Anbau, war sehr leicht und auch die Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung.
Wir hatten vorher einen Schlauchwagen, da war es immer sehr mhsam den Schlauch auf zu Rollen. Aber mit der Schlauchboot kein Problem mehr.
große Erleichterung beim Geiße
Die Schlauchbox erleichtert das Geien enorm, einfach den Schlauch auf die erforderliche Lnge ausziehen und gemtlich durch den Garten ziehen und gieen.
Wir haben der Einfachheit halber eine Markierung am Schlauch angebracht, bei der wir wissen, dass wir an alle Stellen im Garten kommen. Wir sind berzeugt von diesem Produkt.

Ich gehre zu den Menschen die einen dreckige Gartenschlauch hassen. Schlauchtrommeln hatte ich daher schon viele. Aber einfach mal am Schlauch ziehen und zusehen wie er sich von allein aufwickelt. Genial. Wnschte ich htte diese Schlauchbox schon frher entdeckt.

Il se droule facilement, le fait qu’il pivote est pratique et le renroulage est extrmement satisfaisant avec le petit systme qui fais enrouler de gauche droite !
Gute Qualitä
Zuerst habe ich mir einen Billigheimer gekauft, nach ein paarmal abrollen hat das Teil beim Aufrollen geklemmt. Wieder abgebaut, zurck gebracht, diesen von Gardena gekauft, keine Probleme mehr. Rollt wunderbar sauber wieder auf, so liebe ich das, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Keine billig Qualitt vor allem der Schlauch ist hochwertig, nicht wie man es von anderen Produkten kennt.
Natrlich auf Grund der Schlauchlnge etwas kraftaufwndig zum abziehen auch bentigt er hilfe beim aufspulen, das ist aber keinen Stern Abzug wert, ich bin zufrieden.
Robuster qualitativ sehr guter Eindruck
Wickelt sehr ordentlich ab und vor allem wieder auf. Bei Nutzung des Schlauches kann es auch zum
Knicken kommen, die Knickstelle geht aber komplett wieder nach dem Lsen raus.
A pleasure to use
I was fed up of tangling leaky hoses that turned a simple task into a chore – this albeit expensive option is perfect – the locking mechanism and recoil is an example of excellent engineering.
I feel that this should last many years it just feels so durable, in fact I bought a second 20 meter version for the from of the cottage.
Fitting is easy, I would suggest making a template and giving it some height to allow for use over longer distances – throughly recommended.

Schlauchbox sehr durchdachtes geiles Teil
von der Montage bis zur Inbetriebnahme gab es nichts auszusetzen. Zur Montg bengigt man eine Schlagbohrmaschine, 1x8mm Bohrer ein Hammer und fr die fr die mitgeleiferten Schlossschrauben einen entsprechenden Schlssel oder eine Rtsche.

Endlich kein Schlauch Salat mehr, htte ich schon frher kaufen sollen. Langlebigkeit kann noch nichts sagen.

Easy to mount and much more sturdy than the hozelock 40m hose. The hozelock one only gives you short screws, which reviews show that it can be prone to coming off the wall, but this Gardena hose comes with decent length screws.

Nachdem unsere alte Box nach 8 Jahren den Geist aufgegeben hat musste eine neue her.
Der Preis ist zwar beachtlich fr das Teilhaber bei 600 qm Garten ist es nun mal unausweichlich viel Schlauch zu verlegen. Und das einrollen passiert von ganz alleine.
Eher nicht geeignet fr sandige innehfe da der Sand dann ” ins getriebe” kommt .

Der Schlauch Box sieht sehr robust aus. Der Schlauch lsst sich sehr gut ausrollen und einrasten. Man muss nur aufpassen beim einrollen dass der Schlauch sauber ist, da sonst Dreck in der Box sammelt und irgendwann rollt nicht mehr wie es soll

It took me around ten minutes to install the hosepipe using the included accessories – simply screw the metal spike into the ground and then attach the unit to the top. The reel unit is easily removed for storage over the winter or when not in use if required. The water is fed through the reel from a standard hose connector.
In use the ratchet is smooth and easy to use. You can unreel as much hose as you need then when you are finished it will pull the hose back with just a gentle tug on the end.
It is a little bit pricey, but should last for many many years so in my opinion represents good value for money.

Die Schlauchbox hat sich fr mich bezahlt gemacht. Mit der Reichweite des Schlauchs kann ich den ganzen 400qm Garten abdecken und sogar ein bisschen mehr. Die Abroll-/Aufrollmechanik funktioniert einwandfrei und ist wirklich eine Arbeitserleichterung. Der Trger besteht zwar aus Plastik ist aber sehr robust und bei abrollen des Schlauchs gibt es keine Zweifel, dass der Halten hlt und an der Wand bleibt. Das von Gardena zur Schlauchbox mitgelieferte Befestigungsmaterial ist von Premiumherstellern und ist fr die Anwendung sehr gut dimensioniert. Hier gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

This hose reel is a fairly standard good quality auto reel that you may have seen before but with one difference. Instead of mounting it on the wall, it mounts on a ground spike. This allows you to mount it anywhere in the garden rather than having to be next to a house or building. You do of course still need access to a tap, but you can run a fixed piece of hosepipe for that.
The ground spike is easy to screw into the soil, though make sure you do this while the ground is soft. It comes with a screw handle, which after use cleverly stores in the spike so you don’t lose it. The reel itself can be removed from the spike easily for winter storage without having to take the spike out. The spike comes with a weather proof cap to protect it when you do this.
You could mount it next to a house too. This may be useful for those that are not comfortable drilling to fit, or don’t want to pay someone else to do it. No tools are required (except a small screwdriver to assemble the cover).

The product arrives in Gardena packaging and would make a fabulous gift for keen gardeners. Gardena is typically a little more expensive than other brands but this is a well known German gardening brand with a deservedly high reputation for quality which since 2007 has been a subsidiary of Husqvarna, an equally reputable Swedish brand.
This hose box is easy to install and exudes the kind of quality you’d expect from Gardena. It’s well thought out and though I had reservations about the installation fixture, the metal ground spike mechanism worked well.
There is a 1.5m connecting hose between the outdoor tap and the body of the hose. Not enough? – No reason why you couldn’t substitute a longer connecting piece of your own. The hose, incidentally, is 11mm in diameter.
This hose feels sturdy. It’s easy to move and swivels perfectly in a 360 degree circle. The hose extends smoothly and easily and with the patented RollControl technology here there’s no tangles. When you stop pulling out the hose, the built-in locking device automatically engages at the length you want it. A slight pull upwards and the hose is automatically rolled up.
This Gardena hose has UV and frost protection which for me, as the owner of a wall mounted competitor brand of hose is great as my hose has become very much discoloured and the hose end piece has suffered in winter frosts.
My current hose, by contrast to this, takes effort to pull out – and to reel in too by means of a manual winding mechanism on the wall mounted housing. This Gardena version takes away all the effort and increases the ease of watering plants.
The hose box is compact and looks smart yet unobtrusive in its grey tones – perfectly blending in with the garden unlike some hose boxes which can stand out and mar the overall vista. The hose box has even been adjusted to the height of Gardena mowing robots – if you’re lucky enough to have one – so they’ll mow the lawn around it without any problems.
This Gardena hose box is truly innovate technology. It comes with a sprayer with two different spray patterns – and a long 5 year warranty. A really excellent product, you could of course place more than one hose box within a larger sized garden. Once you try that swivel feature, you’ll find it hard to go back to a regular design of hose.

There is a 1.5m connecting hose between the outdoor tap and the body of the hose. Not enough? – No reason why you couldn’t substitute a longer connecting piece of your own. The hose, incidentally, is 11mm in diameter.
This hose feels sturdy. It’s easy to move and swivels perfectly in a 360 degree circle. The hose extends smoothly and easily and with the patented RollControl technology here there’s no tangles. When you stop pulling out the hose, the built-in locking device automatically engages at the length you want it. A slight pull upwards and the hose is automatically rolled up.
This Gardena hose has UV and frost protection which for me, as the owner of a wall mounted competitor brand of hose is great as my hose has become very much discoloured and the hose end piece has suffered in winter frosts.
My current hose, by contrast to this, takes effort to pull out – and to reel in too by means of a manual winding mechanism on the wall mounted housing. This Gardena version takes away all the effort and increases the ease of watering plants.
The hose box is compact and looks smart yet unobtrusive in its grey tones – perfectly blending in with the garden unlike some hose boxes which can stand out and mar the overall vista. The hose box has even been adjusted to the height of Gardena mowing robots – if you’re lucky enough to have one – so they’ll mow the lawn around it without any problems.
This Gardena hose box is truly innovate technology. It comes with a sprayer with two different spray patterns – and a long 5 year warranty. A really excellent product, you could of course place more than one hose box within a larger sized garden. Once you try that swivel feature, you’ll find it hard to go back to a regular design of hose.

This is really very sturdy. I couldn’t be happier with this item!, tidies up everything, easy enough to install and once in place absolutely superb. I love the way it keeps everything tidy and retracts very easily back after use.
A real god send for keeping things tucked away and also for winter protection.

I did quite a lot of research regarding the best self retractable garden hose and this came up trumps. Do not regret it at all. Easy to assemble, everything you need is in the box and ready to go within 5-10 minutes. Good quality materials as well.
Delivery was fast as always and i was not disappointed, quality pipe with anti kink and a strong retract even if the hose is water filled, what’s more this pivots to the full 180 . The hose reel itself is easy enough to unroll but has a firm rewind that ensures the hose is fully retracted after every use. Particularly impressive is the horizontal slider which automatically and evenly distributes the hose on the reel.
Basically I’m surprised I’m so pleased with a garden hose but this pure quality and while more expensive than some others you really do get what you have paid for. The father-in-law has the HozeLock version and he was experiencing problems with it getting jammed on the auto reel every now and again which swayed me towards this. Pay half, you pay twice, ey?
Wouldn’t have any other brand now. The Gardena has been excellent – it certainly feels like a premium and well-engineered product.

I’ve had several cheap hoses in recent years, because they’ve never lasted due to quality and design issues.
This GARDENA hose is much better build quality that the previous brands I’ve used. The connections are secure and watertight for a start. It just feels robust and that it really is up to the job.
The hose pulls out from its wall mounted case with ease, and retracts back just as easily. The case was simple to attach to the wall.
You generally get what you pay for in life, and this hose shows that if you’re happy to pay more you do indeed get a better hose.
Highly recommended.

Well, I never thought I’d go all waxing lyrical about a garden hose! This is a great design start to finish. Super usable and entirely practical if you have a lawn or can get it fixed in a new poured concrete base. If you check out the pictures above you can see how simple and effective the design is. All the usual hose ‘issues’ are solved. It’s always there ready. The wind in and wind out functions are elegant. No more tiresome manual winding or (to a marked degree) kinking of the hose. It’s a steady, safe motion.
Fix it where you want, close to a outdoor tap is naturally ideal, and it’s then a feature of your garden. Fixing is fine in grass. Everything is included to screw the base into the lawn. Placing the hose unit itself is easy. You don’t need to be a DIY expert. I am also assuming you can do the same in a fresh poured concrete patio say. Of course, if the ground/surface is too hard or soft you may have difficulties, so choose your day or location carefully.
All in it’s hard to fault this item. Construction, design, function all superior. I suppose price is my only gripe, but you’re likely getting the best available hose at this point in time. And it should last if you take care. Solid 4**** for me.

Einfach Gardena
Endlich hat der Schlauchsalat ein Ende. Jetzt macht es wieder Spa, den Garten und die Pflanzen zu wssern.
Die Schlauchbox hngt sehr stabil an der Wand und fr den Winter werden wir die Schlauchbox einfach abhngen und im Keller lagern. Das Wasser ist dann eh abgestellt und dann dann muss die Box nicht unntig drauen hngen bleiben, obwohl sie winterfest ist.
Die Box kann man ganz problemlos aus der Befestigung heraus nehmen und dann sicherlich besser im Winter im Keller lagern, aber das muss jeder fr sich selber entscheiden.

It is very big and bulky, so read about it first. We didn’t realise just how big it was.

Perfekt für meinen Bedarf
Die Schlauchbox macht eunen robusten Eindruck. Einfachste Montage. Sofort einsatzbereit. Ich hatte bisher eine preiswertere Schlauchbox von einem andere Anbieter, die leider nach nicht allzulanger Zeit den Geist aufgegeben hat. Daher auf jeden Fall eine Kaufempfehlung von mir. Doe Kriterien fr Langlebigkeit und Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen.
Einfach nur super.
Den Artikel habe ich mir gekauft, dass ich nicht mehr beim reinigen meiner Teichfilteranlage den Schlauchwagen aufrollen und den Hochdruckreiniger bereit stellen mu. Heute reinige ich nur mit dem Gardena und bin sehr zufrieden.
Perfect for Tidy Gardens!
We have a garden over two levels which requires a lengthy hose. We previously joined two hoses together and had the pain of stretching and constantly untangling them as the water kept on getting restricted.
Although this is not that cheap in my opinion it is definitely worth it! It is easy to assemble, has a great build quality and does the job perfectly with effortless retraction.
An added benefit was how tidy the garden looks without having reals of hoses all stretched out over the garden.
I would view this as a bit of a luxury, but I would never go back and therefore can recommend it as a worthy purchase consideration!
Schluss mit Schlauchknote
Eigentlich wollte ich fr meinen Garten die 20 m Version haben. Da diese immer vergriffen war, habe ich letztlich die 25 m Version bestellt und erreiche jetzt zum Gieen auch wirklich jede Ecke vom Garten und auch einige vom Nachbarn 🙂 Zum Ausziehen braucht mensch schon ein wenig Kraft ansonsten funktioniert die Schlauchbox super. Wie haltbar der Mechanismus und die Gesamtkonstruktion letztlich sind kann ich aus heutiger Sicht natrlich noch nicht mit Sicherheit sagen aber die Box macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und wickelt den Schlauch nach der Benutzung nun seit einigen Monaten zuverlssig und fix wieder auf.
Perfect for Tidy Gardens!
We have a garden over two levels which requires a lengthy hose. We previously joined two hoses together and had the pain of stretching and constantly untangling them as the water kept on getting restricted.
Although this is not that cheap in my opinion it is definitely worth it! It is easy to assemble, has a great build quality and does the job perfectly with effortless retraction.
An added benefit was how tidy the garden looks without having reals of hoses all stretched out over the garden.
I would view this as a bit of a luxury, but I would never go back and therefore can recommend it as a worthy purchase consideration!

Superior hose
This is definitely a superior hose system! it will do what all normal hoses wont! The wall box can swivel which heps with stopping the hose getting stuck on the box or other obstacles and it will stop so wont pull it back in unless you want. The hose easily pulls out when you want and is super easy to retract back in when you want. The hose is a reasonable length at 15m about 47 foot and can get heavy when fully out. It is very good quality, comes with the bracket and is easy to install and use. I appreciate it is costly but is worth it as it uses all the latest technology to make the job of watering your garden easier, the old wind up hoses can be hard work and are always getting stuck. this hose system takes away all that extra frustrating work and smoothly winds the hose back each time. Both myself and my partner are very impressed with this item, obviously we would like it cheaper but we can see why they are charging this amount. A pricey but efficient garden accessory that just makes life a little easier!
