does the job! nice selection on sounds. just annoying that this comes separately and not with the actual doorbell set! it’s not a doorbell if it hasn’t got a chime right!

Had it for approximately 3 months, works well. Needs charging once a month. Not sure how secure it is pulled off without too much force. Picked up on phone and I pad almost immediate. Does allow verbal communication with visitor.

A useful add-on. Shame about the cost though.

I won’t mark down but I literally wanted a single chime that worked remotely. I didn’t need a back catalogue of tunes, ideally I’d have been looking around 20 but you are tied to this one

camera works fine as long as their isnt a disruption in the WiFi
it took 3 visits by electricians to finally get it up & running
you do need a wired up doorbell to connect the camera wires
I picked ezviz because I’ve 3 of theirs & im very happy with the company .
they do reply to emails usually within 49 hrs .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got the DBC1 yesterday. Picture quality in daylight and night is better than I expected at this price. In my case the night picture was better with the IR light disabled in settings since I have enough ambient light from the street.

Some notifications can come though a little slowly but the doorbell ring comes through in a few seconds. I haven’t had any false alarms using human detection so far.

It supports RTSP stream so I can record to an NVR or watch the feed using VLC in the local network. I found the link format on ipcamtalk forum:
    rtsp://admin:%5Bdevice verification code]@[ip address]
The device verification code is the initial default one that you read by scanning the QR code under the face of the unit.

Overall I’m very happy with this.

I bought this because I didn’t want to be like every other home with a Ring door bell. Also having examined many Ring door bells they also seemed to miss things. I’ll state now I’ve never owned a Ring door bell, but I have used a lot during my work. I saw this Ezviz unit reviewed on GeekStreet and was very interested in it – mainly because it can work with an existing door chime. So I went and bought one. It’s not been that easy to install (as I needed a 12v transformer) but when I did get it running – I was very happy with the results. The doorbell works perfectly with my existing chime (in fact it sounds better than ever) and the CCTV element is excellent. Storing on the local SD card means I don’t have to upload to the cloud and pay for storage. As it works with multiple types of Wifi it also works at the higher speeds so connection has never been an issue. A lot of visitors to my house have been impressed that I can monitor then using my mobile device anywhere. The call quality is also better I think compared when compared to the Ring door bell. Put simply this is a bit less user friendly to install but the results are probably better than others in the market. Overall I’m very pleased to have made an effort with it. Weeks after I set it up, it still works well.

Works well with Hik Vision app (Hik Connect), takes photo of person at door with each press of the doorbell button. Ap rings phone and Byron chime box works well with the camera.
Good field of vision, good resolution images

An amazing piece of kit and would recommend it to anybody voice recognition is good and the clarity of the camera is excellent but they don’t mention that you need a 12 V door chime as most door times are 8 V

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery pleased with this, I use it with a memory card because I don’t want to subscribe to a cloud (don’t use a cheap memory card , they are not compatible) . You can reduce or increase the motion sensitivity ( it can get a little annoying to be notified of every car that drives past on a road near a school…) The range and zoom is quite good too, I can see to the end of my front garden the pavement and both sides of the road and the front of the house right opposite (residential road that is three cars wide ) . My front door is inside a cove so I can’t say what it’s like in the rain as my lense has never had rain on it…but I am happy with this purchase. The audio works both ways and I was able to use this from abroad too ( providing you have good and consistent wifi ) . I’ve managed to share the link with two other people ( I don’t know if there is any limitation on it )

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWas originally looking for Nelly’s NSC-DB2 3MP Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Camera which only seemed to be available in the USA. This counterpart must be the European version as it is identical. I am using it with a Synology NAS as basically an IP camera, but it does that and much more. You can view the very clear high and resolution video at any time on the app (or VLC media player), which also notifies you straight away once the doorbell is pushed, two way audio also works perfectly. There are additional recording and motion detection features which I am not using, but can be set up with the app.
Requires some DIY and electrical knowledge if you don’t already have the required 24V AC supply from a traditional doorbell, but it’s not too complex.
Overall I’m pleased with the results the picture is amazing quality in day, low, or zero light. It states onvif compatible which I have not been able to get working, but I am capturing the video stream via rtsp anyway which would work with any decent Network Video Recorder (NVR).
Worth spending the extra to get superior quality video, sound plus all the bonus features if you want to use those too.

Brilliant quality camera. Motion alerts are great with no false alerts. Sound quality could be a little better as sometimes difficult to hear people at the door.
I also like the fact that I can record 24-7 to my Hikvision NVR as well as the sd card saving cloud subscriptions.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI decided to buy this to replace my Ring as was not happy with the cloud aspect of most connected doorbells. This connected to my existing Hikvision NVR with ease and once set up is now recording 24/7.
