J’ai fait venir les bouchons d’entretoises noires mais elles ne sont pas compatibles pour ma machine Idoo. Elles sont trop grandes et n’entrent pas dans les trous. Elles mesurent 4,2X4,2X 1,4 dans la description . J’ai achet ca pour rien. J’en cherche qui soient compatibles avec cet appareil. Pouvez vous m’aider?

It is very compact and fits on my counter with ease.
The container itself is sturdy and doesnt leak and the lights/fan work well.
The only dislike is I am unable to set the length of time the light stays on.

Seriously! In the course of a single day, our little seeds went from one tiny leaf up and another curled, to standing straight up tall and reaching far past the cup. So far the plant food has lasted us very well for a couple months, so we’re estimating it’ll last about 6 months. This came with cute signs and some seed starter cups too! It adjustable light height feature is nice, but it would be nice if it could be taller considering how quickly the cilantro grew to run into it already. We originally had this away from the window and indoors only and it was still growing quickly. We only moved it to this table when it grew tall and it’s still doing well. The patio out the window is shaded and so the plants only get direct morning light since the window faces slightly southeast. The growing light works on/off its own.

Question: Am I able to cut open the sponges that my tomato’s are growing in safely so that I can plant them outside?

So far I have grown lettuce, basil and rosemary. All have now grown above the lights. It's very quiet and don't hear fan or water pump, however, the lights are very bright and light up a small room. Once the plants get med to large in size it takes about 2L of water with the vitamins a day. I have well water so have to buy distilled water.

Super awesome!! 😍 I love it! Mostly using it to start the plants then transfer them to pots. Even though I have heard some plants do better if they are in here full term. Wonderful purchase regardless!

First time using a hydroponics system. Planted some herbs as instructed. 9/12 of them started sprouting within the first two weeks. My chives haven’t seemed to yet but it might be too cold in my house. Really good deal I think. Over time it’ll pay for itself from all the fresh herbs I won’t be having to buy from the grocery store.

I was skeptical at first, but I planted 12 seeds, went away for two weeks, and came home to 12 seedlings.
It used about a litre of water in those two weeks.
As a professional gardener, I’d recommend it!
No complaints as of yet. I’m loving the growth after only about 7 days. Looking forward to transplanting the corn to pots then to its final destination in the garden.

This is so much fun & healthy. Pick any herb or fruit you want, preferably organic, and start growing. Some show growth in less than 2 weeks. Prune lettuce right to a salad or sandwich, and herbs to whatever you are cooking. Love it!

I planted a variety of seeds from the fruits themselves and the pumpkin and Tomatoes are growing the fastest got in Jan planted them seeds and it’s now Feb 18th the tomatoes now are 3”tall and really stretching out Grandson is very happy so am I thank you so much

I purchased an iDOO hydroponic system 2 1/2 months ago. Setup was super easy. I planted the seeds, including lettuce, spinach, kale, parsley and onion greens. They germinated in about a week and 2-3 weeks later I was able to harvest some produce. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it grew. Maintenance is super easy. Make sure the roots don’t get into the pump. Top up the water/nutrient solution when it gets low. I only change the water/nutrient solution every 3 weeks. It probably could go longer. The unit isn’t big enough to grow 12 plants at one time. I would suggest growing 6 and then a couple weeks later start the other pods, but only have 6 mature plants at a time. Since I’ve only had the unit for 2 1/2 months I can’t say how long it will last. But so far, so good.
All seeds planted are sprouting; the end results to be determined. The set up was easy to follow, water supply lasts a long time; the included accessories are good to have; the automatic light feature turning on after 10 hours off is a bonus and the pump is very quiet. So far, no complaints.

Easy to assemble, pretty clear directions. 1 week in and plants are 11/2” high. Everything works s as advertised so far. Too early too speak on reliability, 1st experience with this type of product, May rate higher with time

Update: So far, I’ve had to remove nearly all of the original plants from the iDOO and replant them into actual pots. The roots ended up a tangled mess from cherry tomato plants and everything else inside of the machine. It took a while to untangle them all carefully. The tomato plants were a bit top heavy after a few weeks and kept falling over in the iDOO. They also got too tall and the lights were burning the leaves. Since the lights won’t go up very high, this is not an ideal machine for any sort of tomato plant or plant that is not some sort of dwarf or miniature variant. It’s very good for starting plants, but you’ll end up going through lots of the little plastic baskets since you can’t get the roots off of them without damaging the plants for replanting very easily. It’s best to replant them before the roots get too long and just plant the whole sponge in the dirt. I think if you let your plants go for too long in this, the roots would eventually bind up in the system. Due to this, it seems only good for short term planting and harvesting/re-planting.
Original Review: I planted all sorts of veggies in this thing as soon as it arrived and they are already growing so fast! I cannot wait to see the results 🙂 I planted seeds from the same batches in small pots at the same time I planted in this indoor garden to see which ones would grow better. The dirt method is definitely much slower. You can see from the photos. I did add another set of grow lights since my apartment doesn’t get much natural sun light.

Siempre me han gustado las plantas pero en mi casa no hay luz suficiente para casi ninguna, adems de que el aire est contaminado y a las plantas les cuesta sobrevivir. Gracias a este huerto hidropnico por fin he logrado tener mi primera cosecha, nicamente he tenido que estar vigilando el agua, que se gasta cada dos semanas ms o menos 1 litro.
No es para nada ruidosa, la luz s que puede molestar un poco, pero yo lo he rodeado de papel de aluminio y funciona perfectamente.
100% recomendado.
I have this and absolutely love it. I gave 2 as Christmas gifts. One was perfect the other had the pods but not seeded, just empty pods no stickers on top.
I asked how it was going, expecting to hear “great we have plants already”. Instead I got, “we need to buy some seeds”

Eine super Idee fr Leute die keinen grnen Daumen haben. Da ich auch zu diesen Leuten gehre, bei denen der Basilikum auf der Fensterbank nichts wird, habe ich mir diese Hydroponic Anzucht gekauft. Eine super Qualitt, es funktioniert alles einwandfrei! Das Gert schaltet sich automatisch aus und wieder an. Es macht alles von selber (nur Pflanzen, Wasser nachfllen und ernten muss man selber).
Hubby wanted one so this is what I went with. Foam pods for seeds are cost efficient. Too soon to say how it grows but I’ll try to update later. It looks nice and set up was pretty easy/fun. Seems to be high enough to maintain decent growth if you’re constantly clipping for fresh cooking in the kitchen. Yay!

Au bout de seulement 2 jours mes graines avaient dj germ . Sur les photos a fait 1 mois et j’ai dj fait un bol de salade l dessus . C’est vraiment merveilleux . J’adore ce systme IDOO. Il faut savoir que si vous avez un puit vous devez prendre de l’eau distille . Je recommande fortement ce produit. J’avais un Click and Grow avant et ce n’est pas comparable. Celui ci a un filtrer qui fait bouger l’eau. L’avantage aussi est qu’on peut acheter un kit de graine de diverse sorte de lgume et simplement les mettres dans les pods . Quand ma salade va tre fini je vais essayer de laiss un pods de libre entre chaque salade Cesar car elle devient vraiment grosse .
Vous ne serez vraiment pas du de votre achat. Je l’ai achet en spcial au Black Friday, peut-tre qu’il sera encore en spcial au Boxing Day pour les intresss .

Super easy set up and instructions. After the first couple of days the motor runs so smooth that can not hear a thing. Love the settings for veggies or flowers. Worth the money. Would purchase again.

Arrived quickly. A the timer light did not function properly and customer service was amazing trouble shooting with me. After a few days and attempts it was decided a new piece be shipped out. Waiting for the piece but assume it will work great. Already have a few shoots springing up which is exciting seeing as I've only had it about 2 weeks I think.

Great product! Easy to set up. Lightning fast germination times. Hardly any maintenance. I grow lettuce. In three weeks, I had enough for a salad. I’m nearing the two month mark and my wife and I have eaten six salads already! I’ll be keeping an eye on sales because I’ll definitely buy another one to do micro tomato plants.

I would like to say I’m very impressed with your company and service. When I gave the review about the pump stopped working the first week but didn’t want to disturb the already started plants I certainly didn’t expect another replacement the next day! Wow! You don’t see this impressive service and companies standing behind their products like that anymore! Wow! Thank you! Jardin d'intérieur parfait pour plantation en toute saiso
J’ai reu cette petite serre d’intrieur pour mon anniversaire et j’en suis plutt satisfaite pour le moment (2 mois)
La mise en place est plutt facile
Le manuel explique trs bien comment tout fonctionne avec des images
Il y a une alimentation secteur (qui doit tre branche 24h sur 24)
Et un cble qui va de la pompe jusqu’en haut de la serre
Les ponges de culture sont fournies, ainsi que les supports d’ponges, les capuchons a mettre dessus et les petits panneaux pour savoir ce qu’on plante
Il y a aussi deux nutriments avec, diluer avec de l’eau au moment du remplissage du bac, bien utiles pour que les plants se dveloppent vite
Par contre il n’y a aucune graine vendues avec, il faudra les acheter en mme temps que la serre
Deux modes possibles :
– fruits & fleurs
– lgumes
La serre s’allume et s’teint seule la fin de ses cycles, une fois le cycle lance il n’y a plus rien faire, part renouveller l’eau tous les 14 jours environ
Pour l’instant, j’ai eu quelques beaux plants : basilic, melon, pastque que j’ai pu replanter
La croissance dpend de la saison, du temps, des types de graines.. certaines poussent au bout d’un ou deux jours quand d’autres mettent 2 semaines commencer
Le niveau sonore est pour moi pas du tout drangeant quand le niveau d’eau est sur 4 L minimum (plus le niveau d’eau baisse, plus la pompe sera bruyante)
Je recommande donc ce produit qui est facile d’utilisation, d’entretien et qui fait trs bien ce qu’on attend de lui
As my first hydroponic purchase I was a bit worried but the Idoo system is beginner friendly and after having it for 7 days my tomatoes are already growing and looking healthy. My peppers seem to be taking a bit longer and only 1 of the seeds placed have germinated but that could just be user error. I will provide photos and an updated review as things progress but I am hopeful. It was easy to set up but confusion around having to refill the water and nutrients as the water level hasn’t dropped since filling it once. I am assuming it’s just that the seedlings just don’t consume that much water yet and I plan on changing the water out every 7-10 days or so just to be safe. I will provide an update on Oct 30th with photos.

I have been using it for 4 weeks and I love the iDOO Hydroponics Growing System. It was so easy to set up. I soaked the brown sponges before I put the seeds in them. Most of my seeds germinated-Basel,cilantro, mesclun mix, Bibb lettuce,grape tomato,rosemary. But some did not-spinach,chives. I replaced those with more lettuce. Old seeds did not work for me. When I bought new seeds I choose varieties that stay smaller. After 4 weeks I have picked a lot of lettuce leaves. I leave the base plant and just take the largest leaves. Trimmed basil 3 times and I need to trim the cilantro. Even though I chose a mini grape tomato, it got too tall compared to the lettuce so I re-hydro potted it in a large glass container covered with black plastic. I like the adjustable height light,cooling fan and accessories. The fertilizer seem to work really well . There is no sound or smell from the machine. I have not had to change the water just add more with a little fertilizer added.I would buy the iDOO brand again. I have had zero issues with it.
This is the coolest thing in the planting world I have ever seen. My wife’s friend convinced us to get this plant grower since I love to cook and use herbs all the time. It’s very easy to assemble and manage. We are growing 12 different herbs. One for each space provided and within 3 days we started seeing sprouts. The lights and fan are so cool. They are on a timer and come on automatically. When they come on at night, I feel like I am on a runway and a bowing 747 should be landing any minute. LOL It’s been 3 weeks now and some herbs are going crazy, and some are just now sprouting and coming alive. The only thing I have a question about and need to look up is how often I need to add the plant food in the water. This would make an amazing Christmas gift for plant lovers. Especially since the price is reasonable.
Seit einem Jahr luft meine Anzuchtstation problemlos. Ich reinige nur sporadisch den Filter und finde allgemein den Aufwand als sehr gering. Ich habe viel frische Kruter direkt aus dem Gert aber auch immer neue Setzlinge zum Eintopfen (im Winter klappt es jedoch nicht, es scheint wohl eine zu grosse Umstellung!). Ich setze sie samt den Schwmmchen in die Erde und achte darauf, dass sie anfangs sehr nass haben, bis die Wurzeln die Umstellung auf Erde geschafft haben. Der mitgelieferte Dnger macht, dass die Kruter eigenartig schmecken. Seit ich Cellmax Hydrodnger habe, ist der Geschmack aber gut. Irgendwelchen Biodnger habe ich auch versucht, riecht aber bel und macht leider faulige Wurzeln.
Beachten sollte man, wie in der Anleitung auch vermerkt, dass man ber die max. 4 Liter drber auf etwa 4.5 Liter auffllen sollte, wenn man ganz frisch Samen zieht, da sonst bald die Schwmmchen trocken liegen, sobald der Wasserspiegel etwas absinkt. Aber das passiert einem genau einmal! Ich fand anfangs den Preis auch etwas hoch, mitlerweile finde ich es jeden Euro wert, da ich tglich Freude an der Sache habe. Immer wchst oder spriesst etwas.
It’s been a few weeks since planting seeds, and I have abundant lettuce, dill, basil, coriander and Asian tatsoi, that I’m already eating. And slowing-growing behind (due to slower germination – not the machine) it is the mint and strawberries. For the first time I haven’t needed to buy supermarket lettuce. And my 6 year old who normally isn’t keen on salad, is actually eating lettuce and basil leaves directly broken off from the plant.
I highly recommend the machine, and bought a second machine – I like it so much.
The second machine is proving helpful for spacing lettuce further apart and having different stages of growth – mature lettuce in one machine and planting the new in the second machine.
No insecticides, no insects, and suitable even for high rise apartment.
Also I note that in some reviews people believed the fan wasn’t working – when in actual fact it switches on and off on a timer, and I believe in some cases it may be that the fan was on a normal “off” within the cycle and they falsely believed it not working (when it was doing exactly as it was supposed to).
So far I like everything about the iDOO hydroponics machines. One of my friends has bought one also, having seen the progress of mine every week.

First time using a hydroponic system and it was worth it. All my seeds germinated insanely fast and I don’t have any problems at all. Within a month, my lettuce and pak choi grew an insane amount – probably bigger than the space allows. I don’t need to buy any replacements yet but according to my research it’s quite expensive (if you buy it from the seller directly). But you can just look for substitutes and it should work just as well. The pictures were taken on July 25th and August 11th. I started on the 13th July.
I had no problem with the assembly and so far everything is working even after I cleaned the entire system once. I used destilled and normal tap water, both seem to work fine.
I’m quite happy with my purchase and encourage anyone who wants to have an easy indoor herb garden to give it a try.
