I’m quite new to houseplant care but I know it’s important to neither underwater nor overwater your plants. Apart from sticking your finger into the soil, how can you tell whether your plant needs water or not?
This soil testing meter takes all of the guesswork out of plant care. It measures moisture, light and pH so you just need to look up your plant and find out what it needs.
My Areca Palm needed a lot more water than I was giving it and I should be maintaining the soil at a moist level, which is now super-easy to do as the soil meter tells me when it needs to be watered.
A soil meter is a must have for houseplant care, and you can of course use this 3-in-1 meter in the garden or greenhouse too.
This meter works absolutely fine, no issues. Well made, easy to use.

This device will save me a lot of guess work on wether my bonsai plant needs watering or not and hopefully will save it from dying.
Before now, I’ve been using my eye or even my finger to decide if it requires more water or not ….but with this device. I can leave it in place permanently to know immediately at a glance the current condition of the soil.
Easy to use, just select the item you wish to measure using the sliding tab at the front and insert the progs into the soil. Within seconds the display will show you the results allowing you to make an informed choice on wether you need to take action or not.
