My dad wanted this to protect the birds in his garden from cats. He already had some in places, but noticed a finger cat afyer the poor robins and blue tits. Bought this, screwed it to the fence, quick job, cats cant jump on the fence

As they are flexible, warm them up in hot water to enable them to bend at the creases provided if you have a fence top with a profile as they become much easier to fit. Mine were glued (Instant grab adhesive) and they stuck fast really quick. Hopefully they’ll last and do the job they’re expected to do – keep ‘unwanteds’ out.

We bought these to keep cats our of the back, so we have numerous birds nesting, we put them up the next day, but the cats still get in over the fence, but I’ll persevere hoping it will work. I was easy to apply with wood screws, and it arrived on time

I fixed several strips to a board and put it on the seat of my motorbike. Two local cats had decided to sit on it and had torn the bike cover. The spikes are very sharp and the cats avoid it. Sorted.

The Spikes were delivered promptly and are effective against the pigeons sitting on the fence.
I bought these to stop cats using the top of my gates as scratching posts. And also to deter them from digging the flower beds and fouling the grass. They seem to work well as far as the gates are concerned. And in the beds. So they do a good job and I’m pleased I bought them.
I screwed them to the gate tops but they can simply be laid on the ground too.
I have given no marks for adhesion as I did not try to glue them!

Product is okay if you are attaching it to a wooden fence
Can be attached onto a wooden fence but if it’s a concrete fence need to add to wood before applying so more costs involved just doesn’t clip to the fence

Haven’t seen the cats on the fence and the neighbour hasn’t been back to complain again. The trick is to also add a row of spikes on the side of the fence too (not just the top) as they still managed to climb up when it was just the single top row.

They are tough plastic which although unlikely to break the skin (good) are certainly very uncomfortable to even rest your hand on. I can’t see anyone wanting to lift their body weight on these or rest a knee for very long.
They are pretty easy to fit as pre-drilled with holes at even spaces along the length, although I added some more for extra security. Price is pretty fair for these and they are quite discrete so don’t look dreadful like some other security measures when fitted.

These were bought for a customer who needed to stop cats and teenage boys climbing her fence. So far she has reported that they have been a success.

They definitely do the job well and are easy to install. It would be nice if they came in a silvery-grey colour (less noticeable for weathered fences). The plastic cones are not sharp so would just make walking/sitting on the fence very uncomfortable for cats etc without doing them any injury.

Brilliant just what needed stop cats clawing top of new fence panels 5*****
Easily fixed with short screws, and can be split into narrower lengths of 1 or 2 spike rows if needed. However we found that this fitted a standard fence panel fine as-is. Certainly has stopped the pigeons and cats in their tracks!
