It’s great. Our collie pup is big on rights (hers) and can be quite snappy at any infringement of her liberty, but puts up with this, can’t remove it (unlike the last one, a more standard cone) and can’t reach her stitches.

Easy to inflate (especially with a pump) easy to put in concert and use. Dog has been so comfy been sleeping and relaxed and able to eat and drink with it on with no problem. Had straps for collar for ease but if really needed can be used without it. Dog even started cool under collar in really hot heat.

Poor Willow gets injured a lot, she is a very naughty dog!
And like all dogs she doesn’t like bandages or ointment so can be a real pain – now she just looks cute and has something comfy to rest her chin on wherever she goes!
Really easy to put on, comfy looking, much better than a plastic cone!

So much nicer than a Cone-of-Shame!

Large size is perfect for my big German Shepherd. I was worried it wouldn’t be big enough for his massive head and neck, but it’s great.
He wasn’t keen at first, but treats and reassurance for the first five minutes and now he’s acting like he’s not even wearing the donut. Keeps his sore paw out of his mouth so it can heal without him constantly trying to lick it. Much better than a plastic cone of shame. Looks cute too

Need a little bit of puff to blow up. But once done OK. Found that for our small dog, not to over inflate. It’s then a bit softer. A bit of trial and error to get it just right for your dog. Once done it’s does not go down. Did not bother him to much. Better than plastic collar. Size guide OK.

my jett (black lab) wears a size M! he is having trouble at the moment with a hot-spot & i was fed up with him running the giant cone of shame into my legs & watching him thrash about trying to look around, so i decided to see about an inflatable alternative. of course i had to get the funkiest one on the market! it arrived this morning and he is finding it a lot more comfortable & is even it to nap on like an airplane neck pillow. he’s the talk of our street “donut dog”! i am very happy with my purchase & can use it for my other dog if he ever needs it also.

    hilarious & a great help!

Purchased as my giant Lab cross Rotty has split her dew claw causing an infection. Ouch! Indeed. She hated her cone of shame so big so clumsy, I saw this advertised, it was not the cheapest on Amazon but I’m so pleased I opted for this one, she not only looks adorable but can no longer reach her paws to constantly lick. The inner inflatable is strong and the outer cover is soft and absorbing (she dribbles when she sees food) it came with full instructions and a patch just case my darling popped the tube. Please note: All instructions should be read as I immediately thought I knew how to operate but I was wrong and could of chocked my pet through my ignorance.
Inflate the tube. Then extend the clip on the donut. Wrap donut around neck of dog gap facing towards top of neck. If the gap is to large alter strap to accommodate or deflate some air from the donut.

She has stopped biting her paws!

This is honestly a life saver for dogs who panic with the plastic cones. When we arrived to pick our dog up after being spayed, she was extremely frightened and panicked with the plastic cone, I asked the vet to remove it and we put this on instead, and instantly she calmed down! She can sleep with it on, she uses it as a pillow. She can’t get to her stitches. It’s a really good idea. Can’t fault it. We ordered a large and it’s a perfect fit.

    Amazing!

Great product. Easy to inflate and my dog surprisingly loves it. I took the advice from a previous review in re to the size – I have a medium springer spaniel so I bought large and thankful I did as it stopped his accessing his wound. My dog actually loves this, when I put it back on him after a break he lets me put it on easily – he usually hates anything on him but his normal collar but this was like a travel pillow for him so he didn’t mind and rested a lot which is what he needed after surgery. A great product.

As a product its great. However too small for a hungarian vizsla, she can still reach her tail with this on. It might be a good one if the injury is somewhere else so not going to send it back…

Now I’ve come round after nearly passing out from blowing this up, I can now write a review!

The outer material around the actual inflatable didn’t fit as well as I’d hoped – and certainly not as well as another I bought from the same company a year ago. However, it works well and our timid dog got used to sleeping with it very quickly, which is the main thing. Much better than the cone – for her anyway.

But it works like a charm! And sometimes it’s just needed when the dog has absolutely no control power and start nibbling on her own wounds! Plus it makes her look adorable as well as ridiculous so it makes us laugh especially because we can tell our dog is HATING us when she wears it!

Our lab had to have a cone after a vet appt and he HATED it and refused to eat or drink and could never get comfortable. Bought this ASAP and it’s fantastic. It takes some force to blow up but worth it. Our lab barely notices it but does the job to prevent locking. He can easily eat and drink and sleep comfortably and is much happier. Measured his collar to get the right size so easy to do

    Fantastic and absolutely worth i

Loved this product! My little dog can eat, sleep and see him round comfortably. He wont keep a cone on and this is the udeal solution. Fits well and looks so cute!

This is far more comfortable than the usual cone. It’s soft and easy to inflate, clipping onto the pets own collar for added security. Glad I bought this for my dog to wear in conjunction with a post surgery onesie. Far less stressful for everyone during recovery!

In her 10 years of life she has never been more stressed than when the vet put a cone on her head after stitches were removed from rear paw. Removed it and used a sock on the paw not ideal. I popped this around her head and within 10mins she is asleep. Awesome

    Asleep after 10mins

Very comfortable for my dog, dog could eat and drink with it rather than the horrible plastic cone but still couldn’t lick her stitches. Very pleased and would recommend

Absolutely fantastic, our puppy got Spayed and couldn’t sleep with the normal cloth cone.

Inflated this, put it on and she immediately nodded off!

Super easy to inflate, really comfy and even easy to remove the outer layer to clean.

I can’t believe this is the price, I would easy pay double.

    Fantastic inventio

    Comfortable!

My dog hated the cones but this is completely different; he can drink, eat and even sleep with it on, and best of all he can’t bite himself.

My dog needed to wear this for 2 weeks. It was perfect. Big enough to stop her from reaching her wound, and soft enough for comfort. Plus the design looks cool! I would recommend.

This was great, and worth the extra money

I bought this to stop my dog getting to her injury sight, brilliant much better than a cone we used before, once she realised she couldn’t get it off she’s been fine, actually she looks really comfortable with it on.
