
Absolutely fantastic for that quick coffee in the morning…does Expresso, Americano Cuppiccino Ice , Cafe au lait, and many more drinks hot and cold.
Just a perfect size for your work top..
This machine has revolutionised my morning routine. It really is as simple as putting in a pod, turning a dial and pressing a button.
To make a latte takes about 90 seconds and half a tank of water so you and your other half can both have your hot drinks ready in less time than it takes to just boil the kettle.
The dial tells the machine how much water to dispense and the boxes of pods you can buy have recommended dial settings, but I find that it is best to experiment a little to make your drink as big or small as you want.
There are many drinks options available in most supermarkets, including hot chocolate versions of some delicious, brand-name chocolate treats so even kids will love it.
Dulce Gusto Coffee machine that is good looking and very, very fast. It does say it takes 40 seconds, I think that must be 40 seconds until you are taking your first sip, not from when you turn the machine on. That just tells me how old fashioned my old machine is for it takes ages. This Dolce Gusto makes a lovely cuppuccino, just like the ones you have if you are out. It does Expresso, Americano Cuppiccino Ice , Cooffee au lait, Lungo and many more drinks hot and cold. It’s not a very big machine so sits nicely on a kitchen worktop. One thing that I didn’t particularly like is the instructions, they are not clear, they are OK if you are used to coffee machines but first timers would expect a little more in writing, all you get are drawings and numbers, I am not giving it less stars for this as I think the machine is worth more than five and first timers will get the hang of it, but it may take longer than expected. Recommended.
A small to mid sized coffee matching that doesn’t take up too much room on the worktop and produces coffee shop style coffee at home at the touch of a button.
The machine is neat and stylish, looking good on the kitchen worktop- which is important as it will no doubt be used several times a day and so will not be tucked away out of use in a cupboard.
The water tank is easy to fill and easy to clean.
I find the temperature of the drinks to be hot, not quite as warm as boiling water from a kettle but hot enough for me to allow it to cool for a few minutes before drinking.
It is pretty good noise wise, being quiet enough not to disturb a sleeping house if you’re up and out early for work and as it produces your drink quickly any noise is short lived anyway.
There is a huge range of drinks for these machines, from coffee to soup all readily available in the coffee aisle or on Amazo
