Just so you know there are tons of little pieces. Takes a while to assemble. Its kinda expensive for what you get. Overall kiddos enjoy playing with it.

This pirate play set was an awesome purchase. There is so much detail to every part of it. This was a hit for my sons Christmas present and it gets so much use! It did take almost 3 1/2 hours to assemble which was awful but well worth it to see my kids excitememt on Christmas morning

I absolutely love this castle. My 4 year old son plays with it everyday since Christmas. His 7 year old sister loves it too. It was time consuming to put together but not hard. So happy we got this for him

Oh my! My tiny human loved this!!! I got it for him for Christmas and it should've been the ONLY thing I got him. It took about an hour to put together and was kinda frustrating but not in an angry way there was just no colored pictures... BUT I loved putting it together knowing tHat tiny would love it.!!! 5 stars all the way!!!

Instructions were very vague. Took roughly 2hr to put together. But end result was awesome. I was singing yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me. Kiddos absolutely love it!

Once you get the 60+ pieces assembled, it looks amazing and feels sturdy. My 2 year old and 7 year old both play with it, the 2 year old almost constantly. Both kids love it. My only real complaint is that, for the money, the exterior decals (flooring in particular), is already peeling up a vit on the edges, and it’s only been played with for a week. It has been played with in a normal capacity, not knocked over or overly rough. So that is a downfall. I expected this would happen over time with the way the toy is made, but at the price point, it’s a negative for me.

A good couple of hours to assemble and I’m quiet good at these kind of things, I put all pieces in numerical order and it was fairly easy from there, just follow the instructions and dont skip any parts.. Well made and great for multiple ages
Bought for our 6 & 3 yo boys Xmas gift. It’s definitely been a hit with both of them! And it’s big enough that they can both be playing (especially with the ship) and not get into each other’s space ie fighting.
Quality is great. All wood. Solid back panels, not just flimsy cardboard. It did take me about 2 hrs to assemble, but I really don’t mind since it’s solid and will last a long time.

Amazing! My 4 year old is going to love it! Excellent quality and the instructions were very precise and all the pieces were labeled with a number to help. It did take me 2 hours to put it all together. But it’s a great product!

Awesome toy
This is awesome, it’s a little confusing to put together just because there are soooo many pieces, but well worth the effort. If you buy it as a gift consider putting it together beforehand. The only issue I’ve had is the little rope railings keep popping out, but I will get some wood glue and that should fix the issue.
My son loves it! It’s the type of gift that will last for years and years and not a punch of plastic junk.

Putting it together takes few hours, but its a great toy, very solid, my 3 and 5 year old loved it! Make sure to separate the parts by number, and if ur not a pro on building ( like my self) it takes few hours to put it together! ( we added book and hat also from amazon)

Literally comes in pieces, one screw was missing meaning the lift at top off ramp is not great but my son does really love playing with this !!!

Great product. Little boy loved this for his birthday. It did take 2 hours to construct and number 7 of the wooden parts was not drilled correctly so partner had to re-drill the holes which was a nuisance. Would still recommend I’m sure if you were to message the seller and just get them to check the part before posting out.

Was a bit worried when I ordered this due to a few picky reviews but we can’t say we had any issues took us around 1hour and half to put togther but what’s time when your doing somthing for your little one who is thrilled with it. It’s very well made and beautifully structured.

Very well made product although the instructions could be better. Took around 2 hours to put it all together but that is more because of the time it takes to figure out the instructions. It is not difficult just time consuming. Cannons and treasure light up which the kids really liked. You will need to purchase additional pirates, I bought the “Liberty Imports Bucket of Pirates” and it matches up pretty well.
Bottom line kids (3 and 5 year old) have enjoyed it and it is still standing after weeks of play.
My grandson is a pirate fanatic and he absolutely loved this. It took a while for Gramps and I to put together, but it was well worth it. He plays with it often. Such a joy to watch him.

This product was shipped as expected. It made it in two days with appropriate shipping.
The product itself is pretty cool. My 3.5 year old received it for Christmas yesterday morning and has been playing it with non-stop. He definitely loves it. It’s pretty sturdy and I’m thinking it will take a fair amount of abuse before it ends up in the toddler-toy-graveyard. It did take 2 hours for two handy guys to assemble though. There are a lot of pieces that needs to be put together. The instructions are pretty good though. Above average in detail and follow-ability. You do have to be careful if you use a drill. Make sure to set your drill on a very low torque setting. Too much power will snap the heads of the screws or breaks the pieces. Just be careful and thorough. Aside from the very entailed assembly process, the Pirate Fort is awesome. The extra pirate guys, treasure chest, furniture, ramps, pirate ship, crane, barrels, and rope ladder are all nice touches that my little boy plays with and lets his imagination run wild. The extra pieces are very well built and sturdy. They may one day get lost, but I doubt they’ll ever get broken.
Just make sure you have several hours to put it together. Slow and methodical, follow the instructions and enjoy the process. It definitely worth it! Great product.

I’ve taught preschool for many years and now have two kids of my own and tend to be a little bit of a toy snob...meaning I only want open ended, good quality toys. Granted, the wood is composite and images will get dings and fade a bit. But other than that, this toy has so much value. I took the advice of others and set up early. We found set up to be a breeze. I love it! My son is going to freak out when he sees it Christmas morning.. very easy instructions! Great quality. Everything about is perfect. The only thing I don’t like is the little characters they are made out of rubber so the one with the stubby leg doesn’t really stand up without leaning against the wall. Over all I’d buy it again! One of the best toys I've ever purchased and I have 4 kid's so we have quit a few toys. A bit difficult to put together. Would definitely wait till kids are in bed because there are a ton of pieces. It took me 3 days working about 2.5 hours a night to get it done but well worth it.
One of the best toys I’ve ever purchased and I have 4 kid’s so we have quit a few toys. A bit difficult to put together. Would definitely wait till kids are in bed because there are a ton of pieces. It took me 3 days working about 2.5 hours a night to get it done but well worth it.

I'll be honest, this is a bit overpriced and takes some time to assemble, but my granddaughter LOVES it so to me it was worth every penny.

This was an impulse buy. My three year old son kind of liked pirates and we actually already had the kid kraft ship. I wanted him to have another big surprise Christmas gift. The other house they offer is police and firemen which he liked but not enough for a huge play set.

I had read this on another review so told my husband to please start well before Christmas in case we had any missing pieces and he could have more time with it. My grandson loves it, so we are glad we purchased it, it was worth the time! This is well made, wood and plastic, nicely painted and great quality.

My son really likes playing with dolls houses, but most of them are pink/girly and didn’t go with his room. This is fab for little boys who like to play with dolls. The quality is excellent, a little fiddly to up together in parts, but got there in the end. The pieces are numbered so easy to figure out what goes where, but be careful when peeling the numbered stickers off as I damaged a bit of the picture on one of the walls. We were missing one piece, but was able to build most of it without. Amazon wanted me to return the whole thing which was silly, but contacted Kidkraft directly who sent the piece out within a couple of weeks. There’s lots of fun things to play with. You can sail in the boat, dig for treasure, fire a canon (with really cool noises), capture a prisoner or just potter around the castle. The pirates are a bit funny looking so I’m going to replace them with some cuter wooden Budkins pirate figures. My son is nearly two and loves his castle and pirates. It should give him a few years of fun, it’s great!

It’s the same height as it’s recipient, my 15 month old son. Yes, according to the packaging he’s very young for it, but he ADORES his sisters doll house and has played with this constantly since Christmas morning, and I’m sure it will grow with him as he begins to use it for imaginative play when he’s older. Right now he loves putting the pirates in the brig and turning the lift wheel, and is very taken by the light up treasure. My nearly 5 year old daughter is enjoying it too when her brother naps, I was a bit hesitant as it’s a huge investment but no regrets so far, the most successful toddler toy of Christmas (narrowly beating Mr Potato Head!)

For characters to inhabit it we found Famosa Peter Pan pirates and lost boys (hard to find now as they were available in 2003/2004) but HABA Little Friends dolls are also a cute size for this. Works with lots of different pirate figures including Budkins although they aren't quite as much fun since they aren't as easy to pose. LOVE the details and well thought through design of the fort. The pirate ship is cool too but the Kidcraft deluxe big pirate ship that opens provides more options as an imaginary world for little pirates. A dollhouse for pirates!

I bought this set for my three year old son who loves pirates. When he saw it his eyes lit up. So much fun and things to play with. You can also add other figures and accessories too. Assembly was quite the ordeal. Takes about 60-70 screws to put it all together, so if this is a gift or from santa, make it ahead of time.

Even though I bought this at a reduced price due to some marks etc – it was in brilliant condition, so I feel I got a great bargain- easy to put together (Honestly I was prepared for a hard time as per other reviews but found it very simple)- it’s a fab product that I know my little boy will play with for years to come- brill that it has different levels and a ramp to shoot cars off!! What little boy doesn’t like to launch his cars! All wrapped and ready for his birthday- can’t wait to see him open it! I know it will be a big hit.

My 4-year-old son absolutely loves it and has creatively incorporated all of his other figurines we have collected over the years into his play (soldiers, minions, dinosaurs, etc.), He plays with it daily and it really helps to keep his imagination alive!

The quality is outstanding and the size is bigger than expected. The time to assemble comes from the number of pieces. Luckily the stickers are already applied.
A testament to the manufacturer: one of the pieces was printed incorrectly. I went to their website and ordered the part free of charge and it was overnighted!

I am a person who buys based on reviews of others. I am happy to say this playset was packaged very well and was delivered without any damage! All the reviews has me a little worried. This playset is very nice and sturdy. It does have A LOT of pieces, so that was a bit overwhelming at first. But the instructions cannot be anymore clear. Just take a breath and start at step 1.
It is very cute and I will buy this brand again.

This is a fantastic item! My boys love it & play together really nicely as there are so many elements.
It does take a while to build, but the instructions are not hard to follow – just lay everything out in front of you & if you’re not sure, look ahead a few steps to see what the position of the piece affects. Also, it is left to you to choose which colour screw to use – they are limited, so again best to think ahead so the more visible ones are correctly matched.

Lovely garage and my little boy loves it. I only don’t give it 5 stars because it was a nightmare to assemble. Took me 2 hours (with a bit of extra help as 2 arms werent enough) and I got blisters on my hands as some of the screw placements are difficult. The lift is difficult for him to pull up and the bottom ramp doesn’t attach to the the rest of it so keeps moving away from it. I’ve had to glue the petrol pumps onto the “Gas” bit cos they kept falling out.
Lovely once together though.

Took about an hour to construct, but no problems with construction. Lots of little bits to put together, colour matching screw heads etc add to the time. Lovely garage, would recommend, very unique, expensive too but you can tell that you are getting a quality piece of equipment. Also came with more cars than I expected. Bottom part of ramp does not attach, not sure why, maybe it should have a clip at the very least? This is the only niggle. Also be sure you have the room to spare, not tiny but this is what we wanted as an upgrade from the vtech toot toot garage that my 2 year old doesn’t play with much anymore. Million times better quality than similar hot wheels garage.
