Such high and long lasting quality. Definitely value for money
When you’re buying a big purchase and of course a big item, such as a doll house for your child, it’s worth paying a little extra to ensure that it’s sturdy and that it’s going to last. This dolls house feels strong and sturdy and for that security and the fact I know that it’s going to last and pass from and to each of my daughters, is definitely worth the money. I don’t have to worry about buying another one for my other daughters because of the materials this is made out of, I know it will last. It’s also a high quality dolls house that my daughter is thoroughly enjoying playing with it and also defending it and her dolls from her little sister.
Great size and lovely quality
This is a beautiful and generously sized dolls house built for 1/12 scale furniture and figures. It is nearly a metre high and provides 4 floors worth of space to play with. There is plenty of room for all the rooms that make a home and the attention to detail is lovely – I particularly like that there are windows on every side of the house – making it really light inside.
The house is very strong and is finished really well, as well as being no problem to construct. It’s made from rubberwood – which is nice from an eco point of view as it is supposed to be very sustainable. Be prepared though as the box is pretty heavy – I needed help moving it (but I’m a wimp – my husband carried it upstairs without injury!). Although this is an expensive toy, I think it will last very well and will be the sort of thing that either gets handed on to the next child, or could be resold.
There is no integrated lighting, which is a shame at this price, but you can buy battery operated lights to add to the house if you want to. This is obviously aimed at children and I think offers a really optimal dolls house experience given the size, quality and good looks of it. We’ve had several dolls houses over the years (including lots made for creatures rather than dolls) and I really like the look and feel of this one very much – it feels like quality.
The most beautiful dolls house I’ve ever see
This dolls house is totally gorgeous. I really love it and can’t stop playing with it when my son is in bed and I get a chance to have it all to myself.
Firstly, I’d like to say how easy this large dolls house was to build. All the panels slot very neatly together and it’s surprisingly strong and sturdy when it’s assembled. The only bits that need a screwdriver and screws are the bannisters and stairs, and the hinges for the opening front of the dolls house.
Overall I think my husband and I spent around 20 minutes assembling the dolls house and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
The size of the dolls house is also very impressive, being 3-storeys tall (and with a cleverly accessible loft space too, with loft ladder and loft hatch included and where the roof neatly folds over on top of the other roof section) and it looks amazing in our living room.
The soft, pastel shades are sooo much nicer than some of the alternatives out there…. bright, vile pink of Barbie-branded stuff springs to mind, urggh. This dolls house is the total opposite to that particular type of toy… it’s traditionally-styled, elegant, made with quailty materials and fully intended to be a toy that lasts for at least several generations of children.
We have invested in some of the Le Van Toy furniture and wooden families to fill the interior of this wonderful house, which although adds to the overall cost of this toy, really do finish it all to perfection.

Sturdy, but not really portable
To say it was a big surprise is like to say nothing! I’ve received a huge and a very heavy box, which I could barely move myself. Needed to wait for my husband to get this upstairs as we wanted to assemble it right in the nursery. Ooooo. That was a good decision as there is no way any of us or both could move this doll house once put together! It was not very easy to do, btw, took us over an hour for sure, but we’re generally not good at assembling furniture… I’m saying furniture as this house takes lots of space, like a big chest of drawers. So do think, where to put it before purchase, I’d even measure the space as once it’s assembled, it’s not really portable and even move it to another corner or room might be a problem.
I was worried if this house is built sturdy enough being put on a carpet as I’m a crazy mum and try to screw anything I can to the walls) However, it seemed quite sturdy and secure. The quality of material and paints is impressive. Details are lovely crafted. It looks beautiful. Kids are over the moon. They put there …dinosaurs and cars… Yep… Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with any dolls or doll furniture, it needs to be bought separetely…
Imho, over 180 quid for just a wooden doll house is expensive. You can find all together (house +furniture) for much less, especially on sales. However, the producer claims that sustainable rubber wood is used, non-toxic paints, etc, so it’s supposed to be eco friendly and planet responsible toy, which is possibly reflected in its price.
Solid Doll's House that will last for years
Sometimes it is lovely to get something for a child/grandchild who can spend many happy hours playing with something that will pass the test of time. This Le Toy Van doll’s house fits the bill perfectly.
Firstly it is sturdy – weighing in at a little over 40 lbs (19.8kg) – and takes a short time to put together. The box is well packed and construction, simple. Everything about this doll’s house says lasting quality – even the paint looks like it will not chip or rub away – and that includes the ‘whole’ structure.
It comes in 3 levels plus the attic – just lift the roof for the attic – and each level is well defined and large enough to house a whole collection of furniture and fittings. Talking of which, for any DIYer it is fairly simple to install a battery powered lighting system, but even without the lights this is one amazing doll’s house.
The paintwork is well proportioned and the whole frontage looks very appealing indeed. By the way, because of the weight of this house, I suggest you make sure you place it where it needs to stay especially as once the furniture is in residence, it is just too heavy to move.
As an investment for your child/grandchild this is up there with the best. Indeed treated carefully and looked after I can see this lasting for many years.
Although the house we got had no furniture, it means that family members are able to get together and fill the house with all it needs, making this an ideal Christmas/Birthday present. A 5 star gift all the way.
A big beautiful house.
This is what I would call an everlasting toy. It can be played with by many age groups and items can be collected and added over time. It was surprisingly easy to put together and once fixed is a very sturdy house. It is really big and quite heavy so if it is for a gift you need somewhere good to hide it before the day. It has lots of lovely features and detailing and all you need to add is furniture and people. I had a big house like this when I was a girl and loved it and I know that my grandchildren will love this house just as much, worth every penny.

Wonderful - as is usually the case with Le Toy products
We have been a fan of Le Toy products for a long time; they’re durable, well made and then to outlast the usual plastic tat. This is another great example.
The four story doll’s house comes flat-packed but we got it together without too much difficultly. The result was a very impressive house which is ready to decorate and fill as you wish. We had another doll’s house in the past which was unpainted inside and so presented an overwhelming job. Not so this one, which is already painted and you could just fill, which is particularly good if you have very young kids.
This comes highly recommended. It’s the kind of toy they’ll remember for years to come!
This is a very big dolls house with four storeys if you include the attic. On the photo on the box it looks white with a blue roof and sky blue shutters but it is actually cream with a very nice grey roof, duck egg blue shutters and natural wood coloured floors. It has a classic style, not tacky. There is no furniture or family in residence, you add your own. The ceilings are low so this is for small dolls e.g. Melissa and Doug, LOL Surprise, Lalaloopsy Littles, Sylvanian Families etc.
There are a lot of different parts to this house. It took quite a while to put together and another pair of hands is useful to hold the floors in place while you attach the sides. You will need a small cross head screwdriver. The instructions are quite small and it is tricky to see the detail.
It is vital that you line up the two-part front with the magnets on the edge of one of the floors. This will tell you how far in to attach the four corner posts. If you get this wrong, as I did, you will have to take the whole thing apart to realign them or the front of the house won’t close at all.
The staircases, ladder and loft hatch are all good features although the loft ladder doesn’t sit in its place properly. You need to remove the chimney tops to flip the roof up.
A really lovely toy that feels sturdy and as though it will stand up to a lot of play.
Wow facto
This is a very impressive dolls house – standing nearly a 1m tall, and at 1/12 scale it will surely delight. Of course you are going to have to put some funiture in it – which you can buy as a complete package at nearly 400 quid for house and contents – or you can buy individual packs. Unless you are very rich I would suggest holding back on some of the contents – as there is new delight when a new room is being out together.
Being made of rubber wood, this is strong and the detail is really good. This is not a cheap item, but it will give many years of play. But it is large, so figure out where it is going to live. Probably on the floor too, so allow for that. Can’t fault it though.
Attractive dolls house
This is a well made house, environmentally friendly in construction, easy to assemble and kids love it.
The negative is the price and that it is empty and you will need to purchase people and furniture., Having just seen a 3 story wooden house that looked very similar to another in this LTV range, and that came with a family and furniture for 40, I cannot see why LTV is so expensive, even though the quality is exceptional.
It looks stunning and has lots of play potential. It is not a collector’s dolls house – entirely meant for play as the features are simple and walls are decorated. I would unhesitantly recommend it if the price was not so high.
Heavy, hard to assemble but absolutely beautiful!
This dolls house is beautiful, it looks lovely and would make many young children very happy. It is a very decent size with three floors and an attic but the light colours on the outside of the dolls house means that it doesn’t dominate the room.
It arrived in a large box that showed the contents so keep that in mind. The box is also incredibly heavy as the dolls house alone is just shy of 20kg. Putting the house together was far harder than I had expected, the instructions were not clear at all and this was frustrating. I needed help at various points as I didn’t have enough hands to slot it all together. It did involve a few swear words! But the stress of that was worth it as we now have a beautiful dolls house that should last for many years.

I had been looking around for options for my daughter and had settle don one of the range from LTV when I was offered this.
It arrives flat packed and is very heavy. Once unpacked I set about assembly with thoughts of flat pack horror in my mind but it was actually straight forward to assemble.
Once assembled you will notice it is big. Very big. We have decided to keep this in her room as its not easily portable.
The furniture and people are bought seperately and can be done so as part of different ranges or in large multipacks.
The furniture and people are well made and robust.
I love the detailing on the house and daughter adores it. It is a premium dolls house in my opinion but worth every bit!
It is big!
Be warned this is a big doll’s House! Nearly three feet high. It arrives flat packed and is fairly straightforward to assemble, there are no nuts and bolts and it slots together. It feels sturdy and seems to be of good quality. It is rather expensive so I do feel it a shame that all the relevant furniture has to be bought separately. I would have thought the manufacturing firm could have added a starter pack at least.
This is going to be for my grandchildren and so I will purchase some furniture for them but I do not think it is vital that you buy or use the furniture that goes with this product. My two have loads of small dolls and animals that I think will live quitecomfortably in this house
Best dolls house
Well what can I say about this doll house. It’s amazing. The quality and craftsmanship of it is superb
My daughter thrilled with it. The design and detail is perfect. The only drawback for me is it doesn’t house Barbie size dolls but fortunately my daughter has smaller dolls that fit great in it.

A huge and beautiful wooden dolls house but; it's 'very' heavy.
A huge, 92cm high, extremely heavy wooden dolls house with three floors, three staircases and a roof that lifts off to reveal an attic space. The front of the house swings open to reveal the interior and there are a huge number of windows plus a large front door. Highly decorated to the outside but plain on the inside to allow room for play and imagination. No dolls or furniture included with my house but there are plenty of accessories available. If you wanted to upgrade, the house is available to order with dolls and furniture included. Because of the sheer size and pretty appearance this dolls house has a real ‘wow’ factor but; the size and weight makes it more difficult to manage and you certainly wouldn’t want to move it around your home into different locations. It needs to be situated on the floor and don’t be tempted to place the house on a table or anywhere high from where it might be pulled forward and fall. This is a self assembly model, you’ll need the right type of screw driver, but the assembly wasn’t difficult although it did take two of us. Daisylane Cherry Tree Hall is an absolute joy but the size and weight have to be considered and it must be placed somewhere appropriate. Not suitable for children under three years.

Ideal home dolls house
This three story house was very easy for me to assemble & it is not difficult for my granddaughter to open the front of the house or the roof.
The windows and shutters open as well as the front door.
Inside there is a staircase opposite the front door and the house is roomy with lots of space.
The roof and porch tiles have sparkles with little hearts.
There is a lot of room for imaginative play and my granddaughter has no problem introducing non Le Toy products into the home. She has incorporated many of her old favourites already. Next job is decorating and furnishing the entire house!
Also it is really good to have an alternative to plastic.
Very Good
This is one of those defining types of toys/gifts which you will remember for a very long time.
It is a beautifully made wooden dolls house. It is quite imposing and large. It appears to be well made, although some pieces are a little too heavy for the hinges. It took about 50 minutes to put together and I cannot say it was an easy task. So be prepared for the slog. Once you get going on it, it is quite logical and not like some Ikea/MFI type of furniture which can defy logic, when putting it together. The slots and pegs all matched and created a strong frame. The front panel is too heavy for the hinges, so it does sag, but not a big deal. The real value in this product is from the mental stimulation and creativity such a toy invokes. My daughter has not stopped playing with it since we gave it to her. Everything from her imaginary guests coming to tea, to using it as a hotel for some of her small soft toys etc have all been played out. This is an excellent product and I am happy to highly recommend it.
I'd live here
I was surprised at just how heavy this box was when it arrived. We’ve assembled toys from Le Toy Van before so I had an idea of what to expect and find it a lot easier to lay everything out and familiarise yourself with the instructions before making a start but I’d highly recommend assembling it in the room it will be used in since the box is easier to move to another room than the assembled house. Overall I’d say it took me about 20 minutes just taking my time — it does help that the walls etc are already decorated and it’s also very handy to keep the box around for reference. Unlike other dolls houses this one is very much open plan with two rooms and no room dividers although there is a subtle difference in the wall paper to create 4 different rooms. There are stairs leading to the first floor but to access the attic you need to remove the roof — there’s no stairs access like the other rooms but if you have lots of spare furniture etc (these are not included in this option) they can easily be stored away. It’s a good size at around 60cm x 35cm x 67cm — something they can easily sit at or stand at if accessing the attic. There is a lot of attention to detail in the dcor but it is very feminine. The one thing I’m not so keen on is the metal magnet closures for the front of the house because they are a bit too easily opened so if it was tipped forward everything could fall out. It is well made though and should be very durable if it is something you want to keep and pass down/on in the future.
Instructions could be improved
So have spent the best part of an hour putting this together. The instructions are not very good and frankly if they had spent a few pennies more making the instructions in colour and having screw holes put in for some elements this would have been easier, also the order of assembly wasn’t entirely doable and I think ideally you need 2 people to put it together properly. Not ideal really when you are under pressure from a little person who is a bit excitable to try something out . That being said once it is assembled it does provide lots of fun and all the elements look treat opening windows with internal details such as curtains painting mirror and clock painted on to make it feel more homely. This doesn’t come with any furniture but can be played with without quite happily with any small toys or characters that can fit in. Overall 3.5 for me, with the possible of stars being for the instructions which weren’t as helpful as they could have been (and I’m pretty good with this stuff!)
We have had a few Le Toy Van toys and they have all been absolutely wonderful, made from wood and finished to an incredibly high standard and this dolls house is no different. The house is absolutely beautiful and so pretty – I’m not usually a pink fan despite this being one of my Daughters favourite colours but wow this house is absolutely gorgeous with so much attention to detail.
The only slight minus is that the house does not come with furniture and so this will need to be purchased separately unless you already have furniture to fit. The house perhaps took my Husband 20minutes to build and he advised it was easy to do.
Once built the house measures approximately 60cm by 60cm by 35cm deep.
The dolls house has three floors and the front of the house can be fully opened or part opened on each side. The roof can be opened on both sides too or removed if wished. The door and all of the windows can be opened and the front windows also have shutters that can be opened or closed too. There are even little window plants on the sides that can also be removed if wished but look so much nicer attached. The attention to detail is beautiful with the inside of the house fully decorated and the roof even has pink glitter sparkles on it.

Investment to
This dolls house is sat ready in my daughter’s room waiting for her to be old enough to play with it. It is beautiful and well made. My partner said it was fairly tricky to put up, the instructions weren’t great but got there in the end.
It is quite expensive for what it is and then all the furniture and dolls need to be purchased separately which will take you into several hundreds of pounds for the whole thing. I would say though that this will last several children and generations so an investment.

A perfect dolls house for younger children.
A lovely doll house for a younger person. Takes about 30 minutes to get it together , which is nothing . I love doll houses and have one I built myself and it takes up loads of room. This much more compact than an adults house because the rooms don’t have the depth , therefore easy for children to play with and all the action is at the front. It is the pretty pink and green ,it comes fully decorated. This scope for imaginative play is endless , I can see this being on a lot of Christmas lists and a lot of excited children having a wonderful adventure with their dolls house.

My daughter loves this. It’s a nice big and beautiful dolls house. Well made its got the feel of something that will last for years. It took me about an hour to put together but I’m quite slow at these things so that’s the longest it should take. Great toy.
Doll house
I love Le Toy Van wooden products and this house did not disappoint. BUT PLEASE NOTE NO FURNITURE IS INCLUDED. Furniture is sold separately. The box is enormous and the house comes flat packed. Strictly speaking it’s minimal assembly required but actually much harder than it looks. It does NOT require any gluing and screwing is minimal. You will NEED a crosshead screwdriver. It’s really clever how it goes together because if you need to pack it away again it would be relatively straight forward to disassemble it at a later date. The instructions are fairly clear but I still found it hard to put together. I made lots of mistakes and needed a second pair of hands to hold it for me. However, eventually after a few errors I finally got it together by myself. You will want to lay everything out first, read all the instructions (not just one direction at a time) and then familiarise yourself with all the parts. It will make life a lot easier and quicker.
You don’t actually have to attach the front doors if you don’t want to. I think it looks quite nice without them. The doors don’t have a catch (only a small magnet which doesn’t work very well) so when you are moving the house the doors flap open.
The roof parts are removable to expose the attic playing space which is accessible from both sides. Unfortunately we have only had it for a week but already one of our roofs have become split and damaged.
The stairs are removable too. Once it’s been built, it’s big! And it’s heavy. One adult can move it around if you’re fairly strong but I would suggest building this in the room you are going to play with it in. Taking it upstairs AFTER it has been built is hard work.

What can I say. Another great product from Le Toy Van. I seem to be falling in love with le Toy Van toys, have a great collection of them now. This dolls house is prefect. My daughter is totally over the moon with it, she is so in love with it. The house is easy to assemble and put together, a very nice spacious house, my daughter uses it with all the doors and accessories she already has. I wouldn’t say the house in 100% perfect in material wise, there are a few little scrapes or slight scratches on some corners, but this didn’t put my daughter off. Price wise there are many more expensive doll houses out there, but for me this one is great, it’s pink how my daughter likes it and very recommended
Classic dolls' house
This is a classic wooden dolls’ house, in a very feminine french style, but with no furniture. It is deep enough for meaningful room design and play but not so deep that it will take over the bedroom. Described as three storey, which is something that even an estate agent wouldn’t claim.

It is a nice dolls’ house, but given the many alternatives it feels a bit expensive. We have owned Sophie’s Car from the same brand for years and it is built to last, so I am pretty confident about the build quality.
You’ll need to buy a whole load of furniture to go with this house – gifting an empty dolls’ house is just not the done thing.

Dollhouse Of Deligh
Le Toy Van are renowned for their line of quality children’s toys, and this Sophie’s Doll’s House is built with the same quality that one would expect from the brand.
It comes in a large and reasonably hefty boxed package containing all the necessary parts, the only tool required being a cross-head screwdriver.
A pamphlet containing a comprehensive list of all the components with the build instructions on the reverse. The instructions comprise of sequentially numbered diagrams of the individual parts (each identified by a letter) – some text help would I think have been beneficial, but with close attention the construction shouldn’t be difficult as all of the parts slot together with no need for bolts, screws, adhesive etc.
All parts except for the hinges on the front that is… These hinges should be affixed so the (supplied) screws are on the inside – this means you should ensure you have the correct hinges for the right location, as they are different for top and bottom, having the pins on opposite sides. It is also advisable to line up the two sections of front wall so they properly align in the middle before you affix the hinges, as there are no holes or any indications of where the screws are to go in. The screws will nonetheless be easy to insert into the painted MDF with just moderate force using a cross-head screwdriver.
The Test Child I utilised to get an end-user view actually enjoyed participation in the construction and found it easy to identify the pieces as I asked for them – floor, end wall, front door porch etc – simply by referencing the picture on the box. The only item that was hard to identify was a small wooden dowel that had no obvious use or placement until a fine scrutiny of the plans revealed it to be required in a small slot at the rear base of the Dollhouse.
So a leisurely 20 minutes should see the dollhouse constructed, the sturdy MDF components slot together well, with no stiffness nor any excessive looseness, making it all very stable (assuming correct placement of the hinges). A very handy aspect is that when assembled the gables double as handles,allowing the dollhouse to be carried and moved with ease by one person – It doesn’t seem to weigh anything like as much as it did when in pieces in the original box!
Having been constructed, I let my test child loose on the Dollhouse, and can report that she was delighted with it. She was particularly enchanted by the internal decor and the small individual touches in the different rooms, identifying the rooms by the various things like mirror, radiator, pets, portrait etc. The attic she could utilise like a real attic, to store away the dolls/furniture that weren’t in use in the main house. My Test Child was also much enamoured of the shutters for some reason. I must say the pastel-coloured paintwork and the finish in general are immaculate. Test Child marked the Dollhouse at 10/10
But how does a more discerning adult rate it? Well it’s a fairly simple but very well made quality toy which could easily last well enough to be passed on to a younger sibling once the original user has outgrown it. There is no denying it is on rather the pricey side at it’s current stated price of 110, but quality is always worth paying for, and if it’s within your budget I would certainly recommend it as a toy to delight for many years.
A classic doll's house with a lot of potential.
This was assembled by the family of the young recipient, and they had no trouble with that. She is very young at the moment, but with her mum’s help, she soon got the idea of placing figures into what she already recognises as a house.
As she gets older, and more accessories are purchased, I predict this will become a traditional toy to treasure, perhaps even keeping it to hand down to her own children in the future.
Daughter Won't Leave It Alone!
Since this arrived a few days ago my 5 year old simply hasn’t left it alone, even going as far as us catching her out of bed and playing with it in the middle of the night!
On arrival I was actually pretty surprised at how heavy the whole thing is, it really is a very solid unit.
There is some assembly required so you’ll need a phillips head screwdriver to secure the 4 hinges that allow the front to open and the canopy that goes over the front door.
Rather conveniently, the instructions are in black and white which makes working out which way the hinges go is almost impossible so you will need to refer to the actual box. Basically you need to work out which side is the front and make sure the heads of the screws are on the inside, not the outside. It’s not a huge issue if they are the other way round but if you do make a mistake you won’t be able to simply take them off and turn them round as the MDF it’s made of really won’t maintain it’s integrity.
Those bit’s of ‘DIY’ aside, the rest of it is simply slotting it together but you will need a second person. Not because it’s heavy or anything but simply because you have to slide all 3 floors and the front hinged sections in at once so need 4 hands to hold everything in place.
All in all it took me about 10 minutes.
The house itself is pretty big and the front opens nice and wide to allow you to get into it with no issues.
That said, the elephant in the room is going to be the price. triple figures for a few bits of painted MDF is eye watering but looking around you won’t really get anything comparable as that seems to be the benchmark figure for this sort of thing. Interestingly we went to a local shop to buy a few accessories to go in it and they actually had this exact model of house there at almost a 50% markup on what it’s listed for here.
In short, if you have the money then I can definitely recommend this and it’s nice to see such a classic wooden toy in my daughter’s collection and one that i’m sure is going to last and get plenty of years of use
Need to collect (buy) contents
This is one of the cheaper doll’s houses from the range, but you don’t get any contents. In some ways this is good, as it gives you / your child the fun of choosing and collecting, which is what doll’s houses used to be about. However, the down side is the cumulative cost of stocking the house, though you can allocate a proportion of their pocket money to buy the additions at a sensible rate.
The quality of the house is very high, and it’s a better bet than some of the secondhand one’s we’ve looked at recently. It’s also pretty quick and easy to assemble.
Once you have a couple of figures added, the discussions your child can have talking to them can sometimes be quite instructive! Should last quite a while. Well worth it.

Beautiful classic dolls house
This is a well built dolls house which will last for years. It is not the biggest but plenty space for pretend play and hours of entertainment. The quality stands out and I feel this will last for years.
My only disappointment is the lack of furniture – for the money it is a shame nothing is included making the overall cost quite high. Otherwise it’s great.
Cute doll house
The wood feels sturdy, it seems of qood quality. Entertaining for my two year old son who loves the colour pink – so imagine his joy when he got his own pink house!
Overall good
A sturdy toy. Relatively easy to put together, with less than a dozen screws. Only two sizes of screw driver needed, barely any effort to put it together. Instructions are okay, but not always clear as to which piece goes first. The pieces of the doll house slide together quite smoothly. The design relies on different parts of the house slotting into others and then being secured with pegs which are cleverly disguised as aesthetics. The finished product feels a bit loose due to the way in which the parts fit together, but doesn’t actually fall apart when moved.
My only real concern is that my toddler had no trouble pulling the house towards her and had it not been for the door being open, it likely would have fallen on her. I’m considering adding some weights to prevent this. Though for the time being placing it against a wall appears to help a little.
While at a glance the paint job looks okay, but upon closer inspection small imperfections can be found. In a few places where the outer walls have had nails used, parts of it are depressed. There was excess glue on the window and some paint too.
Overall a nice looking product, but small concerns over stability and let down by a less than stellar quality assurance check.
Le Toy Van Wooden Sophie's Doll's House
This is a beautiful, classic, dolls house. It is easy to assemble and a good size — easily large enough for more than one child to play together.
The windows, and shutters, open, as does the door. The front panels open, to reveal the two floors, with a middle stairway. There are two rooms on each side, so four rooms in all. The roof also lifts, to reveal the attic space. Apart from the ground floor, which the staircase splits in two, the space is open, but you can easily fit two furniture sets into each floor.
You can buy furniture sets, dolls, and accessories, from Le Toy, or you can use other dolls house furniture — as long as the size is similar. A classic toy which will last for generations, if cared for. Excellent quality and very attractively designed.

Assembling this was very easy just one screwdriver needed!
The roof actually opens both ways and comes off if you wanted. As you can see in the picture both partitions of the roof are sat elegantly in a little upside down heart shape so it’s very easy to slot them in and fold them either direction you wish to!
The stairs seem very well in there like they’re not loose enough to just fall out which I’ve had issues with before in dollhouses.
The colours are so bright, beautiful and vibrant, each room really catches your eye!
Under the base of the doll house is a little cork almost which stops the tiers of the house from moving or sliding so the house seems extremely sturdy. Even our cat has had a good look in it and a climb so I know it bares weight!
I cannot wait to get the different sets of furniture now the girls cannot get enough of this already, were using old furniture atm but le toy van seem to have all their items down to a tee with creativity, sturdiness and bright colours, the kids play for hours!
A house that will still be standing in 100 years
This is a monster of a dollhouse. Assembly is clever and inventive, but it did take about an hour after deciphering the pictorial instructions. There were parts that confused me; there aren’t any holes for the 4 hinges you have to screw into place in order for the front of the house to swing completely open, plus there are random screws already inserted and visibly show when construction is complete. It does look like this house has already been assembled then disassembled; there are scuff marks around the slot holes and screw holes; to a degree in some places tiny areas of the interior stencil have scraped off.
That aside, this is a roomy, very well made and highly detailed doll house. It is just so pretty; particularly the outside with its cute little shutters and window baskets. Construct it were you want to display it though as it is very heavy even when empty; never mind before you start filling up all the floors.
Lots of play value, but mind the roof!
As soon as this arrived I wanted to put it together. It’s in a large box weighing around 12 kilos and is made from all wood. It’s very charming. The walls are decorated and there are 2 floors – 3 if you count the roof space. It was easy to assemble. Apart from just a few screws, it mostly slots together. Being solid wood it is quite heavy and you might like to have someone to support it but it’s manageable.
I can see this has a lot of play value and room for a lot of imagination.
It is very sturdy but there were a couple of things that bothered me.
The staircase was loose in its slots. I felt that could have been more secure.
My main concern and my reason for only 4 stars is that despite being well made and well finished, the roof is very loose. The two pieces can be lifted off, which is fine but I can see fingers getting squashed if it falls down. The wood is heavy. A better way of securing the roof would earn this 5 stars all the way!
A traditional favourite
I remember my sister playing with her doll’s house when she was growing up and seeing my own daughter playing with this doll house does bring a nostalgic glow. The quality of the house is exquisite and in a quaint way quite old fashioned. It does encourage play time and does look quite classy in a sea of plastic of her other toys. I hope my daughter won’t let me down as she has been asking for a doll’s house for a while and this is by far the best I’ve seen regarding price and quality – my problem that in a world of computers, streaming and 24 hr cartoons that a toy like this could be left in the past. Beautiful toy but will this generation of children enjoy it? Well worth investigating…

Nun zur Sachlage: Das Haus war vom Preis her super, die Ware ist schnell und sauber verpackt hier gewesen. Vor Weihnachten bestellt, was den Lieferdienst wohl dazu bewegt hat, noch rabiater mit fliegenden Kisten umzugehen. Nachdem ich der Familie B. den Defekt gemeldet hatte, wurde es einmalig gut. Sofort hat Sie mir Ersatz aus England angeboten, mir alle Unterlagen zur Auswahl der defekten Teile zukommen lassen, sich stark gemacht das die Ware, als Geschenk zu Weihnachten noch heute, eben gerade, bei uns angekommen ist.
Unsere Familie, wrde jederzeit wieder dort kaufen, mich persnlich erinnert es an tolle Ebay Zeiten vor fnfzehn Jahren. Der Beste Kauf in diesem, nein in den letzten Jahren.

Nous avons choisi cette maison car c’est la pus grande de cette marque et nous souhaitons que notre fille y joue avec ses amis sans avoir se contorsionner (2 enfants peuvent jouer cte cte tant donn la largeur).
Elle est tres grande mais nous nous sommes dits qu’au final une maison moins haute aurait occup autant de place au sol, donc nous n’avons pas hsit.
Concentrant la qualit du bois a a l’air pas mal, je me demande juste quel type de peinture est utilise (il faudra que je cherche cela sur internet).

Nachdem meine Tochter die Biegepuppen von Le Toy Van wesentlich hbscher fand als die Lundby-Familie,
sind wir umgeschwenkt und haben statt des geplanten Lundby-Hauses nun das Cherry Tree Hall House bestellt.
Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschn, toll verarbeitet und in dezenten FArben gehalten, so dass es hoffentlich auch noch in ein
paar Jahren gemocht wird. Das Zusammenstecken geht sehr einfach und das ganze Haus macht einen sehr
stabilen, wertigen Eindruck. Toll finden wir, dass es sich aufgrund der Tren komplett verschlieen last, und
bei Nichtgebrauch ein wenig wie eine Kommode aussieht 😉
Ich bin gespannt, wie meine Tochter reagiert, wenn sie das Haus zum 5. Geburtstag bekommt. Sie ist ja ein
wenig lter als die eigentliche Zielgruppe (ab 3 Jahren) und ich finde die Le Toy Van Mbel zwar ebenfalls
wunderschn, aber doch ein wenig ‘klobig’.

lovely quality house look beautiful. I bought it for my 3 year old twins birthday and they love it. you do need to take the chimney pots off to push the roof back and when they do one of the roof windows falls off which is a bit annoying but overall very pleased.

Ein schnes Haus in dem Preissegment. Es wirkt durchdacht und stabil obwohl es nur zusammengesteckt ist. Leider hatte meins ein, zwei Schadstellen in der Lackierung und der Trrahmen war gebrochen bei Lieferung, was wir jedoch geleimt haben. Man braucht definitiv mindestens zwei Leute zum Aufstellen, drei sind aber besser, je nach Talent und bung. Puppen und Mbel muss man extra erwerben.
What a surprise…the toy is just adorable. Exactly what I was looking for. Prior to buying it I did an in-depth research trying to acquire the the perfect gift for my 2 year old daughter’s B-day . I had on my list: KidKraft / Melissa & Dug / Plan Toy and Hope dollhouses…this was by far the best choice!
This is a sturdy, good quality product that is robust to withstand my enthusiastic three year old who loves playing with it. It arrived flat packed in a very heavy box. My husband assembled it without problems but it would probably have taken me more effort. I had thought that we might move it around so our daughter could play with it wherever was convenient at the time but it is not really portable as it’s so large so it stays in her bedroom. She makes up endless stories for the characters she introduces to it but seems often to pull out the furniture etc and use it on the floor rather than the rooms themselves which I suspect is just because it’s easier for her at the moment. I am sure that the house will “grow with her” and I plan to introduce new items over time to keep it new and interesting.

The build quality was excellent and the size of the house is perfectly appropriate for a little girl to play with. The fact that it is wooden adds a lot of character and it feels like it will last forever.
The assembly was extremely easy.

Dieses Puppenhaus ist wunderschn, sehr liebe- und detailvoll gestaltet und von sehr guter Qualitt. Es ist wunderbar lackiert und bemalt. Fenster und Tren kann man ffnen, was den Spiel- und Spafaktor erheblich erhht. Es ist gro genug, dass mind. 2 Kinder prima davor sitzen und das Haus bespielen knnen, ohne dass sich der Platz streitig gemacht werden muss.
Ich kann es nur empfehlen, bei meinen Kindern von fast 3 und 6 Jahren ist das Haus sehr gut angekommen.

Wir haben dazu die Puppenhausmbel von le toy van gekauft – wunderschn!!! Also unsere Tochter ist begeistert und jedes Kind, das zu ihr kommt, setzt sich sofort vor das Huschen uns spielt. Selbst ich, die Mama, spiele sehr gerne mit!
This is a perfect sized doll house for a young child. In addition is is quite sturdy which is surprizing when it just “clicks” together during assembly. It does not take more than 5-10mins to assemble and can be done by one person. The instructions are quite straight forward. The colors are pretty and unlike some other doll houses this does come with furniture. A couple of pieces of furniture needed a little glue but nothing serious. It is wooden which gives it more charm than the typical plastic houses. This is intended to be a gift to a toddler who I think will be fine with this piece. The size is perfect for animal families like calico critters or Olivia the Pig Mini Figures. Overall a great doll house that is not the generic type seen in most stores. Four stars just because of the furniture issue.

We bought this for our two year old after returning the ginormous Kidcraft atrocity. This house is DARLING! She loves to move the people up the stairs and play in the different rooms. I love that the roof can be set at different angles, or come off completely. This house is exactly the right size, the colors are very subtle, and it looks great in her room. It stores nicely on a night stand when she is not playing. I did quite a bit of looking before deciding on this one, I am so glad we got it. It is better than the PB Westing house (size and price) and way better quality than most that I looked at. Easy peasy to put together I assembled it with the help of my 4 yr. old in about 25 minutes). We bought the Ryan’s room people to go in it, and HearthSong furniture. I don’t write reviews very often, but I was really satisfied and wanted to share 🙂

Great dolls house
This product is great. It was easy to assemble and is strong and well-made. My 3 year old daughter loves it, she particularly likes the opening windows. It is an attractive house, and the internal decoration is good with plenty of detail. The roof lifts up to allow the space to be used as an attic room, though there is no staircase up, which I think is a bit of a shame. All in all a very good toy.
Bought this dollhouse for my three yr old daughter for Christmas. She LOVED the calico critters in the store but I wasn’t thrilled with the actual animal house. The calico critters houses seem really small and difficult for children to move the animals and accessories around. So I looked for a better house option – this far exceeded my expectations. The house was really easy to assemble – took my husband and I about 20 minutes. The quality is top notch – colors great, decor inside the house adorable, staircase (crucial for my daughter). I used the calico critters furniture and it fits great. The only other thing I would want for this house that isn’t available would be room dividers. The downstairs and upstairs are all one space – but the staircase in the middle does divide the two. Overall we love it – my daughter plays with it constantly, my one year old even likes it and hasn’t destroyed it yet!!! Also, I like the fact that the house closes and all of the dollhouse accessory chaos inside is out of view!
Easy to assemble, and it is of such good quality. It’s sturdy, not wobbly because it’s all wood, not like other doll houses that have cardboard parts.
The details are adorable, the shutters, the front door etc. We have it in the family room, my 3 year old daughter loves it, she plays with it all the time, and at the end of the day we just close it and it looks beautiful.
If you order the Le Toy Van Furniture, it’s just amazing the detail that they put into it! And each furniture set comes w/sooooo much.

What a delightful doll's house
We are thrilled with the quality of this doll’s house. It was so easy to assemble and we know that the amount of fun and learning that will occur will be tremendous.
I have bought this dolls house for my daughters 3rd birthday. I saw it in a small shop on holiday months ago and fell in love with it and was thrilled to find it cheaper on line. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice and I don’t know if I would have bought it based on those. It is beautifully painted and has the most adorable painted furniture to fill the rooms down to toys to put in it. My husband did quite fairly ask if I was regressing and had in fact bought it for myself!The only thing not supplied are the dolls but those are readily available and you certainly won’t need to buy further furniture.

The whole family clubbed together and bought this dolls house for my 3 year old daughter last Christmas along with the Rosebud kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and children’s bedroom – although it was expensive – it has been worth every penny, as she’s played with it every day since. The adventures her dolls house family have in the dolls house know no bounds (even the playmobil people come over for sleep-overs).
Despite being played with every day, it still looks immaculate – both the house and furniture are robust enough to cope with her and her friends playing with. Everyone who sees it admires it – it acts like a magnet to any little girl (and their mum) who enters our living room.
I bought this for my nieces 3rd birthday & she loves it….must admit lots of adults are keen to play along too! I saw a different version of a Le Toy Van dolls house at a local store, did some research & found Amazon to be much cheaper. The house was simple to assemble, only a few screws, the rest slots in & holds each piece in place.
Looks very nice & pretty in a corner of a room as a piece of furniture.
I also purchased the nursery set & rosebud dining room set. We did plan to buy more for christmas etc – however we found that we had plenty of items to fill the house with these two sets. My niece chats away to herself whilst playing for hours, her imagination continues to thrive. We will definately be buying additional items like the caravan / car / garden set.
Bought this for my 4-year old daughter’s Christmas pressie.I found bits of the instructions a bit light on detail but when it was put together it looked fantastic, and seems very durable.
A beautiful dolls house which was really easy to put together. I have searched for a dolls house for my young grand- daughter and found this to be great value for money. It is very pleasing to look at, has easy access and feels very solid and durable. I am sure she will have many hours of pleasure with it.
