Good toy
I bought this set for my son’s 5th birthday in good advance (for end of July) as it was on offer. There is no way for me to store it if I make it, so wanted to check at least all the parts, that everything is there and nothing’s broken. Nothing was missing or broken, but few scratches on different parts (attached couple pictures as example). I don’t consider it a big issue, so won’t be returning because of it, but minus star for those. Overall it looks nice, very colorful. I paid just under 100 and I think it’s fair price. It was before Xmas 175 and I wouldn’t pay that much because of the scratches. Will see how parts will line up and hopefully screws won’t break when I make it (in which case I’ll change my review), but for the moment I’m happy with the set.
Pirate's cove and ship play se
This play set is amazing! It might look overwhelming at first when you open the box but there are instructions to follow for easy assembly of both: the cove and the ship. My little boy loves it. Thank you for a quick and no hassle delivery.
We got this for my sons 6th birthday and he loved it! He’s very big into pretend play, especially anything with pirates. It’s very sturdy, even holding up well to his 1 year old brother. Definitely worth the price, this will get tons of use!
It took my husband about an hour to set up, but the directions were easy to follow.
Great product but lift very stiff
Bought this item as I knew someone with it already. They said it was great except the lift is very very stiff at going up and down. I thought maybe it was a one off so bought it for my 4 year olds birthday. The item took a while to put together but all well described in the instructions. A very robust item which my 18 month plays with too and stands up against. It’s a very large item too! Only complaint is that the loft on this one too does not freely go up and down. We put a bit of oil on it and this helped slightly but basically plastic runners for the lift are not correct for a wooden runner lift and design needs to be changed really. With two hands and a reasonable amount of force the lift does go up and down but only if you get the angle spot on. For young kids they won’t be able to manage it.

Great, fun, high quality set- comes just as described! 5 year old loves it, and it’s so sturdy that my toddler cannot damage it. It does take a while to put together, but follow the instructions (and know there are different color screws for various sections), and you’ll be fine. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my sons 5th birthday and it was a huge hit! He absolutely loved it. Like others have said, the ship was the easiest to build. We felt the the instructions were easy to read and understand, pay attention to the colored nails and match them with the color of the boat and castle. I timed how long it took us to build from start to finish, the ship took us 56min. We had a little trouble getting started lol overall it took us 2hrs 56min to put it all together. We’re very happy with the product! Would definitely recommend as a gift for your family

Biggest hit on Christmas morning! Kids love it and it’s been their favorite toy since. Non stop hours of fun!
On the other hand wasn’t such a great time putting together took two of us 3 hours and we almost broke up 3 times during the process but in the end it was worth it lol.

This was a Christmas present and took forever to put together the top peice on the pirate ship wouldn’t screw in and eventually fell down… I feel like this is one of those toys that you have to be gentle with. Over all it was cute but some parts ever manufactured wrong like the fencing had extra peices attached…the stairs wouldn’t clip on. Etc. Overall it’s cool and I’m excited for my kid

Ottimo gioco per bambini
il secondo prodotto della Kidkraft che acquisto per mio figlio. Abbastanza semplice montare la struttura ed il risultato pi che soddisfacente. Il materiale durevole e robusto, permettendo cos al bambino di giocare liberamente senza timore di rompere parti.
Tolle Piratenburg
Sehr stabile Konstruktion, der Aufbau dauert zwar etwas lnger ( habe etwa 2 Std. gebraucht), aber durch eine gute Bauanleitungen relativ einfach. Das Ergebnis erfreut jung und alt. Die Kanonen und die Schatztruhe habe verschraubte Knopfzellen (Kindersicher) und haben Effekte ( Licht und Gerusche). Wurde zum Geburtstag unseres 3 jhrigen Enkel gekauft. Tolle Sache und sehr zu empfehlen.

Wirklich ein tolle Piratenburg!
Die Burg und das Schiff sind sehr schn, mit vielen Details beschmckt und wirklich gro. Unser Sohn ist begeistert! Die Piraten kann mann so verbiegen, dass sie auf jedem Fall stehen und auch bischen sitzen knnen.
Baubeschreibung detailiert, alle Teile waren da und auch gengend Schrauben.
Einziges Nachteil, es gab in der Verpackung keine farbigen Abbildung vom Endergebnis, so dass wir im Internet nachschauen mssten. Sollte der Piratenburg verschenkt werden, empfiehlt sich ein Bild in die Verpackung hinzulegt werden.
Came with instructions for what looks like a fruit stand? So whoever has my pirate instructions ,good luck. After searching their website and waiting on hold 25 minutes I finally was able to find instructions via Google. Not as good as paper, so minus one star.

La struttura appare solida. C solo il problema dell albero della nave che no fissato alla stessa ma diciamo ha il suo sito e pu essere fin troppo facilmente sfilato(e lui lo usa come spada contro la sorella di 8 anni) per il resto gioco bello e ben fatto
Sturdy garage with great ramps
Although it took over an hour to assemble, the overall look and sturdiness was great. There were a few slits areas where the edges of the sections has paint worn but not enough to send it back.
The life was really stiff to operate but a few light drops of oil on the plastic slider section freed it up nicely.
It would have been nice if the finish line lights were more appropriate. They have red amber green lights on them, indicating the start, not the finish, and these have to be manually pressed on. It is also separate to the garage and stands beside it.
I would have suggested that the lights should have been at the top of the ramp, coming on when the car tipper was raised. And for the separate end to the ramp to be fixed to the rest.
Nevertheless, I am pleased with the product. Looks built to last.
Great toy, lift not so grea
The only negatives on this, is the lift is completely stiff, it is really tough to move it up or down. A child could not do it independently. Another note, not really a negative, just an idea. It would be so much better if the ramp (with the traffic lights) could click in at the bottom, as it comes away all the time, which is slightly annoying. Otherwise it’s a great addition to our playroom
This was awesome....my kid has had it now for 3 plus months and it has held up well *note* if ur child is the kind that Tries to tear up all their toys obviously nothing will last them long. But my child is kinda rough with his toys during play and its been super sturdy (it wouldn't hold up to being thrown, so to all those parents either make it urself out of something sturdier or don't be expecting fort knox). It literally comes with cannons that make a pretty realistic sound and pirate figures that look great. It was so fun that even I was getting down and playing with it and having a blast with my 4 yo. I bought it for around $130 so for that price point its been great.....some pieces are held together by little wooden dowel rods and started to come out after being played with for a while, but I used some wood glue and it fixed it permanently. To those who said they had damaged or missing pieces their is info in the assembly manual to get the pieces ur owed or to order additional pieces. Its super easy to assemble...the only thing that confused me are the tops of the screws...almost all the screws are the exact same screw, they just have a different color painted on the top....its up to you to match the color to where it goes lol....Im planning on ordering extra cannons so we can have 1 for every port hole on the sides of the ship, I cant wait to get them and have a full on pirate war!!

This is by far my favorite gift this year. It took about 2 hours to build, but it was totally worth it. The instructions are mostly clear. My only issue was that some of the screws are painted on top and there is no guide as to which color should go where. I did my best to match the screw to the paint around it, but I guessed wrong occasionally, so when I got to the last few screws I had to move a few to make the colors fit better.
It is incredibly sturdy and well made. The detail is impressive and the figures are awesome.
The cannons light up and make a cannon noise. The treasure chest lights up. The crane can connect to the cargo and pull it up from the ship. There is so much to love about this setup. My son loves it.
Kids loved it! It looks great in their room. It was a two person build job. Not for the faint of heart but worth it. I wish it did come more assembled together for the price. The pirate figures are okay. Very cool cannons and treasure chest! My boys use they lol superhero figures to play with as well. Fantastic value.

My 3.5yrs old boy was dreaming about a castle. But all castles are girly. Once I saw this one and showed it to him he felt in love! Got it for Christmas and was a big hit!
