First impressions out of the box is this is a sturdy and well made lamp. The base is nicely weighted and stands firmly upright. The pieces go together easily and the net result is an attractive floor lamp. The neck is flexible to a degree so that the light can be directed where you want it to go. Best of all it provides a perfect bright daytime light so that my wife can see her sewing and handicrafts and I can watch TV without any glare in my direction!
This product was easy to assemble. I use this light for crafting and is great and helps me see when working with dark materials.
I bought this for my elderly mother who has eyesight problems and this light has helped her be able to see the print in her books for reading or puzzles. The service was fab.

My bonsai tree 25yrs old doesn’t get enough light during the winter months and drops its leaves in protest. So far using the lamp in the evenings has stopped the leaf dropping. I am very hopeful. In the summer I will use the lamp in my craft room so a winner all round. Really please
Great bright lamp that really does seem to provide almost natural light. Useless for doing jigsaws through the winter when it seems to be permanently dark !! Delivered before estimated delivery date, easy to assemble & operate.
I bought this for my elderly mother to enable her to continue reading and knitting. Her optician had suggested a daylight lamp. She was very pleased with it. We stood it behind her armchair and she was able to easily switch it on or off as required. She had several years use from it and following her death it is now proving useful in my own house for reading and close work. Highly recommended.

Purchased for someone who is severely partially sighted. This lamp is a great help, partial sight in one eye only, it has enabled her to see television remote buttons, some help with telephone (big) buttons. Agree with other reviews, the rubber bung thingy is truly a “non spare part” doesn’t fit any which way, whatever it’s for. Lamp very sturdy. Recommend to buy.
Very good. Quite chunky so not a statement item but bought it for crafting so fits the bill perfectly. Light really good can now do some things without glasses. Compared to others I have see very good value for money

Excellent perfect for helping my blind mother to see….. so she tells me, she is bespatter to hold on to the tiny bit of her reading large print books with a magnified glass . This is helping her do that a page a day !
I have been searching a long time for a light that suited my needs.Although not very ‘pretty’ it does exactly what I required. Assembly was slightly difficult but it just needed a little patience and care and it was fine. Very pleased.
Would like the lamp to be a few inches higher as can be quite warm on one’s head.
Bought to replace another one of these which eventually fell to bits through over use. My wife uses it everyday to assist her crafting and says it is ideal, so recommended.
He’s in his 80’s and has very poor vision but still loves to do Crosswords, these lights are a Godsend for him giving plenty of bright, but ‘Natural’ type of light that really helps him to see the print easier.

Easy to assemble. Bought for my wife who makes a lot of crafts. Gives off a fantastic light with almost daylight quality. It does lack styling and resembles a street light so may not be ideal in a living room but ours is in a craft room. Its quite sturdy so hopefully it should last quite a while

Delighted with this light. Quick delivery and the perfect light for a dim spot. It’s a good height, just above armchair height and has a flexible head to focus the light beams, wider or narrower. I wish we had bought one some years ago instead of using a side lamp.

I bought this as a more appropriate lamp to sit near me when I’m working on the computer at night. The light it throws out is enough to only require another small desktop daylight lamp in the room. The illumination is soft and ‘peaceful’ – not too bright or harsh. I really like it. Overall, Not the best manufacturing quality but still pretty good and definitely value for money

I needed a floor light with a daylight bulb for my sewing, crafts and reading. At my needlework class they have a large model which is very good, but a bit big for home use. This light is just right and gives me the white light I need. I am so impressed with it, I have ordered another one to use with my sewing machine.
Absolutely fab for close work. A bright, but not dazzling, light that makes close sewing or reading a pleasure. If you feel your eyesight is letting you down give one of these a try.
This lamp does exactly as it says and provides daylight whatever time of day. I live in a particularly dark flat and I am able to do my needlework without a problem. The moveable head is an asset too and it’s nice and sturdy on the ground.

Very happy with this lamp, easy to put together, lightweight and sturdy. I use it to help me see while sewing and can’t get over how mich lighter it makes the ara and as it dies not cast a shadow, I would deffinately recommend this lamb especially if need a good daylight area without putting a strain on ones eyes.
I found this excellent for my eyes and headaches, unfortunately I wanted it for my living room, and it looked lost, so I am using it in my bedroom, but I would not part with it, thankyou.

Assembly was easy and once plugged in it was obvious that this lamp would more than meet my expectations. I need a good light for a new favourite hobby, adult colouring, and this is perfect. The light given off is bright and in the daylight spectrum, but not in the least dazzling – and unlike a “daylight” LED lamp I tried a few weeks ago this one doesn’t cast any harsh shadows.
All in all, this lamp is well worth the price and highly recommended. Now I need to order a spare bulb ……

Apart from the fact that it looks rather like a lamp standard in your lounge, the light is great and I can see everything I need to see with it.
Bought for my Mum 86 shes really pleased with it. She can see her knitting patterns easier and her eyes are not so tired when using the lamp for reading.
It is quite heavy, non stylus floor lamp with the grey part unable to fold it far the half way, Anyway, I liked it because the light is pretty good for the eyes, I can do crafts or reading for hours with it. It keeps my eyes ok and gives me good luminosity
This is a good lamp, with plenty of light and easy to adjust. Not as easy to assemble though, as instructions are not as clear as they could be – it is essential to grease threads, as cross threading is easy. Good value for money so far.
Not the most elegant of lamps, but it does the job superbly. I do a lot of needlework using black yarn that is almost impossible to see clearly under modern energy-saving lighting. This has made all the difference.
This lamp is different any other light I have in my house and it is perfect for my own office particularly during these winter months. Highly recommended.
