This is my second of these filters I have purchased. Got another lens so needed a different size. Love these filters, easy to use, no ‘X’ and no colour cast. My photo’s and videos benefit greatly from the use of these great Products. Buy with confidence!
Works well but can’t give it 5 stars as I’ve not been out and tried filming properly yet but from what I have done it works great for the money
No X at all on this variable ND. Initially hesitant to buy as the last one of a different type said no X but it did have it. This one has stoppers in the ring so you cant overturn it and get the X.
I am a videographer and I can’t compare this against some of the more high end filters but I am happy with the colour it is producing especially on skin tones
Iv’e tried many vnd filters for a rang of manufacturers and this is by far the beast its a must for video and stills.
Great and flexible ND filter. At ND32 light vignetting on corners. For price great deal.
Great tool for making sunny conditions usable with a high aperture making pictures completely over exposed, this fixed that. Also it’s quite good to have on the camera as a kind of protecter of the lense.
I have purchased a few K&F Concept products recently and this also doesn’t fail to delivery. Still early days but very please with it, ticks all the boxes and for a great price!
Came in a beautiful box
Smooth and high quality
I’m very happy about the product
Thinking to buy one more for another lens.
Brilliant variable filters … I used on my Canon 5DMk4 to take video and these filters gave me the proper exposure / frame rate everytime … I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase more for future lenses of different diameter.
Fully recommended!!
I used it on my a7iii throughout Vietnam and it was pretty good.
Loved this filter, it’s very useful to be able to adjust by a stop or two when you’re setting up the shot rather than having to change filters. I’m fairly new to using nd filters so it’s nice to be able to see the difference each stop makes without any fuss.
I love this filter. I use it on my 25mm 1.2 Olympus lens and love it! yes, sometimes it does saturate the sky, but you can usually get around it after. I use it for photography and video 🙂
I bought this for my Nikon D5500 with a 18-140 lens. I am very impressed with the quality of the filter! There is no marks or darker areas like i had on another filter (52mm) i will see if i can upload a pic, later but i can say i would buy it again!
in past i got k&f ND filters and i wasn’t happy about them because the had horrible purple colour cast what i couldn’t get ride with photoshop, they were cheap. about 10 for 3 different ND filters with pouch. yeah… price does matter))) lol)) this one is NOTHING close to those what i use to have. it feels like i had ford ka and now i have ford mustang)))
ok…
i use 70-200mm is f4 and 10-18mm both have 67mm
it’s really easy to change from ND2 to ND32 don’t need to unscrew your ND filter from lens, just spin the circle.
there is NO COLOUR CAST. what is most important thing in ND filter. i would say i bought Nisi quality ND filter for twice less than Nisi.
comes in hard storage case not pouch. so when you throw your ND filter in your camera bag , you don’t have to worry about that it will smash. i would definitely buy it again.
This variable ND has endstops which is very useful – my other one is a Tiffen which just keeps rotating and it’s possible to get bad results if you rotate too far. No problem here.
I’m using it on a Leica 8-18mm Lumix lens – it does fit inside the lens hood but only just but it’s then a little tricky to rotate the filter. Any other variable ND would have the same issue re. lens hood.
Nicely made, nicely damped movement. And none of the X vignetting that happens with some variable ND filters.
and if you unscrew it slightly works well as a polarising filter which is a nice unexpected bonus!
Fast delivery, good build quality, very satisfied. This is the second product I’m using from K&F and their product quality is superb.
Amazing this variable ND filter from K&F. One of the things that immediately caught my attention was having a minimum and maximum stop, as opposed to some endlessly rotating filters, and being lightweight. I bought the 67mm filter to use on my new Tamron 28-75 2.8 mounted on a Sony A7 III and the quality is great, in the images I used the filter I noticed no quality loss or color change. The “X” cross didn’t appear at any time along the course. And the packing is very usefull to store when not in use.
It is incredibly useful for shooting outdoors with sun to keep the shutter correct and not overly high. It also serves to be able to use a larger aperture and thus blur the background of the image further.
It is possible to use with the lens hood though if required although not as practical.
Although it was purchased primarily for video use, the filter is also very good for long exposure photography.
Brilliant piece of kit just needs to be a bit darker for daytime though
Filters as described. Great experience with this product. Highly recommend.5* service
I’m big into night photography, but the problem is, I often find that to get the desired results, I have to have a really low ISO. Because of this filter, I am able to take better photos without compromising on my ISO. The filter comes securely packaged and it will be accompanying me on my travels.
I got this as an alternative to the SRB filter i was using previously and quite frankly… its amazing. Its unbeatable for the price. I love the fact it has hard stops at both ends so you cant over rotate it and get that darkening and X pattern you get with most cheaper variable ND filters. It’s also in a nice round case and has the stops scale marked on it. I did find its range is ever so slightly different from stated… it’s about a 3rd of a stop under, but the image quality is great.
I tested this filter against some filters that I pay more for, and I would definitely recommend it!
With the variable ND filter, you usually want to avoid the very end of the scale, and this is pretty much the same across the range. With this one, it’s very easy to see where is the end of the scale and not over rotate it, which is happening a lot when you running around to pick up the footage with other filters. I would say it’s either something like this or much more expensive filters within the range or 300 or more. Don’t go for anything in the middle!
Fantastic Filter, has stops to limit the twist in order to avoid the dreaded X shadow, it’s very cheap compared to other brands, and the quality feels very solid, clear markings on the filter to get accurate images, comes with a nice case to keep it secured
