Great one battery cuts both front and back lawns with some charge remaining. Both lawns approx 130 sq meters. No mains cable to drag or petrol engine starter cord pulling.

Easy to set up . Easy to use and made cutting my lawn in half the time it used to take.
Assemble and battery slots in/out super easy.. the grass collector works again very simply and the height setting is again super simple – all of this is really impressive from an ease of use.
Next it’s power and ability to cut – yes impressed with the power output and the cutting ability even in wet grass had to unblock a few times but to be expected in these conditions per any cable mower.
41cn blade length is plenty for small and medium gardens – this garden I’m at is very large think 600-800m2
The big challenge as I would expect with any battery operated mower is battery life. I have 1 x 2ah 1 z 2.5ah and a 1 x 4ah. I’d say the 2ah lasted about 25mins the 2.5ah about 30mins and the 4ah about 40mims but in heavy grass conditions. So
If you can afford 3 battheries then invest in the 4ah if you can get one.

I’d say this is a great buy for a medium/large garden amd someone who likes the energy release of pushing this as it’s light and moves well not power driven.
For a garden our size long term options is likely to be a wider blade of 50+ and need to work out if the carbon difference of petrol vs charging 4 x batteries equates
I also have the chainsaw, hedge cutters and the large strummer ( the legs strummer is excellent)
I like greenworks products, leafblower is excellent, but using 40v battery on lawn mower, allow 30 mins after battery if not longer to allow battery to cool down. So when they say 30 min charge….. allow 1 to 1.5 hours before you can use a battery again!
Much smaller and lighter than my petrol but similar power. Doesn’t run low during the 30 mins to cut my lawn. Not self propelled like my old petrol but that is offset somewhat due to being much lighter. Pretty good overall.
Have Greenworks lawn mower three times and I am very impressed with the cut and build quality. The battery last along time and have used it on different lawn surfaces with no problems. So highly recommended.

This lawn mower will no longer start. I have done a lot of research to figure this out and it seems that h lawn mower has a reputation for lasting only a few mows. Not impressed. Very expensive piece of junk that’s not easy to get rid of now

Moins bruyante qu’une thermique, evidemment plus facile dmarrer, monte en 5 minutes.
Je regrette juste de n’avoir pris que 2 batteries. Une troisime est ncessaire car 2 ne suffisent pas, la charge de l’une pendant que j’utilise l’autre n’est pas assez rapide.
Per il mio prato di 200m2 ottimo. Tagliare l’erba diventa un’esperienza rilassante. Inoltre avendo anche altri attrezzi da giardino della stessa marca utilizzo le medesime batterie da 40V.
This mower is so easy to operate and is light and manoeuvrable. I bought an extra battery to ensure that I don’t run out of power (I have quite a large lawn) and intend to get a hedge trimmer in the dame range that used the same battery
Funziona molto bene sia con il cesto raccolta che in versione mulching. Maneggevole abbastanza leggero facile da usare meno rumoroso dei soliti tagliaerba e sopratutto sicuro. Per tenerlo in funzione necessario tenere sempre premuta la leva quindi praticamente impossibile farsi male
Fr unsere Rasenflche von ca. 100 m/2 sehr gut geeignet. Akkukapazitt reicht fr 2 x mhen.
Un ottimo attrezzo per tagliare l’erba in completa comodit e funzionalit….L’autonomia per piccoli prati, pi o meno 30 minuti garantiti. Per lavori pi grandi penso sia preferibile prendere una seconda batteria per non allungare troppo i tempi di lavoro.
On a good day, this little machine can do my lawn on one charge and as it is quite big, I am pleased with that. Had a slight problem (my fault) with charging the battery, phoned the supplier, spoke to a PERSON who was very helpful and solved the problem. Very pleased with it so far.
Trs trs content de ce produit 41cm Belle qualit de fabrication, la tondeuse est trs lgre. dans son ensemble le niveau de bruit est infrieur la moyenne, son bruit n’est mme pas dsagrable entendre au final- l’ensemble des serrages rapide fonctionne plutt pas mal -le mulching fonctionne merveille c’est bluffant. Trs puissante pour un moteur sur batterie et bonne autonomie galement et en plus elle a une super gueule

This was delivered very promptly. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but not excessively so. It went together easily with reasonable instructions in the usual pictorial form. I find this type of instructions rather difficult at times, but as there was not much to actually do it was fine.
So, I charged the battery and set forth on my allotment to mow the surrounding paths and areas nearby. There was some quite long grass which required cutting on the higher setting and then again on a lower setting. But this was no more of a problem than using a petrol mower in the same situation.
The grass collector took a really good amount of grass and I didn’t have any problem with it overfilling and dropping cuttings on the ground. I haven’t used the mulching accessory so I have no opinion about that.
Changing cutter height is OK but it feels like it might not work well for long. We will see.
Battery life was maybe not as long as I would like, though I did challenge the machine with some fairly long grass.
I think the life will be fine for my uses, so long as I don’t neglect the mowing. If necessary I would be happy to purchase a second battery.
The charger was sufficiently rapid. I do find the odd little red safety “plug thing” a bit strange. Easy to lose as other reviewers have noted.
All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. Price-wise it is reasonable compared with some other more well known brands. But I didn’t want to spend loads of money for a device to use on my allotment. So a good compromise.
Would I recommend it to others? Yes, so long as you don’t need to cut a lot of heavy, long grass. But considering this is a “lawn mower” I thought it did very well on my sloping and uneven allotment paths.
My husband is more than happy with this product. The. Charge on the battery is enough to completely mow our lawn which a medium sized one. The battery charges in 1 hour so we only bought one battery.
Really pleased with this lawnmower, it’s lightweight and easy to use. The 2ah battery doesn’t take long to charge and it lasts long enough to mow approx 100m squared. For more power you can get a 4ah battery. Recommended.

Bought this to replace a heavy petrol mover. What a difference. This mower is really well designed and built. Very easy to push and manoeuvre. I can cut my 150 square yard lawn in 15 minutes, quicker than the petrol mower which is self propelled. It also cuts better than the other. I’d never heard of Greenworks before but it seems it it a Chinese Brand that sells all over the world, backed up by the user guides which are in loads of languages. So pleased with this that a bought a spare battery and a leaf vac. Cutting my lawn uses half a battery.
I’m rubbish at assembling items and never read manuals so gave that task to a friend who assembled the mower very quickly. I own a greenworks strimmer so fortunately have the lithium battery which works within the complete range. It wasn’t entirely clear that you have press the grey button and then pull the leaver to start the mower but a quick demo via youtube explained that. All in all I am very impressed with it. It’s very robust and easily deals with my ‘mature’ garden (50ft). I’m only sorry it took me so long to buy it. More senior folk might have difficulty with it’s size and weight. From an eco point of view it’s a wonderful option and worth considering particularly if ever on sale. One extra point – it’s worthwhile purchasing the mower with two batteries so you have an extra one charging whilst using the othe
This is one of the best household/garden gadgets that I have ever purchased. It is easy to mow the lawn, and the cuttings hopper is more than adequate for a medium-sized lawn. The battery recharges exceptionally quickly, and on full charge is adequate for both my back and front lawns.
The blade is not as long as more expensive models meaning more trips up and down the garden. Weigh this up against the ease of mowing and for me it wins hands down.
I mowed 180m square metre garden (almost exactly 10 m by 18 m) draining half a 2 amp battery each time. Once I did a long cut after the winter and then a shorter cut straight afterwards and the battery had no lights when pressed but equally did not run out.
I had a self propelled petrol mower which died from lack of maintenance and this mower is so much easier. My garden is on a slope – not extreme – but this represented no difficulty.
The cut goes very low if needed and is very easy to adjust as it is spring loaded – to low for me to use as I have a poorly maintained moss filled lawn.
You can easily see how full the bag is by lifting the plastic flap a little – no need to remove bag to see.
There is a one second delay on starting as the blade gets up to speed but this is really very short and hardly noticeable.
If cutting a thick long patch the motor struggles as did my petrol mower but if you go slowly through it it copes well – not great for the lawn I know.
Folding the mower arm really is as easy as it looks.
Note hat the model I bought had no batteries or charger – I already had them.
In summary I am really pleased I got this as mowing is so much easier and the power seems more than adequate.
Upgraded from a small hover mower and so glad we did.
Nie wieder Kabel oder Benziner. Gott sei Dank! Mit einem entsprechend starken Akku kann man locker 1000 m mit mhen. Das Mhergebnis ist sehr gut. ber den Fangkorb kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nur mulchen.
Wollen wir nur hoffen das er lange hlt.
