The Borneo Storage Box
An ideal outdoor addition to any garden for those who like their storage solutions both elegant and practical. The Borneo storage box is built out of a low maintenance durable plastic to keep items such as patio accessories and chair cushions dry and ventilated as well as provide full weather resistance. It’s also designed with an elegant wood with wicker/rattan appearance that has a capacity of 416 L. The Borneo storage box also comfortably seats two adults, which adds an extra seating option when entering and has a lockable feature with, an automatic opening mechanism for ease.

Very good produc
I took some time when looking for an external storage box for my garden, there are many to choose from, I read lots of reviews and had some concern about issues with the assembly where holes do not line up making it difficult to assemble.
Well, I took a chance and glad I did, this arrived on time, it took me about 15 minutes to put this together. it slots together easily. I did this alone with no issues.
The capacity is useful for the storage I need, I would recommend this item.
Keter Borneo Outdoor Storage Box
Typical construction for this type of box, easy to put together and, in this case, quite strong. This was an upgrade to our previous outside box (used for storing bird food) which was badly damaged in the recent high winds (100mph).
One person could assemble it, but the occasional second person is a boon. The support struts for the lid work well. My old box lid would come crashing down if there was a slight breeze, these struts prevent that happening, so all-in-all it is a major upgrade.
Would I recommend the product, yes I would!
Great box
Great, sturdy box. Easy to assemble. Good size for me to store horse ‘stuff’. It doesn’t sit outside but is in a old, stone building with no door. Very pleased with it.

Went together OK but one of the top caps to the left hand side missing. Contacted Keter. “No problem” said the nice lady on the phone, “What product is it and what is the component code”.
“Borneo storage box, brown, side component R6” was the answer.
“No problem, we will send a replacement part”.
“I only need the top cap, front, looking at the left side panel”.
“We do not do those separately, it will be the whole side panel which will be sent”
It arrived today (17/11/21). Wrapped in 6m of bubble wrap – took ages to get into. Inside, complete side panel from which I removed the two end caps very easily – they just unclip. Now disposing of the bubble wrap and the rest of the panel. I hope the bin men take them, otherwise it will have be a trip up the tip!
Come on, Keter, in this age of waste reduction and energy efficiency surely supplying just the end caps is not beyond you. Think of the cost saving – they would have fitted into a small jiffy bag!
Excellent Garden storage
Great size holds 6 cushion pads and 6 large cushions with loads of space to spare for other bits and bobs it’s withstood a couple of huge downpours with no leakage at all. Strong enough for 2 adults to sit on and my dog likes sitting up on it too. As for assembling it well it took me 15mins on my own .. very very easy all that’s required is a screwdriver . I would say watch the price I had it in my wish list one day it was nearly 170 few days later it was 80

Looks really nice, sturdy and a good additional seat. Easy to assemble, one side had a slight warp but when lid on, it overlapped the gap.
Appears to be waterproof, only had one big downpour so far, so more testing to be done.
Was slightly smaller than we anticipated and couldn’t get all cushions in but that’s down to our poor measurement.

his item looks good and is very spacious , has not had bad weather for me to know if it is weather proof but it looks like it would be o.k , assembly is straight forward if you follow instructions.

Purchased one for my lawn mower.
Lost a star as a corner was missing but the seller sent me one very quickly that fitted properly.
It pour rain yesterday and I can report inside the box was dry so yes weatherproof.
Not quite as big as you think they may be
Dimensions are exterior so we struggled to get our 50 by 60cm garden furniture cushions in…ended up buying a second one.
Robust and showerproof but not as rigid as you might expect as they are click fit and easily go out of square so the lids don’t fully line up.

This box has been great so far, no major issues. It required a little shaving off the plastic ends to fix together neatly but nothing too time consuming. It hasn’t had any leaks so far even with heavy rain. My outdoor furniture cushions are clean and dry.

Got this for a very good price. Delivery was very slow as Amazon did not advise me this would take over a month to deliver, but it was worth the wait. Very easy to assemble, very sturdy and completely weatherproof which is important for the Irish weather! Bought this to store my small garden tools and bits.

KETER STORAGE Huge box.
Really easy to put together took me all of 10mins.
I do not do DIY if I can do it anyone can.
No screws required just used my hand to push into the slots.

Large Garden Storage Box
I am very happy with the size of this box. I’m using it for garden furniture cushions. My niece put it together for me in no time at all! We have had several rain storms since I bought it and cushions have kept perfectly dry inside the box.

Great size and fits so much garden stuff in. Does not leak despite the windy wet weather of the North Coast of Scotland. Sturdy. Needed two people to put together. Bit fiddly at first until I sussed it out and the very easy indeed.

Good second time round
First one that was delivered was out of tolerance so that sides and base did not fit together properly. There was approx 10mm creep over the length. Replacement fitted perfectly although it needed a bit of “persuading” to clip together properly
Great Sturdy Outdoor Storage Box
Been looking for a sturdy storage box for our garden furniture cushions & this box has been the answer. Very strong – even with an adult sitting on top of the box. Everything inside the box has stayed dry even after the storms we have just experienced.

Looks good and practical
My daughter came over to give my a hand to put it together. I could hardly pick it up with its weight and size. But I do have Arthritis. My grandson was able to carry it through the house with little trouble
Between my daughter and myself, plus the paperwork. We managed to put it together in about 45 minutes. Very sturdy indeed and lockable, but you will need to get the lock as an extra if you don’t have one. Takes all my garden furniture cushions with plenty of space to spare. Goes well with my furniture. Appears to be strong enough to sit on too. I haven’t given 5 stars for waterproof yet as it hasn’t been tested. Somehow I think it will past that test too and I will alter that the
Sturdy and waterproof
Perfect for storing our rattan furniture cushions. I spent ages looking for a storage box that was good value and large enough, this fits the bill. I like the auto opening and soft closing lid mechanism too!
A great quality storage solution.
This is the second one I’ve bought and they’re great. I knocked 1 star off for ‘weatherproof’ as we found on chest number 1 it let a little water in once round the lid, but we combat that by covering top of contents with plastic sheet. It holds a lot we have fold up deckchairs, cushions, tools, garden toys etc in them
