The Mr Beams Motion-Sensing Light-Sensing Battery Powered LED Stair Light is part of the Mr Beams line of intelligent wireless LED lights. The Step Lights use the best LEDs on the market to put out 35 lumens of bright white light, covering over 11 square M each. Sent back
Sent them back for the other model nothing wrong with these good lights they were just to big in size for above my door frames which is where I have the other models. Just wrote this review to get it off me list of waiting to be reviewed.
Provides good illumination around our side entrance
It was easy to instal two of the light. I used the back piece as a template for drilling holes and they were up within10 minutes. The lights are motion activated during the hours of darkness. There is sufficient light to see the steps and get the key in the lock.
Great little lights
Excellent alternative to solar PIR lights when using mains power isn’t an option. Battery power ensures the lights do their job when needed most (ie, in winter), which is not always the case with solar lights.
The beams are strong enough to light most paths (I used three on a 10 years stretch of steps) but not too bright as to cause a nuisance.
Only time will tell as to how long the bstteries will last, but so far so good.

Using these to light a path down to the garden at night. Really sensitive to motion and come on every time. LED is small but bright enough to light the way. Have 2 of them and like the fact they take normal C sized batteries.
1.5 years from batteries
Bought in Oct 19 installed on outside steps Nov 19, batteries have now died, 1.5 years later, when replacing them have noticed the terminals are starting to corrode,

Good Uni
Good solid unit, easy to install and gives a good light. We purchased to light up garage doors for finding keyhole in the dark.
Perfect lights
Got these to go on the wall on my drive. I tried solar powered lights but they wasn’t very good and didn’t want to have power cables run along the walls. These are very bright and the sensor works perfectly. So good I purchased more.
Very Brigh
Bought two of these, one for the inside of a shed, and one for the outside of another, both perform better than expected considering the size, I cannot comment on the battery life as I have not had them long enough although the one mounted outside did stay on a fair bit due to a flappy branch of a tree, and it still seem okay.

Installed to light the side of my driveway along a very tall brick wall. As I reverse in they light up in sequence so I can see my way clearly. Works perfectly every time.
Wonderful Little Lights
Wonderful! I have 8 of these on steps around the garden and they are fantastic. I have had them for around 4 years and only had to replace one because the screw at the back rusted and I couldn’t change the batteries. I use industrial batteries in them and change them annually. They are definitely worth buying is like me you have a lot of steps to negotiate in the dark.

Great small device
We are using this for the inside of a large grocery parcel box so that when the delivery comes and it’s dark they can see where to put the groceries. They are fitted inside the box and work a treat. I am sure there are many uses for them and we are very pleased with them.

Great motion detector lights - Highly Recommend!
I already bought two previously. I now have 6. I bought them so I could see what my dog was doing when he was in the yard on a dark night. They work brilliantly and I highly recommend them. Easy to install and fix to a wall or wooden gate etc.
Bought two of these to help light a dark pathway by our front door.
I can’t speak to the battery life just yet, but the light f plenty bright enough to help us see where we are going and the pathway feels a bit safer. Also helps us find out keys easier!

Quality lights.

Glow option not really worthwhile
I bought these for indoor use on my stairway as there is very little natural light and they stated a permanent low glow when no daylight is detected alongside the motion sensor which gives a stronger timed light. The ‘glow’ really is just that, very low. Even when pitch black it is barely noticeable and will obviously run down the battery quicker. The motion sensor works well and is of a decent brightness. I am now using outside external doors, just with the motion sensor, which works well. All in all, a good motion sensor light, but not worth paying more for the addition of a glow option.

Living in uk we can’t guarantee sunlight for solar lights – these work in all weathers – Ice – storms – heavy rain ! Battery life excellent too !
Good for small areas limited range
Firstly they work fine and in a dark garden provide enough light to keep your feet on a path. Not so easy to fit though, no sticky pad option so you have to go with screws which for us meant raw plus etc. Light cast is limited so not a replacement for security lights

Ok to be fair these lights are not bright but i dont think that this is its purpose… so if you want security lighting get something else….However if you want a light thats not going to blind you and want something to guide you these are perfect. There is only 1 led light and a reflective piece that you stick on yourself the batteries are easy to locate and cost me 10 but im told that these can last up to 3 years so good value for money…..As already said I bought them with the purpose of using them as a guide for my family so they can easily drive up our driveway and doesn’t blind you or light up every time someone walks past…The lights are always set to dim but gets brighter when motion is activated …The Motion sensor is short range (couple of feet ) and allows ample light when its on ..So for me it does what I wanted it for..Guiding light for a driveway.
The only negative I can see is when taking the back plate of to place the batteries ….the little weather proof screws can fall out, ..to be fair they did and I actually lost one…but still holds tight and so far holding up well..even with all the English rain we have had this November…So keep an eye on the screws..

Love these lights. Only just fitted them so can’t comment on durability or battery life yet but very impressive so far. Using them outside our narrow boat to give extra light on the pontoon.
I purchased these to light the end of my drive. It’s long and I didn’t want to pay out for expensive electrical work so I thought I’d give these a try. This is 4 of the lights, positioned every 8ft or so and as you can see it gives off ample light to shine up the driveway.
Thrilled with them. Saved me several hundred on an electrician!

Amazon dropped the ball on the delivery of these TWICE and eventually cancelled the purchase and bought locally instead. They are grey little lights used primarily as a feature rather then to provide actual lighting of a space. Good light output, excellent build quality, batteries last long in them and good value at this price (amazons price – I had to pay 50% more locally but needed them ASAP)
Good for a gentle glow!
Used two of these to add light to a narrow side passage , pretty good , maybe having a third one would be better for me as they cast light over a reasonably narrow field of view.
Keeps people safe for a low price. Variable activity in mid-light.
Works amazingly in low light or dark so that it comes on with movement. More temperamental in mid-light. Impressed with 1 year light from 3 batteries (not included) but won’t be able to confirm until 1 year.
Good product.
Well made product that does what it says on the tin. We are using it to light up some stairs leading up to our door and to light up the door to see where to put the keys in. There is just enough light for the job and so good enough. The sensor only activates at about 6 feet and not the 12 as in the description.

Easy to install, lights up outside steps brilliantly without need for expensive wiring, don’t know how long batteries last yet.
Absolutely brilliant. I looked at a lot of these wireless lights and I am really glad I chose these. Easy to set up and really useful being able to use the mode that’s on for short on time suits me perfect. Lights up the front door and I have one at the bottom of the front steps. The sensor is fantastic I leave very early so always dark. These things are brilliant. So rare to find things that really do as the write up states it does.

I bought two. Easy to fit. Have placed them about 60cms above 2 flights of steps at the front of the house. They give just enough light to make the steps visible in the dark. I will see how they perform over this winter.
