This patio / general outdoor heater works very well.
It doesn’t dry the air like fan heaters do but simply heats whatever the red light lands on.

It has a physical rocker switch on top, encased in rubber to keep it weatherproof.

But it then requires further control, either with onboard buttons or the intuitive remote.
So it can’t be used with exterior control of mains power, which is a shame as I have a super thermostat plug I’d like to use with this.

It does, however, have 3 selectable heat levels plus an option to have it tun off after a set time.

The mains lead is way too short (just over 1.5 Metres) and has a standard ‘indoor’ mains plug on the end.
I’d personally prefer a long lead without a plug so I can choose how to install it.

Still, it is as described and heats well, looks tidy, is unobtrusive and attractive.

Installed this in my workshop. It works well and is effective. Easy to install with a couple of screws ino a wood joist and the cable was long enough for a high level socket outlet. The remote control is essential and works well. Worth the money. Highly recommended

Easy to install in our 3x4m garden office and even on a cold day warms the place quickly and after a few minutes the lowest of 3 power levels is needed.

I bought this for localised heating, to stand in the bathroom doorway instead of putting the central heating on. It works a treat, I have only used it on the low setting and it works wonderfully well. Highly recommended. This is the type of heater used on bathroom walls but can be moved from room to room as necessary. It might be called a patio heater in some advertising, I would call it a go anywhere heater. Extremely good value when you compare other prices. Just buy it.

Obviously this is best used somewhere with some type of sheltering, if you have a fenced or walled off area, as any sort of breeze is going to rob you of a significant amount of the heat output.
It’s finished in brushed stainless steel & black plastic, there’s a good bit of weight in the base of it, so it’ll remain stable.
The heating element reminds me of a very chunky children’s shoelace, but it does its job very well, blasting out the heat. It’s behind a metal grate to help protect you & it, but that grate will still get seriously hot, so beware.
With a power output of 2kW, as of April 2022, it’s going to cost you around 60p per hour to run it, if turned up full.
There’s a little remote control included, for power adjustment & a sleep timer, up to 4 hours. I guess incase you doze off with it running, as I’d be a bit reluctant to leave it unattended for any length of time.
The actual glow from the heater is a very warm lighting effect, as well as the actual heat given off.
It does have some water resistance to it, but personally, I wouldn’t be looking to leave it out in the rain.
Ultimately, it’s effective & will see you enjoying the garden/patio, later into the evening than you would without it. Roll on summer.

In the box you get the Heater, Remote Control inc Battery, Base, 4 x Large Screws, 1 x Small Screw and Instructions. Attaching the base to the heater is only a matter of putting in the large screws. I laid the heater on the box it came in and then attached the base, it only took about a minute with an electric screwdriver. The base is heavy but not overly so. I have no idea where the small screw is supposed to go.

The main on/off button sits underneath a plastic cover on the top and then the manual controls sit on the top front and of course you have the remote as well.

When you first turn on, the display comes up with P0, which means it is on but not heating. Pushing the button on the front panel or remote takes you between 650W, 1350W and 2000W. With the remote you can select these individually but with the manual control you need to scroll through. Not that hard as there is only 3 (well 4 if you include off) settings.

You then have a timer and on both the remote and manually you need to scroll through hourly between 1 and 24 hours.

When you turn the heat on, it is pretty much instantaneous and works very much like the old-fashioned electric bar heaters. Although it is quicker to heat up. The front grill does get very hot. There is nothing to push the heat out, so it just radiates out. So, the further away you are from the heat, the less you are going to get and anything in the way is going to block it. Particularly as this is floor standing. I would say this is better for smaller areas and/or where there is the space is more open.

It is IP34 rated, so it can withstand water spray, not jets, from any direction. I have not tested it in those conditions, so am unable to comment on that. Nor can I comment on the reliability of it in the medium-long term. There is quite a lot of exposed metal, which does make me wonder, if it gets wet, how susceptible it is to rust?

Obviously, you are going to need access to an electrical socket and be mindful of the trailing cable.

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

Very easy to put together. Instant heat. Better suited for smaller and/or more open spaces.

Reasonable price to extend the time I can spend on my garden. Didn’t have the space for a tall propane heater and this is nice and toasty. Perfect for this cold day

I originally ordered this for the garden and come summer it will definitely be put to use outside but after the heavy winds recently my guttering had become damaged. You will see from my pictures the damage caused to my inside wall.

I’m currently using this to dry out that wall before assessing the damage and whether or not I will need to have the plaster removed and redone.

The heater itself is very stylish. I was surprised by how good it actually looked once assembled. It’s a stainless steal look and really would suit any environment in my view.

It’s simple as hell to assemble, you have a base weighted plate and a cover that sits in-between the heater and base. It takes four screws and that’s it! Once locked it’s sturdy and holds without any slanting.

On the top you have a manual power button which you’ll need to press and then you have two buttons which function identically to the remote. You press once on the side power button to go through the modes and the other button is a timer. You can select upto 24 hours which is brilliant if your looking to keep a room or area warm for a specific time. The timer acts as a countdown timer, set one hour and it will turn off in one hour.

On the remote the functions are easier to set, you can specifically pick the desired wattage needed and also select the timer in increments.

I found the heater gave off a good amount on the lowest. More than enough for a crisp night and the highest was very powerful. Distance wise I could stand three meters and it would be perfect coverage.

As mentioned I’m using this to dry out my walls right now but come summer it will be in the garden. I’m putting separate sockets for heaters outside when the weather improves and take note this is a maximum 2000w. Make sure your sockets can handle this and do not overload, I doubt I’ll ever have it on 2000w however.

Worth noting it’s light but study and can easily be stored on a shed. I have a bad back and it was easy to set up and move.

    Excellent heat and looks stylish

This patio heater it’s really good, it heats up very quickly and it can be controlled by remote control or manually. I have to say that compared to others this one is very good value and it works perfectly and gives enough heat to what is around. 100% recommend it.

This is a very effective patio heater that is perfect for heating a small to medium sized patio area. It does take a bit of putting together when it arrives but nothing too bad. Once set up you can either control it from the control panel at the top of the spine of the heater it the included remote control, which does not come with the 2 AAA batteries required but the remote does work well, it and the built in control panel are both really easy and straightforward to use.

The heat output from this is really strong, luckily it has different power settings which really help you get a comfortable heat from it, also given the amount of heat this puts out I think the lower settings are definitely going to be more economical to run. The design of the unit is also great, it is definitely one of the most stylish looking patio heaters I have seen. The only of the slight gripe I have is the length of the power cable, it is 1.8 meters, which is relatively long, but we have needed to run an extension cable to get it to the position we want in our garden.

We have been using this in our back garden and so far have been very impressed. The assembly took very little time and it was bigger than expected. It took a short while to heat up and when going put out a lot of warmth, certainly enough for a patio space on a chilly evening. It is designed to be kept outside and I will be covering it (obviously ensuring its cool first) to protect it from the elements but the build quality is good and the included remote control very useful.

Great heater purchased in summer but could not install in my outdoor area until recently. I have only used in winter admittedly and it was mostly on 3kw setting but it was really cold outside .. this product really made a difference to the comfort levels outdoors.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, this heater actually looks much better in reality.

Yes, some of the ‘chrome’ is very shiny plastic, but overall the heater looks very good and would actually look fine indoors or outdoors.

As it’s wet, windy and really too cold at the momentI haven’t been able to try this outdoors yet, which is wheer I want to use it, but indoors the heat output seems pretty good. As an upright heater the heating effect is probably not going to be as good as the heaters mounted under your garden umbrella, for example, and the person closest to the heater may be a lot warmer than everyone else, but the heater does seem to throw its heat pretty well thanks to the reflectors around the heating tube.

The manual has a long list of warnings regarding not covering the heater, not blocking vents etc, but one warning to note is that the manufacturers do not recommend the use of extension leads. This is a bit of a problem as the heater only comes with a 2m power lead. This will make using it outside a bit of a problem unless you have an outside socket exactly where you need it. The manual then goes on to say that if you really must use an extension lead then it should be at least “1.5m minimum size”. This is an odd requirement and I wonder if they actually mean that the lead should have conductors of at least 1.5mm diameter as the length of the lead should have no bearing on safety. One thing that they do not say, which they should, in relaton to extension leads is that if you use a wind up lead then you shoudl uncoil that lead fully if using to power this heater – otherwise the extension coil will become another heating coil and melt itself!

I also find it a little odd that the timer function is for 1 to 24 hours in one hour increments. Thats nice and easy to display on the heaters display panel, but who is going to run a heater for 24hours until it automatically switches off… I would have thought a timer that runs in half hour intervals up to maybe 6 hours would be more useful.

Finally, the heater is rated IP34. This means it is protected against solid objects over 2.5mm in size entering the unit (IP3x) and protected against water splashing from any angle (IPx4). This means that it should be OK in light rain BUT you should not have the heater switched on in rain due to a) the risk of electric shock and b) cold water on the hot surfaces could cause damage. I could not find any mention of this in the manual’s warnings.

In theory you could store the heater outside with this rating, but I would sugegst covering it – when it has fully cooled down – to protect from the elements.

The heater has three heat settings, which is handy, spaced at roughth one third, two thirds and full power.

How much will it cost to run? Well, at full power (2kW) running it for an hour will cost you double your electricity suppliers kWh charge. In 2020 the average cost in the UK per kWh was just over 17p. With the price rises due this year you can expect this heater to cost around 50p per hour, or slightly more, on full power. Not cheap, but if you want to keep warm outside on a chilly spring evening…

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat product! Nice heat wave, good spreading of the heat direction. Can be operated without the remote control (function, I found by accident), by pressing the buttons near the “on/off” and “timer” symbols. Have been using the product since November and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who is looking for energy efficient and good heat during winter months. I forgot to mention that I have turned my garage into a cinema room, because it is too narrow for my car to get in, so I had to utilise the space somehow. It is where I have put to use this heater, and I must confess, that I’ve watched quite a lot of films this this winter. All in a warm and cosy atmosphere. 🙂

Everyone needs this in their garden, all you need to do is screw on the base and plug it in.
The heat is instant and you have different levels of heat controlled by the little remote or on the actual heater.
Is IP rated so can handle a bit of rain.

    Instant and easy to assemble

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe have been struggling to keep warm this winter, I have a lung condition and being cold isn’t good. We live in a property that is almost 100 years old with no central heating, our 30-year-old storage heaters aren’t great. When I had the chance to try this heater I thought it was worth a try. I had tried several types of electric heaters over the years. This is the first carbon fibre heater I have tried. Although it is advertised as a patio heater it looks fantastic in the living room, it has a very small footprint so is not intrusive. It has a nice modern design and looks really neat. After putting it in place and getting organised I switched it on to the medium setting, I have never seen a heater heat up so quickly, this is amazing for coming in from the cold, no waiting to get cosy. It has 3 heat settings, low is perfect during the day, and I switch to medium of an evening, if we get bad snow and ice I know there is the high setting available. The remote control is brilliant, no need to ask my dog to get off my lap It would go great in any room.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a very impressive patio heater, much like the ones we have relied on in restaurants and cafes around Europe and more recently in the UK to enable eating outside even when it is rather cold.

The heater is very easy to put together – there are simple instructions but it is fairly intuitive. You will need two AAA batteries for the remote ( although we are highly likely just to use the controls on the heater itself) and a Philips screwdriver to screw in the little plate that hold the power cord in place. With that it takes only a few minutes to put together.

The unit comes with a 1.8m cord. To be honest for us we need more flexibility so we are using an extension cable reel. Having outdoor power sockets would be useful, but we are using ours with power from indoor sockets and the extension.

The heater has three power settings with noticeably higher heat output with each. The controls to set the level, and if you wish the duration you want the heat on for, are on the top of the heater and easy to access and to use. When running it gives off a decent heat, especially at the highest, 2000w, level

The heater looks great on our patio and it is very reassuring that it is waterproof – no worries about showers or splashes from a sprinkler. You will want to order a cover though if you intend leaving it outside.

The unit is fairly heavy but not too heavy to move around. The base is stable and the heater should be stable even in fairly strong winds.

The whole thing looks very stylish as you would expect for what is not a cheap piece of kit, but most importantly it will allow more time outside when it is cold and on cool evenings- roll on Spring!
