This drummachine is more than a drummachine! It can make more than just drum sounds. Very portable and interesting unit. Wide range of sounds. Has built in speaker and can be battery operated. Very nice little drummachine!

Trovo un po’ scomodo che la presa cuffie sia sulla parte destra, considerato che di norma le cuffie hanno il cavo a sinistra.
great drum machine for making wacky sounds only problem is random button always seems to make a bad high pitch sound that can be fixed after and is great for exploring bass sounds are on point the memory in it is limited but my zoom h6 is not I mainly use this synth for recording samples of its sound for later usage in lmms
It’s really super easy to create a really rich percussion layer, sound editing capabilities – mind-blowing.
I recommend buying with adapter, don’t rely on batteries – cause there’re really no point for that, unless you really want super-portability.
Think of this synth not as a drum machine but a percussion synthesizer. Kicks, snares, toms etc it is not. Though you can certainly model a kick or a snare kit and then sequence it. You can model hitting sheet metal with a hammer or slapping a PVC sewer pipe with your hand with your head stuck in one end. Any sort of percussion sound you could imagine and then permutations thereof ad infinitum.

The most versatile and rhythmic device of its kind for its purpose. I have only played with it for just one day and I know it will bring many moments of great sound. The fact that it can be battery operated and has a built in speaker speaks for itself. MIDI in and headphones out will make it easily compatible for many sound systems. If you know what you know when you are synthesizing, this will give you unlimited options!
Ok, My Korg Volca drum may be 7 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, and has a limited sound, but don’t let this little box fool ya!!
You have 6 different drum parts you can play with this, but a pilifera of unlimited sounds.
You can tweak with the pitch, the amount, the attack,the rate, the release, the decay, the tune and the body.
You can also get sounds from load kit and load program.
Also, which ever you load, either the kit, or the program, you can clear everything and make it unique.
You might think it is limited as far as playing with the little key bed, but how about hooking up a midi keyboard to this baby and play it?
I forgot to mention that it has swing and sequence. Which you can tweak as well.
All in all, please do not sleep on this because it looks like a little box, the good news is it does look like a little box, and doesn’t take up much room, so I use it with my Korg Volca Fm.
I also use a plug because i’m on it for hours, and I then sample it into my DAW.

Ottima drum machine (sarebbe meglio dire “drum synth” ma cmq). Unica pecca, e quindi niente 5 stelle, la mancanza di pi pattern per un singolo kit. E’ frustrante dover ogni volta copiare il kit sul nuovo pattern. Cosa che oltretutto fa perdere gli altri kit a disposizione. Dovrebbero sistemare questo piccolo difetto secondo me.
It’s not analog and I don’t care. The VA/digital engine can handle a wide variety of synthetic drum and percussion sounds, and it sounds really great, for the price or otherwise. This and the Sample are my favorite Volcas to date.
