However, on assembly and a brief test before the wind got a bit blowy I’m well pleased. I coupled it up with a 10kg resin parasol pedestal base (Rattan style) from another supplier.

Sturdy and well-made
Excellent product, although the overall height cannot be adjusted. Tilt works well as does windup mechanism. Quite expensive but worth it.

We bought two of these and two separate bases. The umbrellas are lovely, fairly strong and shade well. However, be aware that the poles have a diameter of 37cms and not all bases fit as we discovered!

Check height of controls
Lovely. Unfortunately the Tilt button was too high, but after contacting supplier i can cut the base pole to the best height.
Fabulous parasol
This parasol is large,sturdy,easy to use and has benefit of sun protection within fabric. Perfect for our needs. Tilt facility is a brilliant extra feature. Well worth price.

Our old gazebo had given up the ghost and having fitted new decking recently we decided to go for a parasol instead. Gives good shade and can be easily tilted when the sun has moved round. Covers a large area and also shelters us from the “occasional” shower of rain. It is a nice neutral colour and hopefully will not fade too much. We put it down in windy weather and the mechanism is very easy to use. Just turn the handle one way for up and the other for down. We do tie it up when it is down with a long brown shoelace which matches. Struggled slightly to put it together but should have thought about it first!

Very happy with this umbrella. It’s a great colour and quality. The size is good and the unit looks like it will last quite a few years.
Love it bigger than I thought material is nice and thick easy to use and love the tilt action.
It needs a stand,to keep it steady.
Like my purchase very sturdy , disappointed I didn’t get a stand any suggestions??? I looked but can’t find one for this parasol.Had to take it down too windy today.

Very pleased
This arrived quicker than expected and I was very pleased with the quality. It is strong have placed it in a 20kg granite base.

Difficult to review as only had it for a couple of days. Appearance, assembly and operation all good. However, will have to wait and see how it fairs over longer time. Our worry is that it’s much lighter than our old one but time will tell.
