Had a load of render to hack off, was going to hire a demolition hammer for 25 a day. Saw this thought I give it a try, went through it, like a knife through butter. Great bit of kit, cheaper than highering.

Purchased to chisel through an old fence foundation (about 40cm x 30cm x 2m) made of concrete to make a small hole for planting and wasn’t sure how well this would work. I was pleasantly surprised.

Don’t get me wrong the bigger heavy duty breakers would have done the job quicker but would have cost 100 more and less versatile. This however cuts through concrete with relative ease and after about 2 hours I had my hole.

Very sturdy piece of kit and the chisels still don’t even look used. I bought this in a lightning deal at 49.99 so it was a massive bargain and hugely impressed with the quality.

For the money you can’t go wrong. I was going to hire one but was 60 so bought this instead and did a cracking job of digging out some steps and concrete base. Excelle

    Value for money with reliability

Good value for money. I had a couple of jobs lined up for this and it was almost as cheap as hiring one. Needed to break up and remove an old concrete base for a rotary washing line and it made easy work of it. Probably not good enough for professional use but def good for diy. Recommend

This is a great SDS Drill. Incredibly tough and does exactly what it says on the tin. Helped me pile through concrete fence post bases in no time. Bayonet filling to the chisel set.

I bought this to break a wall from top to bottom which meant breaking breeze blocks in half. It chopped off the piece I needed gone in half an hour or so. Definitely paid for itself and I still have a very capable drill and breaker. Well worth the money.

Would say the instructions could be slightly better but excellent for the money.

I read another review where the hammer action was very weak.
I found this as well but I figured I’d check the oil level. When I opened the filler cap the reservoir was packed with grease. The instructions say to use engine oil, so i scraped the grease out and filled it with oil.
Works like a charm now. really strong hammer action. I would recommend this fix to anyone.

Spent over an hour with a hammer and chisel to try and remove paving slab dabs of cement so I could re-lay the slab. This machine broke up the cement in minutes. Was like a knife through butter. Let the machine do the work.

I bought this SDS drill after reading reviews. It’s not so heavy to use as reviews mentioned. I’m not a big strong bloke but I’ve used it one handed to break concrete post mix. This drill comes in a good case with a point chisel and a spade chisel. 3 useful sized drills too.
I bought it because I’m doing up my rear garden and concrete post mix has popped their heads which a hammer and chisel had no effect. This MPT didn’t break the concrete like a hot knife through butter but it did break 18″ thick concrete quite admirably. Well worth the price. Its a drill I’m glad I bought.

Bought this for the chisel mechanism to break up some concrete foundation beneath a garden ramp I removed. Really easy to use and made easy work of breaking up the concrete into more manageable chunks.

The drill has a fair weight to it, but this is to be expected for the nature of the jobs it is intended for.

Incredibly good value for money, especially if you only plan to use for the odd one off job. It was certainly cheaper for me buying this and carrying out my own work than accepting quotes around 1000 to get the job done.

I’ve just received one of these. I probably didn’t need this beast! I chose this one because every review I read of other drills said they were too weak to get through brick & stone. My ancient 1970’s Black & Decker could make no impression in our garage wall, so I had to replace it. I barely even switched this thing on and it was straight through. Incredible. This is very powerful indeed. If you want something to chisel channels into the walls for wiring for example, this machine is your buddy. Fantastic, buy with confidence.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorked on building sites for several years using kango hammers to break through walls. This is as powerful easily! Completed the access hole above in less than 20 minutes. It isn’t light but if it was it wouldn’t have the power it does. Goes through bricks and mortar in seconds. Tip, have both point and chisel to hand because it drives in so quickly you can sometimes get the bit stuck. Release it from the chuck (very simple) and put the spare bit in and break the brickwork to get the other one out.
    Love this breaker.

At my second attempt, I drilled into a concrete lintel with the hammer action in less than a minute. But, I had to go online to follow the instructions for a very similar drill. It appears this drill may be an example of “reverse engineering”. I will be contacting the manufacturer about the user guide. Otherwise, I am now happy with my purchase.

Heavy duty SDS masonry drill with chisel action. Having never used one before or even seen one being used I took a chance as I had really bad pointing and stonework to sort out. Bought this to break up concrete at bottom of fence posts – and this tool makes short work of that task.
In fact you need to watch out for the strenght of the hammer function when using the chisels – very easy to hammer too deep into the concrete and end up getting the chisel stuck.
And the SDS/Slotted Drive System makes switch of chisels / drills is so easy – just pull back the chuck and change drill bit 😉
A perfect addition to anyones DIY tool collection.

Only very very small negative point i found when using was that the mode switch initially was very stiff/hard to move
but after a couple of turns it loosens up.

I bought this to take down a garage, which it did pretty well.
However, the dust from the bricks got into the fitment and now I cannot remove the chisel bit. We’ve tried all sorts a it stuck fast. So if you go with this model, I’d suggest stopping every now and then to clean out the fitting to ensure the bits are easily removed.

Used it for about 1 hour to demolish porcelain floor tile and cement backer board in a 30 sf half bathroom. Did not used the enclosed bits, instead I bought a separate Bosch sds plus tile chisel. The bit and the hammer drill did the trick. Drill had plenty of power. Good value for the price. Better than renting from Home Depot for almost as much money and having nothing to show for it! Even if I use it for 2 more hours and it breaks, it’ll be worth the investment. But it doesn’t seem to be the case!

I needed something strong to demo my 1950’s bathroom tile and mortar. I was swinging a sledge hammer and the tile wall would not budge. I rented one of the expensive ones from Home Depot for a day ($70 per day) and found out that this demo project was going to take a lot longer. I decided to buy this one because of the good reviews and price. I will say that I am shocked at how good this one works. It works even better than the $1500 one I rented. Feels well built and strong. It’s only been a few days, but I am happy with the purchase. Highly recommend this hammer drill. You will not be disappointed!

The support handle is great as you can move it around to suit where and how you are using the tool. We’ve just used it to bring down a wall to put in an RSJ. It was very effective and controllable. We’ve also used it to take out a few lines of bricks again very easy and efficient. It’s great value for a DIYer. I bought this to drill the last 10 or 12 3/4″ anchor holes in a concrete deck for my pool cover. My last drill died in that effort. What a difference! This drill with a decent SDS bit went right into the concrete. So much faster and easier than the old drill. I wish I had bought it sooner. I don’t know what to expect in terms of durability yet. It comes with extra brushes. Hopefully I don’t need them too soon.

I needed to put in a load of new sockets and the bricks we have in the walls are especially tough and my ordinary corded drill struggled to get into them. This monster came with 4 bits plus a pick and chisel. After drilling a bunch of holes the chisel function made mincemeat of the briicks and I had the required hole in no time. It is big, heavy and does what is says on the tin in no time at all. Great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI needed to cut a hole through a double brick wall with a 527 mm diamond saw. My normal drill, a 550 w Bosch, couldn’t cope with torque needed, overheating and slipping. I bought this to do the job, which it did, nicely! It comes in a nice tough plastic case, with about six drill bits and fittings. It is an SDS drill, so I had to get a new arbor for the diamond bit, but that was no problem (also from Amazon). The drill itself is very heavy and basic. There is no speed or torque control. It has three modes, rotary only, rotary + hammer, and hammer only. In rotary mode the literature says 800 rpm, which I can believe, not too fast but OK for masonry work and the diamond drilling. Everything about this drill is big heavy and chunky, Isambard Kingdom Brunel would have been proud of it. The cable is quite short, not a great issue. You need to be in good physical shape to hold it in place with a heavy 527 mm diamond drill and 200 mm arbor on top of a step ladder, I can tell you. It took about 15 minutes to cut a nice hole in the wall for my extractor fan, and the drill was not bothered by the loading. I did however discover that it has a safety clutch, which is not noted anywhere in the specs, and is a good safety feature as it has a mean torque when the drill catches. I haven’t tried the chisel function, so can’t comment on that, but for large diameter diamond drilling, perfect! I am giving it 5 stars, because, although lacking speed and torque control, it does what it says on the tin, and does sit well.

Durable hammer that comes with a nice array of chisels and bits. Worked well to pull up a living room and kitchen floor consisting of 2cm heavily mortared tile and will be using to pull up the floor in the rest of the house. This is a brush-type motor and unfortunately one of the two original brushes wore down very quickly, but after replacing the brushes with a set that came with the hammer drill, I was back in action. Contacted the seller and the company was nice enough to send a couple free sets. The next set seems to be wearing evenly, so probably just a one off issue.

I bought this drill when my old hammer drill kept on failing when I needed to put up some heavy duty hooks into masonary.

The drill is nicely boxed and comes with some well engineered bits.

On the down size is the weight but this has to be off set against the price and the fact that it has a chisel feature which other similarly priced hammer drills do not.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent product for the money. It’s not especially lightweight, but then if it was, it wouldn’t do the job. As it is, the machine seems solid and well made, it’s easy to use, and powerful enough to do what you’d expect of it. I used it to drill holes in house wall made of granite composite very hard bricks, overlain with painted pebbledash render, and it did this easily and efficiently. It didn’t (as I feared) cause the render to crack or flake off, and it went through the very hard bricks effortlessly. Good set of bits, and in a handy wellmade case for storage. I’m happy with this, it’s great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersUsed in conjunction with a Starrett BMC 102 100 mm diamond core bit and Draper arbour and guide as suggested by Amazon. I needed to cut a 4 inch hole for extractor fan in concrete block under plasterboard. It skidded around on the surface a bit but once it bit into the block I was through in less than a minute. It didn’t grab once but there is a risk of injury as there is no clutch / sensor. Very powerful and sturdy looking. It just smashes through stuff. Appreciate the sturdy handle and clutch feature which helps to avoid getting hit when the drill bit gets stuck resulting in a sudden whiplash effect.

The drill comes with a few standard accessories in a hard case which keeps it all together.

Very good value, price for power. I wouldnt say it’s lightweight but that what adds to its force and getting though materials quickly.

For a cheap tool I would put it on the level of big brand tools

Drilled about 8 holes, 6″ deep with the supplied bit. Worked flawlessly. Cant beat it for the price. Time will tell if it will last. But seems like it’s pretty well built. Accessories are a nice touch. Blow.molded case is a plus too. Would buy agai

Broke up concrete and drilled holes I needed with ease. Worth the money, wasted money in the past renting brand name hammer drills.

Can’t say what durability is . Just haven’t used it that much but the quality seems ok for the price.

Bought to bust up old tile and mortar in my home. Tool did what it was supposed to and seems to be well built. Can compete with the big power tool brands and is less expensive. Highly recommend!
