Good buy can be noisey
I have 3 if these gates. Great for wide stairs. 1 of the 3 is noisey when pulling in and out which is a pain when sneaking out if a babys room. Wish i had noticed it more before the sellers return window had expired (1month)

Not for stairs! Great product for blocking of one are of the house but no way near safe enough to trust a baby near on stairs. Use elsewhere

I found it a bit difficult to assemble in place due to the restricted space on the landing at the top of the stairs, but once in place it worked well and still does. It is intended to keep a puppy safe from falling and it does that fine.

Really easy to install. We use ours at the bottom of the stairs to stop dogs going up. Works best with the lock on otherwise the small one can crawl under. Can open with one hand. Much easier than the metal gate and doesn’t trash your walls.

Not to sure about installing as my partner did that only took about 30 minutes , looks great we needed something to keep the dog out the living room and the baby in and it does the job pretty well our opening is 175cm so a pretty large doorway this fits perfectly

I live in a house with an exceptionally wide staircase, (big enough for a stair lift and to be able to walk beside it) so even wide stair gates found on Argos etc weren’t big enough. This one is big enough and then some, it would stretch really big if I wanted it to I think.

Bought for my 87 year old nan. Who uses child gate for dogs. I was worried she would trip over the standard gates. But wanted something that meant she didn’t need to bend down to unhook or step over. This is prefect. Really happy with purchase.

First thing is how easy it was to install, the templates that came with the stair gate were very helpful and made it very easy not to mess it up.
The stair gate itself is very easy to use and doesn’t look out of place, it’s neat and tidy and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Actually a lot “safer” than I’d imagined. Easy to install (if you can wield a drill) and good instructions, with drilling template.

Purchased to use for a puppy. Have used attachments at bottom of stairs and into utility room. Really pleased with product and like the fact that when not needed it’s retractable out the way. Haven’t put it to the test with puppy yet but hopeful it will keep him out of places we don’t want him to go. Excellent customer care, very quick response to small issue. Would definitely recommend.

I found the installation a little confusing as there were so many parts and most of them I didn’t need, however some people may. I have a stair case on a corner so installation again was a little more complicated as it needed to go on the first step at an angle. The stretch is great, but the dogs within 1 day had worked out that they could go underneath it. This not the product fault, just very clever dogs.

This gate is good quality and in some ways better that the metal baby gates you can buy. It basically takes up less space because it retracts into a roll. It’s not as robust as the alternative and won’t act as much of a barrier against a determined two year old.
I did some research before purchasing because I needed it to retract from the opposite side. I spotted some photos that indicated it could be swapped around. However on receiving the product I soon discovered it is not possible to have the gate open and close from the other side.
Die Absperrung erfllt soweit ihren Zweck und das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis passt auch. Montagematerial ist inkl. Dbel und Schrauben inkl. Einem extra Satz Schrauben fr Befestigung in/an Holz dabei. Auch die Bohrschablonen passen perfekt. Einzig die Maangaben online ist bei rtlichen Grenzwerten mit Vorsicht zu genieen. Hhe Gitter, Hhe Gesamt und dann aber ohne Hinweis die Hhe Abstand vom Boden” bei der Montage. Da kommt noch ein cm dazu, der bei uns tatschlich auf 2 oder 3 mm dann noch gepasst hat. Die Halterungen der Rolle wren schn, wenn sie nicht nur normale Schraublcher, sondern auch ein Langloch gehabt htten, da in Stein die Dbel nicht immer 100% passen und so eine leichte Verschiebung rauf oder runter sehr gut bzw. ntig ist. Da die Halter aus Plastik sind, kann man das natrlich selber mit einer Feile machen. Dennoch wre das ein Verbesserungsvorschlag ;-).
Dennoch passt nun alles und ich berlege es ein zweites Mal fr einen anderen Bereich zu kaufen. Bei uns dient es nicht dem Schutz fr Kinder, sondern wir nutzen es fr Hunde.

This gate is fantastic. I have angled stairs which means a standard stair gate will not work. I looked at this gate and realised I could make it fit (see pics). I used the included paper template (not the one on the side of the box!!!) to fit the main part of the gate which was incredibly easy, and then pulled the screen across to help me measure up where to position the wall hooks. It was a little fidly to fit the bottom wall hook due to the position of my stairs but this is the only product I could get to work… And it does work!
When closed it is positioned close to the next step meaning my puppy cannot get under the screen and climb up. I would recommend that you do the same if you get this gate because if you do not lock it into place it can be stretched a little.
It is very easy to use – just pull it across and put the handles into the hooks. Then just push and turn the locking handle and this locks it into place so it cannot be stretched. This also relieves pressure on the wall hooks.
My kids are 7 and 5 and they can use the gate with ease so on that basis alone I highly recommend this gate for families with children who need unsupervised access.
My puppy loved sneaking up to their bedrooms at bedtime to play and keep them awake. You can see the sadness in his eyes when he realised that this gate actually works and the little Houdini cannot escape through it!
I also love thst the screen retracts meaning it is not obtrusive when not in use.

The pieces to this gate are a bit confusing, but once you get them, its easy to install. Super easy to use, very sturdy for kids as well as dogs.
Great product and easy to install etc. Bought to replace a standard walk through stair gate for my medium size dog as the stairs are narrow, with a bend and a low ceiling so this feels considerably more roomy. We have an awkward sized space (between kitchen and living room) where we needed a barrier, we recently removed the doors seperating these two rooms. We purchased an extended metal baby gate but it looked awful and was constantly in the way. I saw this one and thought I’d give it a go, wow is all I can say! This is easy to fit, sturdy and perfect for purpose. The beauty is that when we don’t need it we can just leave it open and it takes up no room at all and doesn’t look a mess! It’s also easy to open and close one handed which is a massive bonus when you are carrying baby on hip.

Love these gates! Have them on our deck and it keeps our lab and kids inside. It is a little difficult for the kids to work as you have to reach across the opening to close but it definitely doesnt make it not worth getting!

It is easy to install if you are quite DIY handy. Our wall is slightly off therefore it doesn’t pull straight as you can see in the picture. This does not make it less effective, just not very nice on the eye.
I like that it is screwed into the wall and not a permanent gate.
I would highly recommend this for child, dog or even adults ha ha !

Low key and sturdy
This gate is really good and low key when it’s retracted. It has a lock on it to stop the material rolling when pressure is put on it. It really is the best gate I’ve bought, but did need quite a lot of work and a stone masonry drill to attach the fittings to the wall

Great for occasional use when grandchildren visit… Much more hassle to close & open than metal stair gate, but this doesn’t matter if not using every day! . The children don’t even try to get through it when in use. Easy to take off brackets to store in cupboard between use. Perfect for my needs.

I would certainly recommend this to Amazon shoppers

Wir haben die Rollo fr die Kche gekauft.. Lieferung ging schnell und der Aufbau war sehr verstndlich.. Alle Teile waren dabei.. Sogar waren die Halter doppelt wenn man die Rollo noch an einer anderen Stelle braucht.. Kann man die Rollo abnehmen und mit den 2ten Zubehr woanders befestigen. Natrlich sollte man nicht erwarten dass man sich an die gespannte Rollo hngen kann.. Ist halt “nur” ein Netz.. Aber zum Anhalten unseres 18 Monaten alten und manchmal auch des 4 jhrigen 🙂 Sohnes erfllt es seinen Zweck prima..Haben uns noch ein weiteres fr den Dachboden zugelegt.. Auch dieses Rollo war,.. ob wohl es warehouse ware..(also B ware) war super verpackt und nichts fehlte.. Funktioniert auch hier tadeslos.

This gate is fitted to the max width and once closed you hardly know it’s there, plus its completely detachable from the wall so I can use it elsewhere if needed as it comes complete with another set of brackets (less the spacers). Overall a great purchase, let’s see how it succumbs to every day life over the coming months.
Fitting can be a bit tricky if you have to fit using the spacers due to skirting boards as you need to get it lined up and vertical so the brackets fall in line.
Use the paper templates in the box it’s much easier than cutting them out from the side of the box.

Wir verwenden das Trschutzgitter, um unsere Katzen daran zu hindern, durch die Hhaustr rauszulaufen, wenn wir diese ffnen. Zwar ist der Spalt auf der Seite,an der das Schutzgitter nach dem Ausrollen eingehngt wird, so breit, dass er katzen nicht daran hindert, sich dort hindurchzuschlngeln, aber immerhin verhidert das Gitter einen direkten Sprint zur Haustr.
Problematisch ist, dass es fr die Montage eine ebene senkrechte Wand bentigt. Da der untere Befestigungspunkt sich auf Hhe der Fuleisten befindet, wirft das Schwieregkeiten auf. Wir haben diese so gelst, dass wir zunchst ein dickeret brett eingekehlt haben, dieses an der Wand angeschraubt haben und schlielich darauf die Befestigungselemente des Trschutzgitters angebracht haben. Nicht ganz unkompliziert, fr uns aber in Ordnung, da dies die zu schlieende Lcke um ein paar Zentimeter verringert hat, die sonst die maximale Breite des Gitters leicht berschriten htte.
Insgesamt in ordung, auch wenn es zumindest mit einer Hand nicht wirklich gut klappt, das Gitter zu schlieen.

Good gate for larger openings
Does the job, only issue i have is it can be sensitive when retracting. You have to hold it up stright or it fds easily and doesn’t retract properly.

Comes with paper drill guides but these are a nuisance as its pretty easy to set up. In the booklet it says it isn’t suitable for the top of the stairs and I agree, its a little flimsy feeling but it does hold secure. Perhaps a bit overpriced compared with a standard metal stairgate.

This was a very easy gate to install as long as you are happy to screw into the doorframe or wall as it is not pressure fit.

Bought this product to keep our new puppy away from climbing the stairs. Wanted something that wasn’t too much of an eyesore when not in use and could be folded away so access to the stairs was also easy. Everything about it I found to be ideal and just what I wanted. It was easy to install and I like the fact it can be locked so that not just anyone can run upstairs without me knowing, (our three year old has a habit of flooding the bathroom when left to her own devices). Highly recommend.

Ansonsten ist die Absperrung ja gut, dezent auf der weien Wand, praktisch auszuziehen und einzuhngen. Wir hatten das Gitter auch extra niedrig angebracht, vor der Sockelleiste. Bin ganz zufrieden. Deshalb trotzdem 4 Sterne Nur den Zweck, das kleine Mopsi auf jeden Fall zuverlssig aus bestimmten Wohnungbereichen auszusperren, kann es scheinbar nicht ganz erfllen wenn Mama und Papa weg sind und die Angst dass wir nicht mehr wieder kommen knnten zu gro wird.
Edit: ich hab vergessen das Netz zu sperren, da konnte sie sich wohl gegen das Netz drcken und es hat nachgegeben, so ist sie dann wohl unten durch. Wenn man das Netz sperrt, ist es aber stabil, da sollte sie sich dann nicht mehr unten durchdrcken knnen
Edit: Das Trgitter ist kein Hindernis. Mopsi kann sich mittlerweile unten durch quetschen und hat auch schon unten etwas das Netz bearbeitet, sodass es jetzt lchrig und geweitet is
Easy to extend and retract with one hand
Got this extender to keep dogs away from the door. Its perfect. Easy to out up, easy to use. Wish i had bought this earlier. Quality product, bit expensive but excellent value.
Does the job
I like the fact it is retractable so you don’t have to allow for a gate to swing open. I only have small dogs and it keeps them out, however not sure how strong it would be with a large dog
Purchased to act as a barrier for the puppy. Realatively easy to install however there are lots of bits to add to the brackets to ensure the top and bottom ones are 100% level, it won’t lock properly if it isn’t. More aesthetically pleasing than a traditional metal gate and stows away when not in use too, although isn’t the most discreet.

My main gripe with this product is the dreadful instructions. They print a drill template on the side of the box – complete with scissor guides where to cut it out. So I pulled the gate out the box, cut the sides off and set about drilling the holes according to the template. Only to discover it is completely wrong. Why print the wrong guides on the side of the box?! Madness.
I set about reading the instructions, but they were appalling. Along the lines of “If using parts A1, A2, B3 then use C1, D4 and B2 or A3 will not work.” Honestly, they were hard to decipher and not clear at all, some of the worst I have ever read. In the end I canned the instructions and figured it out myself.
I drilled the holes where I thought they should be and managed to get it all set up no problem. It was only when I was tidying up I actually found the correct drill templates tucked up inside the packaging. So they were supplied (my bad, I guess), but obviously I stopped looking for the drill templates when I saw the ones printed on the side of the box.
Anyway – once all fitted, it was fine. There is a little too much slack for my liking but otherwise great.
This product is not suitable for the top of the stairs.

We’d previously bought another like this through a high street store and within 5 minutes I knew it wouldn’t be sturdy and safe enough to even let my 10.5 month old near it! Then we found this and ordered it because of the reviews and can without doubt say it was the best decision, easy to install and beyond sturdy and safe enough for my daughter, really worth the money and we’re very happy!

Secure & easy to use gate
Bought this gate to keep my dogs out of part of the house- previous spring loaded stair gates I’ve used just fall down- this screws in and feels really secure. Easy to install & use one handed and does the job.
Safety Gate
Excellent one! Wide and suitable for indoor and outdoor. Double locking system ensures safety for the baby. Since me and my husband both work from home its hard to keep an eye always this is lifesaver. There is an instructions video available which was very handy. It is very sturdy and strobg we can open and close with one hand also. It comes with 2 mounting hardware in this case it can be used in different places with less work to do. Its a good investment to be honest.
Installed this after initially buying a similar item in the dreambaby brand that I had to return. That one was annoying in that the spacers are not included and are impossible to get hold of anywhere. So had to abort the installation.
This momcozy one has spacers included and all got installed in much less time.
Looking good so far, but yet to be tested against my hyperactive toddler. Will return to update review if he wins in the battle against the gate!

I’d been after one of these gates for a while as I knew I didn’t want one with bars. I don’t like how they move when pulled and that there’s constantly a bar running along the stair even when the gate is open. With this one it stretched along the entire stair with no gaps and feels secure when it’s attached to the hooks. Jack doesn’t even entertain the stairs when this is closed. Plus my boyfriend has large feet and it gives us both reassurance that he can come down the stairs safely when carrying Jack when the gate is open.
The mesh is really well made and there’s spare brackets in the box.
Thinking of getting another for Jack’s bedroom door.
Easy to clea
Very good. Thought it was going to be flimsy but it definitely wasn’t. Very strong and a brilliant length it fits between my 2 kitchen walls to stop my son. Can wash off marks and stains from children’s fingers. Will definitely be recommending and buying another one.
Easy to install and use
My 6.5 month old has recently started crawling and has now taken interest in crawling out of the room and is pretty fast! This gate is perfect for him, it was so easy to install with clear instructions sent via email before it was delivered. It is also easy to use and nice that you can open it and don’t even notice it when not in use, not big and bulky like other gates. Definitely recommend

The fabric for the gate is so long it will fit any staircase or doorframe. Strong sturdy material, no chance of little one getting limbs caught between bars like traditional stair gates

Habe das Gitter wegen unseren Hund gekauft damit der Nachts nicht ins Wohnzimmer aufen Sofa geht.. Endlich nicht mehr irgendwelche Sachen im Flur rumen sonder einfach nur das Rollo rberziehen und in die Haken hngen.. Das anbringen war sehr leicht.. Einfach nur 2 Halter anbohren und die 2 Haken anbohren, einklipsen und fertig.. Dbel, Schrauben.. Und verschiedene Halter und distanzstcke und ersatzhalter sind mit dabei.. Das trschutzgitter wirkt stabil und schn einziger Nachteil wie es meistens der Fall sind die Schrauben die in der Wand gebohrt werden, sind weiche einwegschrauben..Sehr Positiv ist aber die Schablone fr die Bohrungen.. Schablone dranhalten und Bohrungen Mitten nen Krner oder nen Stift markieren und man hat ohne nerviges messen die perfekten Stellen fr die Lche

Great product looks better then the metal baby gates. Only downside is that to close it you have to aline two clips for it to.stay in place not easy went carrying thongs. But more positive then negatives.

The plastic feels a bit cheap and I’m not entirely convinced that the locking mechanism works particularly well.
However, it stops our puppy from bombing up the stairs on her hunt for socks and other things she shouldn’t have, so it meets a need !

Simple tone fit and use
Easy to fit and operate – also fittings sit behind the gate and take up no more room than the gate itself. This was an issue I encountered with a previous product – where bulky fittings restricted the fitting.
