This is a really good cordless hoover. It is really light to hold. I’m always surprised by how much it picks up and it’s great to use on the stairs. I hardly use my main hoover now as it is very heavy to take up and down the stairs. There is also a feather duster like attachment that attaches to the handle which I did not think I would use but it is handy for cobwebs and light dusting. The only downside is the dust compartment is a bit stiff to remove for emptying, but not so bad too put me off using it.

I like the light weight of this product. I have used it everywhere in the house, carpets floors and stairs.
Bought this because it cleans right up to the skirting boards. Brilliant for first six months and now
is a real struggle to pick up anything without going over it again and again even on open carpet.
I bought this item a few years ago. I needed a new one so I bought it again but this time it appears more fragile and doesn’t pick up as well.
Thoroughly recommend these . Just replaced a very old one which still worked but looked tatty after years of hard use !
I can’t use a normal GTech , although I have one , now as my back is bad , but these are so light and keep floors tidy and clean and the big one does the deep suction .
I use this cleaner every day to keep my floor surfaces free of bits, especially the kitchen.
And no fiddly bags to contend with, just a simple little drawer to pull out and tip away. It works on all surfaces, and does not take long to take out the hairs or bits that become entangled in the long bristles. I use a fork which work well. Or I think you can get some sort of a comb from the manufacturers shame there was not one included.
Only dislike is batteries keep dropping from base of sweepe
This was to replace a GTech previous sweeper that I had had for several years. This is an excellent replacement and I am very pleased with its performance as a sweeper. Very handy to use as it is cordless and does a great job.
If you’re looking for a replacement household electric vacuum, then this is probably not for you. This sweeper is first class on wooden / no carpeted floors and good on shallow pile carpeted floors. It will struggle on deep pile carpets.
If you need something for a quick run round the kitchen or main hard floors once or twice a day then this is perfect. We use it for where the kids usually leave a trail of crumbs and destruction
Also very handy for cleaning the boot in the car and the stairs, remove the main pole and it’s very light to use with one hand.

Remember, it is not a vacuum, it’s a carpet sweeper. It is quite amazing how good this is & it actually leaves marks as if I have vacuumed. It’s lightweight, so easy to use & I’m on crutches. Have tried others that I thought were good, but this is the best. Quite stunned by what it sweeps up from carpets, the usual bits plus hair & fluff that you don’t realise is there. Also works well on tiled/lino floors. Love it!
I did find one of the poles hard to insert into place but haven’t had any problems other than that.
Its quick and easy to use especially with human and pet hair, I find removing the front visor is better for method of removing hair from the brush and unlike others I’ve had it didn’t take very long to remove hair from it.
I found it a little fiddly to fit the pole into the base unit but eventually succeeded. The top part can sometimes come loose. I suspect, however, that this is more my ineptitude than anything else.
My previous sweeper’s brushes were difficult to clean and the container often came loose meaning have of the contents ended up on the floor rather than the bin. Neither apply to this machine. It’s easy to use, easy to empty, and easy to keep clean.
Highly recommended.
For a sweeper it’s quite powerful BUT what I didn’t like was that it takes 16 hours to fully charge for less than 60 mins of run time. Surely it shouldn’t take this long?
Great little gadget very seldom need to se my Hoover now.
Delighted with this, as needed a very lightweight cleaner that was easy to empty and had no complicated filter system. It came well packed and is a sturdy little cleaner for small everyday jobs. Have not tried it much on the stairs as purchased daily for simple floor cleaning.

I use this because it is lighter than the normal cleaners which, at present, are too heavy for me. I cannot comment re stairs as I do not have stairs nor on hairs as I have no animals.
As a light weight carpet cleaner this is great for a quick tidy. I have mine upstairs and use to run round the bedrooms.
The suction is good – obviously not as strong as a hoover but works more than efficiently. Hair does get wrapped round the brush but then always does. (Even with the “hair friendly” brushes.)
I’ve also round this brilliant for the stairs, run back and forth then sideways.

Lightweight and easy to use. Very efficient and makes cleaning up crumbs etc. easy.
Brilliant sweeper for every day use instead of a vacuum. I ordered this sweeper as a replacement for an older one different brand but similar. Easy to use for stairs, like that the handle is retractable too. My carpets look like new! Most impressed. It is noisy though, and when on charge the light stays on red, not changing to green when charged enough. The only downsides.

8 or 9 years ago I bought an SW02 – My husband said he didn’t understand why I wanted it. Then….. he never stopped using it – Still working ok but…felt that it wasn’t at its best so bought another one.

I bought this form my mum who wanted light weight sweeper. She is happy with it but I think it falls short compared to other sweepers she had the, in the past.
This one is noisy and feels plastic.
Love this sweeper. Great for Rheumatoid sufferers. It is light to handle and cleans effectively. Helps maintain a safe and clean environment . Also it helps older and less able keep living independently.
I bought this to replace one that had broken that I have had and used regularly in-between vacumning for 6/7 years. Therefore needed a new one which was purchased and am delighted with it.
I’ve got a cordless Dyson but since having a back operation I can’t hoover everyday. Got a blue carpet which holds onto every bit of white fluff and my horrendous moulting bright grey hair and it picks up ALL of it! Lived in this flat 10years and carpets have never looked so good. So light-weight I can run over my lounge and hallway EVERYDAY!
This is my second buyof this product. G Techproducts have a great pick up and so light to use, especially in the kitchen where there`s a lot of footfall there.wouldn`t be without it.I have a Robot Hoover also, but because the kitchen always needs crumbs etc hoovered a few times in a day It saves power in the Robot for the time set for Robot to clean floors in rest of the house. I do recommend it.
This was a replacement for our last Power Sweeper which was about 8 years old. It is very light to use and the build of the machine has improved, the feather duster attachment is a very good idea, the pick up of bits etc is very good however I am not so impressed with the noise that it makes, to me it is a little noisier than our previous sweeper.

This is the best best that I have made in a very long time. I have back problems and found a manual carpet sweeper hard work, but this one just glides over any carpet or flooring. I’m amazed at just how much it picks up .
it is proving to be a really good electric brush. It is especially good on carpet and because it is so light and easy to handle, my wife thinks it is excellent. She has a bad back and cannot use our vacuum cleaner. This GTech is brilliant for her.

I’m very pleased with this cordless sweeper it works just as well as a hoover. I’ve used it quite a lot over the past three weeks since I’ve had it and it’s still going strong on the first charge I gave it when I first received it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Well I have the original G-Tech vacuumcleaner ( for 4 years now) , together with the hand-held one for stairs & upholstery/car inte
rior. etc. Now I have this very lightweight one for my ground floor, which has newly installed hard wood. So, main vacuum lives upstairs for carpets, downstairs has the new suction sweeper and the handheld is for everything else! No more carrying from ground to first floor. The whole object of the exercise – and problem solved, thanks to G-Tech.
I am very pleased with this product. It is lightweight, deals easily and effortlessly with small jobs (crumbs, dry spillages etc) and has easily enough suction power for these, whilst not competing with a full size vacuum cleaner. It gets into corners well and rarely requires recharging. One tiny reservation I have is that the dust container can be tricky to remove, but I have found that it is better not to push it back in too forcefully so that it comes out more easily!
Great little sweeper. Get it out most days to keep things clean and tidy. Not to be mistaken with a vacuum cleaner. Picks up most things and the dust tray is easy to empty. Keep the roller clean by cutting away hair as this really does collect it.
It has a good suctioning for a battery hoover I charged my for 16 hours and the battery light stays red where it is supposed to be green so a bit worried about that as being disabled and in wheel chair so hovering is easier to use very light I don’t have any carpet so I can’t answer that oh and the tray where the dirt goes is easy to empty ou

I like this sweeper. I had one before just exactly the same and it lasted eight years until the removal men knocked the handle off. I love it and it sweeps well. Can’t fault it really I do not have stairs so can’t comment on that.
This is a great little sweeper light weight and gets close to edges of carpet I thought my carpets were clean till I used this the only thing is the top handle does come away when using it but solved this by glueing it definitely recommend
Upgraded from original version. Great for picking up stray cat litter pellets!
The one change that I dislike is the charging system, preferred the old stand and also when the light changed from red to green when fully charged.
Could be a little more powerful, especially for getting dog hair up
I can’t rate this brilliant little sweeper enough we have two cats and I use it daily you should see the amount of hair it gets up, great for a quick sweep around on both hard floors rugs/carpets.
I use it more than my main vacuum cleaner it’s very light, I have a bad back so really easy to lift/use, a four hour charge gives two full hours of use I’ve had my latest one about a month and only just charged it up which is amazing!
I’ve taken out the 3 year insurance just in case the handle should break (but don’t think I will need it)
Don’t bother looking at others (have also had the Dyson animal) this little gem is the one you need!

This is a good sweeper – it certainly does a better job that another well known make which it replaces. It was easily assembled and it’s very handy having it plugged in to charge during the day. It’s light and easy to use for quick tidy ups without having to trail out a much heavier vacum cleaner. My only complaint would be that it is quite noisy (almost like a rattly sound) but apart from that it does the job and I’m happy with it.
Love this, so handy for quick sweep. I didn’t like it for the stairs as I managed to empty the sweepings – but that could have been my fault just haven’t tried it again. My rating on hair was given trying to sweep up after hairdresser was here so maybe I expected too much – it’s fine with small amounts though.

I am exceptionally happy with this little sweeper. Picks up really well, easy to store, easy to empty (it fills up quickly). However, Gtec have since brought out a small vacuum cleaner, very similar to the sweeper but bigger and with more suction (it claims) but twice the price. I use my sweeper just to pick up small bits off the kitchen floor that I’ve spilt when cooking. It’s great getting into all the corners. Like that you an use it minus the handle to give the stairs / sofa etc a quick clean up too.
Bought this for my 81 yr old Mom for doing the upstairs as she has a heavy Dyson vacuum, it is so light and the base unit can be used for the stairs. Just plug in to charge (like you do a phone) and off you go, the suction is strong and the dirt box easily slides out to empty, Mom loves it and I feel better as she was a fall risk taking that heavy vacuum up the stairs

I find it a pleasure to use and it is very effective at picking up pieces and fluff from wool/man-made fibre carpets and vinyl floors. I am always surprised at the amount of fluff it picks up after a sweep; particularly keeping in mind that it is not a vacuum cleaner. The charging station is effortless to use and the only thing you have to bend down for is to empty the dust container, which is best done on a regular basis every one or two cleans.
At first the slight static charge in the dust collecting container was an irritation, until I realised without it the dust and fluff would spill out of the container too easily. It just means tapping it a couple of times when emptying the contents into a bin.
Some have commented that they find the motor noisy. While admittedly it is not a refined sound, I haven’t personally found it to be disturbing (and I am sensitive to noise as a HSP). In fact I find it reassuring that it is working hard and is effective.
It is easy to assemble (if you follow the instructions properly) and the height of the handle is adjustable. The one criticism that I would make is that the ratchet system that allows extension or retraction of the handle height, could have been designed with greater precision. When I first used the sweeper I was sensitive to movement within the handle through the pushing and pulling sweeping motions; although I quickly ceased to notice this through regular use. Perhaps the biggest downside amongst all the positives is the price, which is not a sneeze for most people.

Amazing especially for older people or disabled as it is so light. Wish I had bought one sooner.

It is not suitable for a large five bedroom property (nor is it intended to be) but if, like me, you’ve got a small one bedroom flat it’s perfect. I’m so pleased I didn’t waste hundreds of pounds on an expensive Bosch or Dyson vacuum cleaner as this is more than adequate for my needs. Can strongly recommend it.
This product is excellent. I have Rh.Arthritis and is light and very easy to use. Suction power very good. Will certainly buy another one.

This Gtech sweeper is amazing. So lightweight I can lift it up by my little finger. Im a senior lady who has a.bad back and arthritis in my hands and this sweeper is a game changer. It is fantastic for dog hair due to the motorised brush. Battery life good, and now it has a docking station to charge up is a fantastic upgrade. I used to have the older model that you had to plug in but I gave that away to my 94 yr old mother as she was struggling with her heavy hoover. Im really looking forward to when I have saved enough money to buy the Gtech rechargeable mower. That will help me so much.
This was a replacement for an older model that we have had for some years so we knew what to expect. It didn’t disappoint .
Quick delivery, the information is good, it cleans well and easy to empty. For people with mobility problems it’s great, if you can afford it pay a bit extra, it’s worth it.

I bought this gtech sweeper for my 88 year old mum ,I do her cleaning but through the week she likes to hoover around the house herself but her vac had become too heavy for her to push ,wow she loves this and goes through her flat in no time it’s very light and emptying is easy ,and it picks up very well ,mum loves that she is able to do some of her own housework .im impressed too that I’m going to purchase one and then I don’t have to get the big vac out every day .
I really wanted this sweeper for my slate kitchen floor, but it doesn’t pick up that well on bare floors. It’s great on the carpet, and picks up an alarming amount of dog hair. So I’d recommend it for carpets, but probably not if you have bare floors.
May second upright gtech hoover, cheaper, lightweight and easy to empty!
My mother loves this. She is in her 80s and finds it hard to lift anything heavier than a kettle. She is really pleased with the lightness of this vacuum.
Excellent sweeper. I use it every day for a quick squiz around. It works well on carpet, wood floor and tiles. It doesn’t always get the hairs from my wooden floor but it’s amazing how much it picks up from the carpet. It’s definitely easier than getting my clunky hoover out. It takes a while to charge. The charge light doesn’t go green but I charge mine 8 hrs twice a week and use it for 15 mins each day.
Brilliant. Lightweight. I used to push against the carpet pile but not anymore. Goes from carpet to rug to lino without any problems. Lifts pet hair from a rug my hoover couldn’t. Couldn’t be happier with this
A friend had one,loaned it to us for a trial.We then bought one.Have since loaned ours to another friend who has now bought one.( Any chance of a commission ? )
I like it very much that’s why I bought second time after almost 8 years I have still got my old one and use that as well very lightweight but the same time do the job well
This is the second of these devices that I have purchased. The older of the two has been relegated to the garage as a good alternative to sweeping. The new one is just as good, if not better, indoors. It moves easily from wooden floors to carpet and then back again. The new one seems a little noisier than the original but the cleaning power makes up for any of the louder sounds.
It’s really not a bad little hoover. My Gtech Ram has broken after 18 months of continuous use & due to the pandemic I can’t get it fixed. This souped up little hoover is pretty good all told for keeping on top of the pet hair/dust & cat litter in between hoovering with my regular plug in hoover.
This is my second one and I’m as pleased with it as the first time I bought it .. arrived very quickly ..great product ..i find it great with pet hair I have 7 cats,and a dog ..as I have arthritis I find it light but sturdy for daily cleaning in between a big weekly Hoover up … only problem i found and that’s because of the arthritis in my hands was pulling the locking clip out on the base to attach the handle .. can recommend this sweeper ..

A good product but 1 star off for long recharge time and overpriced, I think 50 would be more suitable.
