quick delivery and easy to install
I installed the unit 4 weeks ago. It’s too early to tell whether it’s working as claimed but I will update later.
I’ve been struggling with hard water in my flat for almost 20 years. As part of an overhaul of my pipework I thought I’d try this out and I must say I am impressed. The unit itself is easy to install as long as you have an electric socket nearby, though I wish the wires were a bit stiffer so they wouldn’t have a tendency to unravel from the pipe.
As for performance, whilst they do not chemically neutralise/remove the scale, they do transform it. Where previously scale would stick to everything it touched unless I wiped things dry immediately, now it can be left to dry and still wipes off with a single pass of a tea towel.
There has been a definite change in the way scale behaves in the few weeks since I installed this device so I highly recommend it, especially at this price point, where other solutions cost hundreds more!
Easy to fit - Does the job
I was wary about if this really did work as Im use to the normal water softener units to solve chalk issues. To be honest, it really has worked and I now dont get that chalky residue in the sinks and end of the taps. Really easy to fit if you follow the instructions . Would recommend to anyone .

This brilliant. it will take up to 2 weeks to notice any difference in the water but what a difference it makes. my hair and skin are softer and the water tastes so much better. Recommend this to anyone living in hard water areas.

Easy to install and has made a really big diferance to the time spent on removing limescale buildup, i live in a very hard water area and the limescale buildup on my spray tap fillters has dropped to almost nothing , from cleaning a shower head every other week to not having to do it at all in two months.

I have 2 water inlets to my property, so I had to purchase 2 little plumbers. One is fully installed. Im waiting for an electrician to complete installation of the 2nd one. Time will tell if they live up to their claim! I hope they will as my water is very hard!

Why didn't I find this earlie
I moved from a soft water area to a hard water area and it’s been an issue for me since I moved. I’ve always intended to buy a water softener, but was reluctant because of price and space. Several of my friends complained their water tasted salty because of their softeners, so they were still using filters. Then I found this and I wish I’d found it earlier. The longest part of fitting was pulling out the washing machine. The very next day, my shower gel started to foam up and my hair has gone back to tangle-free with no need for straighteners. LP1 package arrived promptly and in what looked like a DIY packaging kit, someone mentioned before it looked like it came from poundland and that’s a good description, however, the proof is entirely in the performance so we wait in anticipation and hope. The first thing we find strange and can’t quite understand is the mains cable far from being the 2mtrs long as described was only just 1.3mtrs long and as our only socket is just under 2mtrs away presented a problem which has required the use of a extension lead, not a good start. The rest of the installation went quite straightforwardly and before long everything was working as described but only time will tell if this 116-50 is well spent or a waste of time and returned. More to follow in due course….

Really works! - even impressed the plumber!
I have 3 of these installed, one on the stop tap, one on the boiler and the third on the water tank.
Recently I had a plumber round to replace the immersion element as it eventually expired. The plumber couldn’t believe how clean the element was. There was hardly any limescale deposits on it. It looked practically new. Not bad for being submerged in water for over 20 years. On this basis I’m going to buy another for my parents.

What a fantastic product. I bought this for my mum and dad as they live in a hard water area and their taps were scaled and kettles kept getting really scaled up. It was really easy to install and within days the shower head was clearing up, the taps were clearing up and so was the kettle. This is just with one little plumber on the cold mains in. I will fit another on the hot water side as they have a cold storage tank. Very impressed and would recommend.
