Excelle
Easy to assemble, nice long strong handle, good width to the well made head and made short work of my back yard leaves and twigs and some soil too, would definitely recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy stiff broom.
I like the solid stainless steel fixing where broom handle attaches to broom head. Very pleased with this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very efficie
This broom is great, really large so sweeps up lots of leaves at a time.
Very pleased with and would recommend.
Big, effective yard brush
As yard brushes go, this one has to be royalty! It’s status in my house is miles higher than any other yard brush.
To illustrate, normally, my outdoor brushes get left outside from year to year. They don’t get stolen or borrowed, they’re just comfortably there when you want them.
THIS one has its own home inside the (padlocked) shed.
Loving my new broom
The broom arrived beautifully packaged and was really easy to assemble. Already tried it on leaves – excellent. Bought it to sweep stray mud from paths. If that works too, I’ll be in heaven.
The Welsh witch
Heavy duty but light!
This outdoor brook does exactly what it says on the tin. It is extremely heavy duty and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. The added metal reinforcer defiantly makes this feel a lot stronger.
It’s a wide brush which is extremely useful.
Overall the brush still feels very light, it is extremely easy to use and is not like some other brands where it can be hard to brush, but nothing seems to much for this brush.
Would highly recommend and very good value for money.
Easy put togethe
Good strong bass broom nice long handle does a great job.
Speeds up sweeping
On my first use of the broom to sweep out the car port that always gets leaves blown in I have to say I was impressed. The brush head is twice the size of the brush I was using before and because of that it massively sped up the time needed to sweep and collect the leaves! Hopefully it lasts a goodly amount of time.
Very sturdy broom
Exactly what I wanted. Needed a broom strong enough to sweep loose gravel that creeps from our drive onto the pavement, previous wooden ones have snapped but this seems man enough for the job.
I did leave a 3 star review preciously as one of the handle sections was faulty however a replacement has been received now hence my new review. That review has disappeared…not sure why?
Useful
Easy to assemble sturdy to use but very light. Great value for money
Best broom ever!
I am mildly addicted to sweeping my garden path and patio, and treated myself to this broom as my last 3 wooden handled brooms broke and I wanted something more sturdy. This broom certainly cuts the mustard, much better sweep than anything I’ve had before. Very happy.
Good company/good service
Bought the broom and liked it very much. Had a small problem with the handle ,contacted the company and it was sorted straight away. Good company and good product.
grea
he way it was offered great very happy will buy all my house and garden things off them very happy well done
Fabulous broom
Love it. Better than anything I could find in a garden centre .
Must have
Great all round. Please note do not leave out in the Rain as the screw end with rust and eventually fall of as this happened my 1st one . But it was my own fault. Hope this helps you make your mind up. But I had to buy it again because it’s the best brush I have ever used. And I use it all day long 4 my Work
Its a broom, and its lightweigh
Look, it’s a broom, and its constructed mostly of metal hollow tubes so it’s light.
Not sure what else people want to know, but it was easy to put together and its quite wide, which I’ve found useful for sweeping up larger areas out the front of the house. Bristles are sturdy enough to move shit around, and not so soft as to make them ineffective.
10/10, does what you’d expect and looks like it’ll last a long time, wide af brush
Great value purchase
Great value purchase. Bought to replace 2 wooden brushes that both broke cleaning up after DIY. Sturdy and with screw fittings that avoid the weak point in traditional brush design.
Excellent produc
Ordered this broom for my son and was so impressed with the quality of this item I have purchased one for myself. Excellent company to deal with.

Yvonne Whittle.
Very Good!
This is a very good product for the money.
A high standard and good quality.
I am very pleased, thank you!
Brilliant best eve
Absolutely brilliant had different kinds over the years this is 100 per cent the best we have ever brought so lightweight yet very strong and sturdy, my husband said at last u have got me a strong decent broom
Heavy duty is accurate
I had bought a brush that broke within 3-4 days of outdoor use. I’m not sure if it’s incredibly low expectations due to that, but I love this brush. It’s incredibly hard-wearing – I’ve used it for some pretty grueling jobs and it’s still in very good shape. I did notice one of the screws for the brace has become loosened, but this is only a minor reduction in it’s strength I would guess.
Sweeps clean, easy to use.
Very easy to assemble and sturdy. Comfortable to use. I did find the pole unscrews from time to time but one can tighten very easily.
Easy to assemble bush head excelle
To clean paving slabs have been looking for a brush like this for years handle good even for my height at 6-5 would use agai
Sturdy and efficient barn broom
Purchased to sweep out my barn, the broom was better than expected and picked up fine dust as I went. Very happy
First impressions
First impressions of this broom are great, I couldn’t fault it. I have only used it once, but impressed so far by how light it is and easy to use. Great product so far, thanks.
Good brush for the money
Like the brush but sometimes does unscrew out of head which is a lil annoying but nothing a permanent fixing can’t solve
Great brush
I’m so glad I ordered this brush it’a easy put together and does the job.
Ok
So far seems like a good sturdy broom and fits into my bunker due to its 3 part handle .
Heavy duty yet lightweight & space saving…
Like the way this broom arrived (needing less packaging) due to its easy assembly via the poles that twist & lock into place or for people like myself with limited storage that need to dismantle after each use. I was very apprehensive about how sturdy it would be as I purchased the broom to use in my garden but I am delighted at how sturdy it has proved to be. Great value for money.
sturdy and. well made
This broom is super sturdy and should by the look of it last for years
Best garden brush ye
It does a real good job really happy I perched
Solid
Never thought I’d leave a review for a broom but it’s a solid piece of kit. I like the thought that’s gone into making it as study as possible. Also easy to unscrew and put away if not needed regularly.
Excellent product - superior to any outdoor broom I’ve ever bough
I don’t often rave about brooms but this one is so superior that I felt compelled to comment on its perfect design and construction- the price also pleased me! It’s not too hefty to push around and it’s broom head picks up even the tiniest specks – all in all this is a prince among brooms
Great buy
This brush does it all-lightweight, sturdy head and good value. Will buy from this company agai
Great garden brush
A well made garden brush. Excellent quality. Very reliable seller.
Its excellent and made in England!
What a brilliant product, well done Dustpan and Brush Company!
Quality
Been promising to buy myself a decent garden broom but one of those things I kept putting off, this broom looks to be a really good quality and sturdy.
A really good Broom at a great price.
The Broom is very sturdy yet light. The handle screws together easily and can be unscrewed for storage in a cupboard.
Great produc
Strong and sturdy broom a little bit heavy but thats mainly the strong metal handle giving it its strength and durability.
Would recommend highly for the garden .
Seems strong enough
Just bought to sweep drive needed strong hard bristle which it has done the job I needed and was easy clean after.
Excellent Produc
Arrived on time. Assembly straight forward.
Robust and pleasingly light weight.
Good looking too !!!
Nice
Nice sized head with a mixture of stiff inner bristles and sifter outer ones. The handle seems quite light weight but screws together well enough. However as it is quite thin walked tubing, I have slipped an old 19.7mm brush stale through the sections to prevent me (in my usual cack-handed way) of tripping and kinking the handle. A potential bonus feature of the handle is that as it’s in three parts, if you are of a shorter disposition or are using the brush in an awkward spot, you can dispense with the middle section and just use the two end pieces screwed together. Don’t know if this was intentional but it may be useful. Very pleased so far.
Surprising
I expected the extendable handle to be far less sturdy but it is both strong and light. The bristles are good and stiff too.
Sturdy British Broom
Great service, great quality and definite value for money.
Purchase from this company for all your gardening equipment because the quality is evident.
This is the second item I have bought from them and I have not been disappointed.
I would recommend them to anyone.
Thank you Dustpan & Brush. Good work!!
Great value for money
Bought this to replace an old brush after breaking the handle after a few years use. Love the fact that the handle unscrews so I can store in a smaller space in my shed. Looks and feels very strong, so sweeping up in the garden will be a lot less effort. Need a new soft (indoor) brush as well, so given the quality of this one I wont have far to look for its replacement.
Quality U.K. Produc
A good size light weight sturdy broom, that looks good has a pole to head bracket which is likely to enhance the durability of the broom. I like it.
It has a long handle and wide brush.
It’s an item I use all year round in Ireland.
Big brush
Handy bit of kit great for the back yard and easy to store.
Good broom that can be stored in small place.
My wife bought this for me as I keep breaking the wood ones. I had a concern because it was collapsible. The joints are sturdy and it is solid when assembled so it is a bonus if you have limited space. It has survived the abuse I’ve given so far.
Not Bad
It’s been a few weeks now and this actually is holding up, I didn’t think it would do I thought it would snap to be honest. It’s ok, just don’t try to sweep too much with it.
Good wuality
Really sturdy broom for sweeping my courtyard. Looks like there’s an attachment to connect a hose, but haven’t used that. I’d buy agai
It's really sturdy
Iam very short so the fact that I could it with putting all the wand together was grea
a good broom
This is a good heavy duty broom with a metal screw together handle a good stiff bristles
Good quality pretty strong and comfortable
My previous one (different brand) got broken while sweeping the garden by the main stick …This one looks way stronger. I can recommend i
A MUST BUY BRUSH
FANTASTIC STURDY BRUSH WHEN DELIVERED BIT WERE MISSING SO GOT BK IN TOUCH AND GOT A FULL REPLACEMENT. VERY EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
strong and durable
pleased easy to screw together just what we wanted for a yard broom
Great trusting company
Handle was broken on delivery but company redelivered a new broom without me returning the broken one which was lovely as being a time poor person i was very grateful this pointless task was removed from the dynamic. Lovely broom does what was needed.
Absolutely brillia
Absolutely brilliant. I really had my doubts about how sturdy this would be for sweeping outside as it’s screw together but it’s really great. The handle is thick and strong and the brush is very effective. This is now my allotment brush, the way it detaches from the handle is really useful as I could then use it to clean my greenhouse frame.
Quick and efficie
Easy to put together. Has wide enough brush head to save some time and bristles are strong enough for garden clean up .
Sweeps well but head keeps loosening
A very nice brush which sweeps well. The only thing that lets it down is that the head keeps loosening as you sweep. Other than that it seems pretty sturdy and well made. I also like that it can be disassembled easily for storage.
Strong brush
Easy to put together. Nice long handle for us taller people. Appears to be very strong and hopefully durable. Good quality brush for price paid.
Long lasting
I’ve had it 15 years. Never put a foot wrong…. only had 7 new handles, and 9 new brush heads. Still like new.
Great quality
Perfect, well made and designed. Nice firm bristles perfect for the driveway.
SCREW PARTS
You have to screw the bits of the handle together. the bit you screw to the brush head does come unscrewed after just a little time so you have to continually tighten i
Great brush
Comes in 3 parts fits together easy and very strong and sturdy
It works well
Its great but the pole keeps loosening where it joins just needs quick tighte
A SWEEPING STATEMENT !!!!
THIS IS ONE SOLID BRUSH. THE BRISTLES ARE 3inches ( 7.62cms ) LONG. THE BRISTLE DEPTH IS 3.5inches ( 8.89cms ) & IS 19inches ( 48.26cms ) WIDE. WITH ALL THREE SECTIONS OF THE STURDY STAINLESS STEEL HANDLE IN PLACE, IT IS 55inches ( 139.7cms ) FROM FLOOR TO HANDLE TOP. THE HANDLE TOP HAS A HOLE FOR HANGING. IF THAT IS A LITTLE LONG FOR WHAT YOU WANT, YOU CAN LEAVE OUT THE MIDDLE SECTION WHICH BRINGS THE BROOM DOWN TO 37.5inches ( 95.25cms ) FROM THE BRISTLES TO THE TOP OF THE BROOM. I HAVE DOCKED IT ONE STAR AS I CANNOT BE SURE OF ITS LONGEVITY. SURE IT IS VERY STURDY, ONE OF THE STURDIEST I HAVE EVER USED, BUT I HAVE USED IT A FEW TIMES ON CARPET ONLY & ALREADY THE BRISTLES SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR.
Bit heavy
First impression is that it’s a good quality sturdy brush and should last a good while. In use, the head is on the heavy side, and can be more tiring than necessary. The bristles are nice and hard, perfect for use on outdoor hard surfaces. The metal handle comes in 3 sections and is great to be able to quickly remove it for space saving in the shed. However, the sections can become loose if not screwed on quite tightly. I had to tighten it several times during the cause of an hour in the garden. All in all, a good quality product, with minor flaws.
Lightweight and sturdy
Arrives in 4 pieces that just need screwing together. The handle can screw onto the brush head at 2 different angles but I’m not sure what difference it makes. The brush itself works well and is very lightweight but feels solid and durable. On the day it arrived one of our dogs was sick on the garden path and after throwing a couple of buckets of water over it I used the brush to sweep the path clean and it did a very good job, ditto when I used it to sweep up the mess left behind after a delivery of logs. My only reservation is that as the handle is metal it might not be great to use on a cold, wet, day. That aside though this does as good a job as the traditional wooden ones and weighs quite a bit less so is perhaps easier to use.
Quality above & beyond
Ordered this item and received it quite quickly, on opening the package we were amazed at the apparent quality.
We assembled it (very easy ) and realized it had also been well designed with a slightly longer stainless steel shaft and reinforced head support along with slightly softer bristle on the outer edge it keeps particles together.
We were so impressed we ordered a second immediately, good things often disappear quickly.
Works well at the stables and seems well made.
Heavy Duty Garden Broom Outdoor 18″ Stiff Hard Brush & Metal Handle for Sweeping Your Yard, Garden & Decking
In the box.
You ge the brush head and three interlocking handle components. The first flat pack brush I have ever seen.
Quality.
The components seem fine and well made. The bristles are yellow and quite stiff but not the stiffest I have ever encountered.
Set up and using.
The brush is easy to assemble and you can vary the length of the handle depending on your needs. On the longest set up I can de cobweb our stables skylights which was the first job this brush weas out top. Sweeping the yard, it was Ok but the bristles needed to be a bit stiffer in my opinion. However, the brush worked well and no bristles fell out despite a good hour of sweeping so it is quite strong and should last well.
Overall.
It is fine for general sweeping tasks and easy to store as it breaks down. I did find the handle a bit flexible but the brush worked ok and did the job. It is expensive for a yard broom but it does offer some flexibility over wooded handles ones. It is long reach and I have found it very useful.
Great brush head, not sure about the handle
A great brush head, which at 18″ is of sufficient width, without being too wide and therefore ideal for sweeping the patio or garden pathways. This item is priced at 14.99 as at 10th February 2021 and I think that it is a good item to purchase, so why only 4 stars?
The brush head is durable and I believe that it should last. What I didn’t like about this item was the three piece stainless steel handle. Whilst it does allow for the brush to be disassembled for storage in a compact space, I can see no point in it in the UK market – it is a brush for use outside! Combine this with the fact that whilst it is stainless steel and therefore quite durable, the handle itself comes apart unless tightened up really tight and is extremely cold to handle on a cold day: -2c today when I reviewed it. Yes you can wear gloves, which I tried, but due to the handle being made of polished steel it was difficult to hold tightly. A single composite or even wooden handle would be far better than this three piece stainless steel option.
Overall as a brush it is really good, it does the job and is easier to handle than the 24″ brush we already have. Shame about the handle.
A VERY WELL MADE AND HANDY OUTDOOR BROOM
This outdoor broom is very well made and is easy to assemble. The very large brush head takes a while to adjust to, but it works extremely well and covers a large area.
New broom sweeps very clean!
Synthetic bristle attached to a plastic base makes for a substantial 18″yard broom. The handle is a three piece stainless jobbie that easily screws tight together to form a strong and stable stave. The materials make for a lightweight but very strong brush suitable for most sweeping jobs. It arrived this morning and I can honestly say it works on light snow! Should you want to store it, it comes with clips that will fit on the head and then in its turn, clip on the detached handle making a more compact storage parcel, I’m not not I will bother since it’s quicker to stand it against a wall instead of the constant connecting and disconnecting required otherwise. It sweeps well, is not expensive and should last an age, no problem whatsoever giving it a full five stars.

Very appealing price for a lovely shiny broom
This brush was well packaged and put together under 5 seconds. Interlocking so no movement. Actually the broom itself can be reversed as well by switching to the other side. Not that I would want to, but someone may want to. Very wide broom, quite tall.
Quite a nice broom, a nice weight to it, and good bristles. It’s stated that the broom is for outside use. I have a heavy weight broom for out side, so I am using this broom to scrub tiles on the en suite floor. It’s amazing as a large scrubbing brush. So basically from my point of view has many uses.
18″ stiff hard broom with metal handle. Designed to be durable the stainless steel handle comes in three parts, screw easily together for one long handle.
The broom can be used wet or dry, sweeping the garden, driveway, patio etc.
Presently the cost stands at 11.99.
The brushes are synthetic, so loose bits fall off. The bristles do not rot or get mouldy like a wooden broom. Weighs just 1.39 kg….
A nice colour and I certainly recommend, as nicer than the ones I’ve seen in local supermarkets.
Really happy and recommend 100% for sure ,will last me ages.
Thanks to the seller
** I hope my review helped, kind regards**
A brilliant brush at a great price.
Excellent quality brush, very strong and goes together very easy. Quality chrome bars screw together with great quality threads really tight and sturdy. The brush has plastic things you clip on the brush head so you can clip it to the bar and hang it up to save space in the cupboard or wherever you want to hang it. I brushed the yard and it did a brilliant job so I highly recommend buying it and at 11.99 you cannot go wrong.
