Bought as a present for a family member who was seriously getting into cooking. These are beautiful to look at, the pattern on the blades is magnificent, the handles feel comfortable and they definitely are fit for purpose. I chose this item over similar products because the knives are housed in a box which also contains an easy to use finger guard. Recipient extremely satified with quality and strength.
Knives arrived in time for Christmas cooking. They appear to be OK – arrived sharp, seem easy to sharpen (stropped so far, they maintain their edge pretty well), so haven’t been incapacitated by my incompetent sharpening. I bought this for my husband as he loves cooking and especially butchering meat. He loves them! He says they are so nice to hold and so sharp! I think they are totally worth the money! And they also come in a nice and well presented box.

This is a set of 3 chef’s knives; a classic chef’s knife, a Santoku style knife, and a smaller paring knife. They come in a simple presentation box, but really you’ll want a magnetic strip or block to put these in, becuase if you stick them in your cutlery drawer you’re going to lose a finger. Did I mention they’re sharp?
Price wise these are more expensive than a standard supermarket set, cheaper than say a Global set. So far they’re working well for us but we’re only a few weeks in – they’re pretty and elegant and handle well, though we have had at least one poorly finger as a result of a misplaced slice.
Not only is this a great looking set that would make an excellebt gift for a bidding chef, or a true professinal. I love the finger guard – when working with such sharp knives that can easily slice half of your fingers off, a guard is almost a must and I am glad it is included in the set! What I love about these knives is that they do not g blunt easily – I have been using them ( well the medium knife from the set) every single day as my main kitchen knife and it has not been sharpened once, but is as sharp as it was on the first day! Highly recommended!

I’ve been using this knife set for a couple of weeks now and they’re a pleasure to handle and as expected incredibly sharp.
The repeated Damascus steel etching on their sides gives them a bit of a different look but obviously etched and not real Damascus.
The wooden handles are beautifully finished and look quality with the dark colour and polished finish which enhances the highly polished steel and they feel balanced in the hand.
The included finger guard is something to seriously consider using. As previously said I love the look and feel of this set and would recommend them!

As soon as you open the box these arrive in (over 18 verfification required, the delivery person will ask to see proof) you can see the quality. The box itself is large and a good weight and looks expensive and of a high quality and that’s before you even open the box.
The knives themselves are sharp and are made with such high quality you instantly see why these carry such a price tag.
The finger guard is a wondefull accessory as not everyone is knife confident, i for 1 am not confident around such sharp knifes epecially when chopping vegeatbles and holding them in place. For me this extra detail is the usp (unique selling point) of these knives, it’s sturdy being stainless steel.
The knives are very ergonmically made, with the handle being very comfortable in your hand and the different blades ensure you have a knife for a variety of food, meat, fruit,veg and cheese.
The description states these are dishwasher safe, to be honest if spending a lot of money on knives like these I personally do not use my dishwasher as I do not want to risk damaging the wooden handles on these.
I would recomend keeping these knifes in the presentaion box to preserve the knives to maximise the endurance, these are not just knives these are a investment.
For non foodies who may not know the correct cut of foods can make or break a dish so choose your knives wisely, this set of knives will not let you down.
Wow this knife set is so attractive I didn’t know whether to use these or put them on display, as they are so decorative with their patterned handles and decorative wooden handles. They come in a really lovely presentation box and a special finger block to keep your fingers safe when cutting. But best off all and this is the important bit, boy do they cut well, they passed the squishy tomato test no problem. My only reservations were that there wasn’t a serrated edge one for bread, nor a really small one. but I have others for that. However their decorative and effectiveness may not be worth the price they are currently seeking. However these are definitely top end sharp knives.
Three Damascus knives with laser etched patterns on the blades to help with less friction when cutting food. The knives are light and the wooden handles fit nicely in the hand when preparing food. The blades are really sharp and it felt a bit intimidating at first because of this but, you soon get use to how well they cut and how safe as they do not slip on the food. A finger guard is provided if you feel safer using it.
The chef’s knife is the longest with a narrower blade than the Santoku which has shallow scallops along the blade. Both these knives are suitable for cutting meat, mincing, slicing and dicing. I prefer the Santaoku as it seems to cut cleaner than the Chef’s knife. They are both large knives for the normal domestic kitchen. The utility knife is easier to get used to as it is about the usual size I would have in my kitchen and it is great for cutting vegetables.
his set just looks amazing, I don’t what to get them out of the box because they are just so beautiful. great gift for any cooking lover friend. and if you are buying them for your household then this is such a great investment as they are most definitely a high-quality set.
Great set of knives. Probably end up buying the whole set. These guys even sent a letter to me I thought it was a nice touch.
Easy to use . For years now I don’t need to buy any other knives…
