Léger et pratique.. mais problème avec le premie
Ce tlphone est assez simple, lger.
Hlas le 1er telephone reu avait un problme avec la micro et les interlocuteurs n entendaient pas ; mais le support aprs vente a t trs ractif et m a renvoy un tlphone qui lui fonctionne correctement (pour l instant, voir dans le temps).
Le tlphone est simple, petit mais ergonomique avec les fonctions essentielles d un tlphone, avec en plus la radio, 2 petits jeux qui rappellent les annes 90. Les fonctions web et e-mails bien que prsentent sont difficilement utilisables avec les nouveaux standards mais c est tout fait normal.
Attention tre minutieux pour mettre la carte SIM (micro SIM ou nano avec un adaptateur fourni) car l emplacement est fragile.

Parfait pour la téléphonie des seniors (mais pas le reste...)
Achet pour une personne de 82 ans, ce tlphone remplit trs bien sa mission pour passer et recevoir des appels. Le dcroch/raccroch par ouverture et fermeture du clapet est trs pratique tout comme la base d’alimentation, et il existe deux touches d’appel direct.
Je n’ai pas eu les problmes de batterie dcrits par d’autres utilisateurs, tout fonctionne correctement, mais ce n’est pas non plus une utilisatrice “compulsive” et le tlphone passe le plus clair de son temps sur sa base, cela peut jouer… La charge tient bien nanmoins en dplacement pendant toute une journe.
Par contre, il ne faut pas tre trs exigeant sur les autres fonctions : la rdaction de SMS est laborieuse, l’appareil photo est oublier, l’accs internet inexistant et le rglage des paramtres n’est pas si simple.
Bref un bon achat pour qui recherche un tlphone mobile facile d’utilisation… et rien d’autre.
Reste voir la durabilit. Utilis depuis deux ans, il donne parfois des signes de faiblesse (l’cran clignote un moment, on ne sait pas pourquoi) mais qui se rsolvent assez bien pour l’instant par un teindre/rallumer. J’envisage d’en acheter un deuxime en rserve pour le remplacer le moment venu.

I bought this phone for my 80 year old Mum and it was her first mobile! She walks miles every day and I wanted her to be able to contact me if she needed whilst out walking. The Easyfone is compact, easy to use and the battery lasts for days and days. It comes with a very handy charging stand too.
When the phone decided to stop charging itself, the customer service team were superb in solving our problem by sending out, very quickly, a new charging cable, free of charge. They also remained in contact saying if that didn’t solve the problem they would replace the phone itself.
The cable has done the trick and the phone I’d charging again perfectly! I highly recommend this company due to their speed of service, professionalism and great product. Thank you so much, my Mum is thrilled that she has her phone back!

J’ai appel l’assistance technique, et on m’a dit qu’il n’existait pas de possibilit de m’envoyer juste les accessoires manquants et qu’il fallait renvoyer le tlphone, demander le remboursement et commander nouveau…

Great little phone for non-technical use
Reminds me of my old Motorola StartTac – a classsic amongst phones!
Bought for an elderly relative who was recently bereaved of a partner, so a means of always being in touch. Ease of use was paramount and this fits that bill.
Good points: Torch, general ease of use, finish quality, exterior screen display, large buttons, unlocked to any SIM and most of all, the charging stand. No messing around with cables once set up.
Bad points: as an iPhone native, setting up the contacts felt like I had gone back in time by 20 years! Fiddling about to constantly switch between upper and lower case, and having to choose SIM v Phone each time was a laborious task. To set up 30 or so contacts took well over an hour, in a world where we are now used to setting up hundreds in a matter of seconds.
Also worth noting is the lack of ring tones. This appears to only have ONE ringtone, which depending on how you look at it, is probably a good OR bad thing, as most pre-defined ringtones are just annoying. Importantly, the single ringtone does the job, and maybe its just overkill having access to ‘every song in the world, ever’ as the choice…
Eigentlich ganz brauchbar, aber...
Handy gekauft fr meine Mutter (seh-/hrbehindert). Sie wollte kein Smartphone. Leider gibt’s, selbst auf Nachfrage beim Hersteller, keine komplette Bedienungsanleitung in deutscher Sprache. Die deutsche Kurzanleitung beantwortet aber leider nicht alle Fragen.

Der erste Eindruck passt eigentlich, aber nun nach wenigen Wochen…
Handy wieder beiseite gelegt.
Der Anrufbeantworter schaltet sich relativ frh ein ( 5x klingeln). Selbst bei meiner ausfhrlichen Suche lie es sich nicht finden wie (und ob berhaupt?) man das Einschalten des ARB etwas spter einstellen kann.
Ich bemhe mich weiter eine Lsung zu finden und versuche mich an der nur im Internet aufzufindenden kompletten BA in englischer Sprache.
Das ist insgesamt unbefriedigend, zumal der deutsche Markt dem Hersteller wichtig sein msste…

La dcouverte du fonctionnement est une relle aventure pas vidente et le manque d’une notice en franais est un scandale, il y a 5 pages ridicules consacres la mise en route contre 66 en anglais !

Bought this for my 78 year old mum so have not actually seen it but she seems very pleased with the size, docking station and loudness of the ring. The menu is a bit different from her old one, which she is getting used to. As she has problems with seeing dark colours she thinks that the red colour is brilliant for her as she can easily find/see it easily.

I only use a mobile for emergencies and have yet to try it fully but it seems do all I want.
One niggle – it should come with a mains adapter – luckily the one for my previous same maker phone.

Leggibile, i tasti sono ben distanziati e e fanno capire chiaramente se sono stati premuti.
Dotato di accessori quali la docking station e la fibbia batteria.
Unico problema legato alla docking station. Non che non funzioni, ma una persona anziana delle volte pu non posizionarla bene e non attivare la carica con le conseguenze del caso.
Infatti preferisce usare il cavo micro USB.
Probabilmente, per una persona anziana, non servono tutti questi accessori, ma serve qualcosa di pi “spartano” ed adatto alle loro esigenze.
Prodotto validissimo ma che, secondo me, non da dare ad un anziano “poco tecnologico”.

Cosi’ ho cercato con lei , qui su su Amazon , un cellulare che gli piaceva . Quando ha visto i tasti grandi e il fatto che si apriva per rispondere e si chiudeva per chiudere la chiamata,non ha avuto il minimo dubbio e ha scelto questo modello . E’ arrivato la mattina dopo ! ! Ed e’ stata una piacevole sorpresa per la mamma .I numeri erano gia’ sulla SIM che aveva.Ho solo pregrammato i tasti M1 ed M2 con i numeri piu’ importanti,e adesso basta tenerli premuti 2 secondi per far partire la chiamata automaticamente.E quando gli arriva una chiamata vede il numero da fuori e decide:Se vuole rispondere apre il telefono e parla serena ,poi per chiudere la chiamata chiude il telefono e zero pensieri !! La comoda base di ricarica e’ fantastica perche’ basta appoggiarlo e si ricarica , senza complicate spinette USB da attaccare ! ! Cosa puo’ esserci di piu’ semplice ? ? I was looking for a basic, big buttons phone suitable for elderly. After days of searching and comparing , I’ve found this phone on Amazon and I think it’s perfect for my mom.
The interface is simple to use, the menu is easy to navigate, the audio is loud and clear, without being obnoxiously too loud and annoying. Its 1-click dialling is exactly what my mom needs. Easy to program M1/M2, so my mom can call me by just pressing down the M1 button. Same as buttons 1-6, can also be programmed to call a number as well.
The phone has a basic 2 MP camera but it’s sufficient enough for my mom to take photos. You can take a photo of a contact and attach it to their number for added visual aid. This is obviously not a touch screen, so texting is very basic and slow, but my mom doesn’t text , she just call.
Other reviewer mentioned that it doesnt have a good battery life. But my mom has been using this phone for almost 3 weeks now, and the battery life is sufficiently good. There are no apps on the phone to drain the battery, she only use the phone occasionally to make and receive calls. Most days, the battery can last for up to 4 days without having to recharge. It’s using a battery cradle which is better than the USB-type charging, no wire, suitable for my mom.
There is SOS button at the back on the phone, which is perfectly placed without interfering with the main buttons.
Having said all that, I would have to agree with other reviewers that the instructions, even though thorough, the fonts are quite small. But not a problem, as I was the one who helped setting it up for her. If the elderly themselves set it up, then there might be a problem.
Overall, no complains, phone is suitable for my mom’s needs. Happy to recommend.

Une fois pass c’est petits soucis, l’appareil est simple, lisible avec un bon sons, achet pour une personne de 85 ans et paramtr par moi mme, elle est ravie.

Achet pour ma maman. Beau tlphone, aspect pche pour eviter qu’il ne glisse de vos mains, grosses touches, possibilit de grossir lgrement les caractres l’cran. Vendu avec socle pour la recharge, une sangle pour le mettte autour du coup, une seconde batterie, port usb pas de prise, dommage. Le gros problme est pour envoyer les Sms, pas du tout instinctif, pas moyen de faire un espace a affiche 0, pour entrer le correspondant c’est le parcours du combattant. Pas plus d’explications sur la notice. Aprs de nombreuses manipulations j’ai pu changer le mode d’criture du sms, donc le problme est rgl, nanmoins, l’envoi de sms demande plusieures manipulations et reste compliqu. Je recommande tout de mme ce tlphone qui plat ma maman et c’est bien le principal !

Bought for my mum who is nearly 80 as her old clamshell phone broke. She is finding it difficult to use. She can answer call OK and find her contacts but sending messages are not as easy as her own phone. And the handy light keeps turning on as the button is on the side and she keeps pressing it when opening the phone

The preinstalled radio settings drain the battery but can be solved by changing settings
There was a problem with the battery but I discovered it was the radio switching on all the time because of the preinstalled settings made it very easy to accidentally press the button but this can to changed to stop the radio coming on and draining the phone’s battery. My Dad is now very happy with this phone’

Bought this for relative whose not very tech savvy. It’s quite simple to use with no excessive or fiddly extras. Nice colour and easy to handle, useful touch is the charging stand so she can put it on its cradle when not in use and it doesn’t run down or get lost.
Buono ma migliorabile
Ho acquistato questo cellulare per mio nonno e non sono del tutto soddisfatto. Cercavo un cellulare che sia in grado di chiudersi in modo che chiudendosi attaccasse la chiamata, quindi ottimo. Ottimo anche il fatto che il cellulare abbia una base di ricarica visto che mio nonno non ci vede molto bene, quindi sarebbe stato un problema inserire il cavo. L’unica cosa che mi ha fatto dare 4 stelle e non 5 il fatto che i il numero dei tasti non viene annunciato quando premuto, quindi per le persone anziane che vedono poco non l’ideale. la cosa viene un p risolta con il fatto che per ogni tasto possibile associare un numero rapido. Ad ogni modo rimane un buon cellulare economico. Spero che sia abbastanza resistente visto che mio nonno riesce a farli durare meno di un anno!

Excellent easy to use phone that’s 3G ready
I bought this for my elderly mother who is 84. Really simple to use. Her previous Nokia had to be unlocked by pressing 2 buttons in quick succession which she found very tricky. With this excellent phone, just flip it open and it’s ready to use. Big buttons, clear display with large font. Volume of ringer and earpiece are excellent too. The charger stand is much less fiddly than trying to plug the lead into the phone. Note, this is a 3G phone so you can use it with the 3 mobile network. No issues with battery life although she doesn’t make many calls, standby time is plentiful and it comes with a spare battery. Highly recommend.

Si poteva fare di meglio..
Dopo tre giorni che ho preso il cellulare per mia madre che di tecnologia non ne capisce na cippa, devo dire che non male. Lato audio, si sente bene, volume anche, alto e per adesso nessuna chiamata gracchiante, lato facilit d’uso perfetto. Pochi tasti e molto semplice da usare.
Parliamo delle plastiche, il cellulare non fatto male, per plastiche molto economiche e si sente anche al tatto, fra qualche mese ci saranno sicuramente degli scricchiolii.
Lato batteria pecca tanto, vero che ci sono due batterie dentro, per farle cambiare ad una persona anziana praticamente impossibile, dunque il senso di averne messe due non lo capisco. Kmq la durata se si usa per chiamare si attesta sul giorno e mezzo, con due batterie se ne fanno 3 ma come dicevo prima, farle cambiare ad una persona che di tecnologia zero la trovo una cosa inutile.
Conclusioni, per il prezzo non male. 50 vanno bene, per una batteria un po’ pi capiente e plastiche di qualit non gli avrebbero fatto sicuramente male.

Ich habe das Handy fr meine Mutter gekauft, die mit einem Smartphone nicht zurecht kommt. Die Bewegung ihrer Hnde eingeschrnkt ist und sie tippt teilweise viel zu stark auf den empfindlichen Touchscreen.
Aus diesem Grund hat sie sich ein Klapp-Handy mit groen Tasten gewnscht. Es gefllt ihr von der Optik her sehr gut und es liegt gut in ihrer Hand. Also hierfr schon mal ein Pluspunkt.
Das Display ist gro genug, dass sie recht schnell die Uhrzeit lesen kann. Auerdem braucht sie das Handy einfach nur aufzuklappen und das Telefon-Gesprch beginnt bzw. zuzuklappen. Auch hier ein Plus.
Schwierig war die Verstndlichkeit wie die SIM-Karte in da Handy gesteckt wird. Es werden 3 verschieden groe Adapter geliefert, um eine Makro-SIM, Mikro-SIM oder ganz kleine Nano-SIM einzustecken. Da es sich um drei kleine Einzelteile handelte, dachte meine Mutter das Handy sei kaputt angeliefert worden. Da habe ich mir die Beschreibung durchgelesen und NEIN…es war nicht kaputt. Es war ALLES korrekt! Sofern jemand dieses Handy fr den einen Elternteil oder die Groeltern bestellt, empfehle ich, definitiv dabei zu sein, wenn der Elternteil das Handy auspackt. Die Inbetriebnahme des Handys bekommt meine Mutter leider nicht allein hin wie ich es erwartet hatte. Daher einen Stern Abzug bei der einfachen Handhabung.
Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf und kann es definitiv weiter empfehlen!

I got this phone for a man of nearly 90 years of age. He had never been able to use a mobile before as he didn’t like touch screens, as this is just an ordinary screen he has found this flip phone relatively easy to use. After 2 days of use he is quite happy with it. He likes that by flipping the phone open it is ready to use without having to switch anything on. The big buttons make it easy for his fingers, and the beginner menu is easy enough for him to understand. Bought this great little phone for wife who isn’t very mobile or tech savvy. If she needs assistance. She can press SOS button on back of phone and automatically calls me and then my daughter. (hands free). And also sends text message. I would highly recommend this phone. It could be a life saver. Also 3g with internet access. FM radio and basic camera.Good battery life.

A good quality simple mobile phone
A good simple phone for the elderly or simply for people who don’t have to have a complicated phone to access the internet. It is a flip phone which is simple to use on the whole. There are two buttons where you can enter the phone numbers of people you often phone to make it simpler to use. The menu is also simple to navigate but you have to know that you need to use the buttons with three dotted lines to make your selection as it is different from a Doro phone or similar phones. The down side is that the melodies for the ring tones are not great and the volume not too good either (I am referring to the ring tones). They could have been louder and better. It looks pretty solid in appearance and does what it is supposed to do: to make and receive phone calls and to send text messages and read them. It is good that it is compatible with hearing aids as you will need them if you can’t hear very well given the volume of the phone calls.

3G only
Note as 3G networks are to be turned off shortly in the UK you will be stuck. For example Three is due to turn off it’s 3G in 2023. EE shortly afterwards. Best to look at a 4G similar cheap phone… there are some.
Howeber works reasonable well but bleeps away on charge when charging is complete. Slight annoyance.
So yes buying choice will have a short life.

My wife, having lost her ‘flip top’ 2g phone, I bought her this 3g phone.
It is an excellent phone from an Indian company, which surprised me.
The only problem with it is the volume control which has a button on the side. You have to be carful as you can easily, accidently turn the volume to zero which means you can’t here the phone when it rings.
Full marks to GAMMA PHONE, Easyfone Prime A1.
They sent me new software to disable the volume Up & Down buttons on the side of the phone when it is closed, because they can accidently be pressed when handling the phone so you can’t hear it ring.
When the software gave me problems, they sent me a complete replacement with the latest software installed.
My wife loves the phone & the customer service is excellent.

Once programmed this phone is good for my mum who has dementia and alzheimer’s because of the 2 memory buttons which she can use to push once to contact me. She can also open up the phone to answer it and close to hang up so very easy to use. Programming the phone in the first place is time consuming and awkward but once it’s done it’s fine. Its It’s a lovely size and I got red as it registers in her mind “my red phone”. Only challenge now is reminding her to lift it on her way out as she wouldn’t wear it on her lanyard around her neck.
I would also mention she has small but hands that are a bit shaky now and she can miss the buttons sometimes as they’re not huge. This brings the menu up and that confuses her.

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. Battery ran out after charge within 12 hours. Needs to sit constantly on the charging unit not unlike my landline phone. Been thrown into the back of the cupboard, would rather have donated the cost to charity. It would have been returned had I not returned to France a couple of days after purchase!

Bought for my 74 yr old Dad who is not too tch-savvy at all and had been using a nokia ‘mobile stone’ as i called it, the old 3310’s i think it was called.. It did the job for making calls and receiving but finally gave up the ghost. I wanted a fone that was easy to use with larger buttons and a little bigger in size as Dad tends to get a little shakey with fiddly things. He adores this fone!. I did program it for him and put in everybody’s numbers, he likes the fact you can add a picture of the person calling and so he knows straight away if he wants to answer.. very handy when it comes to my wicked step-‘monster’ calling!. The fone surprisingly comes with an extra battery but Dad did mention he has to charge it every night so maybe thats why, i don’t see an issue if you always remember to stick one on charge, the second battery comes with a little holder so the battery does not have to be in the fone to be charged. All in all i think its a great buy! the majority of all the so-called latest and ‘amazing’ fones don’t come with all the accessories that this one did!. It also has a long strap designed so you can loop it thru the fone and wear it hanging from your neck, i guess this could be handy to know its always on you, it also has the ICE feature and a gps tracking thing (sorry not too techy myself but it can track a person), really some amazing safety features). It has a camera, not overly grea t bt good enough, can connect to internet and radio too. I received a sim with it too, a charging cradle and usb cable,, really good quality all round reliable little pack. I would love to thank the company, its not often i’m so impressed with a product but this one is more than okay. I have a very happy Father and that makes me happy. if you are looking for a straight forward fone with some added bonus safety features this is the one. Would definitely recommend.
86 year old mum in law now has a phone she can use
It’s just what she needed. Answer on open, a cradle to sit in to charge and speed dial numbers for friends and family.
She has very poor sight, and is a touch dippy these days, so it’s nice to know we can contact her when she’s out and she can contact us if needed.

Il telefono ben fatto ed esteticamente non male per il suo genere. Il menu non semplicissimo, ma l’utilizzo delle funzioni base (telefono, memorie, messaggi) adatto a persone anziane. Il display di discrete dimensioni ed i caratteri ben leggibili. Il telefono molto leggero. Viene fornito con due batterie, la basetta di ricarica per il telefono ed il carica batterie a parte per la seconda batteria. La ricarica pu essere fatta anche inserendo direttamente il cavetto micro usb nel telefono. In dotazione c’ anche l’auricolare. Ci sono quindi pi accessori del previsto, manca per l’adattatore di rete a cui collegare il cavo USB e questo non l’ho trovato indicato nella descrizione. Se un prodotto dedicato ad anziani, non proprio scontato che abbiamo un PC a cui collegarlo quindi per questo non valuto 5 stelle. Dei due era forse meglio una batteria in meno, ma la presenza del carica batterie da rete….

ESPERIENZA DI UTILIZZO
Questo telefono cellulare molto pratico e compatto: il materiale d una forte sensazione di solidit. Il tastierino numerico presenta dei bottoni molto grandi e facilmente visibili anche per chi ha problemi di vista, stessa cosa per i caratteri dello schermo. Il telefono arrivato con la lingua di sistema impostata in Inglese, ma mi stato facilissimo andare nelle impostazioni di sistema e cambiarla in Italiano. Abbiamo diverse funzionalit, tra le quali la modalit SOS che pu rivelarsi di vitale importanza e il volume della suoneria impostabile a livelli molto alti per assicurare che la persona anziana riesca ad accorgersi di una ipotetica chiamata in arrivo. Il telefono supporta le principali bande di trasmissione telefonica utilizzate in Italia (sia per quanto riguarda 2G e 3G) e con una copertura quasi al 100% del territorio nazionale per quanto riguarda queste bande, possiamo stare tranquilli e scordarci il problema della mancanza di campo. La base di ricarica ottima, anzich avere il solito cavetto e alimentatore con presa a muro, mio nonno pu semplicemente inserire nell’apposito slot il telefono e stare certo che si trover la batteria del cellulare caricata al 100% l’indomani (la batteria ha una durata nettamente maggiore degli Smartphone, parliamo dell’ordine delle settimane). L’adattatore dei diversi formati SIM un accessorio che difficilmente si trova in smartphone di fascia alta, e invece qua presente: per fortuna! Altrimenti avrei dovuto acquistarne uno in un negozio fisico.
CONCLUSIONI
Il telefono stato progettato per soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze e non ho nessuna critica da fare a riguardo, visto e considerato il target di questo prodotto. Piccoli consigli al venditore? Includere un alimentatore al quale collegare il cavo di ricarica e di conseguenza la base: personalmente non stato un problema dato che ne ho a bizzeffe in casa. Vi consiglio vivamente questo prodotto perch oltre a supportare il 2G come gi detto, supporta pure il 3G con WCDMA e quindi non vi dovrete porre alcun problema riguardante la scelta dell’operatore della SIM (esempio banale: se non avesse supportato il 3G Iliad sarebbe stato un operatore da scartare).

Purchased for a lady in her 80s, good build quality, good signal, clear sound and easy to use. Great after a less good experience with a TTfone Lunar that offers similar functionality.
Dieses Handy habe ich fr meinen Vater bestellt, der immernoch ein Klapphandy benutzen mchte. Er findet diese Art von Handys praktisch und kann fr sich keine Touchscreen Handys vorstellen.
Besonders wichtig ist fr ihn, dass er beim Aufklappen des Handys gleich den Anruf annehmen kann und dafr nicht extra eine Taste drcken muss.
Das Easyfone Prime besitzt alle wichtigen und grundlegenden Eigenschaften welches ein normales Klapphandy haben sollte. Fr ltere Menschen sind die SOS sowie die direkt-wahl Tasten sehr wichtig und diese sind bereits vorhanden und funktionieren reibungslos. Zustzlich sind 7 weitere Kurzwahltasten vorhanden. Somit muss man selten in die Kontakte reingehen um den richtigen Kontakt zu finden und anzurufen.
Das Auendisplay kann man dazu verwenden um die Uhrzeit/das Datum auszulesen oder die eingehende Nummer bzw. Kontakt wird gleich angezeigt, bevor man den anruf annimt.
Ganz praktisch finde ich auch die Ladestation, auch super geeignet fr ltere Menschen, weil es nicht immer so einfach ist, den Ladekabel jedesmal an dem micro-USB Anschluss einzustecken. Der Kabel bleibt permanent an der Ladestation angeschlossen und man muss nur das Handy an die Ladestation drauflegen. Zustzlich als ntzliche Funktion finde ich die Taschenlampe, auch wenn die Reichweite kurz ist, kann es in engeren dunkleren Rumen lebenswichtig werden.
Es gibt auch die Mglcihkeit Bluetooth Gerte wie z.B. Kopfhrer, FM-Transmitter oder andere Gerte mit diesem Handy zu koppeln.
Das Handy bietet auerdem einige Multimedia Funktionen an aber diese sind fr meinen Vater eher zweitrangig und ich glaube kaum dass er die Funktionen wie Radio, Musik-Player, Kamera mit 2 Megapiksel oder Spiele benutzen wird.
Dieses Seniorenhandy bietet alle wichtigen Funktionen die man als lterer Mensch braucht an.

Purchased for my elderly, hard-of-hearing, partially sighted mother and she is delighted with it. Really easy to use once set up for her requirements. I disabled some functions that would have confused her and she has had no problems so far.
Doesn’t take a standard SIM so I had her card cut down to micro size.
To charge the phone, only a USB charging cable was supplied to charge from a computer which meant I had buy a USB charging plug from a local shop. There is a spare battery that can be charged away from the phone, which could be very useful, and amazing for the price, but you will still need a plug if you don’t have a computer.
This is a very good phone. In many ways better than the smart phone it has replaced. Visibility and sound quality put it ahead of a large portion of the competition. Battery life is very good, four days on stand-by and the charging dock makes it such that you shouldn’t leave home with a low battery. With a memory card fitted it holds more than enough audio to entertain during journeys.
In all a strong, versatile phone that takes up little space in your pocket or bag.
I use a tablet for email, maps and on line purchases and this phone gives the optimum convenience for communication.

J’ai choisi ce modle (Easyfone Prime A1 rouge 2018) pour son rapport qualit/prix, pour son ergonomie type clapet et ses grandes touches ainsi que pour son fonctionnement sur la bande 3G. La bande 2G ayant, d’aprs de nombreux commentaires spcialiss, tendance tre supprime par les oprateurs tlphoniques ou inoprante sur certains types de tlphones.
Le matriel est arriv bien emball.
Les accessoires livrs avec le tel sont nombreux et mritent d’tre lists:
– un socle permettant de charger le tel debout.
– une alimentation prise secteur 220V/chargeur 5V DC USB
– un cable (80 cm env.) muni de prises USB/Micro USB, permettant de charger le tel. Le cable sert relier la prise 220V/Chargeur 5V DC soit directement au tel (il y a une prise sur le cot du tel), soit via le socle qui possde galement un prise Micro USB.
– un adaptateur prise secteur franais/prise secteur anglais (pas utile en France, mais utile l’tranger)
– une petite boite contenant des adaptateurs carte SIM et un outil d’extraction. La carte SIM n’est bien entendu pas fournie puisqu’elle est propre chaque oprateur tlphonique (Free, Orange, SFR, ou autres)
– un kit couteurs
– une dragonne
– un manuel en langue anglaise, mais possdant quelques pages en franais. IMPORTANT: La notice complte en langue franaise et disponible sur demande sur le site du fournisseur. Le fournisseur est trs ractif, j’ai reu le fichier PDF en langue franaise quelques heures aprs ma demande par email ([email protected], ou via le site Easyfone).
Le tlphone est livr avec sa batterie (non charge). La premire chose faire est donc d’enlever la languette isolante de transport en ouvrant le compartiment batterie et de charger le tlphone pendant quelques temps avant de commencer les rglages. A noter que le tlphone est rglable sur plusieurs langues, dont le franais bien entendu.
Je n’ai pas pu tester le fonctionnement du tel lui mme car je ne possdais pas la carte SIM de la personne qui se tlphone est destin en cadeau. Cependant les quelques rglages que j’ai oprs, Langue, Date, heure, montrent un appareil agrable prendre en main et facile utiliser.
J’aurais un meilleurs retour sur l’appareil lui mme lorsque la personne l’aura utilis pendant quelques temps.

El telfono es para mi madre, que tiene problemas de visin, y hace varios aos que utiliza telefonos de este tipo. Cada vez son mejores y ms cmodos. Este telfono le ha resultado muy facil aprender a utilizarlo, ya que ella no puede marcar numeros, porque no es capaz de distinguir las teclas. Pero como tiene dos grandes teclas muy visibles donde memorizar numeros, simplemente pulsando esa tecla, me llama a mi, o a otra persona.
Tambien le he memorizado todos los numeros con marcacin rpida a mi telfono, de tal manera, que simplemente pulsando cualquier nmero de su teclado me llama a mi. Una tranquilidad.
Despues, para descolgar simplemente debe abrir el telfono.
Y para ponerlo en carga no tiene que conectar ninguna clavija pequea, simplemente lo deja en su base y carga.
Se ve robusto para aguantar la caidas y trae una cinta para colgarlo o para localizarlo ms facilmente en el bolso o en los bolsillos.
Tiene muchas ms funciones, cmara, mensajes, etc etc, pero en nuestro caso no lo necesitasmos.La calidad del sonido, cobertura y batera son muy buenas, en ese sentido es un telfono de calidad.
Un telfonomuy recomendable sobre todo para personas mayores que necesitan algo muy fcil y cmodo de utilizar. Inclusos para personas con problemas de visin.

I bought this for my 95 year old mother-in-law with arthritic hands. Her previous flip phone was smaller and she coped, but she uses this one a great deal more. The buttons work really well, the battery life is really good much better than a previous reviewer had said. I left the phone on, flip closed, and it stayed charged for at least 3-4 days. I would recommend it, I even considered one for myself to replace the touch screen phone particularly in this cold weather!
A Proper Telephone
A very practical mobile telephone. Small light and easy to use. The camera could be better but I did not buy it for the camera so it does not bother me at all.

good little phone . the only problem I have with it is that when in your pocket the external buttons are easily pressed . which turns on the torch , turns of the ringer and sends sos signals , so would recommend a case been used with it . otherwise no problems once with a case
I have had 6 flip mobiles from Amazon had to send them all back because of one fault or another.
The Prime A1 is with out a doubt the best and I like it, the hand book is very good, Speaker clear and loud.
Setting up follows logical steps and the manual is there if you need help. The one draw back I have found is with texting special characters the hand book does not include how to scroll across the five columns, it’s with the M1 and M2 buttons
Ho comprato questo cellulare poco pi di un mese fa, per mia mamma di 85 anni, che da pi di 10 anni usa solo telefoni a conchiglia perch cos non si pone il problema di come si risponde e di come si riaggancia. Mia mamma del cellulare sa usare un solo tasto, quello della richiamata (il tasto verde), perch il suo numero ce l’ho solo io e la chiamo il 99% delle volte solo io, quindi per chiamarmi, lei che non ha idea di come si usa la rubrica e non c’ verso di farglielo imparare, usava “il tasto verde”. Peccato che ogni tanto capiti una telefonata da altri, anche se raramente, e quando chiamano altri, lei si trova che schiaccia il tasto verde per la richiamata e non rispondo io, quindi panico. Una volta c’ stata anche una chiamata preoccupante, fortunatamente intercettata da me, di uno di quei servizi che quando rispondi fanno la richiamata a tuo carico e ci rimetti dei soldi.
Cos sono corsa ai ripari comprandole questo telefono che ha 3 vantaggi:
1) da chiuso si vede il nome di chi chiama, sul display esterno
2) importantissimo ha il tasto M1 dove ho memorizzato il mio numero, cos qualsiasi cosa accada, se schiaccia M1 chiamer sempre e solo me
3) ha il 3G e posso metterci la microsim cos pu servire anche a me se il mio dovesse rompersi
Il telefono lo sente bene, la dimensione idonea per posizionarlo bene sull’orecchio. Ogni tanto si sbaglia e accende la torcia, il tasto posizionato lateralmente proprio dove si impugna, quindi capita.
Non posso garantire sulla durata, ho letto qualche recensione che diceva che si guastato in fretta, mia mamma lo usa solo a casa e solo per chiamare me, quindi credo che le durer un sacco.
Il caricatore molto comodo, ed anche utile che ti avvisi con un bip leggero quando il cellulare carico. Non c’ l’alimentatore, ma ne avevo uno di un telefono che mi si guastato quindi ho potuto riciclarlo, considerato il prezzo, va bene cos.
I men per me sono fatti un po’ fatti male, ma sono riuscita a configurarlo senza manuale smanettando un po’; macchinoso trovare le chiamate perse, ed anche gli SMS, ma sono cose che controllo solo io ogni tanto.
Quindi, per una persona totalmente digiuna di tecnologia, secondo me un ottimo acquisto soprattutto considerato il prezzo.
A lovely little phone. I bought this for my husband as he is a real 80 year old technophobe. I agree with others who were surprised how small the instruction book is, considering the phone was made for the elderly.
Had a bit of a problem with fitting the SIM card . I just forgot that the little metal cover has to slide to cover the SIM. All set up now, and ready to go. Only time will tell how reliable it is

I have been irritated by all the notifications we are bombarded with when you have a smartphone. This little gem just concentrates on phone calls and messages. If I want anything on the internet then I have my tablet and my kindle.
Il telefono ha esattamente le funzioni che cercavo. Facile da usare (menu “classici”), senza fronzoli.
Display a caratteri grandi, si legge bene il numero e il nome di chi chiama a cellulare chiuso.
Funzione SOS buona (anche se non capisco come -dato che il pulsante incassato e va premuto per 3 secondi prima di inoltrare l’SOS- ma mio suocero l’ha gi avviata 2 volte per errore).
Ottima ricezione e volume audio sia microfono che altoparlante o vivavoce (anche per chi ascolta dall’altra parte).
Ottimo il fatto che va su rete 3G (cos con Iliad non ho problemi).
Ovviamente la parte “Internet” ridicola ma non mi interessa e non mi aspettavo nulla dato che non uno smartphone.
Basetta di ricarica facile per mio suocero (cos non spacca pi il connettore e riesce facilmente ad appoggiare il telefono nella basetta).
Tre soli piccoli nei (tutto sommato trascurabili):
– non c’ il caricabatterie ma solo la base con cavo usb, il trasformatore da recuperare a parte (mea culpa che non ho letto bene le specifiche…) ma poco male tanto un alimentatore usb qualunque va bene
– non c’ una suoneria precaricata con il suono “ring” (driin) dei telefoni classici ma solo melodie, avrei preferito la suoneria dei telefoni vecchi, molto pi udibile da tutti
– la funzione “torcia” si attiva un po’ troppo facilmente tenendolo in tasca
I bought this for my father and can not wait to give it to him. For long time he had a similar flip phone that he loved. Once the trusted phone died, we attempted the transition to smartphones but failed miserably.
When I spotted this phone I immediately hoped it was the solution to our problems. Now that I have tried it and test it, I am convinced.
The phone works brilliantly and all the basic tasks are covered quickly and efficiently. Build quality is good, the volume is loud in both conversation mode and as a loudspeaker for the included FM app. The dual screen system is great to allow checking the time even when the phone is closed and the charging cradle is brilliant to avoid any confusion in how to connect the micro USB charging cable. The camera is very basic but still great to have the option. Dial buttons are big and easy to see and for less than 50 this phone is a sure bargain.
he user manual for this phone is ridiculously small ,need a magnifying glass to read it. what is the point to advertising a phone specifically for the elderly, with big buttons and big print if the instructions cannot be read?
pity because otherwise a nice phone.
While I am not quite in the senior camp yet, this phone is useful to me as a decent replacement for when I go out and don’t want to take my smart phone.
Its definitely going to be useful to those who don’t need smart phone features and find modern phones a bit confusing, but for me its something I can pop in my bag on photography trips and not have to worry about damaging.The clamshell design has always been a favourite of mine and it works well in this handset and the addition of a charging cradle means that it can be left in a familiar place to be found easily.
The keys have a nice positive feedback and you can tell that you have pressed a button without it being too hard.
I like the clear, bright display too and with only a small screen and limited features the battery life is brilliant too.
Ideal for either those who want a decent spare phone for trips or to keep in the car, or for those who find modern phones a bit too much to deal with!
