Large parasol, easy to use
This parasol is a good size and creates a nice shaded area, it is easy to open and close, I have been using this parasol with a universal base and it fits well and feels study once in place, i am happy to recommend

This is a large umbrella at 9ft it has push-button 3 level tilt and a smooth crank for easy opening and closing.
The canopy is vented to help with airflow and heat ventilation . The material is lovely and thick and everything feels durable

Easy to open and close
This parasol is absolutely to die for. So simple to erect and install on your table setup, and so easy to take down as well.
I’m disabled and putting the umbrella up conventionally wouldn’t work for me. The winder is so simple, and with instructions on turn direction, you cannot go wrong!
On hot days this parasol will shade you adequately while enjoying the beautiful weather alone, or amongst friends.
In short, a fantastic product, well built, beautifully offered up and does exactly what it says on the tin.
I’ll give this a 9/10. 5 stars? Yes. What more can I say?
Stunning and vibrant cloth and well manufactured throughou
This is very attractively designed and smart looking patio umbrella. It’s a perfect choice for a family of four looking for a decent amount of shade in their garden and it comes in at a very reasonable price too.
The umbrella arrives well packaged in a long, slim, yet sturdy thick cardboard outer. Inside was a delightful looking and vibrant blue clothed parasol. The manufacturers have clearly gone out of their way to ensure you are getting a high quality and (hopefully) long lasting product. Every part I looked at had been finished to a high standard and all parts and pieces used in construction seem to be both of a high quality and well finished.
The fabric to the umbrella itself has been yarn dyed and has a luxuriously thick 230g/sqm cloth that additionally has been treated with PU and UV protective coatings. The manufacturers claim their parasol is fade resistant for five years. Time will tell I guess, but from initial inspection and usage, I have no reason to doubt their claims. I would be surprised if it lasted fade free for the full 5 years if you were to leave it uncovered all year around but I personally will be covering mine during the summer months when not in use as well as storing it away in the garage throughout the colder and more harsh winter months.
Upon opening your umbrella for the first time you will notice that it’s a really great size at a full 9 feet. It more than adequately covers my outdoor patio table and chairs, but you could equally choose to locate this by a pool, out on your decking, on a balcony or even to shade a BBQ pit area. It has a multi functional design and is equipped with a 3 position lift and tilt mechanism, which allows you to adjust the angle of umbrella as the sun advances across the sky. This helps to provide good shaded cover over your outdoor living setup all day long. It’s easy to both open and close and the operation to do so is smooth and seems well put together and made to last. This particular umbrella also has a vented canopy which helps keep it more stable and grounded when stronger winds are prevalent. The main pole has a nice and chunky 1.5 inch diameter and is constructed from thickened steel, which therefore makes it feel very solid and reliable. The actual umbrella’s ribs have been constructed using lighter weight aluminiums but once again, just like the rest of this umbrella, it all feels well put together, robust and thought out. The company supply you with a 1 year warranty for some added peace of mind.
The only thing tou really need to think about is that you will require and need to source a separate heavy duty base. Dont go getting an off-the-shelf cheap supermarket stand though. This bad boy requires a little more stability, especially if you intend to use it all year around, potentially including in stronger winds. Ideally you will need to counteract the top weight with, I would estimate here – around 30 – 40 kilos of base weight. This will, in all honesty, probable set you back another 40 or so. As the umbrella itself is priced at 79.99 (at time of review) your whole setup will in all likelihood hit the 120 – 130 mark. For the quality of construction, parts and materials used I think that represents great value for your money. Phase that over the next 5 years minimum life expectancy of this product and that works out to be less than 25 a year. That’s great value if you ask me.
I really can’t fault this umbrella in anyway. I am particularly taken by the bright and vibrant blue colouring of the cloth and I really do think the manufacturers have tried their very best to give you an overall high quality final product. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this at all and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. A great product at a great price. Brilliant!
Stunning umbrella
I’m absolutely delighted with this patio umbrella. It’s much better quality than one I bought some years ago and it looks stunning. Just need the sun now!
It’s reall well made and much more robust than some, with a ratchet mechanism to adjust. It’s very easy and it holds up well. I already had a large base and it fits perfectly, but you do need the base for support. The canvas type material is bright and strong, it all looks really securely stitched and I think with care it’ll last for years. A great investment.
It has UV protection from the sun and water proof.
From reading other reviews online, with some people reporting a bad experience, I hesitated to order this. However, I am glad that I decided to order it anyway (most of the reviews are positive), as it seems to be very good quality for its price. It has a nice vent at the top, to help it catch less wind than it otherwise might, but, of course, on a very windy day, it should not be open. The crank for opening and closing the umbrella operates smoothly, and gives a feel of quality. I have not had it long, however, so I cannot say how long it will hold up over time, but it has the look and feel of decent quality, much better than what I would normally expect at the price I paid. It looks very nice on my patio (I bought it in red).
If I have problems with it, I plan on updating my review (and possibly changing my rating), but it seems like it is better than one should expect at the price. Of course, I do not expect it to be the best ever made, as that would be ridiculous to have such an expectation for such an inexpensive umbrella, but this, so far, *seems* like it is the best umbrella I have ever owned. Certainly, it is the best looking one.
Great quality Umbrella
Really like this umbrella. I got it to replace one I got a couple of years ago as the old one doesn’t tilt. This one is fantastic quality. The ratchet mechanism is solid and it holds tightly in place. It fits perfectly into our parasol stand beneath the patio table. Colour is claimed to be none fading for 2 years. It would be nice if it were fade resistant for longer than this but we’ll see how it goes. Very pleased so far!
Looks great but no base.
This is large and looks excellent. You have to buy a base if you don’t have a hole in your outside table like we do (see pictures). The umbrella is heavy and, according to the leaflet that came with it, requires a base more than 47ibs (21kg). I spent 20 on a base which is only 9kg so no good. It is a significant cost which you have to factor in when buying any patio umbrella. There is a ratchet type lever which you turn to put the umbrella up and down. That works well and is easy to use. Easy to put together but with it being heavy it is easier with two people. At the time of writing this review the price is about right at 80 for a 9 foot canopy. Just remember the 30-40 for the base.
It took a couple tries to get the right color I ordered, but when I did receive them (bought two) I absolutely love them. We had a day with significant wind, I wasn't able to bring them in right away. They are well made and quite sturdy. They managed just fine with no damage.

Our patio gets zero shade from trees (since we don't have any) and this umbrella does a great job of it. It's easy to put up and down and has been a lifesaver in the summer sun. I always make sure to put it down, so I'm not sure how it would fare in wind stronger than a consistent breeze, but I'd rather not chance it.

Good value, subtly attractive
This is well made and easy to set up. The material is sturdy but not coarse. I love the style and the color, which are pleasant but not glaring. I will upload some pictures to show the very good quality, especially given the price.

This umbrella is a much nicer quality than what we had before. The fabric is thicker and after a summer outdoors it has not shown any signs of fading or wear. The spokes are very sturdy and even held up well when it was left open during moderate winds and heavy rains. It fits perfectly into our existing table and base and I really appreciate the tilt feature as I can more accurately keep the sun off of me when outside. My only qualm would be that it doesn't have a cover of any sort to put over the umbrella when it's time to store it for the winter.

Nice patio umbrella
This is a really nice patio umbrella. It feels sturdy and strong. The fabric is opaque and provides excellent shade. I’ve had it up for a while now and the color has not faded. The crank handles easily, so folding it up or out is not difficult at all.
I am really happy with this umbrella and have no real complaints at all. I would recommend this as a replacement or compliment to any set.

We had a high wind rain storm. It blew my umbrella up and off of the base on my glass outdoor table onto the lawn. The next day I woke up to a umbrella that was in perfect condition, just as I originally purchased it! It was not bent and did not have a dent nor a ding on it! I will purchase this umbrella again. I am very pleased with the construction of this product!

This umbrella was super easy to assemble, just insert the bottom pole into the top one, stick it through your table, and crank it open. Ta da! It provides great coverage and the crank mechanism is very smooth. It's important to note that it doesn't come with a base, but that wasn't a problem for us as we are using it with a patio table that's made for an umbrella. I also like that there's a piece of fabric that wraps around the umbrella and secures it when it's closed so you don't have to worry about wind coming up under it and carrying it away (which actually happened with our old umbrella). Overall, this is a great addition to our back yard.

This is a GREAT umbrella- I was shocked at the quality. It's sturdy, made from what looks to be high quality material (none of that cheap flimsy ripply nylon from patio umbrellas I remember as a kid), and looks really great in our yard. You DO need to get a stand for it, though.

Decent Umbrella
This is a decent umbrella. The fabric is on the light side.
I live in a fairly windy area. The hardware is heavy-duty but I’m concerned how well it will do in wind. Frankly, it doesn’t look very bendable. Compounding the problem is that the wind vent is very small and at the top. I don’t see it allowing a lot of wind through, so am concerned the heavy-duty tines will break, since they can’t bend.
There’s no base but that isn’t a problem for me, since I’m replacing an umbrella that gave out but the old marble base works fine with this new one.
Mechanically, you snap the poles together and crank it open. Tilts well too. All is fine now. I’m just concerned with upcoming gusts of wind. As you can see from my photo, the nylon cord that works off a pully is on the outside of the pole for easy access.

Your Standard Umbrella
Isn’t a cheap piece of junk but also isn’t super high end. We dropped with in our weighted base between the two lounge chairs next the pool and had no issues. The female tube of the base was probably 3/4″ to an inch bigger than the pole of the umbrella, but with the bolts locked down on the base, it doesn’t move or flop around at all. They also make adapter things so they fit more snug, but unneeded in this case.
Cranks out and in fine, looks good and no issues. I expect to get a couple years out of it in the South Florida sun, as long as I don’t leave it extended out in the wind and so the sun isn’t beating on it EVERY day. Overall, no complaints.

Nice umbrella. The hardware feel sturdy. The fabric feels thinner than I’m used to. Investing in a cover or storing it when not in use feels like a must. The fabric is a cool beige (I got the beige one), is slightly darker than I expected and matches the concrete in my backyard.
Not that this is an umbrella only. No base and no weights and no weighted base. Those need to be additionally purchased in order to hold the umbrella upright.

Love the Umbrella- Two things for you to think about:
Well, the only thing I wish I had thought to pay attention to is if it tilts. I didn’t think about it because I’ve never owned such a large table umbrella but a tilt would be nice. If it could tilt then you could better direct the shade. So something for you to think about and learn from my mistakes.
This does not come with a stand. It’s heavy enough that even in the hole of my table it tends to want to flop to one side or the other. A stand would stop that from happening. We just used some old bricks we had on hand with a hole in each one to anchor this down to keep it from slightly leaning. (The hole in my table is bigger than the stick on the umbrella so the umbrella has a tendency to flop just a bit to the side).
Having said those two things I have nothing bad to say about this umbrella. It is very sturdy. The pole is big enough that it can hold up the big umbrella without fear of breaking.
It was easy to install (it came in two parts). It is easy to open up and take down. The turning handle is well labeled and that helps so you don’t have to guess what to do.
When we set it up my husband commented on the quality of the umbrella and noted that the seams were straight and it looked like the stitching was thick enough that it wouldn’t rip apart with just a few uses.

the main problem with umbrellas is the sun wearing down the fabric. I will update this review once the summer is over as it needs time to see if the sun affects the fabric.

I already had a umbrella stand and slide it to the edge of the balcony, placing the umbrella in it, then zip tying it to the balcony railing. Perfect! Now the balcony in in the shade in the afternoon and, bonus, it keeps the sun from heating up the sliding glass doors. This keeps my unit much cooler.

About the heather beige colo
In the product description this looks like a light tan (beige) color. However in person it has a slight olive green tint to it. Here is a picture next to my old light tan umbrella and you can see the difference.
This is not one of the cheaper umbrellas, so I was expecting more of a premium feel. But this has low quality stitching and thin plastic parts such as a very thin cap on top. I’m not sure how long this will last outdoors in the weather.

I’m using this Fruiteam umbrella in my patio and it works great. It’s sturdy and doesn’t blow around in the wind. It is easy to set up and to open and close. It looks great and provides great coverage. Overall, I would recommend this Fruiteam umbrella for its look and sturdiness.

Have just had this umbrella up a few weeks, but it looks to be a very sturdy one, and we like the tie around the middle to secure it when not in use. Provides good relief from the sun. Hopeful that it does not fade.

The quality is excelle
I ordered two of these patio umbrellas because they are fade resistant. Our patio has constant sun exposure and our old umbrellas looked so bad when they faded.

Umbrella arrived quickly and is a good deal for the price
Immediately after opening the box and removing this umbrella the high quality is self evident. Putting the pole in the base and attaching the umbrella could not be any simpler. Again when you turn the crank to raise the umbrella the quality is very apparent. It loos good, it feels good, it performs beyond expectations. A definite winner in my book.
This is a beautiful umbrella. Just received it today in good shape. I had painted my cast iron patio set midnight blue and was concerned the navy blue umbrella might be a lighter shade of navy blue. It blends well together and is “fade resistant”, per documentation on umbrella. Happy with my purchase.
