Delivered in a strong box. Easy to assemble. Very good reading light with clear distribution of light.
This lamp was ordered as a replacement for a previous one I had for about 6 years. It arrived promptly.
The previous lamp had deteriorated and the weighted base crumbled after years of being moved by sliding across the floor. The bulb is effective but awkward to change. Otherwise this would be a five star review.
Some reviews mention that the lamp is difficult to assemble. It is fiddly, but the instructions are very clear and I managed it in about ten minutes despite being inherently clums.y
Love this lamp it makes reading much easier. It was fairly easy to assemble although I did need help when joining the parts together as it is a sturdy lamp and I needed help holding the lamp when fixing the parts together.
Very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged and the light given off is fabulous for me as a card maker.
I use it for reading and works very well for this. The difference in light temperature takes some getting used to.
Arrived on time has promised, was surprised at the weight of the box it came in, quite easy to assemble, once made up you realize where the weight came from, it is well constructed a good solid base making it very steady on thick carpeted floors, the adjustable top part is easy to bend to your desired angle, it has an excellent beam of light concentrating on your work piece, it is quite easy to move about. It is a must for anyone who uses a sewing machine cast no shadows, the light is intense ideal for a good reading session, my wife loves it. Both my wife and I recommend this devise. Plus a good price

Bought this lamp to allow me to do my craftwork. It is perfect. I have Macular Degeneration and it is ideal. Would recommend it to anyone who has this problem

While looking for a good floor light for my living room and receiving one from another company with a missing component rendering it useless, I took a chance on this light, a little more expensive but worth the extra money.

The Kenley is just what I have been looking for it has a sturdy base, long cable, sturdy upright poles and a very good 4 x tube light which gives a perfect white light — easy on the eyes, much better for me than the recently expired light that was with me for years from another company which had varying light settings.
it was not easy for me to put the tubes together, ( hence the 4 stars.) in my eagerness to fix this light in position and trying not to damage the head of the light which had been delivered with the bulb in situ, I cross threaded the uprights.
Useful tip ( RICO CORK GREASE ) found on Amazon to grease the cork on the mouthpiece of my recorder also eased out the cross threading on the uprights of this light.
The light also has a click on/off switch on the end of the flexible head underneath the bulb.
No glass cover over the bulb, manufacturers obviously think this is not needed as the bulb is cool when the light is on.
Very pleased with this light, it will last for years.
Easy to assemble, sturdy despite the deceptively small base.

The light is white and bright. I love that the switch is on the lamp and not on the floor.

The only problem I had with the assembly of this lamp was with the screw threads to join the pieces. They were notof a good standard.

It’s not just as good as I had hoped it would be. I’m not unhappy with it, but feel it could be better. I don’t think it’s tall enough and the light just isn’t right somehow.

Nice looking lamp. Little bit of a struggle to put together ,I needed another person to hold the stand up while I got the wires into the pole and had to fold the wires up a bit.However it is a very nice lamp and a real help when reading or doing crafts.
Bought this light for an aged person who likes to read a lot along with other ‘visual ‘ pastimes. The light helps make these activities easier and less tiring. e.g. – doesn’t have to ‘angle’ a page towards a window for proper daylight-like light quality. Minimal and easy assembly. Stable and adjustable (it’s about the right height for armchair use). Routinely in use for much of the day.
This was just what I needed next to my computer, gives a good light.
This lamp was bought for my mum who has cataracts. She enjoys crafting (sewing, knitting etc.) and doing jigsaws, reading… She was struggling to enjoy these activities over recent months as she couldn’t see well enough but isn’t ready to have her cataracts removed. The lamp has been amazing. She loves it! It has enabled her to resume all the activities she loved. It looks good quality and is adjustable to direct light where she feels she needs it. We looked at lots of lights and I would say stop the search now! Buy this one!
We had one already and found it to be very good for reading in our later years. Hence we bought this second one, so we don’t have to share. Quite expensive but well made.

My husband and I are locked down. My husband likes reading and doing jigsaws. His eyesight is not the best and this lamp has really helped him to pursue his interests while he cannot leave the house. He managed to put it together quickly with the clear instructions.

Not as smart looking as some floorlamps, but I bought it for it’s practicality as a craft lamp.

This product is simplicity itself to fit together. It throws an excellent, natural daylight which has enabled me to rediscover the joys of reading. It also has a stylish look which fits harmoniously into my crofters cottage as I’m sure it would into a contemporary warehouse flat.

A little problematic to assemble and does rock about a bit. However, it does the trick – great to be able to angle it and it is bright which I what I need.
Bought this to replace an almost identical one for my mother. She is happy with it. There is some very simple self assembly to put it together. No issues to report.

This has saved me! I bought it to do close handiwork in a room which only has morning sunlight. However, pretty soon after the purchase, my kitchen light malfunctioned ( and I made it worse by managing to displace the starter mounting!). Solution? Shine a daylight lamp into the kitchen so it’s not in unworkable shadow.
Watch out for a rubber grummet which serves no purpose but for delivery – don’t spent 15 minutes wondering why the item doesn’t assemble properly.
Apart from that all is good.
Well worth the money.
