Shoe sizes are not standardized. Every shoe manufacturer uses different measurements in terms of instep height, toe shape and foot width. However, the basis for your own shoe size is always the length of your feet. Thus, you should always determine your foot length before buying in order to choose the right shoe.

Super comode ma per terreni lisci
Sono scarpe “pantofola”, all’interno delle quali il piede sta comodissimo. Come sempre con scarpe non italiane o diciamo sneakers, io acquisto un numero in pi e con Merrel sempre meglio abbondare. La qualit della pelle, delle rifiniture e del colore incontestabile. Unico difetto direi scontato, la suola sottile: su terreni o sanpietrini o sassi ti fa avvertire tutto e di conseguenza il piede non molto isolato. La mia valutazione positiva e le consiglio a chi voglia una scarpa leggerissima, morbida e comoda
Muy cómodas
Zapatillas minimalista muy cmoda. Al ser de cuero vacuno protege contra el frio y el pie transpira. Resiste una breve lluvia repentina sin mojarte los pies y una vez se seca la parte exterior vuelve a su estado anterior, no quedan marcas. La suela es fina 6,5mm pero Resistente, sientes las imperfecciones del suelo sin daarte la planta de los pies. El ancho es perfecto para permitir total movilidad de los dedos.

Ist mein erster Barfusschuhe! Hab deshalb einen mit kleiner Sohle gewhlt. Luft sich sehr gut, auch noch nach dem ganzen Tag! Sieht nicht ganz so sportlich aus, so dass sie auch zu einer Stoffhose gut getragen werden knnen.

Je cherchais des chaussures minimalistes de type “barefoot” pour le quotidien.
Celles-ci sont parfaitement adaptes, je les trouve simples et jolies pour des chaussures minimalistes.
La semelle est en caoutchouc trs souple et surtout drop 0 et le dessus en cuir avec un touch velour.
Les chaussures sont incroyablement lgres et confortables.
Il s’agit de mes premieres chaussures de ce type, il faut un petit temps d’adaptation afin de s’habituer aux nouvelles sensations (prs du sol o on ressent chaque relief) mais je ne pourrai plus remettre des chaussures classiques.
Possibilit de les mettre avec ou sans chaussette.
Une chose que je pourrai lui reprocher, est de ne pas avoir de lacets lgrement lastiques pour plus de confort.
Je ne peux que vous les recommande

Sehr formschner Schuh, nicht so unfrmig wie viele andere Barfuschuhe. ber die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, habe sie erst vorgestern meinem Mann geschenkt. Ihm ist bisher nur aufgefallen dass die Zunge recht hart ist und beim Barfutragen reibt. Daher der Stern Abzug.

Super impressed that it fits my freaky wide feet perfectly straight out of the box and is exactly the right length. Great quality flat-soled shoe. It’s a little bit like a climbing shoe but flexible & comfy with lots of toe room.
Conclusion: Be careful of the US/UK size conversions. If in doubt go a UK size up.

Absolutely a great pair of shoes. If you are not used to walking in minimalist shoes, notice that it takes a couple of weeks to get used to it. These shoes are very comfortable and well worth the price. In my humble opinion definitely the best version of the merrell vapor line.

Very nice 'barefoot' shoes
The shoes are a roomy fit but can be adjusted tighter. Nice, thin soles, soft insides, no raised heel or arch padding. The free delivery was very quick.

Sono un cultore delle scarpe barefoot da un po’, e ne ho diverse paia da diversi brand (Vibram fivefingers, Vivobarefoot, Camper…). Queste non tradiscono le aspettative. Sono molto comode e resistenti, la sensazione decisamente barefoot, ma al contempo si percepisce una sensazione di sicurezza e protezione della pianta del piede. Consigliatissime a chi ama questo tipo di scarpe!

El mejor zapato que he tenido nunca
Tan cmodo como tu propio pie. Lo he probado ya en varios terrenos y estoy contentsimo. Incluso agarran en suelo pedregoso mejor que un zapato deportivo convencional, no lo esperaba al decir que eran de interior. Ojal me duren mucho.

For some reason Merrell have seen fit to make many of the barefoot shoes with thicker soles and less flexibility and ground feel – this detracts from the whole point of the shoes. I have several pairs of the original Trail gloves which are all at the point of wearing out I wear them for running but also as my casual footwear for 99% of the time and was despairing of getting replacements. I have bought Vapor Glove 4’s and Trail Glove 4’s and find them both too far from the barefoot ideal. These Luna Vapor Glove 3s are great and I’ll wear them for casual. It remains to be seen whether they are suitable for running as the leather I think may prove to hot. I don’t understand why Merrell can’t produce a fabric mesh version of this shoe as well.

Good shoes. Good fit, but running on a slightly smaller side. They may feel too small if wearing thick socks maybe a half size larger would be better.
I’ve worn thin shoes before and my feet have to get use to feeling the ground again, which is fun.

il primo approccio ad una scarpa Barefoot, una sensazione veramente differente ma non fastidiosa. Voglio provarle a fondo anche su percorsi pi accidentati di un semplice sterrato ma fin’ora per le passeggiate sono state un’acquisto azzeccatissimo

Great shoe. Thought it was snug at first, but they’ve fit to my big square Fred Flintsone feet quickly. I wear them as casual shoes, just for knocking about in. I don’t like wasting shoes with thick shoes, as my ankle ligaments are as weak as wet spaghetti and I could adoration my ankles at any time. These are ace though. I also have a pair of Sundried barefoot shoes for running in and the gym.

Not just for men, bought for my wife who loves them
Brilliant, super comfy shoes. My wife was looking for barefoot type shoes, and these were much cheaper than other more well known brands. Unsure why they say for men though, they seem identical to the ones labelled for women except maybe slightly darker in colour. My wife chose these and has been very happy with them. They do feel a little strange at forst as theyre so roomy on the feet, but you get used to it. You can’t feel every single sharp stone, but you do get increased sensation, more space for your toes. No internal support which is exactly why she chose these. One review said the sewn in tongue was bothering them at the toe end, but my wife said it’s not an issue for her.

Vibram sole is a hero. The suede is a bit of a sticking point in that theres a bit of maintenance, but we all know that, and it really isnt that bad.
I always go a half size up when wearing merrell however the suede stretched over time so perhaps i didnt need to.. still fits like a …. glove.

Barefoot first timer.
It’s my first barefoot shoe, so I’m unable to compare to others – however it is as expected, nice wide toe, flexible sole. Surprisingly comfortable across most terrain with the exception of large stoney paths which you have to choose foot placement carefully. However it’s a good barefoot experience.

A new and happy experience in footwear.
I have found these to be a revelation. They are super comfortable and surprisingly robust for such a light shoe. It is like walking with bare feet and my feet feel like they are getting a holiday in them. I love them. The sizing is consistent with other Merrell shoes – I always go up a half size on other brands.
This is the best experiment in shoes for me ever.

Trs agrablement surpris par la finition cuir de l’extrieur. Ce modle se marie parfaitement un style sportif ou plus “casual”. Et le confort barefoot de merrell est videmment au rendez-vous, ingal par mes tentatives auprs d’autres marques

Great shoes, good fit, and seem durable. They offer great grip and seem to be quite dry in the wet.

I use vibrams for running, but wanted to zero drop shoes for casual wear and dog walking. I go barefoot around the house, but these are so comfortable that I forget they’re on. Lots of space for the toes too.

Camminare in citt e diventata tutta una nuova esperienza!
Il piede si distribuisce comodamente all’interno della scarpa lasciando possibilit all’interno arco plantare di distendersi e muoversi a sua discrezione pur rimanendo saldamente legato alla scarpa che, come da modello, calza come un guanto.
La suola fina e morbida segue il movimento del piede e lascia la possibilit di entrare a contatto con la superficie su cui stiamo camminando.
Cresciuto e acclimatato a scarpe con suola spessa e tacco ammortizzato con queste scarpe ho subito sentito quanto gravemente e stupidamente scaricavo troppo peso sul tallone e poco ne distribuivo sul movimento punta-tacco (con conseguenza di un piccolo affaticamento su ginocchia e talloni per i primi giorni).
Sono scarpe che faranno dar voce ai vostri piedi, e questi vi diranno: guarda e dove e come cammini!
Ottime per chi vuole vivere con i piedi per terra, non raccomandate per chi va girando con la testa tra le nuvole.
Avoid if you have great toe curl - Banana hallux
I have banana hallux of my right big toe due to mild, but unrelenting gout since I was 22. This means that my toe turns up at the end.
These shoes fit like a dream… except my toenail of the right great toe hit the edge of the rubber. I’d have ended up with nail trauma. So incredibly disappointing. I guess having that toe guard is good for runners, but for this woman who needs shoes that don’t have stitching across the sesamoid joint and who needs zero drop with a decent amount of sole due to Morton’s neuroma, having that bit of rubber puts one more pair of shoes outside my reach.
Heartbroken because without that huge chunk of rubber, these shoes would be perfect for my feet.
Anyone know the difference in the insole length b/w the 7 and 8?
Sure wish they had a 7.5 because I might have been able to get away with that.
… Anyone have any suggestions on similarly constructed shoes without the massive toe rubber I might try?

Me parecen unas zapatillas minimalistas espectaculares. Me costaron 79 euros. Una vez que te acostumbras a este tipo de calzado ya no puedes llevar otro, te sientes torpe con los drop y los dedos cerrados. Con estas en cambio es libertad total, agilidad extrema y propiocepcin. En cuanto a la talla med mi pie, 26.5 y ped la talla de 27 cm. Y creo q tena q haber pedido la que peda mi pie, talla 42 y 26.5 cm. Uso muchsimo las Saguaro de Amazon sin plantilla, q es pura minimalista y las sensaciones con estas son de mas proteccin y super estticas.

Merrell ist eine der sehr wenigen Schuhmarken, die Barfussschuhe in der Gre 50 anbietet, daher kaufen wir seit Jahren dort Schuhe ein und sind sehr zufrieden. Doch diese Schuhe bertrafen noch unsere Erwartungen. Durch das Material wirken sie extrem hochwertig und sind nach Aussagen meines Mannes seeehr bequem.

I’ve had Merrell Trail Gloves and Vapour Gloves for years. My feet groan whenever I put on any non-barefoot style shoes which I occasionally have to. So when I got these I was overjoyed because I can now wear barefoot style shoes when I want to be a bit smarter than just wearing regular trainers. These are the same fit and shape as regular Vapour Gloves so the good news is you can just buy your normal size. These fit me great and they look superb. However one of the shoes makes a funny snapping sound as the leather flexes. I’m hoping this will get better as the leather ages and softens. But my main problem is that left and right shoes are not quite the same, which I am annoyed about… almost enough to send them back. The rubber bumper on the front which wraps over the top does not come quite as far back on the left shoe and my big toenail just falls short of it. So the shoes feel different to one another when walking. So not 100% happy. Hence 3 stars.
Edit: The snapping sound did disappear as the shoes aged and the left and right now at least feel the same and I am so glad I kept then. I originally got navy blue but I also got a pair of dusty olive. The leather on the dusty olive seemed a bit softer and there was no wearing in required. Also, no discernable difference between left and right, so better in that respect also.
I intend to buy more of these shoes before they go out of production. A lot of people say that the Vapour Glove 3 are one of the best barefoot shoes Merrell have ever made and only the durability of the uppers let them down. So, the luna (leather upper) version fixes that. OK, they’re not as breathable as a mesh upper, but for everyday use and running on cooler days they are amazing.

Fantastiche barefoot ma occhio al numero e alle macchie
Belle e di ottima fattura, perfette per chi cerca la sensazione “barefoot”. Attenzione per: Merrell indica valori di lunghezza per i numeri che non corretta (troppo abbondante), rispetto al size chart Merrell andate decisamente al numero sotto di quello che avete individuato. Noi avevamo scelto un 42 in base al size chart e abbiamo fatto subito il cambio con un 41 (che va bene per chi ha pianta di 26 cm). Occhio anche alla pelle della scarpa che non sembra trattata con idrorepellenti e si macchia facilmente. Nel complesso pi che soddisfatti.

OK, forma anatomica comoda per me
Finalmente una scarpa che ha una forma della punta come piace a me, e che segue la forma naturale del mio piede, senza comprimere o premere lateralmente le mie dita. Il mio alluce ed il quinto dito sono comodi con queste scarpe. Mi piacerebbe trovare altri modelli che abbiano questa forma a mio avviso corretta, ma purtroppo sono una rarita’.

As a fan of barefoot shoes I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced alternative for my usual brand. These have arrived and I’m impressed. Build quality seems rugged enough. They don’t squeak when I walk and they are very comfortable. They also look pretty good and are almost half the price I normally pay. Merrell with Vibram soles an awesome combination.

As a fan of barefoot shoes I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced alternative for my usual brand. These have arrived and I’m impressed. Build quality seems rugged enough. They don’t squeak when I walk and they are very comfortable. They also look pretty good and are almost half the price I normally pay. Merrell with Vibram soles an awesome combination.

Das erste Gefhl war, dass ich das erste Mal gerade bin und nicht mehr so nach vorne geneigt, nach vorne falle und renne. Ich bin pltzlich ganz entspannt und gehe wie Jorge Gonzalez, privat.

Eine Nummer größer nehme
Ich habe den Schuh zuerst in meiner normalen Gre (44) bestellt, jedoch war es schon recht knapp und die Barfu-Freiheit war nicht gegeben. Ich empfehle daher, eine Nummer grer zu bestellen.
Ansonsten kann ich den Schuh nach 3 Monaten sehr empfehlen! Er trgt sich wirklich sehr angenehm und bietet ein tolles Laufgefhl. Zudem sieht er auch durchaus alltagstauglich aus, was mir wichtig war.

Other than that, this shoe is well made and fits true to size. I would measure the foot rather than going by UK size numbers.

Es ist inzwischen mein 4.Barfuschuh von Merrell.
Von Merrell bekommt man mit etwas Geduld immer mal einen TOP-Preis.
So auch hier.
Meine bisherigen Modelle haben alle berdurchschnittlich Lange gehalten.
Eigentlich so lange bis die Sohle wirklich “durch” war.
Dieser ist gedacht fr den Alltag im Bro.
Passform entspricht der normalen Schuhgre und ja, er fllt wie in Beschreibung zu lesen, schmal aus.
Grau (slate) ist (zum Glck) nicht wirklich Grau, ich habe hier in den Beschreibungen vor meiner Bestellung irgendwo Taubenblau gelesen.
Das trifft es ganz gut, schon etwas dunkleres Taubenblau.
Grau htte ich auch nicht gewollt.

Zwei Fragen htte ich allerdings, ich habe noch zum einen nicht so wirklich heraus gefunden ob das “echtes” Leder ist.
Auf der Herstellerseite steht “Vollleder”. Edit: Wo anders habe ich noch Nubuk Leder gefunden. Scheint Echtleder zu sein.
Zum anderen soll/ kann man imprgnieren?
Fazit: Geiler Schuh zum geilen Preis.
Eigentlich ein sehr guter Schuh, hat aber ein paar schwchen.
1. Am rechten schuh kann ich kleber reste am Zehschutz vorne sehen. sehe nur ich, find ich bei dem preis trotzdem nicht sonderlich toll.
2. die Sohle ist fr nen Barfu schuh schon relativ dick was ich mit gemischten gefhlen sehe. hlt dafr aber vermutlich auch lnger.
3. Schnrsenkel sind zu kurz. ne schleife krieg ich da nicht rein wenn mein fuss drin steckt.

I find it hard to wear conventional shoes again as I like to be able to move my toes! Our feet are our sensors and all our other joints are affected by how our feet move. Barefoot shoes can also correct fallen arches and plantar fasciitis

Ich habe die Schuhe eine Nummer Grer gewhlt wegen dem Preis! Sie passen sehr gut/ perfekter Sitz an der Ferse+ beim Laufen!

Ich habe weniger Knieschmerzen und es macht einfach Spa mit den Schuhen ber jegliches Gelnde zu laufen!

Habe sie gleich nach der Lieferung mit in den Griechenlandurlub genommen und auf Herz und Nieren getestet.
Nach 6 Monaten noch zufrieden.
Richtig angenehme Schuhe, ich nehm sie zum laufen im Fitnesscenter am laufband, sowie im acrobatischen Bereich, perfekt fr handstand da sie luftig leicht sind und die Balance nicht stren, richtig starker grip am Boden fr saltos etc, sie sind perfekt fr mich, gerne wieder, man merkt sie kaum
Einziger Nachteil falls man sie drauen nutzt: sie wrmen nicht wirklich, aber wen das nicht strt: klare Kaufempfehlung

Ich habe den Schuh nicht fr Sport, sondern fr den Alltag gekauft. Ich habe akute Probleme mit der Sehne im Bereich des Fussgewlbes an der mittleren Fussinnenseite. Gerade die Schuhe mit eigentlich gutem Fussbett und der typischen Sttzung des Fussgewlbes bereiten mir Probleme. Ich habe fr mich herausgefunden, dass mir Barfuss-Schuhe in dieser Situation helfen und mir daher fr den Alltag den Vapor Glove 3 in der Lederversion bestellt.
Da es gerade besser verfgbar/gnstiger war und mir die Farbe (slate) gefllt, habe ich das Herrenmodell in meiner blichen Gre (40) bestellt. Der Schuh ist aus feinem, weichen Leder, das an der Innenseite zum Teil mit Stoff gefttert ist. Er sitzt mit sehr gut und lsst sich mit und ohne Socken gut tragen. Im Mittelfussbereich lsst er sich durch die Schnrung in Verbindung mit dem weichen Material exakt an die bentigten Weite anpassen, die Ferse sitzt gut und im Vorderfussbereich haben die Zehen viel Platz. Die Sohle trifft fr mich gut den idealen Punkt zwischen dnn und flexibel einerseits – man sprt ziemlich genau den Untergrund, auf dem man sich bewegt – und (minimaler) Dmpfung und Schutz der Fusssohle andererseits. Ich habe ihn mittlerweile mindestens 5 Tage ganztgig getragen und mit bin sehr zufrieden.
Verkufer war in meinem Fall Amazon, so dass ich zu anderen Verkufern nichts sagen kann. Ebenso kann ich noch nichts zur Langzeithaltbarkeit sagen.

These minimal or barefoot shoes help to correct and maintain the biomechanics of the foot, damaged by fashion footwear. These shoes look formalish enough to be worn in the office in absence of formal events.
The sizing is correct by the UK scale, the width is adjustable in a broad range.

very light slim great to wear shoes
Great barefoot shoes, super light and comfortable. When you walk in cities all day on hard surfaces – concrete etc your feet will feel it and can become sore or tired. When you walk a lot in woods or beach they are amazing because you can feel everything through that slim vibram shoe sloe.

Minimal kleiner als erwarte
Sehr guter Barfu-Schuh. Die Optik ist etwas weniger “casual”, als man aufgrund der Bilder denken wird, da die hochgezogene Sohle doch auffllt. Tragegefhl ist fantastisch, allerdings sollte man bei der Bestellung eine halbe Gre draufpacken. Barfuschuhe brauchen etwas Luft zum Laufen und bei mir war hierfr die Standardgre etwas zu klein.
Es como ir descalzo. Es un zapato de gran calidad pero hay que estar entrenado para llevarlo.

Es un calzado minimalista, y hay que estar entrenado para llevarlo y que te guste se rollo. Por lo dems es una zapatilla de una calidad altsima, muy original y muy bonita.
Pero abstenerse quien no sepa que es un calzado especializado y no se deje llevar por la esttica como me pas a m.

I prodotti Merrell di questa categoria sono veramente eccellenti! praticamente un guanto per il piede, grande qualit nella produzione e resistenza complessiva per l’uso quotidiano. Sono cos comodi che viene spontaneamente da chiedersi perch le altre non siano cos!
Toller Barfußschuh
Der Merrell Vapor Glove Luna ist ein wirklich guter Barfuschuh. Null Sprengung, breite Zehenbox, super leicht aus schnem, butterweichen Leder. Die Paform ist grengerecht, allerdings habe ich das Herrenmodell gewhlt, weil das fr etwas breitere Fe passender sein soll. Er sitzt auch tatschlich sehr bequem. Die dnne flexible Vibramsohle vermittelt einen tollen Bodenkontakt. Auch Preis/Leistung stimmt!
Weil ich so berzeugt bin, bestelle ich ihn gleich in einer anderen Farbe und Gre fr meine Tochter. Da diese schmale Fe hat, whle ich fr Sie allerdings ein Damenmodell aus.
