This Mute is wonderful!!! I do not have to move any of my tuning slides to adjust intonation.

Excellent product. Fits and works well on a Besson Prestige (for the few times you need this…)!

This mute was for my husband. He says it’s 4 stars because it gives a characteristic metallic sound for an aluminum mute.

No modifications required! I worked perfectly with my Willson right out of the box. Highly recommend this mute for large bore euphonium.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had one of those stone-lined mutes for several years, when I played a euphonium with an 11″ bell. When I moved to a euphonium with a 12″ bell, the stone-lined mute was too small and made the horn go terribly out-of-pitch. I bought this Denis Wick spun aluminum mute and it works very well with my new euphonium. It’s a bit large and awkward to carry around, although it does have a convenient leather handle on the end. The important thing is that it does the job with my 12′-bell euphonium!
