I have weakness in my knee and I have found that using the machine for an hour a day is helping me to walk steadily. It may not work for everyone but it’s made me feel better. After use it’s light enough to pick up and store behind an armchair.
I saw this being advertised and was really impressed with what it did. The power of advertising! I purchased it really on an impulse and just hoped it would be everything they said it was. I needn’t have worried. It’s everything and more. I love it and have already recommended it to those who will listenand even some who maybe thought they weren’t interested!
I have just come out of a very long stay in hospital and needed something to get the blood pumping to loosen up my knees and ankles, so far so good. This machine is absolutely fantastic and I can highly recommend it for anyone that situation.
I so felt a difference after 3 weeks. Yes, to me well worth the money if you are wheelchair bound. I had another one but you had to use bare feet, so no good to me, this you can leave your footwear on. Brilliant.

After taking it out of the box it was self Explanitary, how to set it up. The instructions were very brief and you learn by Experimentation. The only thing I did note from the Thane TV advert and my own Experience is that, “Thin Long Legged People” would find it easier to use because the (Gate) gap between their legs is narrow like the width of this Machines Pedals. Myself as Disabled and a Short Legged Portly pear shaped Person, found my feet wandering off the outer Sides of the Pedals, to keep my feet on the pedals I tilted my feet onto their outersides so I was a bit BOW Legged and my knees rose up and out to the sides instead of Up and Down. HOWEVER this does seem to be a good Product and I’m sure I will perfect its use. “CLICKING” when pedals in Motion? Stop the machine and remove black Centre cover and check the Allen Key headed Bolt is Screwwed in tight enough, replace black cover and try again, if “CLICKING” continues take your feet off the pedals and listen for Clicking, if it doesn’t Click just lightly put your hand on the back part of one pedal above the Roller that is located Underneath, If it starts Clicking its a Roller on the Pedal that wasn’t PRE GREASED Properly? Stop the Machine, Turn the Pedal Over Forward so its upside down and Exposes the small Wheel , very sparingly Squib a bit WD40 LITHIUM GREASE, or similar brand, onto both sides of the Axle in the middle of the Wheel, and t8ghten the 4 Screw, then turn the wheel and wipe off Excess grease, turn Pedal back over and after a few Rotations the Wheel Bearing will stop “CLICKING”.
The exerciser is very sturdy. However, most will be ordered by elderly,people like me. Where are the instructions. We need step by step instructions ina good sized print. Thee is a hand controller and yes eventually I sorted things out to be able to use but clear information would be so helpful. Also, almost 200 and not the needed batteries in the box. Luckily I had some this time but many people may not.

I love this machine, I use it every night and it really does keep the puffiness in my ankles down and takes the puffiness away and the fact that you can sit and use it while watching the television is a bonus.
Bought for our mother who has had a stroke and no use of her left side. This machine moves both of her legs in such a way that it will unquestionably have benefits to circulation and muscle tone which we’ve been unable to find using any other device. Very grateful to have found it.

Product is good, initial usage is promising, but the paperwork and warranty side of things are not so clear cut.
I highly recommend this item for people who don’t or cant do much. I love it. It helps with circulation in feet and legs. For results it needs to be used regular. It does it itself u just have to b sat down and put ur feet on it.
My Mum pointed this product out to me but we were a little dubious at first. Many exercise products make claims about their ease of use and then when they arrive you are left feeling disappointed and frustrated. She decided she would give it a try and has not been disappointed.
It was easy to set up, but quite heavy for someone with impaired strength to move (so ask for help if needed). My Mum has Post Polio Syndrome, a replacement knee and has had to use a wheelchair for about 8 years. She feels she has lost even more strength in her legs during that time, but it really doesn’t matter with this machine because it really does all the work for you. You put your feet on it and it literally does the work for you.
It is still early days as she has only been using it 3 weeks but she reports good progress! She feels her circulation has improved and there is even some strengthening of her thigh muscles. She does not expect she will every be able to walk again the way she used to but she wonders if in time she will feel stronger and safer when she stands to do ‘transfers’ and little jobs like standing at the sink.
She would highly recommend this product.
So I can sew, knit, read and watch telly all at the same time. If you sit in the correct position it actually moves your legs right to the hip. So like riding a bike except you don’t do anything, the machine does it for you. This means after sitting for a long period, I don’t feel like I have to crank up my joints to get them moving. I can get out of the chair and walk easily. I don’t regret buying this, unlike some ” exercise gadgets”
I have bought in the past.
The machine was easy to assemble. It is very sturdy. Everyone who sits on the chair behind it absentmindedly start peddaling. Even if I just do a couple of minutes at the time, I feel it in my legs, they are definitely getting stronger. Would highly recommend.
So far it is working well, I will be waiting for a longer period to have a better idea for judging this device.
Like the fact it can be stored in a small space. I bought this mainly for circulation in my legs. I’m fast approaching 74years old and find mobilisation getting a little tricky.
Good for keeping me active
Took me a while to work out the program but did in the end. I use it while I watch tv.
Great machine, much heavier than expected, only used the manual setting so far.
The only problems are— it is difficult to slide into an arch chair with the machine in place and if you leave the remote control in it’s cradle it is almost impossible to pick it up while sitting in the chair. ( This has been solved by my wife making a small bag to hang on the chair arm).
We both have used the machine for periods up to 15 minutes and in the short time we have had it noticed some improvement.
This machine is great for my elderly husband to get some leg exercise, he’s got oedema and I bought this machine to see if he would use it to help shift some of the fluid on his ankles and feet as he now can’t walk very far due to heart problems. He’s using it after I put it together which took 10 minutes. Slight squeak from wheels to begin with but that soon went once in use. Only complaint is scan meter is hard to see with no back light but not a serious problem.
Love it! Had for 3 days and using each day and can already feel the benefits. Wish I’d found it years ago!! In context I’m 70 with poor mobility having been hospitalised and lost muscle tone. This will make all the difference and I’m looking forward to skipping about again before too long.

Unable to walk far or to climb stairs, I was afraid this movement would be too much for me. I am delighted to find it is comfortable, easy and under my control. This product is now in daily use and enables me to take exercise I couldn’t do before. I am very pleased with this item and recommend it.

I have had this about a month now and have been using it every day. I am very impressed it has been so easy to use. I can watch my fav prog on TV while my legs are being exercised and it has doen them so good. I have lost the odeama and my ankles and knees are much stronger now. It has helped me no end so I feel I can recommend this to anyone who has mobility problems or cant put a lot of weight on their legs, being able to exercise helps tremendously.

This piece of kit is better than I expected (despite it being expensive) and works really well for my chairbound 90 year old! She sits there with the thing whirring around and is happy with the movement and her passive exercise regime. If I had a criticism it would be that the default starting speed is too high. It would be better if it started slow and the user was responsible for increasing the speed, rather than it starting at a moderate speed and having to be adjusted downwards for our elderly user.

My husband had a fall and was in hospital for 2 weeks when he came home he wasn’t steady on his feet with the result he didn’t walk so he saw this a d asked me to buy this device. He started using this as soon as it was delivered gradually a bit longer every day or short sessions three times a day. Extremely easy to use
Following several spinal operations I unfortunately find myself with limited mobility and unable to walk unaided. Even when I do mobilise it is at a slow pace and only for a few yards at a time. I have been looking for a piece of equipment that would help to get some strength back in my legs.
I have been fortunate to find the Orbitrek MX . This allows me to sit in my armchair and pedal with almost no effort as the machine works on electricity! Even though I have only used the Orbitrek MX for a relatively short amount of time my legs are beginning to feel stronger. I have no doubt that if I use this equipment regularly my leg strength will continue to improve and likewise my mobility.
I definitely recommend the Orbitrek MX for anyone who finds manual equipment difficult if not impossible to use. It could change your life.

I can’t walk far because of arthritis and this has exercised my leg muscles and has even strengthened my legs to walk further. Highly recommend and fun, use it while I’m watching TV.

Orbitrek good for low impact excercise
Overall sturdy, the remote can be annoying as I have to press several times to get it to send a signal to the machine ( not a battery issue). Once the signal reaches the pedals then all is well. Use it most days to improve circulation.

A quality piece of exercise equipment that is easy to use. I have hip and knee arthritis pain so was looking to find a low impact way to exercise those joints. Being very sturdy in construction, it is quite heavy for me to move around, so best put close to where you will be most likely to use it. Had seen this machine advertised on TV, but looked in Amazon and got for half the price.

MN type - requires some assembly and came with a squeak.
I used to own one of the original stand-up orbitreks years ago and it was amazingly sturdy and reliable. This newer and admittedly more convenient versions do not seem to uphold original reputation.
One of the wheels was attached wrong way around and squeaking so I corrected it and kept correcting number of times adding provided lubricant but the squeaking persists which is a shame because for that price (even with the discount I manage to catch it was quite a spend) and low noise assurances things like that should not happen, but then again it saddens me to say it is made in China and fuels the stereotype.

This is helping make my legs a little stronger which is what I wanted it for. Just not sure it will last, as it makes a fair few clangs and creaks as it goes round!

Worthwhile investme
I have tried all sorts of exercise bike type
Equipment.
As someone with severe bilateral clubbed foot, chronic nerve and joint pain (from spine down), muscle wastage due to wheelchair use and tremors, as well as being blind? I am unable to use an exercise bike with regular pedals.
As a result I have been gaining wait.
I found already my legs are getting stronger, and it’s easy even for me to pedal (I didn’t get the electric/power assist version).
Honestly, makes doing exercise both possible and quite fun. I’d recommend

Not as sturdy as could be
Bought for my severely disabled wife and it’s useful for exercising whilst seated. Within two days with every pedal stroke it started making a noise. Seemed the wheel under the pedal was not running true so had to find a sweet spot where it stopped the noise. Problem is that there is too much play in the pedal mounting so every so often it starts again. When running normally it’s pretty quiet and can be used while watching TV but when it starts making the noise it’s really distracting. So I guess you just have to hope you get a more solid version.

Everything I wanted from a powered pedal exerciser, sturdy and no assembly required, it worked straight out of the box. A little expensive, but if it lasts it will worth the extra cost. Very pleased so far.

Love this product as so easy to use. Great for when the weather is bad and you don’t want to go for a walk. Not sure how to take the caps of the side to tighten it up as don’t want to force and break them that’s my only Concern.
Very good machine for exercise
My wife is unable to walk much as she rapidly tires so this machine is very good for her as she is able to go for a walk in the house without any weight on her body. The exercise pattern varies with direction and speed so is very well thought out. She can walk for ten minutes or longer if she has the energy. This keeps her legs moving as she had started to lose the use of them through lack of walking.

It could do with and ex-long lead as most people do not have plugs ever ware in there house.

Did Everything on the Box
Very happy with my Orbitrek MX, and hopefully as time goes on, aches and discomfort in both legs will become less.
Tried other similar pieces of equipment, this is so much better than any other we have tried. It has helped my disabled wife way beyond anything we could have imagined.
I’ve been using this stepper for just 5 days and am very happy with it. It comes ready to use; so setup/build is not required and it’s straightforward to operate. I use it regularly throughout the day when sat – reading, watching television or simply relaxing. I’m already experiencing the benefits. I easily do over 10,000 steps a day with this machine. Highly recommended.
This product seems to be an ideal solution for excersise for my wife who has limited mobility. It arrived promptly ( 24 hours), is well made and well packed. At this stage l am impressed with its overall performance, but time will tell. The machine doing the work is a great incentive to excercise .regularly, particularly with my wife’s condition. It is compact and the programing is simple to understand and operate.

It’s very heavy and I had to lift it awkwardly to plug in the lead because I couldn’t find it at first. Once I conquered that problem, it worked well for me.
Had surgery on my foot/ankle and it has helped with the recovery and movement.
Would have liked to have been able to increase its speed another few levels or use manually to get a little more out the product.

Bought this product as easy exercise for my husband who has some mobility problems resulting from polio as a child. The fact that it exercises the legs and feet while sitting down is a big plus. He likes it – and I use it as well. It feels very good for circulation. Another plus is being able to read or watch television while exercising. As we’ve only had it for a week, it remains to be seen how durable it is but it feels well constructed but portable at the same time. The programmes beginning with slow speeds, gradually increasing, then slowing down towards the end appear to be well planned.
