Not sure why the bad reviews for this amp. OneOdio A70 Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones is what I am using. I have 7 headphone amps (all under $100.00) and this amp is the best one for bass on these headphones. The amps are Brainwaves AP001, M-Audio, spider, NX1s, generic HiFi headphone amplifier, Eoteck, and unknown model soundblaster. The AP001 outperformed all of them, but the Fosi N2 is the best. I seen that youtube video of this guy saying the NX1 is better than this amp, what a punk! The The mid and high is still very clear on these even with or without the bass switch activated. The bass is still very noticeable even with out the switch activated. I think this amp is the best out there for under $100.00.

Reading the reviews I was curious if this amp was as good or better than my Fiio A5 Mont Blanc type
amp I’ve been using every day for the past six years or so, nearly, so bought one. Been putting it through
its paces the past three days, same rig, Fiio x1 media player, and Beyerdynamic Custom Studio Pro
headphones (wired), and I think this amp is a fantastic value for the money. It’s buil solidly, nice metal-ly
finish and plastic I think, or aluminum, but it feels solid, easy to use, has bass and gain boosts, and charges fast. It has at least as much power as the Fiio A5 I have, and the sound quality, if it’s not quite as subtle or great as the Fiio, is nearly as good, it’s almost the same, or close, anyway. For $50 it’s
a total steal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The bass boost works and even without it,
on high gain, the bass was pretty tight. About the size of the Fiio amp, maybe a tiny bit smaller.
Can’t think of a reason not to recommend, if you don’t want to spend $150 or more on a Fiio
balanced-output headphone amp or don’t really need that. This amp should drive most headphones
unless it’s some ultra high impedance pair of studio phones, but it may even drive those.

Yellow, lets see I’m still currently using it still there are a few problems that have popped here and there the most annoying one is for some reason it will glitch out and you can’t here annnnything but and annoying thumping will be the only thing you hear and you immediately take the in my case using HIFI Earbuds right out cuz its so unexpected and loud AF. anyway the sound quality its really good and even turned all the why up but when turned down you do hear more of a whining sound in the background then the music just so your aware of what it does, might be asking why i still have it its cuz the weird fix is ether, its just not charged right if that makes any sense and i just leave it charging and when i come back to it its gone so its really weird but i don’t care its not bad if your getting it for the price as a “toy” but not in professional usage. ill give this a 4 out of 5 for the casual user.

I purchased a cheaper headphone amplifier in which the headphone jack eventually came loose. I actually purchased two of them and had the same problem with both, so, I decided to splurge on a more expensive amplifier option. So far the Fosi Audio N2 has exceeded expectations, as sound is clearer and smoother than the previous amplifiers I purchased. It’s more solidly built, visually looks better, and has a sturdier construction. I’m sure the N2 will last far longer and deliver a better performance for my audio needs over time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis amp noticeably clips when driving higher volumes or when the bass is on. Its a sure sign of not enough clean power to drive the headset. Compared to the schiit magni, this is abysmal sound quality in comparison i cant hardly believe its the same headphone. No i’m not talking about loudness either, at the same volume, the magni has a lot more power and headroom which allows for extremely deep phat bass response, wide soundstage and controlled buttery mids and treble. All these factors sound like a cheap headphone with this mobil fosi amp. However if you’ve never had a proper amp then I guess you’ll be fine with this if you want slightly louder volume than your phone but dont expect any real SQ out of a hifiman 4xx, expect half arsed performance.

I’ll probably get a portable power bank thats capable of 3 amp output to pair with a schiit hel 2.

This is a great little amplifier, I purchased it to power a pair of Sennheiser HD 560s and it does the job perfectly. Plenty of power at half volume, solid metal build, great volume knob, I keep the gain and bass switches on for EDM. I absolutely love it. I searched for a long time before purchasing and I’m very happy now.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great little amp that’s handy to carry around. It’s light enough and small enough to fit in a pants pocket, but I personally wouldn’t be comfortable using it like that for prolonged sessions, especially for activities like jogging.

I use open-back headphones to listen to my electric guitar while I practice. I have a Fender Mustang Micro mini headphone amp plugged into my guitar, and I route the output of that amp into his Fosi Audio N2 for additional amplification. The Fosi allows me to keep the volume on my Mustang Micro very low, to save its battery and reduce distortion.

Charging the device is easy, and I’m grateful that more device manufacturers are moving towards USB-C as their power standard. I’ve only used this amp for a few hours so far, but it has held its charge well, without needing to be charged additionally.

The volume knob is sturdy and has a nice feel. The switches for gain and bass are very small, but seem durable enough for their purpose. I’m not sure how much abuse the switches could handle, though, so definitely don’t let toddlers play with this amp unsupervised.

Volume is loud enough for my purposes, and I greatly appreciate the inclusion of a gain switch. I’ve played around with the bass switch a little, but don’t use it much for playing guitar. It does definitely add a little additional “ooomph” to bass lines in pop music.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersCompared to what else is available at this price point, I’d rate it 5 stars, but I would like more control over the bass. Just an on/off setting doesn’t adequately account for the different types of headphones or the mastering/ sound quality on the different files, but it’s as good or better than anything else in its affordability range. Having said that, the N2 does a great job of enriching the sonic presence of virtually everything I listen to (PC – hi res/lossless downloads & streaming – Sonos, Echo Show 8, etc.) or, and taking up the slack for whatever shortcomings are inherent to the various headphones (Beats Pro, Sennheiser, OneOdio, etc.) & Chi-Fi IEMs (KZ, Blon, Revonext, etc.) that I utilize.
Very stylish, extremely portable / versatile, and just feels cool in the hands (though a tad too slick, at times, for those of us with old man fingers!). I bought TWO of these little guys for all the little music toys I seem to be hoarding in my retirement years. Baby Boomer issues . . . . don’t get me started!

I don’t want to disturb my neighbors by listening to movies late at night through my computer speaker system. The sane alternative is to plug my Sony studio headphones into this Fosi amp to enhance sound coming directly from my computer output. I also use it with my Yamaha keyboard, which has insufficient volume through unamplified headphones. I chose this the Fosi brand based on many very favorable reviews. Now I am adding my two cents as a certified buyer.. If you are in the market for a headphone amp, this Fosi N2 is the one to get. You will not be disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed this with DT990 Pro 250 ohm headphones. It worked great. Volume was suprisingly loud for battery power. Super clean sound without added bass or eq. My only issue revolved around charging while listening. I have a few chargers that would give me noise in my headphones but when I used a decent name brand charger I had no issues.

eview on the Fosi Audio N2 Headphone Amplifier. I enjoy all types of music. I’ve got to a point where if I could see if I was able to see if I was able to get a better sound of my music with the portable devices that I use. They all sound okay but, I thought I would to try to see what was available with my budget. So I ordered a cheap headphone amp and was very disappointed, you get what you pay for. So I knew I would have to spend a bit more. I ordered this I set it up with my mp3 players and cd player, I was happy with it. The sound quality from this little amp was exactly what I was looking for. The ability to tweak the sound was a huge plus. I’m really glad that I purchased this unit, it took me to the next level of sound that I was looking for. Take my advice you won’t be disappointed with it. I highly recommend it, 5 stars, ease of use, it’s portability, and won’t break the budget.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy Truck radio just didn’t have enough volume for me when I used my IPhone to play music. I bought this hoping to change that. It foes that in high quality sound!! In fact you need to balance out the sound between the radio and the amplifier so you do not blow out your stock speakers. The gain and bass switches are excellent and work just as I hoped. I do not leave the bass on all the time because it is so deep and rich I am afraid for my speakers, so I only use it on certain songs and turn the volume down, just in case. This is a very awesome made product. Built like a quality item and does exactly as it says it does! I highly recommend this unit to bring up the volume in your vehicle or with headphones which I also tried, and it is so loud, you turn it down immediately!! Great Product for any price and fantastic seller!! AAA all the way!!
