Very easy to use, dog trys to pull off but doesn’t manage it. Stops pulling as bad.

It took me a while to order, has I had tried everything, that said your dog will no longer pull, but I can say with this, My cockapoo no longer pulls, he is walking along side by me, it is now a dream to walk him, as before he nearly pulled me to the ground. He does try and pull it off, but when he realises it’s not coming off, he will carrying on walking. Very easy to use.

It works – even on a lovable crazy springer /labrador cross.

I’ve spent so much money on a variety of different harnesses and leashes to be able to walk my Springer Spaniel without pulling and this very straight forward and simple solution is the only one that works. At least for now.

The dog is still trying to take it off and actually has scratched his nose because of it, but hopefully he’ll get used to it at some poi

I got this lead after seeing my sister’s dog dramatically change once using it. I was very hopeful as my cheeky Beagle is one heck of a puller. The lead came really quickly and packaged well.

We tried it on but unfortunately, it was not suitable for my pooch. His dewclaws quickly frayed the rope material and he was able to grip it and pull it off, even if we pulled tighter. I have now tried with an alternative lead that sits flat against his nose and it works wonders.

We have given this lead as a spare to my sister and they are very happy with the product.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersLike other reviewers, I’ve tried numerous items to stop a headstrong Springer, and none worked. Harnesses cut up under her legs and seemed to give her something to enjoy pulling against, and I’ve tried so many. This was my last effort as I got fed up of being the crazy lady trying to hold on to her with one arm with the lead wrapped around my wrist, slowly losing circulation in my hand, and with a 4 year old child asking why I am always so cross when out walking. FINALLY I can walk stress free!

This is gentle, so much better than buying any old length of rope and using it in a figure of eight around the muzzle, but that is all this is, and it seems all that’s needed!

Our dog has tried dropping her nose to sniff and quickly swipe at it with her paws to get it off, but only fleetingly and hasn’t caused her any upset, and she’s a nervy dog.

Definitely agree the metal attachment that is supposed to go from it to a collar is too flimsy and would want a carabena like someone else posted.

    Life changer.

Really works. Don’t normally write reviews but this is good. Yes – it’s simply a slip lead but very light weight, and the most important thing is that it releases the pressure when the dog accepts it. It works the same as a rope halter on a horse, and just as effectively. My 9 month old male GSD was starting to pull me around but I can hold this lead lightly in one hand and he walks beautifully by my side. Also works to stop lunging/chasing as – if you use it properly – the dog should immediately turn back to you so you can reinforce and reward the leave command kindly. Other slip leads might work but I’m happy paying for this material. Thanks

I have a rescue dog with a number of issues as well as the fact that he is extremely strong and pulls constantly. I have tried other leads but he actually does not mind this one and it is so easy to put on. It feels like one less battle I have with him and this makes walking him a pleasure again.

I was sceptical about this as the rope doesn’t seem too strong, but it really is. My 2 year old springer spaniel walks heel to heel with me now! He usually chokes himself on his normal extendable lead and now he can’t! The only problem is the clip on the lead to attach to his collar, I can’t get it back off so I have to remove his collar when the lead comes off. But I suppose it could easily be replaced. Duke is a new dog now

I’ve got a very pully four year old Weimaraner who knows how to walk perfectly in classes but forgets it all when he smells anything (and everything) outside. I’ve tried harnesses but find they rub under his arms if we’re out for long walks and he’s off the lead so I thought I’d give this a try. The change in behaviour on the lead was instant and unbelievable, he becomes a well mannered chap who’s happy to walk alongside without pulling over to every new smell. The only downside is he won’t have a number 2 wearing it but, if its a lead only walk, its a simple swap to use it as a traditional slip lead when he wants to get on with the important things!

It actually is amazing, how well such a simple thing does work! If your dog does not listen or follow your commands and you’re tired after every walk, that’s over with this lead from the second, you put it on! And my dog tried desperately to get rid of it, no way, it just keeps working fine!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to on this one!!!! This lead must be sprinkled with magic because we have spent so much money on leads, harnesses, nose collars etc, that have never worked with our sprocker and we were feed up with coming back from a walk with one arm longer than the other due to his pulling ,as soon as we put this lead on him you could tell it workerd , it doesn’t cover his eyes like the other muzzle collars did and he makes no attempt to pull at all , IT REALY WORKS, chuffed to bits with it a must buy!!!!!!!!

I have literally tried lead , harness and collar on our muscly , incredibly strong bulldog cross rescue . It’s got to the point I had to leave him at home , when my lab and gsd and I go out for walks z because his pulling and lunging was dangerous , I was actually considering having him rehomed because I can’t walk him , and husband can only take him for short walks now and again due to work . I put this harness on him and walked home up and down my street , and he was completely unable to pull ! It’s an actual miracle lead ! Given 4 stars not five only because I haven’t taken him on a proper long walk and don’t know how comfortable it would be for him . Can’t wait to take him for a long walk tomorrow

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersAfter spending pounds on a large variety of head collars, a different figure of 8 lead, harnesses etc and 2 different dog trainers (!!!!), we were impressed with the reviews so thought what the heck, let’s give them a go and aren’t we glad we did. Hand on heart, our two girls are actually not pulling. Can’t say enough about how this has improved our walking enjoyment. No more arms being pulled out of sockets. My dog actually comes to me now for her lead to be put on and we have a lot of tail wagging – this not so good because their tails are like whips! Can’t recommend highly enough.

What did we do without this lead…struggled! Our puppy responds so well with this lead in social spaces – especially when the adrenaline kicks in and he gets selective hearing. Also when he is tired and testing us. Truly helps him to focus on instruction and therefore understand expectations. Sincerely recommend this product. Very simple and truly clever.

I have a 12-month-old GSD cross – basically 27 Kg of power. Although she can be fine on the lead, as a young dog she has a strong tendency to pull when on a traditional lead attached to a collar. I tried this new lead for the first time last night, introducing it slowly so she didn’t become too stressed. I got it on her ok. When we started to walk she immediately had a temper tantrum, leaping around and trying to get the lead off her muzzle. If this happens to you, do what I did – wait for the dog to calm down and let her get used to it. Reassure her. 5 minutes later I honestly thought I had a new dog with me. The was no pulling at all, her tail was up, ears not back so not obviously distressed. Its still very early days but my initial thoughts are that this is going to be the way forward, at least until she has learnt proper heelwork at which point I will just use this lead as a traditional slip lead. The slight elasticity of the ‘rope’ is also good, as it acts as something of a shock absorber for both dog and handler. If I have one reservation, its that the clip that should be attached to the dog’s collar is quite small and fiddly, but this does not detract from the main functioning of the lead. 5 Stars.

Incredible. Before I bought this, he used to pull so much, once he even dislocated my shoulder from pulling, but within the first couple of days, this lead did miracles. He pulls a bit now, but nowhere near what he used to before, I highly recommend it especially if you have a Springer Spaniel like me, who gets crazy when he sees something he likes. It got to the point where I couldn’t take him to walks before I got this lead, but thank god I bought it. 10/10 would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI adopted a 2 year old GSD 3 weeks ago, who has never been socialised and literally dragged me on my first few walks (I’m 68kg and he is 38kg), so much so that i was in pain and had to keep him inside to play – which is totally wrong for a working breed.

I sought a trainer – an ex police dog handler – who introduced me to this lead and showed me how to use it. He recommended this over a choke chain as you need to be trained in how to use one of those.

For 2 weeks we have been taking walks and I won’t lie – it’s hard work- but he is getting better walking to heel and when he sees a dog I can hold him in one place (or pull him along to avoid confrontation), so it is definitely working!

I’ve also bought some tea tree oil cream to use after our walks so his nose doesn’t get too sore.

I would recommend novice or less confident owners seek training before using this.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis product does control your dog, I have a very strong husky who loves going anywhere so tries to pull me along with him, this product is great as the strength required to control your dog is less than 20% you would use if you used a normal lead. Main problem I have is how comfortable this is on my dogs snout, initially after using it, it made where the rope lies on the snout slightly rough, I assumed this is due to friction, however I felt it little but more and wondered why it was rough and it was due to dry up blood as just like rope burn can happen on your hand it can still happen on your dog nose. I would recommend the company to create a more softer material for the part that lies on the dog nose as he must feel some pain because of this. I read some reviews having problems of their dog becoming free, I added a small chain which clips on the metal ring of the lead and his collar as an extra safety precaution he hasn’t got out yet but just to be on the safe sides.

A miracle. This worked instantly for my stubborn 10 year old Dalmatian- believe me nothing else has worked. I also brought one for a friend’s 18 month GSD and! Hey Presto, another success. It is really only a slip lead so quite pricey for what it is but I didn’t mind as it does the job. The Dalmatian did manage to slip off the nose loop though but it just reverted to a slip lead so was not dangerous.

Customer product review. The lead is made of soft rope like material and when slipped onto the dog the nose part does not ride up or dig in. For people who have dogs that pull strongly I would recommend this lead. From the moment I put it on walking the dog (spaniel) so much easier. Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersFantastic! I was sceptical that this would help my 8 month old Cockapoo from pulling but I was getting desperate after trying training/harnesses. He was pulling so hard that a couple of times I nearly lost my balance, although I am young and fit, it was becoming increasing difficult to walk him.
Several people recommended this product to me and so eventually I thought I would give it a try, especially as it was not too expensive compared to some other leads/harnesses that are supposedly ‘no pull’. What a difference! He immediately stopped pulling and it has made dog walks pleasurable. Easy to put on and comfortable for the dog. Of course, I will continue with the training, but this will really help along the way. Thank you!

Unbelievable transformation in our dog – from pulling and yanking on his lead he now ‘walks’ calmly by our side, yes, at times he tries to revert to lunatic mode, but generally he realises it is useless to resist – quite a reformed character. Moreover, the action of the anti-pull lead doesn’t seem to cause any stress and he enjoys his walks as much as ever!

Great halti/lead looks smart comfy had a different type of halti for my staffy and didn’t work as well as this one this is great quality and our walks are much nicer with no pulling so more comfy for the both of us. Very pleased will stick to these halti/leads

This is the second one we have had, they are excellent,we have a beautiful springer, and I could not walk him without the control the lead gives me.I did not intend to buy another so soon, but in the dark, and pouring rain, after his free run,I put the darn thing in his mouth, not under his chin,he chewed it!Oops.

Fantastic why haven’t I seen it before if your dog pulls just try it they don’t always like it at first but soon get used to it if YOU persevere

Brilliant wish I’d of got this ages ago. I have a 16 month old border terrier and he’s a hand full pulls my arms off and tryst to play with everyone when passing. I have 2 dogs so I’ve not been able to walk them both together for over 8 months as I can’t handle the pulling. I’ve had this lead a week and God what a difference in have full control over him and he now walks close to me with no fuss.

I read the review’s on line so decided to buy two of the lead’s for our two springer’s which like most pull all the time the lead’s are fantastic no more pulling no more backache they have tryed to get them off but have not succeeded.I would recommend the lead’s.

    Great lead.

With our Lab we tried normal leads, slip leads, and two different halters. The ones that worked were a faff to put on. This figure 8 lead controls his pulling but is as quick to put on as a standard slip. The rope is really soft so no worry of chaffing the nose like a normal slip would.

My lab actually looks for me to put it on rather than cower from it.

I bought two of these – Red & Green. The green one is perfect but the red was a little too think to use in figure of 8 as I had wanted.

This is the second time I have purchased these leads and they were from my friends who have seen ours in use. Good quality leads which are soft with no hard parts.

    Cannot recommend enough

good quality lead, has already stopped our Springer from pulling our arms off after just 2 days. I wish I had tried this sooner as we have amassed the complete array of different leads/harnesses to try & stop her pulling over the last 3 years.

This lead is brilliant. Previously my wife struggled to hold the dog (Springer) as he pulled a lot on the lead. Now my 4 year old daughter can walk him.

    Really impressed with it.

What a fantastic invention no clips or messing about just slip over your dogs head and twist then over the nose. Because of the position that the lead sits in you have ultimate control my dog now walks to heal without any pulling. Best buy of mine ever.

I have just kept a pup on from my litter and this is the 3rd lead I have purchased…. Need I say more. Superb level of service from Dog and Field again. Product is fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone.

This has worked a treat on training my eight month Deerhound pup to walk to heel without pulling. The lead is easy to put on and does not ride up the nose. I’m now finding I need to use it less and less as he’s getting used to the idea of how to walk nicely on a lead. Walking my two large dogs is now a pleasure.

I have a Labradoodle that pulls I’m little and his big, I’ve tired lots of different things including canny collar, harness etc but this works I now can walk all three big dogs together.

My lab pulls and hard! The slip lead has no effect against his neck of steel and it is relentless… Until I ordered this lead. The pulling IMMIDIATELY STOPPED, and he showed no signs of distress. This lead also doesn’t seem to pull his eye up into a squint like other halt leads. So far, fully recommend!

Great lead which stops pulling, my dog isn’t too happy about wearing it though. Also didn’t find the instructions very helpful so had to watch a youtube to work out how to put it on.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersDecided to try this lead to stop my springer pulling my arm off on a harness, wow this will save you all the hassle. My dog still try’s to shake and paw the nose band off at times but is getting used to it. He now walks along side us and doesn’t even attempt to pull, even my 4 year can hold the lead it has changed his behaviour that much.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersExcellent lead perfect for training your dog and greatly reduces your dog from pulling. Have tried other kinds of leads and harnesses on my wired haired Fox terrier this had no affect. The figure 8 lead is 100% reliable and works

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAMAZING is alli can say after trying many leads and harnesses and a halti I decided to try this and am delighted to say it really does work and it is a pleasure rather than a chore to take our springer out on walks now

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFantastic I have tried every lead, halter and harness going and this is the only thing that works for my springer. Its amazing so simple but she doesn’t pull at all a few head shakes as not impressed with it on her nose.
