You get what you ordered
The bags are quite small but the kindling is tightly packed. I didn’t weigh my delivery but it looked fine for the price.
A few of the pieces are a bit bigger than kindling normally is but these are great for ensuring a good fire base is created before adding logs.
I’ll certainly use this outlet again..
Neat, and reasonably consiste
I’ve bought this recently and I found that it arrived in neat packets.
However, I preferred the Certainly Wood kindling for a couple of reasons:
1. I found that it lasts a little bit longer than this kindling
2. there is no plastic in the packaging unlike this kindling.
Certainly Wood is a little bit more expensive of course but I think for future I’d probably pay the little bit extra for the above two benefits.

Extremely Dry and Flammable
I needed some kindling over the Christmas period quickly so Amazon delivered. I’d previously bought kindling locally but it turned out a little moist and didn’t burn particularly well. This little box did not disappoint.
It’s quite expensive but if you want kindling that lights up like it’s been doused in petrol then this is your box. Quick burn and makes starting a fire super easy, barely an inconvenience.

arrived quickly – they light really easily … I only rated heat output down as they are kindling … when the fire vents are open and the fire heat is going up the chimney and not into the room … they are dry and the perfect size to get your fire started in just moments
I’ve bought this kindling TWELVE times over the last couple of years. I’m sorry to see that the price has increased by 11 in the last 6 weeks. I understand that companies are struggling but so are customers. Shocking price increase. 21.95 on 04/11 and now 32.99 on 18/12. It’s good kindling and I’ve had no problems with it but I will be looking for cheaper in future. Such a shame because it was my go to.

That’s a ridiculous price increase so I won’t be paying that price I’m afraid.
Very disappointing.
Bought these in a emergency. Ordered in the evening and they arrived by the following lunchtime. They contain perfectly good kindling. However, have seen them back in stock now at our local hardware store for 3.99 a bag. So you pay twice the price for the luxury of having them delivered to your door in under 24 hours.
Critical to a firestarte
This bulk pack of dried kindling has been worth every penny to get the fire started in the mornings.
Normally procured from a petrol station (soaking wet bag) etc. at a large cost.
These came dry, boxed and ready to use.

I really like these as I have to lug them up a lot of steps from our cellar and the plastic bags wrapping them up has a handle which is very useful. I have a wood moisture measurement device and even though some had been stored over the summer in a damp cellar, they remained at 0-2% moisture after some months. Our first fire of the season started with no trouble. We used them all last year, and our chimney sweep was very pleased with the state of our chimney when he cleaned it in June after our last fire. I wish they were a bit cheaper but even though I have an axe, I don’t think I fancy cutting logs up any more to make kindling.
They are also a fairly consistent shape, and I build my fire starting structure very easily!

Great quality kindling nice big pieces that light easily, well packed for storage I would buy again. I bought these during lockdown due to garden centres being closed they are only slightly dearer than the ones you can get at the garden centre but by the time you’ve taken into account petrol money getting to a garden centre then it works out about the same!!

This is a must if you a burning hard wood which takes a lot more energy to get going. Usually 4/5 sticks of kindling do the job well.
